Excellent service from start to completion of this personal project. Very professional and quality job performed. After checking the hydraulic rams in my Porsche 997 C2S (due to a intermittent failure to open/close the soft-top), realized big leaks of oil from seals and end connectors, so decided to rebuilt the rams instead of the replacement option with new OEM parts which are very expensive. So, following its detailed instructions for removal an installation I decided to do it by myself as DIY project. I sent both hydraulic cylinders and their performed an excellent job. I received the rebuilt parts very fast. The package with the parts not only included the rebuilt cylinders/pistons, but also a set of copper washers/seals for the banjo connectors, a bottle of the correct hydraulic oil for refill and the cylinders were already refilled and sealed and pre-positioned for an easier and quicker installation. Also they included a detailed instruction and tips to follow. One important thing to mention is that Cab-Hyd rebuilding includes to replace ALL seals (both end connectors and piston's seals of each ram) and also cleaned and purged the hoses to assure smooth and nice operation. The rebuilt received looks of high quality and they back up it with a 3 years warranty. I just re-installed them, again, following ZIG's instructions and the soft-top is now working as it should. The communication is fast either by email or phone, so I highly recommend this company to work with if you have problems with your hydraulic cylinders or either the pump. Just give them a call, and you will save a huge amount of money.

Zig & crew are THE BEST! We have been sending convertible top cylinders and pumps to them for years and have received phenomenal service EVERY time. We couldn't be more pleased with their services & our customers couldn't be more pleased with the savings on repairs! Besides that, when you get the repaired parts back they look like new!

Knowledgeable and fast service. Replaced both hydraulic cylinders and main pump. The top has never worked so well. Zig and his staff are fast and very capable. Total job was about $1400. Highly recommended

I bought 4 couplers and 4 feet of hose. It came to $226 usd including shipping. It turned out to be a mistake. They were very expensive and would not stay sealed. Total waste of time and money. As a person that has made a living working on cars for over twenty years I knew when I boughtthe couplers and hose this was not a proper repair, but it was on my own personal car so I took a shot thinking it may save a lot of time. They would be sealed and a few months later they would leak.The picture was just represent what I had bought.As the owner of Cabriolet Hydraulics pointed out the couplers in the picture are not tight. This is correct. They were loosed during the front latch ram removal and not re-righted for the picture.The owner is also correct, I could have reached out. I did not because I did not expect them to refund my money. I expected they would blame the failure on the installation.Like the cap on a bottle water when you tighten it and a month later it starts to leak, not once but twice, do you think you didn't tighten it properly or do think maybe there is a problem with the cap or bottle?I think a more accurate analogy would be using a union and hose clamps to fix a leak in a garden hose. It doesn't belong there so if the union won't stop leaking, who's fault is it?To top off the hydraulic fluid in a Mercedes SLK 350 is a big job. So my review is one star.I regret I bought a poor pruduct.

There is a reason these guys are all 5 star reviews. Excellent product, superb staff (Zig knows his $h*t). 03 SL500 needed a hyd. line in roof repaired. 2 couplers and 12" of line. Job done one hour start to finish and saved me big money. Thanks Guys, Barry Feltmann.

My '09 Carrera S Cabrio had leaky actuators. The good local shop wanted $2,500 to repair with refurbished actuators, heaven forbid what the dealer would charge. My son and I decided to dive in and do it ourselves. We got about 5 hours of wonderful bonding time between the removal and replacement and it was definitely challenging but fun. My ONLY critique is that I have a 997.2 and the hydraulic pump in my car was quite different than that in the installation instructions so we needed to figure a lot out on our own. But we saved about 2 grand and everything worked perfectly.

I am the owner of a upholstery shop in Tampa that also repairs convertible top operation repairs. We have used several other shops for hydraulic rebuilds and we have even done them ourselves. After seeing the work Zig and crew do, haven't looked back in 7 years. They are quick, helpful and fair priced. Highly Recommended!

We ordered a 2mm hydrolic line for a 2011 mitsubishi eclipse that was no longer in production. They took the order, made the line and shipped it the same day, and for a very reasonable price!! We had the part two days later, and we live in canada. Thank you very much from Walter and Lena Crossan. Customer service and everyone we dealt with were fantastic. You guys are awesome!!! Hard to find businesses that care these days like you do!!!

Sent my cylinder latch in for my 2009 SLK and before I could get it off my car it seem, these guys had it back to me. Never have I seen a company with every review given is a 5 start. Well it doesn't change with me. They get 5 stars only because that is the highest they offer. Serious note, they call me and informed me that my cylinder was ready and I thought that they had not yet received it. These guys are the truth.Thanks for your great service and quick response

I did a DIY replacement of the hydraulic cylinders on my 99 Porsche Cab recently. I was "inspired" to do so in part because of the excellent 'how-to-remove' directions Cabriolet Hydraulics provides on their web site. The cylinders came out as planned, got shipped off to them and were rebuilt/back within the promised turnaround time. The installation directions and extra washers, fluid, etc. were all great. Great work by them with a great warranty.

Excellent service from beginning to end! Excellent instructions were provided for removal of old hydraulic cylinders, and installation of the rebuilds. And the rebuilds for my 2000 Porsche 996 Cab are working perfectly. This is the company to work with if you have problems with your hydraulic cylinders.

My name is Kevin and I own a 2007 Mercedes Benz SL550. My retractable roof stopped working, after during some research on my car's problem I came across Cabriolet Hydraulics, so I called and spoke with the owner, he told me he knew exactly what was wrong and to bring my car to his shop, I was reluctant because this car is my baby and I only drive it on special occasions, but taking my car to Cabriolet Hydraulics was the best decision that I ever made, because these guys really know what they are doing and to add to there excellence there customer service and politeness is impeccable. We've been doing business with Cabriolet Hydraulics for many years and been very happy with the service we've received. Over the Christmas holiday they really went above and beyond. We needed a part shipped out on the Friday before Christmas so that we could receive it the next business morning. Not only did they have that part in stock but they were able to get it shipped at the last minute which was a huge relief for us. Of course the part that arrived was exactly what we needed, but UPS dropped the ball and missed their guarantee by 5 hours. Cabriolet Hydraulics stepped in (without prompting) and refunded us the shipping even though it wasn't their fault. Can't say enough good things about these great folks!

These guys ROCK. I initially bought some rams for my 997 from some other guy. Price after return of core was $650. Cabriolet Hydraulics $500 and they not only send you the Rams, they include the brass washers so you have new ones and they send the rams filled with oil and they send you extra oil!!! Oh and instructions... a 3 year warranty! Yes a 3 year warranty! I changed them myself with their instruction in less then 2 hours. I cant say enough good things. Saved almost $2000 over new ones and paying my mechanic to install them!

I could not be happier with this company. I have a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder that has had issues with its top since day one. Once the warranty was up, taking it to the dealer was not an option as I have seen blogs where people paid over $20,000.00 to have their tops fixed. After much time and anguish I found the problem to be a leaking cylinder on the drivers side. After removing the entire top (14 hour job) I find out that Lamborghini only sells the cylinders as a set...a $7000,00 set! I did a Google search and found Cabriolet Hydraulics. Within 5 days my cylinder was shipped out, rebuilt and returned. Not only that, it came with explicit instructions on how to re install it along with the proper o-rings and even a tool to put the clips on properly!!! I now have a very happy and functional Lamborghini Spyder : ) These guys saved me TONS of money and I will absolutely be dealing with them again.

I must say this is the mot exceptional customer service I have yet to receive. Other shops wanted to charge me $2,500... shopped around for awhile and finally came across Zig's shop. He was able to fix the issue within 10 mins and did the job for FREE!! PS: Any other shops would just take your money.Thank you for your help Zig!

Awesome place to get high quailty either new or rebuilt convertable hydraulic parts that are not avalible anywhere else. Great customer service and quick turn around on rebuilds. Difficult to install parts come with clear installation instructions. They are my first call for convertible hydraulic parts.
