Beyond satisfied!!! My baby of 10yrs suffered a transmission fail after 210k miles. I searched and found CF transmission. Spoke to Mike and Steve. Towed my baby there and they maintained constant updates. Fair price and didn't pull any typical mechanic okiee,dokiees like I've experienced from other establishments. Honesty, integrity, knowledge and willingness to explain all details sold this establishment to me from the start. They had my baby back in 7 days. All documents, warranty papers are professionally handled. Now they have a customer for life! It's nice to see honest family owned establishments in a world of corporate Greed and payday chasers!!! I highly recommend!!

Had a fantastic experience here. This shop provides great service and takes pride in there work! I had a transmission rebuild and was very pleased with every part of the process. This is the only place I will be taking my truck to get work done. They make life time customers from the work they do. I appreciate businesses like that and support it. I'm a loyal customer. I bring all my vehicles here to get work done. They have forgotten to bolt on my parking brake, and Mike gets mad, takes my picture, and I'm not even upset. Every time I speak with Mike he gets prissy. Not sure why.. There is an old man who works here. I really like working with him.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the staff at Central Florida transmission repair. They go above and beyond the call of duty providing the most professional service. Overall great, from clerk cking me in, to Steve the 'PR' man, easy person to talk to.Not so good with Mike, the 'BOUNCER'. He comes in the scene when there's a flaw... otherwise you just see him walking back and forth with NO communication accomplished with this guy.

My front axles snapped unexpectedly. Had the car towed to this shop and left an online message Tues night, they called me next morning and said they will check it out for me. Gave me a fair quote by the end of the day and had my car ready next day, Thursday, by noon!Very quick turnaround time and professional service. I recommend them no doubt.

These people are liars. They say there's a warranty, but when their work goes bad, they lie to you & tell you they looked at it & there's nothing wrong. My transmission is slipping again just a year later & I'm screwed if it goes out on me. I payed $4000 for nothing. DON'T GO THERE! They will rip you off too

Brought my car to Central Florida Transmission today to get some work done on my car. When I walked into the shop, I was I immediately was greeted by staff and the show room is very clean. Staff here are very professional, courteous and explained things very clearly. Nobody, and I mean nobody wants to hear that their transmission needs work.It's not like I didn't suspected it, but they confirmed it. Being down one vehicle till it gets fixed was another great piece of news. NOT.This place came highly recommended, but I was skeptical. The analysis came through, they gave me a very precise list of repairs and the costs, even payment options. I reluctantly scheduled the work and they did just that. I was given a time table to know when the parts would be arriving, and how long the repairs would take.They were correct on the parts arrival, but they completed the work in half the time they projected. I was happy they overestimated because my time is valuable as well.They treated me like a customer whose time, coordination, and wallet they respected. When we got the vehicle back, it ran better than I ever remember it running. No more vibration, smooth shifting, and the acceleration improved.Being a recent transplant back to Central Florida, I asked them if they'd recommend a local body shop to do a minor piece work, (something down the line), when we went to pick up the car, they'd done the work. It was probably a minor job to them, but it was huge to us. I was truly humbled by their gesture.I'm not always an easy person to get along with and if I'm being honest, quick to complain when things aren't right, so my wife told me I needed to write this review to show our appreciation to the entire team at Central Florida Transmission Repair on Old Winter Garden Road in Orlando.We truly appreciate your professionalism, your quality work, and how you value your newly earned customers.Thanks guys, very much. Living in Florida without air conditioning in your car is not fun. Recently, the evaporator core went bad in my 2014 Chevrolet Cruze and I needed help. While the part is not expensive, the labor sure is as they have to remove the entire dashboard, deal with airbags and then put it all together again.I called a few firms who weren t interested, a few who would do it but for an astronomical price and then a friend told me about Central Florida Transmission.They were courteous, extremely fair-priced and thorough. I was updated frequently on the progress and they just did the job right. Do yourself a favor and use these guys for your auto repair needs. They are fantastic!Service: Engine repair

After a bad experience with a dealership service department, I came here to have my transmission repaired/refurbed. I had been trying for years to get the air conditioning working right on my 1986 Mustang. Other shops told me it was a lost cause but Central Florida Transmission Repair not only proved them wrong but the air is cooler than its ever been. I would highly recommend Central Florida Transmission Repair. I just moved down to Florida to attend College and just bought a car. I was told that the car had no issues but within the first couple of days, the car's transmission started to act up. I was searching around for a good transmission place and heard that Central Florida Transmission was a honest place that would treat you fairly.I decided to give them a shot and was so impressed with there work and their communication with me throughout the whole process. They were honest and did not try to sell me anything that I didn't need. They treated me like I was family and showed that they really cared about me. There customer service was phenomenal and treated me as though I was there most valued customer. If I could, I would give 10/10 stars. I would highly recommend this place and have no need to go look for another shop to do any work that I might need as Central Florida & Transmission does maintence work and breaks. Central Florida Transmission has gained my trust and my respect. Thanks for always doing a great job, your service does not go unnoticed. I will highly recommend this shop to anyone I know.

Good experience here. Bought a used transmission for my car that eventually went bad in a matter of days, then brought it here for an evaluation and checkup of how operational it was. After their inspection of it, turns out the transmission was no good and missing key components for a fully functional transmission. They charged me nothing for the service and even recommended what to do even though they said parts may be hard to find for it. They even offered to install the new one if I got one, but I declined and took it to the place that installed it in the first place. Now mind you. The place that installed it for me doesn't do any inspecting nor rebuilding. All they do is drop and install transmissions. That's why I brought it here. I had a better transmission installed that works and functions like it should. During my experience here, Mike and his team were the best. Even excepted and returned all of my calls . Thanks and kudos to Mike and his team. If I have anymore transmission issues, this will be my place to go.

Had them build a 700R4 for my 69 Chevelle, had a issue with jt and they didn t hesitate to make sure everything was right. I highly recommend using them for your transmission needs.

Incredible experience working with these guys! Theu were expmtremely friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain to me everything I needed to know about the repairs needed on my mustang, even going so far as to take me out to the garage to show me what they were doing and how the repair I needed worked, in this case a new neutral safety switch.I would easily recommend these guys to anyone needing auto work, they truly care about your vehicle and the customer and tell you honestly they're opinions (no bs!).Thanks for an easy, stress free experience!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

My amazing mechanic at jv muffler and tires recommended this place because they don't do transmission work. I trust my mechanic so I trusted them! They did not disappoint!!! I got a rebuild for a great price and in just under a week!! I was quoted much higher and with a longer turn around time at a handful of other places. I will definitely be back in the future if needed!!

My dealerships warranty department recommend them to me. Customer service here is awesome!!!! Chris is very helpful, nice, & honesty! My car is actually still at their shop getting a transmission rebuild, but I just had to comment on the customer service!!! Will update once it's complete!!!!***UPDATE*** 3.31.16 My car is now out of the shop as of today, and it's so far running great. The turnaround time was great as well. Will definitely recommend these guys!

This company was such a life saver. My dad was having issues with his transmission and we stumbled across this company. From the moment we reached out they were courteous and extremely helpful. From start to finish they kept my dad up to date as to what was going on with his vehicle. Mike was extremely professional in dealing with a matter that took place when my dad used the wrong card. Best experience ever!! My vehicle broke down had it towed in to the shop and explain to the manger on the situation with the vehicle, also explain to them that this was my only vehicle and I needed it back ASAP. They had my Transmission Repair within no time and had me back in the road. Staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable with the process of my repair. I recommend this shop to everyone that needs any type of repairs to there vehicle. Love you Central Florida Transmission

We have done 7 transmission rebuilds with these guys and they are yet to let us down. Nice warranty, extremely quick turn around time. Price is always fantastic. We are thankful to have quality people to be able to service our vehicles with, we sell 300-400 cars a year and need to have happy customers. Only wish we had met these guys sooner. They have saved us a lot of money.

Granted there are other automobile repair shops out there that do "repair work", but there is only one shop that I can truly depend on and does exceptional, quality repair, especially transmission repair that I take ALL my vehicles to have it worked on...not to mention for reasonable cost. In addition, qualities such as transparency and integrity are hard to find in repair shop these days. I highly recommend Central Florida Transmission for having these attributes as an owner/company. I don't do review, but my experience with the company is worth mentioning. Great service! Thank you and God Bless!

The experience with the staff and the service rendered is excellent but my vehicle had to be returned after two weeks because the transmission was completely rebuilt and the initial problem returned. My vehicle is in the shop for over a week and its costing me time and money since I have to come to work late and leave early to take my wife back and fort to work and home and I cannot work enough hours to get my work done to ship to my customer. However, I have no doubt that they will not make it right.ThanksBob
