Dark, dingy rooms. This dump hasn't had a good decent cleaning in ages. Very poor Wi-Fi signals, so just resort to using your own mobile data. TV was in and out. Clean towels was like pulling teeth. Clean sheets were non-existent. Had to beg for bathroom tissue and plastic cups. Everytime I turned on the A/C, a blast of mold filled the room. I got to know the couple next door and found that they were paying a lot less money for their room, which was identical to mine. But the manager said I was mistaken! I could go on. I got the hell out of there as soon as I could. A truly terrible, and expensive experience. Never again. Stay away from this place.

We checked in and checked out 5 minutes later. The room was musky and had heavily smell of cigarette smoke.

We needed a place to stay and almost everything was booked except the $300+ hotels which we had not budgeted for. We took a chance on this one. It is a low end hotel but you can tell they are making an effort to keep it clean and staff is super nice. My pics are after our stay so beds aren't exactly made. The room had a stale cigarette smell but nothing air freshener didn't take care of. Beds were comfy but you can see the mattresses have some stains. Bathroom door needed replacement but bathroom itself was clean. Water temp and pressure were amazing. I appreciate the laminate flooring over carpet. We had a corner room which was very spacious.

FELT/GOT ROBBEDSo after booking this hotel through Expedia.. Upon arrival a few cars creeped behind my vehicle.. and stopped.. They sat there for around 30 seconds.. then pulled forward. I then jumped out and went to check in. It was only about 9pm but the actual lobby was "closed" and had the side window open. Went there, and no one was there at all.. I attempted to call the hotel.. NO ONE ANSWERED. I stood there for a minute.. and then the same two cars came up to that side of the hotel and just stopped behind me. I then went to my car.. left and pulled around the block to a parking lot. When there, I got on the phone with expedia and explained the situation. They then attempted to reach the hotel. They got no one to answer.. I was then advised to just get another hotel and a refund case would be filed with everything documented. They said it would be 72 hours and I would have a resolved case. It went two weeks without an update. I then contacted expedia.. and they said that in the 72 hours, the team attempted to contact/call the hotel and there was no response for several days straight.. and the case was closed with no resolve.. I just couldnt believe that they would do that.. so they reopened the case, and emailed the manager instead of just a phone call. They then FINALLY heard from someone, and the person who manages the hotel, rejected the refund offer. So.. I AM ON HERE TO TELL YOU PEOPLE.. THIS COULD BE YOU.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION.. OR THE PEOPLE STAYING THERE, OR RUNNING THE FACILITY ... WILL LITERALLY ROB YOU!!SINCERELY, FAIR WARNING

This was my 3rd time staying here. The first 2 times were fine, no complaints. I cannot say that about this last time. I have never been so disgusted and uncomfortable in a hotel/motel before. I had to switch rooms because it was just too unbearable and even that did not help because they were equally disgusting. The rooms were filthy and outdated. I had roaches, unclean bathrooms, sheets with cigarette burn wholes and nasty stains. The accent chairs were filthy and should've been thrown away a long time ago, the floors were dirty and in one of the rooms the AC was not working. My final room the AC was blowing out cigarette scented air. The noise outside was annoying, barbequing at 11 pm at night with loud talking. I didn't get any sleep for the 2 days I was there. Twice two workers pretty much barged in my room after knocking once and not listening for a response. Again, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. I will not be returning and I plan on contacting corporate because I need a refund. I wish I could upload pictures.

Room was FILTHY. Did our stay Request through Priceline. Reserved king bed, got 2 singles instead. Stand in shower was absolutely filthy. Bed sheets had cigarette burns. Horrible. We paid $100 for one night and it was disgusting.

The room was nice and clean and would give 5 stars based on the actual room. The only issue was the parking lot seemed to be a hangout area. People everywhere from morning until night. However, i just made sure my car stayed locked and enjoyed a safe, enjoyable stay.

Driving into the parking lot, I got nervous. Looks like it was built in the 50's! Manager was pleasant and helpful (even walked down to our room when we had difficulties with the card key. Nervously entered the room. Having read some of the negative reviews I was expecting the worst. I'm happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. The room was modern, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Linens were clean as was the sinks and bathroom. Television had all channels and reception was great. Shower water was HOT and there was plenty of it. No noise leaking in from neighboring rooms. Good night sleep. We stayed here (25 miles from Gainesville) to attend my sons graduation at UF. Prices in Gainesville were RIDICULOUS...$600/night! The price here was extremely reasonable...a little over $100/night.I definitely recommend this little hotel/motel for anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, cheap overnight stay.

The rooms was dirty and the a/c's was clogged up with dirt and dust and the curtains was laying on our bed and they told us they wouldn't blame us for it.Rooms: Just dirty and they was not what was on the review we read and probably won't be going back to stay there ever again.

I want to be honest. I don't know who is staying here. I booked this through Hotels.com and the building's photo doesn't even match what it looks like. I almost drove right by it, but in any event. I checked in, walked in the room, killed two roaches, saw two dead ones on the bathroom counter and turned around and left. The man at the front office gave me a refund without even blinking. I don't think I am the first person that this has happened to. He seemed like a nice person just a lousy motel. There seemed to be some pretty sketchy people in the area around the motel as well.

After reading other "decent, " reviews, we decided to stop here for the night on our way home to Virginia. Welp, after checking three rooms, we decided it was too late and we were too tired to make it to another exit, so we picked the best room of the ones we looked at. Cleanliness was the main issue with the first two rooms. Both either smelled like cigarettes, needed to be vacuumed, or were poorly lit near the door. The third room was decent, the shower was a bit patched up but it worked. The beds were clean, no bugs, and we showered with our sandals on. The woman at the front desk was friendly, and as for the cleaning staff....they either need more time to clean the rooms, or more supplies, or better training. I hope the management is aware of the condition the rooms are left in.

We stayed here due to hurricane Irma for a few days after we got tired of taking bucket baths at home. It's basically your two star hotel but because of their hospitality and helpfulness I give them a five. They were very willing to adjust our length of stay as needed plus or minus. The room was also as clean as could be expected from an older motel. Overall, great job guys!

If you like roaches your golden! Staff contacted me prior to check in and offered me an upgrade to a single bed jacuzzi suite because another customer needed 2 beds. Accepted the offer and gave up better accommodations closer to UF based on this upgrade. Arrived and did not get the upgrade. The room was hot, staff needed to fix ac unit. No phone in room to call desk. No complimentary conditioner, only shampoo. Roaches crawling on walls. Furniture and fridge were falling apart. Mattresses were horrible. Will not return! Do not bring kids! Seems to be a hangout on the patios. People outside all day and night.

We are in between houses right now. We usually stay at gold head state park and camp for 2 wks but we have to leave for 3 days so this was the cheapest hotel ($227)close to his work. It looks nice from the outside and so far the rooms are OK. I felt something biting me last night but didn't get up to look. My kids are enjoying the pool and the staff is nice. The beds are comfortable and room was clean with microwave and mini fridge. The staff is nice and she waived my pet fee. Now for the bad. Lots of drugs in this hotel. As I was checking in my 19yr old and my fiance saw two drugs deals go down. I reported them to the front desk and she said OK I'll tell their boss.. seriously?? That's all you will do. I'm in room 121 and a few doors down from me is a room full of crack heads. You can see their tracks on their arms. Besides all that, the pool has salt in it for some odd reason and very cloudy. I will be finding another hotel next time. I don't feel comfortable around drugs with my little ones.

The room was much more than expected. Very nice receptionist Chris. He was friendly and even let us check in early for the Football game. The room was clean and had comfortable beds. There is no breakfast but they do serve coffee all day in the lobby. The room is located near many restaurants. I recommend.

We stayed there on the extended plan and I have to say it wasn t bad. Paul was awesome he made friends with my family And treated them so well. There pet friendly also. The only thing we struggled with was parking spaces are tight for full size trucks. Nice rooms recently remodeled and clean.

Don t plan on going in the lobby at least during COVID times. We visited end of March 2021 and check in and check out was done through a window. The front desk staff were super friendly. This is a 1-story inn. The parking lot is not connected, we had to drive back out into the street to pull around to the other side. To visualize this, imagine a V with the check in window at the bottom point. We were pleasantly surprised at how amazingly clean the room was since this was a 2 star inn. We always check the beds before settling in just in case there are bugs and the mattresses passed our inspection, they were clean and bug free. On inspection our only initial concern was how much would the bedsheets shift during the night because it did not have fitted sheets, they were just sheets draped over. The bed had on top of the draped sheet another sheet, a soft fuzzy blanket, and another thicker blanket. Each bed 2 bed were doubles and had 3 pillows each. The pillows were a little harder than our liking. The bed was initially comfy but throughout the night was a little firm for us and we woke up with sore backs but we normally like soft beds so if you are a firm bed lover this is for you. The shower had good water pressure, it was clean, and it had hot water quickly available. Free toiletries in the room consisted of 2 mini shampoos and 2 bars of soap. The mini fridge was of decent size and kept everything ice cold, this was a surprise because often hotel fridges don t seem cold enough to us. This room had plenty of lighting. At first, I would have said it did not have enough lighting because initially all I could see were two lamps (one next to the door and the other on the corner of the room) that did not emit much light, however upon getting into bed I noticed two light switches, 1 next to each bed located in between them that lit up the whole room when turned on. These lights were embedded in the ceiling above each bed and due to them being flushed, I did not notice them at first. The lights were slightly awkwardly placed in that I felt the focus of the light was on the head of the bed. It was very quiet and no noise could be heard from others nearby. In the morning the curtains were well placed so that not much light came in. One thing to be aware of if you plan on sleeping in is that housekeeping comes around at 10 AM even though checkout is not until 11 AM. We did not notice any WiFi or at least was not given WiFi information on check in, this was not a problem for us since this was just a rest stop on a long drive but if you are planning to do things on internet you might call and check on that beforehand. This is a place we would stay at again due to its affordability and cleanliness. Due to the cleanliness, the water pressure, the quietness, the cold fridge, and the affordability I am giving this 5 stars in the consideration that we used it for a rest stop. I do not feel like the firm beds, early cleaning staff, or lack of WiFi warrants any stars being removed from this reviews score.

132 for a room (suite) with cigarette burns in the covers. Covers looks like they haven't been clean. Pillows have stains. No breakfast. We don't even have a key to our room because "it's broken" and the hotel manager has to let us in if we leave. On top of that the shower had bugs crawling all in it.

Always clean , the people are friendly and helpful. The pool is well maintained, children are welcome there , their safe to enjoy the pool being encouraged to play inside the fenced in area provided for their safety. The hotel is quite, and always feel welcome there.

It was a standard motel not the best in the area, but far from the worst! This visit I experienced no soap/shampoo/coffee in the room, but I bring my own anyway and the toilet paper roller was broken off, but everything during my previous stay there was perfect! Also falsely advertised breakfast (only coffee available).

We have stayed here a total of 6 different times in the last couple of years and it is always consistently clean and comfortable. Recently remodeled with no carpet floors. Definitely recommend!

Very nice people and they helped me with Hurricane Irma. They allow pets and don't over charge. Very clean rooms and I'm thankful for the room they provided me. Due to Hurricane Irma, we have no power until Sunday. A+ Hotel in my book!

Stayed here for 4 days. It's a nice and clean place. No issues with noise. Only thing I found was silver fish in the bathtub. If your staying here for davis express orientation they will offer you breakfast the night before. For guests there's no breakfast just coffee, but there's restaurants close by.

Was supposed to stay for two nights, but I woke up around 3am in the morning and I had bumps on my face and my bottom lip was swelling! I am not a person that has allergic reactions but with that being said when I was a kid i had a allergic reaction to bed bugs and guess what the same thing happened last night! Something inside told me I should not stay at this hotel, but I went against my better judgement! When I told the night clerk and she could obviously see something was not right my lower looked like it was about to explode. I never got a are you okay or a apology! I was calm about the whole thing because what s the use of getting up set! I will never stay at this hotel again! Not ever! My friend took a photo to show them and they said the did not find anything and that s because bed bugs hide in the light of day! You live and you learn! WARNING DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!

By far this the nicest place I ve stayed at. I ve stayed at 100 s of motels, Hotels that are 5 star, however this is not a Hilton or Gaylord resort, it is very clean, the nicest owners & staff members. It s not about how much you spend on a room or how extravagant places can be, it about how they make you feel. They treat you like family, they see to you re every need, fair prices, and the rooms are beautiful along with being spotless. We ARE PROUD to have this place in our town, the last America s Best Value Inn Murfreesboro, TN was by FAR the VERY WORST PLACE I HAVE SEEN. The rudest owners, bugs everywhere, I personally think they should be shut down by inspectors, how they still operate as a business, I will NEVER know. The only nice comment I read about that place was Expedia, they either got a kick back or a hidden room nobody knows about!! Please don t allow one place to discourage you from another, on my honor, Our town of Starke, has AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN!
