Awesome staff! I am no stranger to auto parts stores and performing my own maintenance and repairs on my ride when I can. This location has some of the nicest and most helpful staff I've ever had the fortune of coming across.Most recently I went in to replace a battery and helped me test my current battery to make sure it was bad before I made the purchase on a new one. And then, they helped me install it in the parking lot. I do have the skills to replace a battery in a car but it was so convenient to do it here and they took care of everything for me and most of all..... they were extremely professional and the service could not have been better. Called ahead because I live 30min away and this store was the only one showing what I needed in stock. The person on the phone verified that the part was there before I made the drive. When I got there, Roderick was the best. He did a great job ensuring it was the correct part, explaining the warranty, as well as the core charge. If this Advanced wasn t so far out of my way, I d definitely shop here often.

Well run store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Had to get battery replaced and they took care of me in a hurry, even though the store was pretty busy with customers.UPDATE: Same great experience when my poor friend, whose battery was smoking and smelling of sulfur, needed a replacement. The guys were friendly, helpful, did some diagnostics, and handled the job efficiently and with great professionalism. I came back because of my very good experience last time, and I was not disappointed. Your employees are some of the best in the business.

Awesome service. I had a flat and couldn't get one of the lug nuts off, because the last tire shop I went to had rounded it. It was Saturday evening after all the tire shops had closed. Roderick went out of his way to help remove it, and he recommended a great tire shop nearby that was open 24/7. All I bought from them was a new lug nut, but Roderick made sure to get us safely on the road and saved our trip. He was a lifesaver.

Great customer service. Scarlett approached me offering to help me find what I was looking for. She didn't just point down an Isle but she actually helped review packaging instructions for the best product for my urgent need. I was in/out quickly. Kudos Scarlett

Okay I had two awfull experience at this place the one on Nebraska and Hillsborough... Number one . I ordered a simple licence plate for my Mazda I can understand that may take 5 or 6 days to get but the least they could do is keep me posted well it took 7 days and I had to show up and guess if my $18 bulb was there .. Number 2 . I came back ( big mistake) need it a brake caliper paint so I asked the same lady manager from last time if I could test the paint on a piece of paper or something before I buy it she said NOPE LOOK AT THE CAP AND THAT'S ALL YOU GET.. told me that.. so I decided to buy it anyways when I was just about to pay with nobody on the store just me she was on the phone on a personal call I had to wait 7 minutes before I decided to dropped everything and leave the storejust an awful experience never ever coming back there awful just awful customer service

Luis was great. He was very polite and genuinely kind. Luis helped me get the correct item i needed for my vehicle and I was stressed thinking they would not do it but he was a big help. The other workers there were nice too. Will be back.

We went to the store @901 Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, Fl. It was 8:00pm when we arrived. They weren't supposed to close until 10pm and the doors were locked. Now, we r sitting in the parking lot with our SUV overheated a d your store is closed. I understand a storm is coming but the weather isn't even bad yet. We discovered our radiator cap was broken as we were gassing up. We will never shop at this store again. We went to Auto Zone, which was open. They will get our business from now on. Don't shop at. Advanced Auto Parts.Horrible customer service.

I went with my friend to get her brakes done. They were very thorough and they were also the cheapest we could find. They replaced the brake pads and rotors and did an excellent job. The employees also have a great personality. He made us laugh which is always great. I will def be taking my own car there bc of their great service.

Manager was carrying conversation with a regular customer that held the line up unnecessarily. Then when I paid for my item, the price said one thing but charged me a higher price and told me the difference will come in a rebate. The sign didn't say nothing about a rebate.

I bought a lug wrench there but it was unable to release the lugs on my car. I tried to return it but they refused because I couldn't find my receipt. Like I might steal a $25 tool for my hundred thousand dollar Mercedes!Fortunately, there is a great Advance Auto on N Florida Ave next to Home Depot for next time.The owner responded to my review and said I could contact their support center and retrieve proof of purchase. I have to wonder why his employee at the sales desk didn't give me that information.

Excellent parts store. Friendly, component and knowlegable staff.They lean certain tools so make sure you bring them back so this will continue. They let me use the air pump free several times without issue or hesitation.

I went in for a sudden battery check and had to have it replaced. John helped me. Very quick service. Was in and out with new battery within 15 mins. John did all the work very smoothly and was friendly. Thanks John!

Great store. To speed things up, I ordered the item online. By the time I got to the counter, my item was waiting for me. The employee pulled up my order and printed out my receipt. Fast and polite service.

Advance Auto is the best all around parts store in town. You will have a different shopping experience at each store in town. This store is a hub store so if you buy lots of parts and need them right away, you'll visit this store at some point. The service at this store is terrible. There is anywhere from 6-10 employees on the clock, in the store most of the day but they still manage to leave me standing at the counter almost everytime I walk in. Often, the newest employee will be at the counter helping a customer and me and another customer will be waiting for help. In the background, you can hear all the other employees either doing their jobs or mostly talking about their lives to each other or doing something. The employees who are delivery drivers or some other position will walk by and see what's going on, but will not call someone to the counter or help a customer themselves. It's frustrating especially because I don't need help, i just need someone to ring me up or pull parts from the back and then ring me up. They really should have more retail staff in position, at the counter all day and have the commercial people in a different store or at least an office in the back where retail customers waiting for help don't hear them joking and playing around.

My husband went and bought a part there and two days later it broke when he called to get another one they said they didn't sale that type of part. He knows we're he got it from so he called them for that specific part he ended up having to go to O Rally's for it and they gave him a life time warranty for the same part Advance said they never had. I suggest you go somewhere else to get a better part for your car or truck

Bad staff and management. The associate who knew nothing about cars gave me the wrong part, keeping my car parked for an additional week because I couldnt figure out what was wrong. When I check the part number I found their error. Even with my receipt and the part the manager didnt want to give me a refund. Not until I yelled did he finally respond.

I visited this advanced auto parts store looking for a replacement power steering reservoir for my car, they did not have one in stock and the price was $100. I was told that it could be ordered and will take a week to come in and I said no thanks I'll check Amazon. The sales clerk behind the counter said yes, Amazon is the bomb. I found a replacement part on Amazon for $30 with free shipping. This might be a note for advanced auto parts to get in line with the market on internet sales and shipping parts to houses.

I went in today with a brake light burned out. Since I know nothing about cars, I asked the employee who helped me, Horace, if someone could help me or if I needed to go to a mechanic. He told me to not waste my time and money going to my mechanic! Not only did he go out with me to change the bulb, he showed me how to do it myself for the next time. On top of that, he was incredibly polite and called me ma'am every time he addressed me. It's employees like Horace that will keep me coming back to Advance Auto Parts.

Well, I can only say this store, the staff is helpful and most know what they are talking about, good people nice staff, keep up the good work.
