Had to have my transmission replaced. Shopped around and asked around and Mr. Transmission came highly recommended, so I gave them a call. They were very thorough in explaining everything to me and was very fair with their prices. I will recommend them to anyone in need of transmission work.

Would absolutely recommend. We unfortunately purchased a used vehicle from a local dealership with many underlying issues. Mr. Transmission got us in quickly & priced all the repairs fairly. They were extremely patient even when a family member of mine called to double check all the details of repairs. Took very good care of us, we ll be repeat customers for sure.

GET A SECOND OPINION (LADIES)I brought my Camry in because the RPM's were revving high in between gears and I'd have to back off the gas pedal to let it switch. I brought it in Mr Transmission and after a couple days the owner (I assume) called to give me bad news. They couldn't figure out what was wrong but he thought it was something breaking apart in the Transmission and would need to be rebuilt. $5,700 is what I was quoted but he assured me it would be guaranteed if it needed further maintenance.I was crushed because it's 9 years old and only had 60,000 miles on it. So I told him to go ahead and get started but I thought it through over that weekend and decided not to put so much money into a used car and just trade it in for a loss. Thankfully he hadn't started working on it yet so they let me pick it up the following Monday for no charge.I ended up taking my car to the Toyota dealer just to see if they told me the same thing and if so, sell it back to them if possible. Turns out all that was wrong with it was it was low on Transmission fluid. Only cost me $300 out the door.I don't want to believe this shop intended to fleece me of such a substantial amount of money because I am a naive woman but I'll let you make your own decisions.GET A SECOND OPINIONUpdated 3/26/24In regards to the response from the owner, the very words out of the Toyota technicians mouth were "Why didn't they (Mr Transmission) check that (fluid) first?"They also told me to drive the car for a few days and bring it back if the fluid change and fill didn't work. It's been over 2 weeks with no issues. Drives like new. They said 90% of the time that's all it needed.Also, how did they (MT) find all the issues stated in their response if they had only taken off the top of the transmission and unhooked the battery by the time I changed my mind?Yeah. Get a second opinion.

Great customer service! They rebuilt the transmission on my van and it s running great. The owner is always around to assist the customer and the staff is attentive and friendly. If you re reading this you probably have an expensive problem with your car/truck, that s unavoidable at this point but the service and guidance they ll provide here will make a difference to the way you pass this inconvenience, Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I brought a mustang here with transmission problems.. just to get it back after the first time and seeing an OD light flash after three rebuilds it cost them too much money to fix the problem so they took the warranty off the last unit.. never made it to 6mnth 5,000 mi warranty. The owner kept stating it were other problems after I diagnosed it I told him a shift solenoid d and another code came up they never fixed the issue.. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. All 5star reviews are ex workers or friends of his!! BEWARE!

WORST transmission shop in Pensacola had my transmission rebuilt had to take it back FOUR times for them to get it right had to get towed off the side of the road once of course out of my own pocket had to take it back for shift solenoids and transmission leaking fluid and of course I m still having shift solenoid problems called a month ago and tried to see if my warranty was still good said he would call back tomorrow they were about to close haven t heard anything and they blocked my number do not take your truck here 3,000 dollars for a transmission that doesn t even work

I brought my jeep into Mr. Transmission after I noticed it was not changing gears correctly. They had an assessment completed within a day. I called around to a few other shops and discovered that Mr. Transmission's price was very competitive. I was particularly impressed that he had my vehicle fixed within a week of dropping it off. This is compared to the dealership which was booked out for 3 months. I ultimately had to warranty a faulty part they installed and am thankful to report that they stood by their warranty no questions asked. They ensured my transmission was fix and running like new. I'm very satisfied with their repair work, price, and how quickly they had it completed. Highly recommended.

The team here at MR. Transmission were very professional, helpful, and kind. They were timely on servicing my Cadillac XLR and even provided me with addition information on other mechanical this I should check out for the car. tried to rebuild my whole transmission with less than 94k on it when i asked how much to ship in a torque converter , then lied about problems with it having burnt fluid and metal shavings even though i just did a complete flush , seems like they ll lie just to try to jack the price up

Called to ask about a previous rebuild on a vehicle we purchased. Transmission had minimal miles on it since it had only been 2 years, and it wasn't a daily driver , basically a Home Depot run truck 5 miles down the road. No warranty on work since it had been transferred to a new owner( understandable) but , guy was rude and ultimately told me it could be a number of things, including the flywheel. I'm no mechanic but I have swapped Transmissions before and the sole purpose of the flywheel is for the starter to engage and start the vehicle, nothing to do with the transmission. Ultimately chose another local shop and had it back in a week. 10/10 would not recommend solely on customer service.

Can't say enough about Mr. AJ and crew at Mr. Transmission. Two day turn around with remanned transmission. A week later an unrelated breakdown, (front 4wd transfer case problem) and they repaired at no charge. WOW!!!!! Thank you Mr. Transmission crew and Mr. AJ for the kind and professional service. I would certainly recommend this establishment for any repair services thy offer.

I brought our Lincoln MKC in for a transmission evaluation after the dealer wanted to replace it with a new transmission that was greater than the worth of the car. I asked AJ and his team to evaluate it and the they said it could be repaired for about $3,000 less than the dealer had quoted.We hd purchased the car new and the transmission was never quite really smooth.AJ and his team rebuilt it in late December, about 5,000 miles ago. Since then, the transmission has performed flawlessly. I asked AJ why it is better than when the car was new. He said it had the upgrades that have been released.It is really rare to find an auto repair service this qualified that does such great work.Highly recommended!Service: Transmission

I Highly recommend Mr. Transmission!!!!They're honest and will do everything within their power to not only fix the problem but save you money while doing so. I've taken 2 vehicles to them now, they got our work van fixed and out the door in 2 days, and saved me alot compared to the 1st estimate I was given for the Transmission. They KNOW their transmissions, and they dont mind explaining the things i didnt understand which was greatly appreciated.They also fixed my car, and saved me a ton on that one, I can't thank them enough.They are my 1st call from here on out!!!!Thank you so much Mr. Transmission

I took my Range Rover truck to Mr Transmission so I could get it checked. They were right on it from the start! Within an hour or two I was contacted and told that it was not a transmission problem but appeared to possibly be a software issue. They did not charge me a dime!!! He was fair and honest.
