Wanted to drive for a while before leaving a review. Jeep Cherokee XJ with a front drivers side lower control arm bracket sheered at the axle. I missed two appointments to bring the Jeep in. They still welcomed me with open arms. Very friendly.This was some seriously good welding work. A real pride of work was obvious in the results The price was very low, less than half of other quotes elsewhere. The repair was done while I waited in the office, which is clean and tidy with a water cooler and nice window view.I really couldn t be happier with the level of work preformed, price, or customer service. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Yes they seem to specialize in exhaust related work but if its something that needs welding, enter with confidence because these guys are super legit and I would easily have paid double for the level of work they preformed.

Thanks to the guys at LD, they really came through for me, on making me a new filler neck for my isuzu (which, isuzu doesn't make anymore) out of 304 Stainless steel (pic attached) thanks once again

This man got my exhaust running correctly no more rattles and he straighten it out so it's sitting flush recommend him if you need some exhuast work

Well I called this place because I had a P0420(Bank 1) code. The guy told me to bring it in and he would look at it for no charge to check what was causing the problem. The first time I came the light went out as I on my way to the shop. After, I explained the light went out on the way he said then it could have possibly been a false code and that it just went away. 3 weeks later I go back with the light still on this time for at least a week with the same P0420 ( Bank 1)code scanned at AutoZone. He told me to come in and he would put it on the rack and look into it. We'll, I get there and he doesn't want to look at my car. And, honestly he didn't want to help me. The car still drove well but it was something that was triggering the code, maybe a sensor, etc. Not much of a help to me. It was your shop sir. This review was not intended for another shop. If you can recall, when I attempted to call, it appeared to me like you didn't want to talk and you responded that everything was well before you had me drive over for nothing.

I ve been here twice now. 1 time to buy parts to straight pipe my truck myself and 2nd time to straight pipe my girlfriends truck. They finished her truck in 25 mins. Best exhaust work in the area.

What is a shop at an issue with my 91 Ford f250 what did someone that I could got a recommendation and it was great. These guys were exceptional and they are good . If you need any exhaust work done do not hesitate to go here. The pricing was a bonus they have a customer for life .very pleased to have a shop that takes pride in their work.Thank you guys

I called around Central Florida for estimates on a muffler delete. I called this place and was greeted exceptionally well over the phone. The service was quick and highest quality. Would recommend for anyone looking for exhaust work!!!!!! Car sounds great. Exactly how I wanted it to sound

Stay away from this place ! This placed used to be one of these best shops around and the new ownership has gone down hill . They recently installed a cat that I brought in to them.. the welds they put on were extremely bad and they didn't even tighten the bolts down on from the cat to the manifold when I took it back they immediately tried to tell me someone else worked on it and they don't do free work and wanted to charge me $65 to put 2 new bolts and a gasket that was lost because of their negligence highly recommended you stay away from there people and this establishmentService: Exhaust

I was referred here by another shop and I am very thankful for that. Alan did such a great job. I can't say enough good things about my service. And the price he charged was so great that you would not be able to beat it anywhere. Thank you Alan.I just wanted to edit my review, because I just found this out. When I took my car in to have some transmission work done, Alan had attached my exhaust to my transmission. It cost me so much more to have my car fixed. The guy working on my car first had to get the exhaust off which in turn made three holes in it that also had to be fixed. I was so upset, but can't do anything other now than to let others know and beware of this shop.

Luis and the team are really good at what they do. Great customer service. I had a muffler shop who dealt with all my custom request for 15 years. They got lazy and didn't want to work on my 370z so I had to look for a new shop. I called and Luis was really helpful even over the phone. I showed up and immediately he advised he could do what I wanted and also recommended things through his experience. They definitely found a returning customer. Thanks for the great work in my 370z guys!

10/10 will return for any exhaust or muffler work. Had a simple rear resonator delete for my 2021 Charger GT. I had called the day before and got a quote which was cheaper than other shops.Price was honored, work was quick and completed perfectly. I'll start by saying if I could leave 10 stars I would.The shop is under new management/ownership, and the family is amazing!I called to get a quote, showed up at the scheduled time, and was in and out faster than I could ever imagine.The price was more than fair, and the craftsmanship was better than I could have ever hoped for.A+

As a women you feel like you always have a target on your back when you walk in to any car repair shop. I was quite surprised when I walk in this business! Teresa at the counter knew exactly what my problem was as soon as I explained. Her knowledge and kindness put me at ease. Alan had my car up and and out the door in no time. The price was very fair and better than a couple of places that I had went to. Would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

Stopped in to get a resonator delete on a Benz e550 coupe. Was quoted a great price and the job was done right. Sounds like it should now. Not loud and no drone but just perfect above 2k rpm. I highly recommend this simple mod for anybody with the M278 engine. Alan does quality work

Did a good job at a very reasonable price. LD saved me over $175 (about 75%) compared to a quote I received from a generic auto repair shop. I will be back when I need exhaust work.

I was in the process of packing to leave town and noticed that the extension on my tailpipe from the muffler had rusted through and had literally fallen off. I called Discount Muffler and Custom Exhaust in a panic, explained that I was trying to leave town but had this issue and needed it repaired ASAP.They called me back within 20 minutes and said to come on by this afternoon and they ll have the piece repaired in less than 45 minutes. We did and they did! The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, did outstanding work at an incredibly reasonably price!! Very happy, will highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality, reasonably priced muffler/exhaust work done!!

While on vacation in Florida with my family, the exhaust pipe on our van broke. I was in a tough spot; I'm in an unfamiliar area, I don't know anyone to ask, and I have to get it fixed quickly. I'd be the dream customer for an unscrupulous mechanic, and I knew it.I checked a bunch of places on Google and saw the high ratings for Discount Muffler & Custom Exhaust. Even though it was 30 miles away, I thought it would be worth it to try them out first. I'm glad I did!There was a long line of customers when I get there at 9:30am, but figured it was better to wait and have it done right and at a fair price. Teresa got me in pretty quickly and Alan did an awesome job getting the van fixed without needlessly replacing a bunch of extra stuff. He was able to make a couple cuts and build a custom-bent pipe to replace the broken area - this is the difference between a craftsman and a run-of-the-mill shop! What could have run me thousands at another shop, cost me a couple hours and $110.You can trust Alan & Teresa to fix just what needs fixed at a fair price, nothing more, nothing less. Beyond that, it'll be done right.I know Teresa gets a bad rap from some of the other reviews, but in talking with her, I found out that she's often up all night caring for the horses she rescues - after that, anyone would be tired & cranky. Beyond that, she often has to deal with customers who are already having a bad day, many of whom have unrealistic expectations about the cost or viability of their requested repairs.Heaven forbid I need another repair on vacation in central Florida again, but if I ever do, I'll come back to Discount Muffler & Custom Exhaust, and my new friends Alan & Teresa!Thanks guys!!!

Took my s2000 there to get a catalytic converter fitted and exhaust leak checked. They replaced the cat and fitted a new gasket. The guys here were professional, honest, and do quality work. I ll be sure to being my cars here going forward. A+ service!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

At first I thought the lady on the phone was rude but once I got there she was super friendly. She just has a dry sense of humor. They put dual exhaust on my 2018 Chevy Silverado and I couldn t be happier with the work. Everything is tight, great sound and good price. I highly recommend them.

Great place! I had went to 2 other places before a friend referred me to Discount Muffler. I am glad I went! As a woman, I always feel I am getting taken advantage of when I walk in to a repair shop. The lady in the office was very friendly, informative and took me out to my car to show me the repairs I needed. The cost was less than half of what the other shops told me! They had me back on the road in less than an hour in a quiet car! I will definitely recommend Discount Muffler to all my friends!
