In an area where it is so difficult to get help when I need, it is so nice to know that Highlands Complete Auto is there to help me when I need help. In June last year, I bought a used truck. That truck needed service. I am glad I visited this shop. They told what it was wrong with the ruck and recommended solutions. They fixed everything the truck need it. They fixed right the first time! I thank you for your help. I know you will be there when I need you again! I am lucky they are located within reasonable driving distance from my house. I am sure they will be there to help me again when I need them.I wish I could say the same thing for the people involved in repairs of things that break in my house. I had taken my 2002 Wrangler to another mechanic in Sebring TWICE with literally nothing done the second time after having her for 4 days other than to suggest a fuel treatment. More than angry & exacerbated I took my chances on Highlands Complete Auto. Tim was absolutely wonderful & very knowledgeable and upfront about the possible problems and costs. After only having her a day and half I picked her up & she's running great. If I need auto work before leaving Sebring or if I were ever to return here I will return to Highlands Complete Auto.

I have no complaints !!!! Rich and his team was amazing at taking care of the mechanic side of my car which was not a easy or fast job that could be done. Tim well he was great because my anxiety level was out the roof with the warranty company which wasn't bad just heard horror stories But Tim never once had me second thinking and made sure I was informed on everything and always answered the phone and all my questions with no problem if you want a place to take your car I highly recommend.

This was a great place to get my oil changed. As part of the oil change there was a checklist they performed which showed I needed some minor things performed like tire pressure, windshield washer fluid, filters etc. Good service in a timely manner and an honest price - labor was only 15% of the total cost.

I had a water pump replaced and i'm very satisfied. I was treated courteously and professionally. The price was fair and I was kept informed of the progress. I will not only become a repeat customer for all service but I have recommended to a good friend.

Very thorough auto repair shop. They don't push phantom problems for future business. If there is a potential issue, it is documented with photos and included in a report. If you have questions about the report, they explain it well, without the sales push. Found about them through a friend, glad I did. By the way, I live 30 minutes away, so this is not the most convenient place for me, but I will definitely use them again. They are that good!

I had called Tim last week and made an appointment to bring my vehicle in this morning, I arrived and Tim took it in right away. I waited inside reading my newspaper and they completed the repair to my power window quickly and I was back on the road. Thank you, Job Well Done!

Honestly, I do not even know where to begin with this review because Rich & Kristen, the owners of Highlands Complete Auto, went above and beyond to fix the issue I was having with my car, which were sudden jerking movements when I attempted to accelerate with my car.Initially, I had an appointment scheduled with HCA due to not satisfied with the service I received from a different auto shop I went to with this issue and issue was not fixed. I did go ahead and cancel my appointment with HCA because I wanted to go back to the auto shop who somewhat fixed the issue because I wanted to give them a second chance. But I am glad I did not go back.When I called HCA to cancel my appointment, Kristen still showed concern as to why I wanted to cancel and made sure I was in a position to still use my vehicle in a safe condition. At this point, I was just stressed about my car and I did not know what to do anymore. I KNEW something was wrong with my car but the issues were not being addressed. I drove my car to work the next day, and Kristen had two employees come and pick up my car 20 minutes from their shop to my job. I mean 20 minutes from their shop to my job!!!!!!!!After my car got to the shop, Rich diagnosed my car and texted me a full inspection report of my vehicle, color coded for issues that were urgent, caution against, and passed and instantly figured out why my car was not driving smoothly. My valve cover gasket needed to be changed and causing oil to spill to hit the ignition coils.I wish I would have went to HCA first before wasting my time with non-certified mechanics who did not care to take the extra effort to fix a issue that was causing other issues. HCA is up-front with their price, and they don't guess. I am truly grateful to Highlands Complete Auto for their stellar customer service and always being honest!

This shop is a mixed bag. I came in for a suspected brake issue, but it turned out to be a piece of bent metal causing the noise. They alerted me to a worn out ball joint, which tracked because I heard the popping on tight turns so I went ahead and had them fix that since the price was within normal range($580).They also alerted me to the control arms needing to be replaced as soon as possible and quoted $1700 on the job, which is well beyond average. They also said the rack and pinion needed replacing as well with a quote around $1300. Since the price was high and I caught a sales pitchy vibe, I got a second opinion. I did not mention anything to the new shop, only stated I wanted a bumper to bumper inspection. The new shop said while there was some wear with the control arms, it was not an urgent issue. He also quoted something like $700 to replace them. He also said the rack and pinions were in even better shape. So overall I would say use your best judgment They didn't lie or anything, just exaggerated the urgency of repairs and gave an expensive quote. They were honest about the brakes and gave a fair price on the ball joint replacement.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

Amazing work is done here! I honestly thought my SUV would never drive again and I was to the point of junking it. Highlands Complete Auto Repair proved me wrong and Im so happy they did. All other businesses would not touch or fix my fuel line because of it being a liability! Well, Highlands Complete Auto is insured and are capable of doing such job. I had a lot done on my SUV and they managed to get it done in a timely manner. Im just so excited to now have a perminate auto repair shop that is honest and doesnt tell you what needs done just to make some money. They are honest and do what needs to be done without all the extra costs of things that may not need to be done.

Moving from NY to FL can be a task. Especially when you need to find a new place to fins for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Please look no further if you are looking for a place.They were able to fit my Vehicle in and were able to find and fix the issue. What really impressed me was the care they took Especially letting me know they wanted to find the right part because previous replacement parts didn't work well for other vehicles.They were professional and the price was great. I've gone to Highlands Complete Auto for EVERYTHING! They took great care of my mom's vehicle & my own. I purchased a no good car, from a no good car dealer. Rich was very honest with me about the many problems he saw from the beginning. He never attempted to "gas light me" with a bunch on monetary needs.(as other places DID). I still tried to keep that car as long as I could; Rich continued to help keep it going! At the most reasonable price. He replaced everything the car needed DILIGENTLY. That "no good car" lasted years! And I definitely thank this auto shop for it lasting so long! I now have a new car & won't take it anywhere else! I have taken several different vehicles to highlands complete auto. Every time they let me know what needs to be addressed in order of severity in regards to my budget and never try to sell me on unnecessary repairs. They test everything so when the repair is completed I don't end up having surprise costs or additional needed repairs. I highly recommend highlands complete auto to anyone needing vehicle repairs or basic services. Incredible work, incredible speed. Fair price. My Dodge Sprinter broke down while visiting family in FL a couple weeks ago. It can be a challenging vehicle to repair that I have had many decline to work on. I called, the next day had it towed to their shop. Knowing I was limited on time in the state, they had it fixed in less than 24 hours. They exceeded my expectations and I got home with no trouble - and the van continues to do perfectly. Highlands Complete Auto did a complete inspection of my 1999 dodge Dakota. They discovered issues that needed addressed. They also recommended repairs on other items that should be addressed when I was able. They completed all issues that were discovered in a timely manner and at an affordable price. I can't recommend Highlands Complete Auto enough. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. They are fairly priced, extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled mechanics. They went above and beyond for me after another local mechanic was unable to do the job. My vehicle is running like it's new again thanks to them!

This was one time Google reviews paid off!!! The staff is amazing and efficent! Very professional. Kristen is on top of her game. They made sure I knew EXACTLY what was going on with my car every step of the way. I was glad to schedule my next appointment to have everything repaired in 2 weeks that I didn't have time for today. I've never trusted an auto shop as much as I do this one after just 1 visit. Considering I grew up with 9 uncles who were mechanics. This will be my highlands complete auto stop for everything. I have been getting my cars serviced at Highlands Complete Auto for three years. Being a single woman, it was important to me to find a garage that would give me honest service and explain the need for that service in a straight forward manner. HCA is the place from the intake of your car right through to the time you take it home, they are there for you giving you the information you need to make informed decisions. And most importantly, they are there after the service and stand behind their work. I found Highlands Complete Auto through a warranty program after a previous mechanic did some shoddy work and caused all kinds of damage as a result. I was devastated when my car leaked all the oil out but I called Highlands Complete Auto and even the wrecker guy told me I had picked the right place. The team there is so amazing and they took the time to explain everything to me that needed to be done. They sent a link with everything they found when they did a thorough diagnostic inspection and they sent me detailed notes about everything the previous shop screwed up. They kept me in the loop at every step and I am so appreciative. As a woman, I hate to have car trouble because I expect for the shop to try to take advantage and not do what they say while taking my money (like the previous shop did), but I didn t have that experience with them. I felt safe and protected and they fought as hard as I did to make the previous shop cover the damage to my car. They were honest, professional and timely. I have tried other repair shops in Highlands County but the experience doesn t come close so if I ever have any issues I m coming back without hesitation!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Being a native of Miami, Florida, I am always worried about getting poor quality work, or getting scammed. I checked Highlands Complete Auto's ratings and I was skeptic about all the 5 star reviews, but I decided I should give it a chance. Let me tell you something: You don't need to look anywhere else, these good people are the real deal!1. Their diagnostics are top notch and they won't try to mechanic-speak you into anything. They send you a link that shows you a clear diagnostic breakdown of everything they find that is clear and easy to understand. They even color code it!! Green for good, yellow for 'keep an eye out for this, or get it fixed now if you want' and red for 'this is a big problem, we suggest you should fix it now or at least ASAP!'2. I was worried about how I would get home from there, I live out in the middle of nowhere! They offer shuttle service both to and from their shop. No extra charge! They truly know how to make customers feel appreciated.3. I was worried because I needed to go to a few places while my car would be in the shop. Thankfully, they have an excellent deal for their customers with Enterprise Rental for way cheaper than even Enterprise's cheapest economy car rental on the Enterprise website.4. I was getting a bunch of stuff done, including some major engine repairs, so I assumed I would be out for a week. They called me by noon the following day to come pick it up!! I was so stunned at how fast that was!5. I was worried I wouldn't be able to afford all the things I wanted to get done. The price seems about on par with the other shops in the area as far as the major services went, with a few exceptions that were surprisingly cheaper! The biggest price difference that was a real stunner was the oil change: It was roughly HALF the price of where I used to go for the exact same service and synthetic oil. So here is more good news: They have a good thing going with a credit card agency that can give you a chance to break up a large bill into a monthly payment, if you have reasonable credit. Even better was, they let me split the bill between two different credit cards so I could afford everything easily.These good people are real professionals, and the quality of their service shows it. My car is now happily purring like a kitten, and everything is working fine. I'd like to personally thank Kristen for all her help, and for really making me feel like she cared for me as a valuable customer, and as a fellow human being. Thank you! Did an oil change which was acceptable. I was told I needed a brake job on front and back. Took my car to my brother-in-law in Jacksonville who is a professional mechanic My brakes were fine and I can probably get another 30,000 miles with them. And they wanted $1,000 for the brake job.
