Do not go here for exhaust work. Drove 30 min to an exhaust shop for the guys sitting down to tell me that dont do exhaust work there. Not even kidding. Exhaust guy retired! Go somewhere else for your exhaust work! Youve been warned!

First of all Thank You Joe!!!! Joe is simply the best in business across the 50 states in the US , these are not just words please come and try, he is the best in terms of honesty, THE BEST in labor and MOST importantly quality and a humble human being!!! My experience on AC repair and clock spring replacement was simply at its best and I couldn t have asked for anything better, I saved 100s of dollars as joe simply turned down the recommendation from another repair shop, he could have easily made money by just acknowledging what I wanted but that s the quality of this gentleman!!and it s your turn now to know that this place for car repair is a no brainer !!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

Joe is incredibly friendly and has the best prices for every repair job. He's very fast, too. I took my vehicle in for the brakes (needed back rotors replaced) and it was less than $300! I'll definitely come again when I need anything done with my car.

Recently had AC repair fixed while traveling in Tampa from Virginia. The owner is great. Very clear communications; prompt service; and FAIR service. Okay, so it's been 2 weeks now, my car is running like it did when it was new! Before writing the review, I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to make certain all things were working without issue. Service was not only super helpful by phone, Joe got me in the next day. I drove from North Tampa area, its a long way w/ rotors that were sticking & brakes that were working, but not efficiently.He quickly ordered parts, sent back what he didn't use, handled things as they came & made sure I was getting the best professional information, while saving me time & money. It's convenient to have Armature Works so close. I got to work for a bit & have some coffee while I waited. It took him a couple of hours & I was literally out of there! I am still so pleased w/ the entirety of the service. I appreciate you!Service: Brakes

Great Service, I ve taken my car here on more than one occasion and have had an amazing experience every time. My A/C compressor broke a few days ago and my car was looked at and assessed quickly. I came back today and he installed a new compressor for the best price I could find. Very friendly, very fast, very professional. Highly recommend.

I was referred to Joe at Auto-Air Brake. I went by and met Joe and Bob did a diagnosis of my car's ac system. I needed a compressor , dryer and other parts. Joe gave me a great price but more importantly after talking with him I knew Joe and Bob are very skilled, knowledgeable and experienced mechanics and would do a great job. I set an appointment. I called the day before my appointment to confirm with them that I would be there and Joe told me my parts were already at his shop. I also had my drivers side low & high beam headlight out, my right blinker and my right fog lamp out and asked if they could replace the bulbs if I got the bulbs....sure no problem we can do it. To replace the bulbs in my car is no easy task a lot of parts removal to get to the bulbs to remove and then replace bulbs and re-assemble parts. I come to pick up my car and ask how much I owe and Joe is only charging me for ac system and I say what about the charge for replacing the bulbs and he refused to charge me and I even offered Bob some money for a good lunch he refused to take it. They both said if your happy bring you car back for any service or repairs needed in future and tell my friends about them. I'm very happy and will refer my friends for sure. I highly recommend Joe & Bob.

Joe and Bob are THE BEST! They are hard-working, honest, genuine guys who shoot straight and give you a very fair price. Never overcharged me. I've brought 2 of my cars here so far and I lean heavy on their expertise and advice. I recommend this place highly!

Wow! Honest, competent and nice. The best folks I have ever done business with. Joe, the owner, is a straight shooter with an amazing work ethic; can we clone these guys - kidding! I was getting ripped off by all the other shops - essentially pikers.. Not only was the price reasonable so was the service. Never ever I am going to another shop.Service: Brakes

Joe is an excellent mechanic. I have come to him many times for service on my F-150 and his work has been excellent. Although I live far I prefer to come to him knowing that the job is going to be done the first time. Again I repeat he is excellent. I highly recomend him.

I really recommend this place. Joe is a great mechanic knows what to do also his dad. I been a coustomer for 4 years. Prices are low and they are quick. They won't keep ur car for days. Same day service %. Highly recommend

These guys are excellent people with prices that are beyond reasonable. Joe immediately diagnosed a problem as soon as he took my wheel off, and was patient, professional and thorough in his work and explanations. I actually tried to give him a little extra money when I paid for the work he did, but he refused it, stating my business with him was more important - how many people do you know that are like this these days!? My car is braking better than before; this shop will be my go-to in the future

I have to say that these guys are the best mechanics I have ever done business with. They are very funny, friendly, honest, and reasonable in price. I have had my car worked on by them several times and they always go above and beyond. I have never had such wonderful experiences with any other mechanics and I am truly thankful that I found them. Honestly the best place to go for breaks. BETWEEN Joe and his father there is over 70+ years of experience and Joe has 40+. The best known hidden secret of Tampa Bay. An HONEST MECHANIC. This is the best auto air break and muffler shop in all of Tampa Bay because finding a honest mechanic is priceless and the hardest thing to find. I wouldn't go any other place then to Joe. He's truly a blessing and always gives the best advice. I would recommend this place to all your friends and family. Be well and take care everyone.

I had a wonderful experience at this auto repair service today.I called this afternoon and was told that they could repair my brakes right away.I was met by Joe who has a way of making every customer feel valued.My new brakes were installed quickly and at an honest, very reasonable price.I feel like I have found a place that I can trust as my go to car repair.Awesome place that I highly recommend!Service: Brakes

The best! Stopped by without an appointment to simply get a quote on fixing my ac. AC has been on/off again...lacking cold air. Went to 2 other places, who quoted me at least $800-1k.Joe and Bob, took a look, replaced a small part and it was good-to-go. Took them a total of 10 minutes or less. As for the cost...let s just say these guys are honest, and they have officially become my go-to car shop. Note: They also refused to take any money for time or labor.

I bought my truck in as the check engine light was on and it had a rough idle. They replaced a hose and told me to drive it for a week to make sure it was ok and come back in. One week later and the check engine light stayed off and it worked fine. I stopped back today to pay them and Joe would not accept any payment. This was my first time there and I will now always go back for any repairs and refer to friends. This shop is a true blessing!

Joe is THE BEST! He has years of experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles and he is honest and does his best to save you money. I have dropped off my car and seen people from Valrico driving all the way over to him because he's such a good mechanic. Highly recommend!!

A truly wonderful experience this place is. I had my muffler replaced and it was way cheaper than anything the bigger companies like Midas would charge. Plus it was super fast, and really cool to get to see work done on my car. But by far my favorite part, was the old school customer service. You just don't get this kind of customer service anymore. I felt more like family or a friend than an income source. The bigger companies could take a cue from these guys. Being as this is a mom and pop type of business and its wonderful customer service, they have earned a customer for life. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Second time that I use their service.I brought my Chrysler 300 for brakes and rotors. And I had a problem with my stearing wheel (was very hard to drive and to turn). The Chrysler dealer had asked me $3,000....they said I needed to change the electronic stearing wheel box.Joe fixed with $15. Very honest man, to incredible job!I highly recommend this place!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!They are ALWAYS willing to help me out whenever I'm having any car issues. They don't beat around the bush when it comes to things that need to be repaired. Most of all they are fair with their pricing and do not charge an arm and a leg for repairs. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new mechanic that they can actually TRUST!

Price-wise, best I've ran into. I got quotes from different auto shops around the area, these guys were the best. Let alone their great service and big smile. It's a family owned business, I'm not surprised.

This is an excellent shop. I drove up today with no appointment, had not been there before, with something loose underneath my car. These guys hoisted my car up immediately, fixed it right there in front of me (including removing some old rusted exhaust piping, which wasn't causing the problem, and then replacing it with new piping and welding it on the spot). They then did not charge me anything. I couldn't believe it. They insisted I pay nothing and just keep them in mind next time I need some service. I 100% recommend this place. They didn't hesitate for a second, they clearly know what they're doing, and they have been there over 20 years.

It s hard to find an honest and reliable mechanic, so I m glad I found this place. No price gouging, no services you don t need, no nonsense. I got great service at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a good mechanic.
