DO NOT BRING YOUR GENERATORS TO THIS SHOPTHEY ARE ON CUMMINS SITE BUT ARE HORRIBLEThis place sucksBought two Onan RV Gensets and brought them here to get them checked out. Told there were no issues and they produced power. Sent them out of state to a builder for a custom vehicle and both gensets are trash. Apparently the attached is a good running genset according to them.Wasted a lot of time and money to probably have both gensets sit in the garage and not be touched

First, I don t understand some of these negative comments as we have been dealing with them for a few years now. As far as not returning calls-it is their own business and are entitled to take time off. We have always received a return call! Our first RV ended up needing a new generator, which Gene and Hunter had it installed within a few hours. We were just getting ready to sell it and then that happened. Our second Rv was having an issue and we had another business that said they fix generators, tell us it was a crack in the intake manifold. Being the skeptical person I am, I called Gene. We were on our way to Orlando and that s where Hunter is based out of. Hunter had to deal with the Florida sun in June, the afternoon rains with humidity to follow but he fixed our generator (no cracks in the manifold or intake) it needed a carburetor. Hunter definitely went above and beyond for us. He did much so much more than what I can mention here but I will let you know he knows a lot about sound systems/back up cameras etc. They are the only people we will take our Rv/generator to.

Very knowledgeable, had the parts. Gene diagnosed the fuel issue, changed out the fuel pump and we were on our way in 45 minutes.

Over a year and about $6000 yet these chuckle heads still have not fixed my engine and multiple months since they have returned my calls to lie to me about showing up to repair it. I do not understand how they are still in business. For more details feel free to read our conversation via the Better Business Bureau website. Recently had another mechanic take the engine apart to show me the work they claimed to but didn't do. I took plenty of pictures and kept the evidence so our court case should be an easy win.

BE AWARE . I brought my rv there for service because I was referred there by Gauthiers rv repair. I called gulf coast and they said bring it in. I told them I believe it was the brushes and slip rings and they said we will diagnose it. 3 hours later they said we figured it out. Your carburetor is shot and your valves are out of adjustment. I am shocked ok I said, how much. 6 hundred and something. I said ok, i doesn t sound right to me but if your sure fix it. The replied we do this all the time and we will have it back to you likely by the end of the day. Two days later they inform me that was not the fix. Now they say it is internal generator repair which is what I originally told them I thought. So now my generator is sitting outside uncovered in a parking lot all through hurricane and rain season for months. Yes months .I finally get it back and the generator is nightmare to start. You now have to hold throttle linkage open till it starts and it takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes to get it up and running. Once it s running it no longer has the power to run the a/c unit or a vacuum cleaner. It will only power small things like tv, phone chargers etc. I had Kasey Gauthiers come out to the house from Gauthiers rv repair to look at air conditioner and he said we can replace fan motor. So I said I gotta have a/c in Florida so let s do it. We did and still, generator won t pull it. It has been over a month now and gulf coast power will not answer my calls or return my messages this was a very expensive lesson for me. I will now have to replace the whole generator through my insurance and pay that deductible as well as all the other work that was useless. And I will be going somewhere reputable like lazy days where I wish so badly I would ve gone. Look at the rating for this place. I wish I would ve. They got me, don t let them add you to their list of unhappy customers. Ps, I did not even mention the bent metal frame on bedroom screen window. Not sure what reason they were in bedroom, also all the scratches that run the full length of the rv on passenger side.

Stay Away! Scammers. Took my generator away to their office, ran when they took it. Just not well. 2 years later, called police and insurance to get them to bring it back. They (Gene and the other idiot) Lied every time when called of what was going on and the processes they were doing. Stalling with different stories, big hopes, we are sending it to Kohler, getting it ready for shipping, then we are rebuilding it, you get the drift, just a few more weeks, etc. Now it does not run. Total Frankenstein, missing an extreme amount of parts. After they brought the generator (Kohler 5E, 5kW Marine Gas Generator 60 Hz) back a few weeks later the marina reported to me they snuck back in and removed parts. WFT. Hope they go out of business soon, so no one else gets toasted by these guys. Should not even get a star. Affair Warning!

Avoid-7 mths for a small diesel engine rebuild, after reinstall mechanics came back 5 times to complete wiring before admitting they couldn t figure it out, then left. Engine was not properly aligned and was missing parts after installation. Would not recommend nor ever use again.

STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS .Although this company is listed as a trusted referral on the Onan Generator site this company is incredibly unprofessional and hasn't a clue about customer service or how to fix Onan Generators. First of all they never showed up when then said they would, no call nothing just arrived two days later. Originally i had reported two problems, Surging and it would not stay running unless you held down the start button. The technician said that it probably needed a new circuit board and that the surging was just an adjustment. They said that the total would be 514. They were not going to give me anything in writing, but i insisted finally i got an invoice emailed to me that detailed what they were going to do .including the surging. Well the long and short of it is that they wanted all the money upfront which i declined to do I told them I would pay for the board and the labor to put it in first. Again, they were a couple of days late, was told the tech would get to me on his way home When they finally came, they replaced the board then he came back 3 times and could not seem to fix the surging he complained that the generator was hot so he couldn't get in easily to adjust it. Then when i called to complain that it was still not fixed after 2 weeks went by, they accused me of being a customer they could not seem to satisfy and that I had added the surging on afterwards. I could not believe the way I was treated .I was basically called a liar and ended up having a really heated discussion on the phone with a guy named "don" ..They obviously could not fix the surging or they had diagnosed it wrong and decided to lie their way out of it. I am soooooo glad i did not pay the whole thing up front.

I just stopped by today to ask a question about a generator voltage regulator and they gave me a lot of good information without trying to sell me anything. I was very impressed to say the least. I'll be back if and when I need parts and/or service.
