Best auto shop experience I ve had. Our car s check engine light went on while visiting for the weekend. We were so thankful that they were open on a Sunday and made room for us on the schedule. Luis, the manager, made the experience that much better. He is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience in auto repair. In addition, he took the time to thoroughly explain to us what the mechanics found in a way we could understand. Communicative, thorough, transparent, knowledgeable, honest all the things you could want in an auto shop. We ll be looking for a Firestone in our local area. Thank you Luis and to the mechanics working earlier today!

Had such a disappointing experience here. Took my car for an inspection on Sunday 8am they had it all day, I called to check on it and when I did they said the car hasn t even been LOOKED at yet. What s the point of making an appointment then?? They said they could get to it by Monday I told them yes because I really needed my car fixed.Monday came around they haven t even called me to update me on my car or anything, so I call them. The guys says they re working on it, this is around 12pm. I call again at 2 to check on it, he says still working on it. Eventually 4 o clock comes around and I haven t heard back. I call them and tell em I've been waiting for my car for 2 days and the Manager says he didn t know that and he let me take my car. I told em I was tired of waiting because they also wouldn t update me at all. So I will be taking my car somewhere else!!

0 Stars for unethical practices. This evening, I got scammed by Firestone because they performed and charged for a service without my request or approval.I made an appointment online for a complete vehicle inspection with the car care package $10 coupon. At the front desk, Luis asked me about the oil that is currently in my vehicle and I responded with synthetic-blend and he did not follow up asking if I needed an oil change. I was confused why my car oil was brought up, so I made sure to specify that I only needed the car care package and the services included. Then, Luis took my keys without having me sign to confirm anything or even show my ID.I received an oil change 2-3 months prior at ~88,000 miles with 75-80% oil life, so I had no need for one. Yet, they changed my oil anyway and charged me $80+ for it. Julian was the one to return the keys and accept payment. He stated that my oil was changed, to my surprise, and I replied that I never requested an oil change and it was not on my appointment. I made an appointment online, and the only services I requested was a complete vehicle inspection with the car care package coupon.Julian replied stating that he did not know what happened, but he could not return my car to me without payment. I asked where Luis went and Julian said that Luis left for the day, conveniently. Therefore I, begrudgingly, paid the $100 fee so I could have my vehicle back. He said that I can contact the store manager about possibly receiving a refund, which I will definitely be following up with. I will update this review if the matter is resolved.I ve had Firestone try to up-sale me on their services before, but this is the first time they have out-right performed a service on my car that was never requested or approved. Nothing was requested or signed off on for an oil change. They are simply going off of word-of-mouth and they are lying about it. I was going to follow-up with replacing my tires and brakes with Firestone but not anymore. I am a college student so I cannot afford to be taken advantage of like this. After 30 years of service between my family and I at this location, Firestone has lost a loyal customer.

I want to write this five star review to do recognize two young men named Jackson and Aaron. So today I needed an oil change for my car last minute. I called the location to see if they can come take care of me and they confirmed that they could come in then definitely take a look at it and give me an honest perspective on what to expect, which I really appreciate it. one was working at the front desk. The other one was working as a mechanic. They helped me as a team and gave me the best experience I ve ever had at Firestone. This location is the best!

I want to share my experience with this Firestone. Manager Justin deserves a high five. I appreciate that he went above and beyond by fixing a problem that wasn't his stores fault. He was quick to get my car in and help me. After repeat attempts at a different Firestone that kept giving me the run around. I am now making this my NEW mechanic shop. Sales Julian is also very kind and listening to me with my problem and helping me. I am leaving a happy customer and I do recommend this Firestone on East Colonial Dr.

The guys who work here are nice and I am sure they are doing their best. However, when I go to a place to get an oil change it is because I expect that they can do it better than I could, and instead a month later my drain plug fell off and my engine was ruined. They were very apologetic, but if you want to save yourself from having to deal with the nightmare and backwards greed of the Bridgestone Corporate Office, I d stay away from all Bridgestone companies.

I purchased a lifetime alignment package for my vehicle, I have been in here at least 3 or 4 times to have my vehicle aligned. They have been nice people. I've gotten my car in and out quickly, and they road test to Verify my staring wheel is straight. My tires last, tells me they did a great job!

I would like to acknowledge that you have a stellar employee, Julien, he went above & beyond to help my 75 yr old mother with her car needs. Julien called me to always let me know what was going on with our vehicle. We will continue to come here with our vehicle needs when you have teammates like Julien. Thank you so much!

When I dropped off the car, the front desk gentleman, Aaron said they would call me up with a price and estimated time of completion. I got a call the next day and was given the estimate for replacing the rear engine mount. I got a call that afternoon stating the car was ready. I arrived back at Firestone and paid my bill. When I attempted to give the mechanic a tip, he replied "why are you here? I have not fixed your car yet." Aaron apologized and explained it was an error on their part. I went back home and waited for the call. I got a call back stating the car needed another part but that I would get it at cost. The 'at cost' part was a mopar part that I could get for $53. Firestone charged me $100. When I picked up my car, they had forgotten to install the bottom shielding liner that they left inside my car. I had to wait another 30 min while they put the undercarriage liner back in place. Needless to say, this was not my best experience.UPDATE: The manager for this store called me and he was extremely courteous. He wanted to make it up to me somehow. However, I explained to him it was not about getting a discount, freebie or a coupon. I just recommended that he reiterate to his team that they cross their T s and dot their I s going forward. It s not fun going back and forth to an auto shop when your car is not truly ready. TY Firestone for acknowledging this gap

The price I agreed to was much less than the total once work was completed because they failed to mention that the initial computer diagnostics would be added on. When presenting the cost for approval of work, it needs to be made clear what is being quoted. In my case, my wife was 3 hours away from home and the work needed to be done. However, it feels like shady business practices not to be upfront with the total cost.Speaking with my local Firestone dealer, he said that they would never add the computer analysis into the final bill if the work was performed onsite.

Question 1.- It would have been a 10 but there was a problem with the wiper blades they had in stock so, they had to order some to be delivered which took quite awhile to be delivered. Then the Front Desk person was busy at the time with another customer checking out and time consuming phone calls so, it took a long time to get them back to the Service Technician. After all of that the service tech finds out after opening the packages, that one of them was already broken in the box.Question 2- As a long time customer I know that these things sometimes happen (Murphy's Law), and the crew there at the Union Park Firestone are the best in the business for my dollar and a lot of them I know on a first name basis.

I would put a zero if I could, but sadly cannot. I went to a Firestone location in East Colonial regarding my car not starting and after a full vehicle inspection I was told it had to do with my battery. I bought a brand new battery over two months ago and Firestone tried to con me into buying another one even though it was unnecessary. After going back to AutoZone (the place I originally bought the battery), I saw that the battery was in still good condition and the true reason had to do with my batteries terminal. From one small fix to something they seemed like something huge, I ended up spending hundreds of dollars. Really disappointed as I usually trust FireStone with there expertise and advice. To say the least, I will not be going back!

The worst in General. They just robbed my money. my truck came out worst. Luis gave me my truck yesterday. Just getting out of the shop my engine light starts blinking and my car shaking. I called the shop no one answered. Today I go in to drop it off again. Later on I get a call, Justin saying your truck engine is misfiring. why didn't they tell me this yesterday before taking the truck?

I ve never dealt with such an awful manager as Bob, he was absolutely rude and would not help me find what I needed in the slightest, he just made it seem like he hated his job, and honestly, at this point he should! Please do a favor to this store and get rid of him.

I was turned away with them framing the situation as them being unable to help me with the issue, and after reflection it's likely because they realized after I said I had a warranty they would need to justify the bill to an entity educated on what they were charging for. They tried to claim I have 3 different problems and tried to have me pay diagnostics for all of them, and said I would need to leave my car with them for multiple days while they process the claim with the warranty provider. I have used my warranty before, and it didn't take 3 days, they just did not want to have the warranty provider audit their charges.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The manager and (most of) the front desk service employees are mediocre at this location. They did a diagnostic on my AC and gave me a work order over $2,000....Long story short, they couldn't prove to my warranty company that I needed all the parts they "recommended", so my warranty reps were confused as to why they were trying to make me pay for the parts I really didn't need. All in all, since I ONLY wanted the things fixed that were actually proven broken, they refused to fix my AC completely. And to add, the service manager was being lowkey rude and impatient with me and my warranty reps. I'm never taking my car to this location again. Lowdown and unreasonable.....

Not the best Firestone i have been to. My daughter goes to college in the area and being I have a Firestone credit card it s my first choice but I ve gotten quotes from them and went to another location and it was half of what was offered. Definitely do not recommend for college kids on campus try a different location to save money!

BUYERS BE WARE!!Everyone there, including mechanics and managers are really rude, and don t know what they are doing. Our family member has been taking her car here for regular check ups, tune ups and maintenance. She has spent with them Thousandsss of dollars.(on the picture I show just one of the bills from a regular visit) She bought her car brand new in O6 and the car only had 55,000 miles. She rarely drives it.Our aunt is old so she doesn t understand much about cars. So whatever a mechanic tells her, she accepts. On her last visit they changed her oil.Afterwards she noticed it was leaking. She takes it back, and these crook mechanics tell her It might just be overflowing ...???!!She says ok and leaves. Drives normally until next oil change. Which I decided to do it for her so these crooks don t keep stealing her money. And that s when we came to realize the oil plugs screw thread was completely destroyed! They put some type of glue to stop the leak! The worst part is sinse she has no clue about cars. Didn t even realize her engine was almost dry!! We cought it just in time luckily.I called them. They are rude and say manager will give me a call back.Never does.We call again. Manager is very rude. Seems annoyed and not wanting to help us.Pretty much telling us that we are lying. That they don t put glue on the oil plugs. And since I took the screw out myself they cant help me since there is no evidence but a messed up oil pan thread. But they have in their records that we came back after the oil change because it was leaking. And the thousands of dollars we ve spent with them. But we can t do anything about it. So now we re stuck with having to replace the oil pan ($300) and labor ($200).We are looking into suing this place.
