William (Manager) was extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful with tips. This is by far the best experience that I have received in any Valvoline visit I have completed in the last 5 years. Will return to this location every time I need an oil change.

Extremely disappointing experience. We pulled in to a bay almost immediately and sat for an oil change for over an hour with zero communication from staff as to why it was taking so long. On top of that, we had two attendants that lacked basic knowledge. When asked what type of oil was recommended for my car as it was our first time bringing this new car in and the attendant told me he didn t know and didn t offer to find out- just told us to look it up in our car manual. There was no offer to help reset our car settings and when I asked for help with it, neither attendant knew how and had to call someone else over to assist them. When coming to Valvoline, I expect to pay more for convenience and the service but today I received neither.

These guys at this location are doing an amazing job and it is a pleasure taking my wife s car there.Their manager William is very professional, courteous and extremely nice to customers.They do a very good inspection, they are very honest, and the prices are affordable compared to any dealer.I recommend anyone to visit this location at Mitchell hammock.Thank you, William and you rock

Andrew was so amazing. As a college girl who knows nothing about cars he made sure I knew exactly what was going on and was very kind and patient in explains things. I definitely recommend visiting Andrew at Valvoline for your oil change needs !!

All I can say is honest people. We have come 2 times and we're to soon for oil change, easily could have taken our money for something we didn't need. Will continue coming here.

Jerry one of the assistant managers was rude. Within my situation, I was told they could change an oil sensor that was faulty within my car, the only reason I did the oil change with them was because one of the workers told me they could. Then when turns out they were liable if they changed it, (which I understand, but don t tell me you can do it if you can t), I was stuck with having to do the oil change and without changing the sensor, when you need to flush out the oil to change the sensor on my car. Now I have to wait till my next oil change or buy more oil and flush again and do it myself. Not a happy customer.Service: Oil change

The guys working here are just vantastic! I pulled in to get an oil change & they told me I was still good on my oil. They topped me off & sent me on my way at no charge. I like the fact they they don't take advantage of you & are honest when it comes time to change your oil. They're always friendly & carry on a conversation with you, when they can, while working on your vehicle. They are a little pricey. I use to get my oil changed at Wal-Mart for half the price but it's always so hard to get into Wal-Mart there's always a wait. I will pay a little extra & go to this place because of the excellent customer service they provide. Shame they can't price match Wal-Mart. That would really put this place over the top!

By far the worst car oil change experience I've ever had! To start, they didn't check the lights, blinkers, etc. They didn't have any washer fluid to top it off. They didn't reset the change oil indicator and when I asked them to, two people had no idea what to do and just had my pushing a bunch of buttons until the third person finally did it. Then the receipt said that some splash guard screws were missing. I had just had the splash guard replaced at the tire store next door a few weeks prior so I went over there. The tire store found the screws laying in the oil pan but what's worse is that the tire store said, "do you know your oil filter is leaking?" Apparently, Valvoline tightened the oil filter down so hard that it caused the seal to break. Had I continued to drive it, all of the oil would have leaked out of my almost new car and possibly damaged the engine. The problem with this store is that the manager, William, has a crew that has not been properly trained. Please DO NOT risk your vehicle and your safety. Avoid this place at all cost!!!Service: Oil change

Went last week for an oil change took about 1.45 hours. I was okay with the wait however my car has been overheating since. My roommate checked my fluids and apparently they never checked my coolant which was bone dry. Now my car won't start at all, and I'm having a mobile mechanic come out to inspect my vehicle. I've checked the website, they are absolutely supposed to check all fluids in their "18 point inspection." Also they never checked my tire pressure which was at a 9 PSI! This oversight by them is going to be costly. I highly recommend skipping Valvoline and going to a private mechanic or dealership for an oil change where they will do what they are being paid to do.

The guys at the Mitchell Hammock Valvoline are awesome! They were so helpful, they didn t have enough of my type of oil so they drove to another Valvoline to get it for me. When I got back they rushed me into a bay and knocked my oil change out in minutes. If you have a newer car, definitely do not bring it to this particular location. They have a serious issue with figuring out how to do something as basic as tightening an oil filter. I brought my wife's 2020 Hyundai Elantra (less than 25000 miles at the time of the last change) there a couple of months back for an oil change, and when we got down to Key West on a road trip, the engine was rattling very loud. I checked the dipstick and, lo and behold, almost no oil. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what went wrong? I filled it with 2 quarts of oil to get us back home and then I tried to figure out why I was losing oil. I finally got under the car and took pictures. The oil filter was LOOSE and LEAKING! They did not install it during the oil change properly. And I cannot confirm if they even installed the drain plug properly. This is a basic error that happens in most quick lube locations, and it often leads to massive engine repairs. I'm lucky I caught it when I did. I am hoping that my engine wasn't damaged.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Why would it take 1 hour and 36 minutes for a 10 minute oil change when you are the very next in line. They put me behind a customer getting 5 services done. Three vehicles on both sides of me pulled up after and left before I did. Yes, 6 cars that showed up after me made it though and I am still waiting to complete a 10 minute oil change. I understand 20-30 minutes or on a bad day 45 mins being next in line but not not 1 hour and 36 minutes when your next in line. Poor customer management. Lost a loyal customer. Not one explanation for the excessive time neither. Would not go back on principle alone. Terrible experience! Consequently the customer satisfaction team reached out to me to apologize for my experience. I do appreciate the effort to attempt to make things right. Changed my review from a 1 star to a 3 star for the effort.Service: Oil change

This was my first and probably last visit. The service techs are nice and attentive, but the service time is way too long.I waited 40 minutes behind one car and then my simple oil change took 45 minutes. I d rather go somewhere I can drop the car off.
