This is my second time coming to Oviedo Car Care. I visited last month to have a radiator replaced on an older vehicle. This time I had work on another radiator, oil change and brakes inspected. I was told I did not need to replace items I came in ready to pay and have serviced. Wow, a great honest mechanic shop!The appointment process was easy, staff is very nice and not pushy. The waiting area is nice and cool (it s summer) and there are some refreshments available. While I was able to wait I decided to come back and pick up my vehicle later. Communication was great and my invoice was updated and emailed when we made changes to the work order.Nice people, easy process and honesty.

I wanted to share my experience with everyone on here just to bring awareness. My dealings with this company in the beginning was wonderful but I some point I felt like I was getting scammed. I was having issues with my car overheating. I brought it in to them and told them that my car was overheating and if they could do a diagnostics on car to see what was wrong. It took them a while, which lead me to believe that they were thoroughly inspecting the vehicle. They came back to me and told them that it was both my water pump and my radiator that was leaking which was causing the overheating. The cost of the repair was going to be a total of $1,488 and some change. I agreed to have the work done and it took them a few hours to complete it. The next day I picked up my car and went about my business. While driving the noticed my check light engine came on and I brought it back to them to assess why it came on after the needed repairs were done. They inspected it and said something about it being a cylinder issue and how they changed some heads around and managed to turn off my check engine light off and if the light came back up to bring it back to them. My luck the light did come back on in a matter of a few minutes and I took it back in. After further inspecting my vehicle they finally determined that I had a blown head gasket and needed an engine oppose to fixing the head gasket due to my car having roughly 265k miles on it. They didn't hesitate to quickly quote my a price on a used and new engine. Here I am just paying them $1,488 to install a new water pump and radiator for them just to tell me that my head gasket is blown and I need a new engine. I felt like that should have been one of those things they check before determining that it was only 2 of those issues. I could have determined if my vehicle was worth fixing and installing a new engine or just cutting my ties with it, but now I am out of $1,488 and having to find another vehicle because the cost of the repairs are worth more than the vehicle itself. Again, just wanted to share my experience to shine light and to make sure you ask the important questions.

Oviedo Car Care is the place to go to, I was very impressed with the whole staff, very nice people, outstanding work. Anthony and Amy are awesome owners, they say what they mean, they will fix it and fix it right the first time. I will be going back with any problems for sure, now my Wife will be going there as well. Hats off to the whole team at OCC. Thanks Dave

Very good experience as a college student looking for car maintenance work. Steve was very friendly over the phone and walked me through what my car needed and things to keep in mind before the next visit. Very affordable and will not upcharge with unnecessary work. With how busy this mechanic shop is be prepared for a long wait if all you're doing is an oil change. Dropped my car off around 10:00am and did not finish until 5pm. Was not prepared to sit in the office for that long but the waiting area is beautiful!

This is the best shop I have ever taken my vehicles too, they have a great team of technicians as well as great Management. I took my Truck to them to see if they could help me with an alignment, they noticed that my suspension was binding causing a nasty popping noise that I couldn t figure out. They immediately told me how they could help me and what needed to be done to correct the issue. luckily I was able to get it done without having to spend money on parts. Anthony and his team did such a great job and my truck rides smoother than it did when I bought it new last year and drove it home from the dealership. My truck drives straight down the road with no issues and no more binding noises, so if you are looking for a reliable place to get your vehicle fixed take it here you will not be disappointed! I had made one call to drop off my Silverado and the technicians were able to get to it by the next day. The service writer Jonathan was very thorough and the communication was on point. I was able to get multiple points of my vehicle repaired in basically one day. The whole experience was painless and I was back to driving by closing time. I had to make a long drive from Florida to Pennsylvania. My car made a squeaky sound whenever I turn/go over bumps or drive for anything more than a couple miles. I brought it in to get that checked before I make the long trip and their diagnosis was "the brakes having a little rust and probably the sway bar links" and that it isn't critical but would take about ~300 bucks including labour, parts, and tax should I choose to get that fixed.They said the squeaky sound was due to brakes having accumulated some rust and should go away after I make the long drive. After reaching Pennsylvania, I noticed that it still made the sound (although a little less now, but still very audible). There were no significant improvements.I am disappointed in their diagnosis. Not only has the problem not been fixed, I am down $300. I was recommended this place by my sister and she was confident this place would provide better service than other shops in the area. Leaving 1 star that too for their friendly nature and nothing else.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

A friend recommended this place, and I am so grateful they did. I m a busy person and my husband and I share a vehicle. So when we started hearing unpleasant noises while braking, we knew we needed help but we also couldn t afford to go days with the car in the shop.The guys at Oviedo Car Care were completely professional and helpful. They did a full inspection, broke down all their recommendations without being condescending, and offered affordable prices. Within just a few hours of dropping off the car, I had new brake pads and rotors.Everyone was friendly and obviously loved their job.I would recommend going early in the morning as they fill up quickly and it s no wonder because this shop offers honest, top-notch repair! Their good reputation is well deserved. Thank you Oviedo Car Care for helping me get back on the road.

Initially i had given them 5 stars. They changed my oil (even though it was more expensive than anywhere else) but great service was provided.They also did an inspection and found an oil leak on the back shock and the price was given to me to fix it. My car is pretty much new and I took it to my dealer. They have inspected the car and found no oil leak of any kind. Now either my guys at a dealership don't want to fix my car or these guys gave me a bogus estimate

After 3 auto repair shops and a ford dealership FINALLY found mechanics the diagnosis and repair. OVIEDO CAR CARE Rocks. Thank you so much for taking the time and having the expertise to keep her on the road. Thank you for noticing the serpentine belt was ready to go. I highly recommend them, Anthony is a trustworthy person, I took my care to get a diagnostic on my car to pep boys and the cost was very high, so I took it to Oviedo car care and they not only gave a better price overall but I got other stuff that needed repair, plus new tires for less. I will never take my car anywhere else. Is hard to find honest people these days, and Tony is one of them.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

I highly recommend Oviedo Car Care if you are searching for somewhere to take your vehicle. The team at Oviedo Car Care is attentive, knowledgeable, and reliable.I was in a bind when a different auto shop told me they could not fix my vehicle in the time frame I needed it to be fixed. I generally do all my own maintenance and work but I found myself with a time restraint to have my truck repaired. After contact several local shops I choose Oviedo Car car based upon the friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism I received when I called them. When I took my vehicle in for repairs I was given their full attention, they called me back with a great estimate and were very prompt on making the repairs. Great work, quality, friendly and professional, as a new Reid t to the community they have earned my trust and business.

My car stopped starting so I had it towed to Oviedo car care. They were able to diagnose the issue over the course of a day and it ended up being a small fuse that needed to be replaced cause by an open circuit. They didn't run me around and try to get me to do extra work that I didn't need or waste my time. The mechanic even gave me a few extra fuses in case the same problem happened again. I highly recommend themUPDATE: More good service. I had a leak in my transmission, 2 actually. 1 in the solenoid and 1 in the pan gasket. The pan gasket was replaced by OCC a year earlier so it was under their warranty and that was replaced at no cost. They fixed both leaks in one day. I did have to schedule an appointment a decent amount of time in the advance since they are a very popular mechanic but they got the service done in one day on my day off so I didn't have to miss work the next day. highly recommend them. 4/12/2023

RIP OFF, LIARS, CHEATING OLD PEOPLE. My mom took her car there without telling me. I realized it was a 5 minute fix, but they kept her car over night and charged her around $200. She noticed the mechanics did some quick work on the car and then left the car alone. When she questioned them, they said they were busy and would have to check the car the following day. This was a lie because it was a simple fix! They made her feel like she was stupid and had made a crazy mistake all so they could rip her off. I passed by this place and it was busy and full of cars. Mechanics have a bad reputation but these guys take the cake! STAY. AWAY.

Took my 2013 dodge avenger to a dodge dealership. They came back with a $4,000 quote and a lot of fear-based discussion. A friend recommended Oviedo Car Care for a second opinion. They took us in right away, looked over the car, and sent a quote within an hour. They were able to fix only those things that the car needed by the morning of the next day and saved us $3,000. The staff here are friendly and family-oriented. They only do what you need in order to get your car back to you in the safest condition possible. I will continue bringing my vehicle here.As a side note - I did not opt to use any of the distancing measures like key drop off and pick up, but I think it's great that this business has those options. They did a great job of marking 6 foot distance inside the office and everything looked clean and orderly.

To be clear, I did not have any work done at this shop. That being said the manner in which I have been treated by the owner and staff has been simply amazing! I had my car towed in and they evaluated the issues with my car and reported back to me. They quickly provide me with details and a quote. Due to the cost of the repairs and the value of the car I needed some time to consider whether I would repair the car or not. Ultimately I declined to get my car repaired. Throughout the whole process the shop was professional and polite with me. They put me under zero pressure even, though my car sat in the shop taking up valuable space I am sure.No one hopes to need a mechanic, but next time I do, Oviedo Car Care will be the first place I take it!

I had LOTS wrong with my car bringing it in I was scared to drive because it felt unsafe, the steering wheel would shake violently when going 80 mph so I could barely even go on the highway. After quarantine my car sat for 2 years (it got moldy). Anyways there were lots of other problems too, someone had stolen my car mirror, my tail light got water in it and stopped working the ABS light was on so that was the scariest one for me.I took it in for an estimate and they told me honestly everything that was wrong with my car. It was a lot so we shortened it the estimate down to the essentials and they were again completely honest and amazing with everything!I just got my car back yesterday and while driving on the highway I was AMAZED when my steering wheel was completely solid while driving! It didn t shake at all. They gave me my car back, but even more importantly, made me feel safe driving my car again. First time customer and I'm kicking myself for not using them before now. I've lived in Oviedo too long not to have been a customer. I think I know a little more than the average person about cars but I still leave most shops feeling uneasy. But not here. They diagnosed my problems with the AC condenser and coolant system timely, explained the repair in terms I could understand, charged the right price, and treated me kindly. I was looking for some where to take my vehicles in for maintenance and repairs that was close to my house. I was very lucky to have found Oviedo Car Care. They repaired my cv axle and wheel bearing on my 03 Toyota 4Runner along with some other minor repairs. Wow what service, I was extremely impressed with the quality and value of my repairs. I feel this company is very professional and go above and beyond in taking care of it s customers. A shout out to Anthony, Amy, Angel, and all the mechanics. It s so comforting to find a company who really cares about you and your vehicle. Oviedo Car Care was honest, timely, and helpful with all of their work. I ve used a couple different places in the Oviedo/Winter Springs area and they have been the best by far with their work, prices, and amazing customer service! We ll happily be bringing our cars here from now on!

Initially I had a good experience with my car repairs, but it turned a bit frustrating when I took my car in around 2-3 times to get a rattling sound fixed, and each time the mechanic would mention other issues he fixed but would completely forget about the noise, the main reason I brought my car in for. Things ended up fine, a different mechanic with red hair (I dont know his name) fixed it right away and the problem never came back. Since they owned up to the problem, and I requested to continue getting the mechanic that finally fixed my car, I was fine and came back again to have an arm of the rear glass door to get reattached since it fell off and got stuck in the back door. Again, I got a different mechanic from the one I requested, and he gave me a quote around $600 because of all the pieces he had to order to fix it. I found it ridiculous and left. Everyone I have told who knows about car repairs has said thankfully I knew that wasnt right and left. This same issue had happened on the opposite arm before and Honda had me purchase a $25 piece to fix it and that was it. On this opposite arm, my in law fixed it in an hour without needing to buy any new pieces and it is back to working no problem months after that. That was the last straw for me.Response: I appreciate the follow up and the willingness to work with your customers. Nonetheless, I dont appreciate the inaccuracies in your response. I came twice to have the noise fixed, and when I headed out after the second repair, I returned to the shop because the rattling noise was still there. When I returned, the mechanic had no awareness there was a noise even though id mentioned it several times. The main issue of me coming in wasnt even recognized which caused having to go out of my way again and extend the repair. The red haired guy explained to me what was done after it was finally fixed, and when I called to schedule an appointment with him, no one informed he wasnt a mechanic and they simply went ahead and scheduled the appointment. The back glass door is not loose. The attachment that kept it open was off so whenever you would open it, it wouldnt stay open. That isnt a concern anymore and it was fixed. Please pay closer attention to having accurate communication with your customers and listening more.

Everyone was super helpful and professional. I bought in my Lexus after another highly rated shop tried to tell me I probably needed to replace my ac system and it was going to take many hours. I went here and they fixed my issue so fast doing a recharge and evac after I had a friend replace the ac compressor. and cared about my car. It is now blowing cold and runs perfectly!Service: Air conditioning

I m very particular about service to my F-150. Anthony and Jim spotted an issue and didn t have parts on hand. Rather than leave me without a vehicle for 6 days over the holiday weekend, they really worked a miracle within 2 hours. Great customer service and professionalism. Would highly recommend to anyone! Awesome family business.

Amazing customer service is guaranteed at this business - every, single time! As the parent of a student at UCF who does not live in Orlando, I was directed through AAA to Oviedo Car Care. What I found was a business that was ethical and honest, and always kept her vehicle running well. At times, it was an honest conversation about what had to be done, and what could be scheduled for a future time that would not compromise safety. As a parent, that was invaluable. I found their prices reasonable, and I was very happy to be able to support a local business.

Recently my wife was driving her SUV from our home in Punta Gorda to our daughter s home in Oviedo. While driving on 417, the car developed transmission shifting problems. Our daughter, who s been taking her cars to Oviedo Car Care for years, suggested we take the SUV to them for an evaluation of the problem. Oviedo Car Care performed a diagnostic test on the car the following day and suggested a transmission garage as they did not do transmission repair work. Oviedo Car Care could not have been more helpful to us considering our predicament. They did not charge us for the diagnostic test and the transmission repair shop they referred us to was honest and did excellent work in rebuilding the transmission. I throughly recommend Oviedo Car Care!!! I have been looking for a trustworthy and reliable mechanic shop and I found it! Great staff! My car was done on time, the staff kept updated throughout the repair and the price was right. I have 15 year of experience in the car industry and I know the cost of repairs. The estimated cost was affordable. Another great detail that makes this establishment stand out, the mechanics provided me with pictures of all damaged and replaced parts throughout repair the process. Great job Oviedo Car Care!! We use Oviedo Car Care for our personal and business vehicles. If you are looking for a trustworthy and honest place to take your vehicles, this is the place! Their prices are very reasonable and they do quality work. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else! The owners and employees care about their customers.
