First time user. Had to replace the radio in Chevrolet equinox with a junkyard one that was locked. Worked great unlocked it and it works great. Very fast shipping.

The dealership said that no one can unlock a "Theft Locked" radio. Well, ODBGenie did what the dealership said was impossible. All of the features that my radio had before being replaced were present and everthing was working as expected.Using the device was easy and the craftsmanship superb.

I would never use this product on any vehicle. I was putting in an aftermarket market amplifier and subwoofer setup and bought a wire harness that came with the OBDGENIE(F-aud), after connecting the Genie all of my speakers stopped working except the middle dash speaker, I am now having to pay for over $2k to have my truck fixed due to this terrible product. I would also like to add the customer service I got was horrible, the guy was not helpful at all and got defensive with me when I told him his company's product did this too my truck and he replied with and I quote "our product did not do this to you're vehicle and that they are not to blame over there product messing up my vehicle", I am very upset with the company and the worker I talked to.

Replaced radio in gm car to find replacement was locked and unusable. Dealership advised $175 to try to unlock and reprogram it. I was very skeptical of this device, but it did what was needed. Easy to use and fast results, it had my new unit unlocked in about a minute.

I'm happy to express my thanks to the people of OBDGenie specially to Mary a great customer service rep. She was very accommodating and nice. I received my Genie within a few days and I was somewhat apprehensive looking forward to the installation even though I watched several videos. Anyway, after couple times and holding my breath every time the screen went black I saw the downloading and the navigation appeared in my Ford Edge. I'm a 65 year old men with not a lot computer experience but it was easy to install after I calm down and try step by step. Again thank you Mary for your helpFrankhi.

I got my OBDGenie for my new 2020 RAM Rebel because it did not come with the trailer brake option. When I received it worked but didn t come up on my settings, I called and Crystal solved the problem after speaking with the engineers and sent me a version that worked perfectly with my radio option. Crystal was very professional and really knew her stuff it s amazing that you can get a plug and play without having to empty your wallet at the dealership. Special thanks to Crystal!

Finding this product was such a treat after dealing with absolutely no nav in my 2015 Mustang for the last five-years. Shipping was insanely fast. Once I started setup, I ran into a couple of issues (my software was a little more upgraded than I realized), but the team at OBD Genie very quickly answered my questions by email and text. They stayed with me through set-up until I had a perfect install. Now, I have one of the key options I wasn't able to get when I purchased the car of my dreams. Fantastic product. Fantastic team. You won't be disappointed!

I received the Genie very quickly. It took me 3 tries to install Navigation, but on the third attempt, it installed correctly. I do feel like better information should be made available about potential events that might occur while attempting installs. Yes, I followed the direction each time. The first 2 attempts, the blue light on the Genie flashed but after several minutes, never turned green. During this time, The Driver Information Center cycled through 5 or 6 "need servicing" alerts and interior lights flashed on and off. The service alerts remained after I unplugged the Genie even after letting the vehicle sit turned off for 30 minutes. Fortunately, after sitting overnight, the services alerts cleared on their own and the next morning "3rd attempt" was successful. All three install attempts were done identically on my part so I'm not sure why the 3rd attempt worked...I'm just glad it did. The screen on the infotainment system did show "NO VIN" for a second, but then restarted and Nav worked along with everything else. I checked for codes with an OBDII scanner and none exist. However, the HD Radio upgrade did NOT work. David at OBD Genie replied to an Email I sent asking about it and he informed me that GM made it so HD Radio will not work in 2021+ year vehicles and OBD Genie has known this for 4 months. I think there needs to be a much better effort made in informing people about this before purchases are made considering the videos on their website shows it as being included. Plus, they have the vehicle information (year and VIN#) when the order is placed. So they know it isn't included.I am happy about the working NAV though. I just think people should be aware of potential issues (probably very rare) and HD Radio no longer included with the NAV upgrade for GM vehicles 2021 and newer.

I ordered the OBD NAV upgrade for my 2021 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4. The first one I received would not install so I called their customer service. A great lady worked with me and determined I needed to return it for reprogramming. She sent me a shipping label and I returned it. They quickly returned the reprogrammed OBD and I was able to install the NAV upgrade in less than 4 minutes. It was a simple and quick install.In my opinion, customer service is everything. Had it not been for that outstanding OBD representative, I would have never gotten the product I paid for and OBD would have lost a customer forever. Not to mention a bad review.Based on my experience, I would recommend the OBD NAV upgrade. If you have any challenges with your install, ask for that wonderful lady who helped me.George Railey

Although, after three tries with a rear camera programmer, it was not able to be programmed on my vehicle. Crystal and her team were tremendously courteous with return shipping and keeping in contact about orders. Very generous and dedicated workers went above and beyond expectations. Top notch knowledgeability, but unfortunately I ll be stuck going with a different interface harness for my application.

Buy the OBD Genie. You will spend less time installing I than it takes for a conversation with a dealer! I called 2 dealers. One said we don t have a programming machine. The other never heard of unlocking your radio. I literally plugged it in and in less than 20 seconds had a back up camera. I have less than $300 total in my camera, install and Genie. I am very pleased with my purchase. My only regret is I messed around trying to set up appointment with a dealer and didn t order the Genie when I got my camera.

I had to replace an OEM radio due to faulty cd mechanism. (MyLink chevy radio) Due to obtaining the radio from a junk yard it was VIN locked. I tried dealership, repair shops, stereo installation place with no luck in unlocking radio. I am so grateful and lucky to have found OBDgenie and the great customer service they offer. Crystal was very helpful and patience with all the questions I had regarding the radio unlock product. I received product with free shipping and once I plugged it in it took no more than 3 seconds!! to unlock radio. Thank you guys at OBDgenie you guys are a life saver!

We purchased a new 2021 Cadillac XT6 and was surprised that this premium vehicle did not come with manufacturer installed navigation. We asked the dealership about enabling the software even at our cost and we were told it would be impossible. Unless navigation was purchased as an option with the vehicle the CUE system could not be modified or updated.After searching for after-market options, we discovered OBDGenie. We had several questions regarding the software, installation, and potential impact to other CUE features installed. David Huebsch took the time to answer everything and ensured our 2021 XT6 could use their after-market software.The software arrived within 2 days and the installation was as David described. It took less than 5 minutes to install and set up navigation on factory CUE system.Great product, easy installation and excellent customer support.

The first unit I received did not appear to work and after contacting the company they (Crystal) worked through several possible issues with no luck. A new programmer was sent along with a return label and RMA for the defective unit. The new programmer works great and I now have Navigation added to my vehicle. Thank you for working with me through this issue. You stand behind your product and take of your customers.

Great product and superb customer service. I took my 2016 Silverado to a Chevrolet "stealership" to program a used backup camera I purchased from another Silverado. I was told that my vehicle does not have an interface to accept programming for a camera. I called Chevrolet and after i gave them my VIN, I was told my camera can not be programmed. I called another dealer and was told very rudely, the same. I knew it could be done, lots of videos and info out there. I called OBD GENIE, gave them my VIN and they sent me a link for the GM OBD GENIE programmer for my truck. I ordered one and it arrived 4 days later and I had a working backup camera in about 30 seconds. So easy and having a backup camera on my 8 inch factory screen is the best upgrade I have made. Thank you OBD GENIE!

I was having a hard time locating my security gateway bypass location in my 2019 Dodge Ram. I call For hep and Crystal was very helpful and walked me through the hole process over them phone and via text, sent me diagrams of my truck behind dash board and radio and I was able to locate very fast and was done with the stress! Thank you Crystal for all of your help!!! Truck is now all programed for electric trailer breaks!

I had the best customer service via online. The rep was very patient and respectful. She answered all my questions regarding my purchase and clarified details regarding.the items I was purchasing. I was even able to get military discount. You guys are great!!! I salute you!!!Thank you.04/30/21 Today I installed (enabled) my GPS Nav system in my truck. It was very easy it probably took approximately 3 minutes at the most. I received two items yesterday. One was my OBD programmer and the other was the OEM GM memory card with the maps software.I firts inserted the card in the memory slot in my center console and then I inserted the OBD under the driver's dashboard. It was a plug and play. I had the truck running. My screen went black for a few seconds and them my Navigation icon was on with a green light around the arrow.It was that simple.Thanks again for the great customer service. You now have a customer for life. I can't wait to see what other mods I can do to my truck.

Bought a brand new 2019 F-150. Didn t like the fact the engine shut off every time I stopped at a light. Crystal from OBD genie recommend the for engine stop/start programmer. I ordered the programmer. Arrived 3 days later. Plugged into OBD port. Started truck. It did it s thing. Turned off truck and unplugged. Started truck now engine stop/start is disabled. Very Easy. GREAT PRODUCT. Would definitely recommend Ford engine stop/start programmer.

I wanted to upgrade my 2020 Silverado IOU radio to add Nav. The truck came with the SD Card slot and the dealer said all I had to do was buy the Nav SD card from GM. Well, the dealership Service could not do it. They had the card but were told by GM there were problems with the 2019s and pulled the package. In addition, the price quote from the dealer was outrageous. Enter OBDGenie. I bought their kit at a cost well below the dealer estimate for their now unavailable kit. At first I had problems getting the OBDGenie to install the Nav app but David and Crystal stuck with me to troubleshoot the issues and voila! My Nav app is up and running thanks to the team at OBDGenie.

Ordered the Navigation Program for my 2021 GMC Sierra. The people at OBDGenie where both friendly and helpful. When the program came, I installed the program but I kept getting an SD Card error. The SD Card provides map info. I contacted OBDGenie (Crystal) about the problem and she said she would send out another SD Card. When I received the second sd card, the same card error came up. Again I contacted Crystal and she informed me that two sd cards came from the same batch and she was told that there were issues with the batch. Crystal sent me a sd card from a new batch. I installed the sd card and the Navigation Program is working great now! The ODBGenie people were a pleasure to work with. They remained positive and professional throughout this ordeal and assured me that they would help me correct the issue. They kept their word and I now have my Navigation! I highly recommend OBDGenie for upgrades to your vehicle! Their people will bend over backwards for their customers!

I purchased the OBDGenie hoping it would work with the trailer brake I purchased. When the first one didn t work, I contacted OBDGenie and was in communication with Crystal. She was wonderful. Answering my questions via text messages even when she was off work. That s great customer service. She sent my another OBDGenie device right away. Unfortunately that one didn t work either. Again, I was in contact with Crystal and she offered me to return the two devices for a full refund. Again, that is great customer service. I would recommend OBDGENIE to everyone. I am planning to do some additional upgrades to my truck and would absolutely try OBDGENIE first.Thank you again Crystal for the great customer service.Andrew Antekeier

Crystal went above and beyond to ensure I had the right old from them. She reached out and contacted me directly and asked me a series of questions which allowed her to realize I was ordering for the wrong program. She recommended which program I really needed and shipped it out fast. I highly recommend OBDGenie to anyone who want to save themselves from paying high dealer programing fees.

I recently bought an OBD for the Navigation on a 2015 Ford Mustang. Had a slight issue with the programing, but the customer service department was able to troubleshoot and sent me a new OBD for my car. Followed the instructions and everything updated. Definately worth the price. Highly recommend using OBD Genie instead of spending $700-$1000 on a new system.

Boy was I hot and disappointed !I contacted OBD Genie and wanted answers.......Well I got em. After I dried My eyes and contacted support I was hooked up with who I Believe was named Crystal and She worked with Me to a satisfying end and the only ingredient that I needed was Patience.I even had took My 07 Suburban to Smith Chevy in Hammond, Indiana, paid about $60 with the same Navigation Radio which they said was non refundable to have a Lady way in Florida get it done with The Postal service and text messaging.I want to say Thank U Ma'am I appreciate U(I only had the Radio 14 to 18 Months)CReaMdotcom

I purchased the nav upgrade for my 2020 camaro. The upgrade worked as advertised. I had some trouble with the GM sd map card. Crystal and Tommy helped me and sent another sd card. It solved the problem. I couldn't be happier! They really support and stand by thier products. Thank you OBD Genie!

I bought the Chevy navigation programmer for my 2020 Silverado since it did not come equipped with it. This product is amazing! It works exactly as described in the u-tube videos. I will recommend this to anyone with excellent customer service you can t go wrong..

Navigation was not one of the options when I purchased a 2021 Camaro 2ss (don't know why, has everything else). Searched online for a Navigation program & found OBDGenie. Ordered it, got it, installed it & was amazed how it works. Way better than On Star turn by turn. Really glad I bought it.

Was having a 3 red light issue on my 2020 Challenger for cooled seats. Called and Crystal walked me through a system reset. Now all options work as planned. Excellent customer service.

I just bought a 2013 Lincoln MKX. Much to my surprise no Navigation installed. I looked on youtube and found several alternatives. OBDGenie was the best and only choice. I didn't have to deal with exchanging hardware. Simple 123 USB instructions and done, I have navigation. Soo happy I highly recommend OBDGenie for all your auto programming needs.
