I got tires here a month ago, no one has touched the wheels since getting the new tires. Today I had to swap out my brake pads, realized all the lugs were way over torqued.One was so bad that it was cross threaded and I ended up needing to replace the lug nut and threaded stud.Called the shop to point out the mistake and see if they could make it right."That's not possible.""That's your fault.""We're not responsible for that."Lugs don't cross thread from being taken off if they are put on correctly, they certainly don't cross thread from driving. They cross thread when you use an impact gun incorrectly and ignore the torque requirement.Mistakes happen. But not owning up to it or trying to make it right, and then trying to gaslight the customer is unacceptable.Ended up paying $250 for a mechanic to come out and replace the broken stud and lug nut.I will not be going back to Montalvo Tires and I would recommend others stay away.

Eddie and the guys that work here are AMAZING!! Highly recommend this place. Been coming here for years and always recommend anyone that needs work to come here. Honest prices and exceptional work. Plus amazing attitudes. Come to montalvo!!

These guys are the absolute best!!!I first noticed Montalvo 6 or 7 years ago when i lived down the road and was out taking a walk. Their oil change sign had prices that i thought was old and never got updated ( shop was closed at the time i passed it) because it was to good to be true, but I called anyway and the prices were correct...I couldn't believe it!!! They have taken care of all my vehicles since then. I now live on the East coast and still drive over even for an oil change. I could go ON and ON but the bottom line is, they are the most HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY guys and I am so grateful for that, especially being female. They NEVER take advantage!!!! I always thank them profusely and it probably drives them crazy:) finding amazing people li in this world is so rare (unfortunately) and I am always loyal to those few that exist out there. If I won lotto these guys would be on my super short list of people who got a big check, that's how stellar they are. You will not be disappointed!!Shop is busy so be patient, it's worth it.

Thought I had a flat from a nail in my tire on my way to work, they came out and helped me immediately. Looked at it said it just needed air filled it up and didn t charge me. The blonde shoulder length haired gentlemen helped me, didn t get him name but he was sweet as could be. Very happy, will only be coming here from now on. Tell your friends!

Great family oriented business was able to set up everything over the phone and got my new tires as soon as I arrived. Much appreciated Eddie and Matt, no over the phone robot but rea customer service . And thanks for the 50,000 warranty!

Update: Always awesome customer service. They do a very good job. Outstanding service, very quick and great price. Totally recommend them. Best place in town to get your tires, oil change, breaks. They are great. Thank you, Matt, Eddie, and Kenny.

Currently having my 2001 Monte Carlo SS "Candy" worked on there. Employees are friendly and very knowledgeable. Definitely going to be bringing "Candy" back for routine maintenance in the future. Super friendly staff. EDIT: Work on Candy was completed. My car runs way better than it did before it went to Montalvo. They cleaned it out, replaced my ignition cable (someone vandalized my car and I had to have it towed there). Gave Candy an oil change, new tires, brake pads and rotors, the works. The quality of work done was way higher than the price. Does not overcharge for anything and I'm definitely taking Candy back next time she needs work done

I m disappointed at them recently. I ve been going at them for over 6 years for oil change and every problem and they used to be all brothers working together and the nicest people ever. But now? Just LAZY, so LazyI changed the oil not even 2 months ago and a red oil leaking light came on dashboard, so went back to see what s the problem and they didn t even bother to open the hood, they just diagnosed it by a little tiny machine.Found out they put a cheap synthetic oil and didn t fill it all the way out! My problem for trusting them so much

I was recommended to go to Montalvo Tires by an associate at a nearby Autozone (thanks Raphael!) when he spotted a bulge in my tire that needed to be replaced ASAP. I m so glad he caught it. Anyway, I went straight to Montalvo Tires and they were not only able to help me same day, but they had my car up and were replacing the tire within 15 minutes of my arrival! The used tire replacement was obviously high quality with a great amount of tread on it! I was about due for an oil change so they went ahead and did that for me as well, and my total was only $53 for both! All of the staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and very friendly! Would recommend to anyone, thank you for the great service!

Great shop, great guys, great experiences every time I have been to their shop. I love the prices. New tires for far less than I would have paid elsewhere. It's a no frills kind of place but that doesn't bother me. Highly recommended. Go see these guys and they will take care of you.

Have been coming to this shop for about 5 years. Excellent service every single time. The most affordable brand new tires in town after having called and searched in over 15 places. They don't offer alignments so you may need to search separately (trust me it's cheaper to do that) the price / service / effort, is second to none. He gave me options unlike other shops. Warranty is included with these!

I love this place...the guys are honest and straight to the point. Prices are fair and they do reputable work. The only downfall is that because of all these great attributes they are often very busy and the wait time on average is about 1 hr before they can start on your car. At least the last 3-4 times I've been there. Too bad they don't do appointments. It would be such a great option. I highly recommend them!Forward 3 years later. Still coming here and I absolutely still feel the same except that the wait time has definitely gotten better. Still highly recommend them. PS I've been coming to this shop since I was 17, I'm now 40.

Friendly, efficient & great customer service!I called Montalvo to schedule an appt. & they were able to take me immediately. Which was great because i was only 10min away. Once I arrived they were able to get my tires done in 20min! Will definitely be back & recommend this business to all my friends & family.

Hands down one of the best family owned mechanic shops in town! My mom found this place like 4 or 5 years ago and after my coverage for my car was over I went here for my usual maintenance and might I say they never fail me. They know me well as I come here for anything car related and I definitely recommend this place. The mechanics themselves are such awesome people and you can tell they are committed to their job. You CANNOT beat their prices as they charge what's needed, not overcharge you to take your money. I love this place and I literally travel miles just to support their shop cause it's worth it!

Great place to get car work done. I've been several times and the guys are friendly, professional, and their prices are reasonable. I always feel like they are there to help me. They're honest about what you need and pretty much stick to the time frames.

FANTASTIC! Great Service. Excellent pricing. Family owned business that treats you like family. I recommend them to anyone. I am on a strict budget like most. I can actually afford to have the work done that I needed that would have cost me double at the dealership. I came over so they could look and order the parts and come back the next day. They offered if I waited, as there were others before me and they could get the parts in about a half hour-which they did. I waited my turn and was out in a few hours.I have worked hospitality / customer service for 35 years. Super nice, cordial, professional, personable and affordable. I wish I were more creative to express my gratitude. Look at all the other reviews. It all rings true and in the best way. Thank you! :)

I love this place! They have great prices and treat me well as a human. I feel like they are generally honest! I have never felt like they take advantage of my lack of car knowledge unlike other car places that may see me as great target being a girl who does not know much about cars. I am always greeted well and have always had excellent customer service!

Been looking for an affordable place to do basic maintenance on my car. My roommate recommended Montalvo so I swung by for a tire repair, rotation, and oil change. Basic stuff, but they treated me as a priority and had the work done in under an hour for $40. They also happen to be right around the corner from my house, so they will be seeing a lot more of me. Wonderful place!

My father has been coming to these brothers for years and now I come to them from the other side of town to maintain my car. They are always nice despite how busy they be. Matt changed out my sturts for me and answered my concerns. The price was fair as well. Definitely recommend all 3 brothers are the bomb! Satisfied customer!

I ve been coming here for about 2 years for random car needs and I must say that the guys here are AWESOME. Simply the best place I ve brought my car to.They are very knowledgeable, honest, quick and I have never felt taken advantage of or over priced for the services I ve received.Although I hope I won t any more work done, this is the only place I would trust to touch my car.Thank you so much, Montalvo crew!Glod bless you & your families!

This place gets busy & for good reason. They provide great service & they are always helpful. Even with how busy it gets, they still find time to answer the phone 98% of the time & answer your questions! They're honest & you really can't beat their prices! I highly recommend them.

PERFECT! This is where you need to go to get your car fixed! They are so nice and upfront about what you need done, and get it done quickly too, for an incredible price! Great quality service too. I never knew getting my car fixed could be such a stress free thing. PLEASE give this place a try if you haven t had the best luck other places. Can t recommend them enough. Thank you!

Just got my oil change here. These guys are awesome. Always fast and professional. Super friendly. I saw them topped off all my fluids without telling me or letting me know later. Little stuff like that is what makes their service great. I was in and out. Highly recommend these guys. Cheaper than the dealership.

Great place for tire problems, plugs quickly, gets you back on the road with a minimum of fuss and VERY reasonable pricing! Make sure you sign the list when you get there!
