I brought my 02 Corvette to Corvettes West, a few days ago as the left flip up headlight was malfunctioning. I met with Tommy, the owner, and asked him to do what necessary to fix it. I also asked that the oil be changed. Tommy was very polite and accommodating Two days later I received a call that the car was done. When I got there, they told me they adjusted the headlight without having to replace anything and said the oil was very clean and did not need to be changed. They charged me nothing. The headlight is now operating correctly. I very much appreciated their honesty and the fact that they gave me a break when I would have been happy to pay for the service. I will use them exclusively in the future.

I purchased a brand new 2022 Ford F150 from Sarasota Ford. It had a few scratches that needed to be fixed before we took delivery. So Ford sent it to Corvettes West. Big mistake!! They totally butchered the paint. Looked like they buffed it with sandpaper. They scratched one of the fog lights, put a ding in the front quarter panel and got drops of paint on the hood. JP, who works there, is a joke and a liar. He claimed they do "Lamborghini" type work. That was far from the truth. My truck had to be professionally paint corrected by another company because of them. No apologies or anything from them. Unless you like the sandpaper swirl look in your paint stay away from this joke of a company.Service: Painting

A month ago the back window of my 2002 Corvette convertible was coming loose and falling down after 20 years. I went to 7 dealers here in Sarasota and everyone of them told me I needed to get a new convertible top. The CHEAPEST price was $1800 plus tax!!! I found CORVETTES WEST on Google and stopped by there (5 minutes from where I live) and the owner Tommy simply took the old one out and replaced it with a new one and it looks PERFECT. And he only charged $350!! I'll be taking my car to him from now on. Very nice guy!Service: Body & Trim

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! JP and the owner Tommy run the most dishonest body shop I have ever known. JP seems to run the place; he saw me coming...told me they could not begin the work until it was fully paid. He then told me to pick up the car on a Friday, no earlier than 5:pm, then JP proceeded to leave and tell me my car would be brought from the back momentarily. When I walked out and looked at the horrendous job they had done, I tried to come back in and address these problems, however since it was already 5:pm they locked their doors and I could not return until they reopened on Monday. When I came back on Monday, JP was nowhere to be found and the owner, Tommy, simply said it was JP's job and he had no opinion about it and proceeded to walk away. Those 2 men took me for $2850 and performed a job that could have been done blindly for $100. Be very careful specially if you are a female. They are a sorry excuse for human beings. As JP told me later on the phone, he is a "business man" and this is how he does business!!!What a shameful couple of thieves!!!Service: Body & Trim

The owner talked me into installing roller lifters and rocker arms on my matching numbers L-76 65' Vette. Said it would improve performance. The problem is his mechanic forgot to install the horizontal locking bars on the roller lifters which caused them to turn sideways, so instead of the pushrods 'rolling' over the lifters, they were literally crashing sideways against them which caused the pushrods to extend higher causing them to skip off the 'wheels' of the roller rockers and literally start crashing into the underneath side of the rocker arms themselves. Metal bits went everywhere and within 200 miles my engine had been completely DESTROYED, as verified by 3 different NASCAR certified mechanics when the engine was torn down. I provided over 60 photographs documenting the issue which was a total waste of time. Tommy Moeller did absolutely NOTHING to help resolve the issue, rather he just blamed the problem on my engine being "old and tired" which was absolute BS.... His mechanic, as previously stated, did NOT install the locking arms on the roller lifters. I wouldn't let that dishonest azzhole change a spark plug in a lawn mower. I only wish the check I'd written him and for whatever reason he never deposited before I closed that account when I moved to TN had been written for ten times the amount. DO NOT TRUST YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE.

I would never recommend another shop to ANYONE! I recently bought a 2013 535i BMW, another driver hit me soon after I bought the car. I took my car a few places for estimates, Eldridge being one of them. The gentleman that looked over my car was extremely rude and didnt seem to care about my concerns for my new car or want to give me the time of day. A friend referred me to Corvettes West, and Im glad he did. From day one I felt welcomed. Tommy the owner was very pleasant as well as Keith and JP. They made the entire process painless and even put up with me calling every other day for updates with a smile. I was extremely skeptical on car repair shops, Ive always been told that they rip you off and you have to pay an arm and a leg for decent work. Not the case with Corvettes West! My car is more perfect than before the accident (they fixed a few other things that werent caused from the accident). They detailed the inside before I picked it up and even waxed the outside for me. Hands down the best experience Ive had in a long time with customer service. A+ to the crew at Corvettes West. They will be the only shop I recommend.

I had absolutely the best experience at Corvettes west. I took my 2008 BMW in for some insurance repair, water damage, and they were an absolute dream to work with. Repairs included bodywork, paint matching, and diagnostic work as well as reattaching sensors and fog lamps. Yes, they do engine and body work in one place!JP and the entire staff were very friendly and courteous. They communicated well throughout the process and returned my car to me very quickly. Not to mention, my car was washed inside and out clean as a whistle when I got it back!Thank you to the entire staff at Corvettes west!

Beware! This place is a massive scam! Will be reporting to the BBB. Had a fender bender and our dealership had the car go to them for repair. They said they would only accept CASH. We paid cash directly to Corvettes West and now the dealership is calling us saying this business is claiming we never paid. It s a real good thing we insisted on a paid in full receipt on their company letterhead. Lying, cheating business. Avoid at all costs!

I have to say these guys fought tooth and nail against the insurance company to make sure OE parts got back on my beautiful 18 SS Camaro Redline and after many phone calls and excellent updates we were able to work together to get my car back to better than when she rolled off the show room. The car came back 100% paint corrected and fully detailed. I couldn't be happier. Special thanks to Tommy Moller and J.P. for the sticking with me on the horrible Insurance battle.

Horrible experience, they are rude, told me to leave, price seemed expensive I asked for a estimate PJ didn't want to because he didn't want me to shop around they don't usually give estimates if you pay cash, they where going to charge me 17 hours labor took it somewhere else 8 hours of labor. Beware owner is just as bad as the employees. They tried overcharging me on towing and storage as well.

I am sorry I can't give these guys 6 stars! Other than their calling our '05 Cadillac XLR a "Corvette wannabe." Ha. Seriously, Randy worked solidly to help me with a shock replacement problem. Some Vettes and all XLR's have magnetic shocks. Dealer quoted $4,476. Randy and his shop were willing to experiment with a work-around utilizing Corvette shocks and Caspers simulators which has worked on Vettes. And it worked on the XLR! These guys could not have been more patient and accommodating. And especially considering this is not simple, go-by-the-book mechanics, their pricing is extremely reasonable.

I dont know anyone who would leave a bad comment, their work is great and the price is fair. Ive been going to them for about 20 years and my entire family goes there. Never an issue and they worked with me through many special requests.
