Called for an appointment for alignment. The gentleman on the phone was very polite, explained how long it will take. I arrived at the shop (East colonial) he welcomed me right away! Love the environment of the place and how professional he was. You don t find that much nowadays. Definitely coming back when my vehicle needs any service. I highly recommend this place!

Came in for a quick check because my brakes started to make noise. My first time to this location and I have to say I was impressed. They explained exactly what I needed and why. Quoted me a price to make the needed repairs which was surprisingly less then I had expected so I had them do more. They recommended some other work that I didn t know I needed done so had them do that too. All done in same day ! TY5 stars

I came to get my ac compressor changed out because it went bad. I had a problem at first but John made sure that I was taking care of and the ac was fixed. I truly appreciate him doing that. My ac is back to working fine and I'm satisfied. I appreciate all the help.

The most amazing, patient and professional mechanic I've ever had the pleasure of going to. I've always dreaded going to the mechanic until I got to Tuffys. The pride they take in their work is unlike any other. Special shout out to Frank and Brian! Can't recommend this place enough - they've taken care of my 2010 Hyundai Elantra for years now!

My son was in a car accident on Wednesday. Tuffy's crew worked hard to get his car drivable and took care of him. Was ready Friday evening. We are 1100 miles away in Rochester, NY and are so thankful for everyone there. Tuffy Tire and Auto on Colonial is amazing. Truly the best!!!! Thank you!

Absolute first class service provided by the allocated individuals for my vehicles, who take pride in their work, and ensure they take care of their customers. No matter what the job on your vehicle needs doing, it's either done right, and NOT just, 'Okay. That'll do', or it's simply not right. When your vehicle is ready to go back on the road, you know you're safe to go. John, Brian, and the whole team are awesome, and their customer service is second to none. I have been to this particular Tuffy's location for numerous reasons, for things like oil changes, new brakes installation, new wheels and tires installations, custom exhaust installation, air conditioning recharge, car electrical issues, I've even had my new underglow lighting installed here too, and every time I have left I am a happy motorist again. Therefore I will most definitely be a returning customer when needs be.

Been taking cars here since 2006. They have always fixed my vehicle (assuming it could be...haha) at what I thought were reasonable costs (I have shopped around here-and-there to see if their prices are reasonable...have not seen anything to make me want to take my vehicle elsewhere). Honest, hard-working, friendly staff. If there has ever been any issues with a repair they resolved the issue (sometimes even having to redo a job because the part ended up being faulty) in a timey manner. Been 7 years taking both my cars here. I have a 20 yr old Camry that still runs amazingly because of the service they provide. I'm never sold things not needed or ever feel obligated by them...And because I'm loyal they always throw me small discounts that you will not get anywhere else. It is a part of their brand and service. I can't speak for any other location but E Colonial. Horrible service and did not get what I paid for. Went in to install some parts and they didnt even install them properly. They ripped off my radiator hoses and wanted to charge $600 for an old car's radiator. I bought one and installed it myself. DO NOT GO HERE they will mess your car up and will try to charge you for THEIR mistakes

I stopped here for some help on installing a break light, Bryan was so friendly and helpful. He was quick and officiant. He didn t even charge me for the manor out of the kindness of his heart. This shop is somewhere I will defiantly be using for all my repairs and maintenance. The break lights on this Nissan Rogue are not easy to take out and he looked up how to do it and helped me out really quick. This business is one I want to support. Their costs for other maintenance is relatively low compared to other places I have looked at. Thanks for the great service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I initially frequented the Oviedo Tuffy prior to closure, and came here for the first time for service. An even better experience! I would like to take time to thank the entire staff for their kindness and service. I spoke w/ Brad on a Saturday, who initiated the process to start Monday. I would especially like to give Frank a huge thank you for taking care of my car needs! He was extremely thorough and explained everything to me. I was able to tow my car in early Monday morning, and it was ready that afternoon. Along with that, I loved that I was able to use my already purchased brakes and rotors. For all that my car needed, the price was also superb! It s not often folks actually offer applicable discounts. Frank took the time to give me a print out with photos and everything for my records, along with the next recommended service and prices. (Its really hard, especially as a woman, to go to auto shops and not feel like someone s trying to bamboozle you unfortunately; so another big thank you for the comfortability and good character!) She s driving extremely smooth. (And I got those 4 new tires and alignment lol) Thank yal! See you soon

I was on vacation from upstate NY. My girlfriend who live in Orlando picked me up from the airport with a flat tire because she was avoiding traffic. We call many tires service and there were long wait. We need to be on our way to Clear Water to meet our friends so we need to be on our way. When we arrived at Tuffy Auto Service, James Palazios was very helpful, he was able to fix our tires on a timely manner. While we wait he was very intensive and friendly, he gave us some great ideas of what we can do for fun at a cost effective price in Clear Water. I highly recommend Tuffy for their friendly staff and customer service.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Great service and honest mechanics. They gave my car a full inspection and didn't try to sell me unnecessary services. Since it was going to take a few hours to do all the repairs, they even offered to drive me home so I didn't have to wait in the shop. I can t leave enough praise for Frank and this location. Frank and his team were friendly from the first phone call to the last step of returning my keys. If you are looking for honest, good work, this location is for you. I will absolutely be back and recommend this shop to anyone that ll listen.

Not very friendly, at the counter person named Frank, was rude the way he speaks.I had a 10 am. appointment to get alignment, he said $199, after I told him I have coupon, he stated it will 3 plus hours. I said, "What is the purpose of making an appointment?" he said."What do you think it's in and out.He needs to learn how to speak with customers.It ended up that I left w/o getting alignment. Hewanted me to buy front tires.Frank is rude and needs training in customer service.

It was early Saturday morning, and the night before my horn wouldn t stop blowing, I took it to Ford, where I purchased the vehicle, and they looked at me like a deer in the headlights, and told me to schedule for Monday I m stressed and not knowing what to do. Tuffy was on the way home, I stopped in essentially they told me they couldn t give me until Monday, but Brian was awesome, he looked up my vehicle, make and model printed out a map of the fuse box, pull the fuse, and I will be returning this coming week for tuffy to put a new fuse, so I have a working hornService: Electrical repair

I scheduled an appointment to have both a car alignment and rear brakes replaced. Brain explained the repair and provided a cost quote. The repair cost was fair. He gave me a time when the job would be done and the work was completed on time. While there, I heard him helping other customers with the same professionalism. I recommend this Tuffy location on Colonial Ave for your car repair and maintenance needs.

Spun out on the highway and slammed into a concrete barrier going 80. By the grace of God, Tuffy s was able to repair it! Within 3 days time, they replaced the axle, tires, and so many other things! I m very grateful. Top notch customer service, Brian was very proactive in reaching out to me and making sure I was looped in to what was going on. They prioritized the price for me, and got me the best deals on parts that they could! For the shape I brought my car in, they definitely worked a miracle. Very skilled technicians who know what they re doing here! Highly recommend!

I have never left a review anywhere before as it's not something I like to do. After visiting here and almost being scammed out of over $1400 I feel the need to warn others to be careful when coming here, especially if you are a women. I came in because there was an issue with my ac shutting off due to high engine temperature, but no engine light would come on. Not too long ago I had changed my thermostat and was confused why the car was still running fine, but sometimes the ac would turn off due to high temperatures. I left my car there for the night and the next morning got a call. They had said that I had a problem with my thermostat and my water pump was leaking. This was strange to hear as my car showed no signs of leaking and my thermostat was changed a few months prior. They also told me that my battery had issues and I changed the battery recently as well. They said to change the thermostat and water pump it would be over $1400 and that is with an applied "student discount". I asked them to explain the prices as the last time I changed my thermostat it was only $400. So they started telling me the prices and added an oil change, which I was never told was on the list of things to fix and they started to come up with more excuses for the price. I decided to decline services and paid the $30 inspection fee. I took my car to the place where I fixed my thermostat. He let me watch as he looked through the car and turns out that all the issues I was told were a problem did not exist. The issue with my car had to do with being low on coolant and an issue with the sensor. My thermostat, water pump, battery, and oil were all fine and didn't need anything. I was honestly disgusted that I was lied to and almost paid a ton of money for issues that did not exist. If you are someone who does not know about cars, do not come here. Save the money and go somewhere else.

As always, John, Brian, and crew were prompt, friendly and finished on time. While waiting for my work to be completed, other customers came in. Frank was extremely helpful when our daughter's check engine light came on, we took her car in and asked them to check her car over. They found a couple of issues and provided photos since we live in Tampa and can't just come to the shop to see it.
