Yesterday, I went to CarMax Orlando after months of browsing and reviewing vehicles to purchase. I reserved a time slot and was 10 minutes past; they still were willing to accept my appointment. I met Jose De Leon, who worked with professionalism and grace, to help me see the new vehicle (2016 Honda Fit LX). Immediately sold by the quality, I said "yes" within 3-seconds of starting it up.What followed was a very effortless and comfortable purchase process by Jose De Leon. They accepted my old vehicle, upon inspection, and allowed me to feel at ease knowing I wouldn't have to individually dispose it myself. Truly, everything from start to finish was seamless and smooth; I have Jose to thank and owe him a deep gratitude of thanks! I recommend CarMax Orlando and Jose De Leon to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

All the staff were professional and friendly. Because they weren't busy the whole transaction took about 30 minutes. Selling my car has never been so easy. I sat inside the air-conditioned building while they looked my car over. I was offered a beverage while I waited. Once they were finished checking the car they gave me an offer for it. The offer they gave me was the same as the one I had gotten from the website. They didn't try to make it less. I accepted the offer, they let me remove all my stuff and they even removed all my stickers for me. It was a great experience and I would recommend Carmax to anyone wanting to sell their car. My daughter bought a car from them 2 years ago and Mark Harris was very helpful and was patient enough to go over the whole contract with us so we knew what we were signing and why. We have had no problems with her car.

I had a great experience at Carmax!! Professional, knowledable, they take pride in serving their customers. Shawn was my sale person. He was so patient making sure all my concerns were met before I drove away in my new car. I was especially thankful how they honor the quote they gave me for my old car. Sold them a seven-year old car with low miles in great condition. Their online estimate was enticing, so I visited as a first-time customer. Polite, helpful staff, although the entire process took over 2.5 hours. I left with a check for the price they offered online, so I was pleased.

Easiest car buying experience I ve ever had! I was able to research cars online and reserve the car I wanted/schedule a test drive. After a 15 minute phone call and a few texts and online paperwork, I spent a total of one hour from the time I got to the CarMax location to the time I left with my new car (and that included the 30 minute test drive). Definitely was a stress-free car buying experience!

Good experience with CM. This is the third car I have purchased from them. Sales people are efficient and nice. They also provided a fair trade in price. This time I was given some miss information. Fortunately everything worked out and we are happy with our purchase.

This is way over due but it it very much much needed. I arrived to the Orlando location with a friend of mine, my two daughters and grandson. We arrived at the property , signed in and took a brief look at the car lot. The first car we saw, we fell in love. It was a 2023 blue Nissan Rogue. We mentioned out loud how much we loved it and sales the consultant Thomas Rivera overheard us and helped us right away. He was very knowledgeable, patient, genuine, kind and is an excellent consultant. We went back to his desk and we chose the exact car we wanted from the lot . He helped my two daughters get approved for their first car. He helped us through the entire process. He is the best of the best! The process took about 4-5 hours but it was worth it. My family really appreciates you Thomas! This man deserves a promotion and he deserves 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend Carmax Orlando to others and I recommend Thomas Rivera as your sales consultant

Got an offer online. Had to change my appointment (3 days early) and they were VERY accommodating. The process went very smoothly and I was in and out in less than half an hour, with a check that matched my online offer.In this day and age of horrible management and customer service, it was sure nice to deal with a company that had their stuff together and treated me so well.

This Carmax sold me my car, I had a good experience all around. Buying the car was fast and the staff was helpful. I brought my car back because of a check engine light and Jerome from the service department was nice, professional, and informative about the situation even though I was a little frantic originally coming in, and kept me up to date until I was able to get my car back in mint condition.

It took right at 2 hours from start to finish, perhaps 30 minutes longer than I would have liked or expected, but piece by piece everything fell into place. I thought the offer for my old car was fair. Everything was taken care of. My online offer turned out to be accurate, no surprises.There was a comfortable place to wait as the car was inspected and paper work taken care of.

I did an express pick up.The salesman didn't seem interested in assisting me while I was there. There was no test drive. There was no vehicle inspection or walk. After Izaya finished the paperwork, he walked me out to the car, and it was not detailed or conditioned. There were marks on the inside passenger baseboard as if someone dragged something heavy on it. I noticed a ding in my driver door where it looked like they attempted to paint over it. I notified the sales manager, and he accused me of doing it without saying so many words. He said, " I don't know when that got there." Well, I know when it did, and it was before my purchase. The sales guy also told me I would be reimbursed for my tag later to find out that I will not, and they're taking it off the back end of my loan. That is unacceptable. I want that money back in my account.Update: Luis said there's nothing they can do about the previous damage as it "passed" carmax standards. Wow, how things have changed there.

I personally had a horrible experience at carmax orlando. The day I purchased my Audi A3 I received a phone call from a sales manager trying to catch me before I left to inform me not to come since they lost the keys to it. I had to wait 3 weeks!!! I was not kept informed and only received updates if I called numerous times. Meanwhile, I had been paying insurance on it (was required by carmax) plus I had to rent a car in order to get back & forth to work. This was over $1000.00 ... when they finally got a key & I picked up my vehicle, I informed them of all the expenses incurred due to their lack of compency to which I was told there was nothing that they could do! I thought the least would be compensation for the 3 weeks if insurance & car rental. They would not even take it off the car price or extended warranty. To top it off, it was a windy day and the yellow bow they put on the hood. Held by a big magnet, slid down and off my hood which scratched it !!! When i showed the salesman this he said if you ever get in touch with corporate let them know about this too. When I asked for contact info for corporate, I was told no one had it. I am very disappointed to say the least and feel I should still be reimbursed!!!Diana Whittington

Very easy and fast experience. Got a quote to sell my vehicle online. Showed up and showed them the quote. Took my car and within a few hours they purchased it for the same amount I was quoted. Definitely recommend bringing your car here if your looking to sell it

The sales Lady was very courteous, helpful and professional. The sales manager was excellent very resourceful and helpful. I had a fast and wonderful experience. We arrived at 8:15pm with our offer, the car, title everything. They were able to confirm the offer, but we were not able to process the paperwork that night because they closed at 9. While I was a little frustrated we had to come back, the return was made easy by the business office. We were able to get everything done the next morning. The offer was surprisingly good, and the hassle it saved us from having to sell it privately was well worth it! It was a 15-year-old Honda, so finding a new owner was not going to be easy!! Thank you, Carmax!

I am not sure why this place has any good reviews. Purchased a car from them in August within 2 weeks of having the car the gas tank busted they fixed that problem and another 2-3 weeks later there was a coolant leak with one of the hoses, they "fixed" that problem another 2 weeks later and the coolant system completely faulted and now they are trying to charge me $6k to fix the car when on their fix the car overheated and blew the head gasket. When purchasing the vehicle they tried convincing us multiple time to purchase the extended warranty. I should have taken this as a sign that they knew the car was completely messed up. From the get go this car shouldn't have been on the lot. They sell messed up cars and scam you into getting the extended warranty because they know they do not check the vehicles prior to selling them or make sure they are operable. We went to CarMax hoping to have a great car buying experience and avoid the buy heys pay here's but at this point we were better off going to one of them. Avoid buying cars here at all costs. Also I would like to point out that the sales man Gerard helped us and assured us if we had any problems with the vehicle to let him know to see if he could help us get into another car... contacted him two times with unsuccess and one time he said he wasn't at CarMax I go to CarMax to get help from someone else and seen him there. These people do not genuinely care and just want your money!!!!

I worked with Robin Valentine and she is amazing. I worked with Robin in 2019 and purposefully found her again as she was brilliant to work with before. She made the trade in of my old vehicle and the choosing and purchase of the new one a pleasure. Robin Valentine should be a manager in my opinion. (I am a director at a company that has over 5k employees and I would hire her as a manager.) Highly recommend working with her. She goes above and beyond and was texting with me before and after hours to assist. Great experience. I wish all car salespeople could be like Robin.

They sold me a car that never should have been in the lot. Was told it had no collisions. It had 3 major ones. The front end was terrible and had a coolant leak. The rear driver door doesn't open. The tail lights have water in them the rear window is crooked it has water leaks and mold and rust. I took it to another location and gave it back for a different one. The manager said this car never should have been sold. Then Orlando took 6.5 hours to send over paperwork to return the vehicle so I could get s new one. And kept ignoring calls from myself and the manager of the other location until finally someone contacted the regional manager to handle the situation I will never go to the Orlando location again

Feisal was so helpful throughout the process. We noticed a couple things that needed to be addressed by the service department when we brought our minivan home, and the service department was able to take care of it the next day with no problems. I visited Carmax's website to get an offer for my truck, and they provided the highest offer compared to other dealers. Despite having a small payoff on the bank loan for the truck, there was a significant balance to collect. Upon taking the truck to Carmax, the representative inspected it, confirmed its condition, and assured me that they would honor the offer.In a swift process, we completed all the paperwork within 30 minutes, and I received a check for the outstanding balance. The service at Carmax was remarkably efficient and exceeded my expectations. This positive experience stood in stark contrast to the dealership where I had sold my previous car a few days earlier. Unfortunately, even after over 30 days, I am still waiting for the balance check from that dealership..
