I ve been getting my oil change from this location for the past 3 yrs consistently since I ve gotten my new car and when I say I will NEVER return back to this location Ever Again. I booked an appointment numerous time and everytime I come in they always pull in another car before mine without an appointment because they re spending more money and I m stuck waiting over 2 to 3 hours for a simple oil change. I m spending my money just like the next person without an appointment so I should be treated with a little respect. From now on I m just going to go to Valvoline for my oil changes from now on.

Jon and Marquis, the salesmen I dealt with were top shelf! The finance guy Jorge as well! The sales manager (won t name names on that one) on the other hand seems like a little tyrant yelling and arguing with the sales and finance people (in full earshot of the whole showroom I might add) while we waited to finalize our deal. That unnamed individual almost killed my deal when he refused to honor part of the deal I had in place the night before that included swapping a pair of brand new tires that I had just put on my old Tahoe onto to the truck I was buying. They charged me $200 to swap 2 tires! Ridiculous! Pretty positive that s what all the arguing and yelling was about! I felt bad for the people on the receiving end of that berating, and loved the truck I was buying otherwise, so I went ahead and paid it! The salesmen made it up to me. But if I were to buy another vehicle from Auto Nation Chevrolet (West Colonial) and saw that manager working, I d probably turn around and walk out as I feel I was screwed out of $200 for an hour of labor that only took 1/2 an hour to do, and shouldn t have had to pay for in the first place!I absolutely love the Yukon I bought! The 5 stars are for Jon, Marquis, and Jorge! They asked for an honest review, and there it is .Todd

Came in to get a new FOB for my car. Old one was rather worn and almost broken so figured it was time.Everyone was very nice and informative on my visit, the wait room was clean and simple; so I was able to relax while I waited for the key and FOB pairing to be done.Twas a bit pricey admittedly, but in terms of my experience here: it was high quality and well worth the wait!

This is the second vehicle I have purchased from AutoNation. both experiences were excellent. This purchase was at AutoNation Chevy W. Colonial in Orlando, Tim White was my salesman and I could not be happier with the whole process. Please call Tim, if you're in the market for a vehicle, you will be very pleased like I was. Thanks, Lee (Ocala)

Stay away from this dealership they are unprofessional and don t care about anyone. I got a call from Mauricio Garces offering me a better deal for a car that I was selling and claiming that he could beat carmax offer and it wasn t like that. I drove 45 min over there trusting in his word to end up with a absurd offer $2k below carmax s offer. What s is the point on asking people to go there? Again very unprofessional people go to another place

Thank you Lenny and Louis for the help you gave me yesterday. They were professional and made sure my needs were taken care of. By far the hole experience of purchasing a car at AutoNation Chevrolet was my best decision. Thank you to the team.

I took my 2021Silverado 2500 for a basic service. I also had issue with my antenna on top of roof being ripped off by a tree limb. They took care of all of my issues and I am overall very satisfied with the services.

I was told what to expect and what my options were so the communication was very good . I asked about discounts and they applied them to my bill so I was pleased with that they performed the work within a day which thru were not sure they could do so that was a nice surprise . Overall I would highly recommend their services .

All of these reviews about shady behavior, poor communication, long turnaround times, "parts delays", lying and flat out ripping people off are all true. I have attempted to have my vehicle serviced here twice and both times was told it would be days/weeks before diagnostics on the vehicle could even be done.Really living up to the reputation of being a shady mechanic. And whenever you start asking questions they just point the finger at someone else.Don't bother with your generic response either autonation There's no fixing this until there's new ownership and new management. BE WARNED, do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to spend a ton of money and not have anything fixed in a reasonable amount of.

My initial experience was not great, with the service advisor blaming my oil leak issues on whoever did the last oil change without checking anything. As it turned out, the leak was from the oil pan, which was a warranty issue not caused by a simple oil change. I told the advisor that the pan was the issue because the Chevy dealer I bought it from was too far to go back to(Tampa). They did the work, but since there were two oil pans, they did the wrong one, and I found out on my 9 hour drive to the mountains. I took it back to the original dealership and got it fixed. Fast forward to the next oil change, and it was fine until the salesmen were making fun of a handicap man saying they would trade him for his chair to a truck, not professional or human and thry didn't fill all the fluids or check the air on the tires. The newest issue, I called them the week before Christmas for a question about my TPMS sensors since I paid for an extended warranty and no answer or call back then I called again and the operator said he promised a call back and here we are Jan 8th and still no call back. It is really poor customer service, and now I am forced to drive miles away from my home for service because this dealership isn't helping. I have dealt with AutoNation Toyota and never had an issue and thought it would be the same, not the case, unfortunately.

Kyle was terrific to work with. Unfortunate outcome for my vehicle but the service staff was prompt and professional. I am always weary seeing service centers and would recommend this location.

I purchased a CPO 2020 Corvette from AutoNation and live out of their area, but when I called for service history information, I was lucky enough to get Austin Bennett on the phone! What great service from a Veteran that this fellow vet recognized from general conversation. Thank you for your service to Country and the service you provided me. AutoNation customers are lucky to have you!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

Dealership seems to be too big to know what's going on. Constant game of phone tag and getting stuck in their phone trees being transferred to people who say they can't help you but will transfer to somebody else.

These people can not be trusted, do not buy a vehicle from them and especially do not use their service department. I bought a 2018 Chevy Camaro SS on August 15 2023 from Enterprise car sales. The car had some minor issues that they offered to have fixed at Autonation Chevrolet on West Colonial. The problems were 1. Fix trim on passenger side convertible top 2. Fix passenger power seat that does not recline and grinds when moving on the track 3. Fix both sliding covers for convertible top 4. Fix defroster which is blowing air no matter what setting the AC is on. Along with these repairs that any rookie mechanic could easily handle the transmission started acting up immediately, it was shuddering when shifting. I had the option to return the car to enterprise but was assured that the repair would be covered under the warranty. Autonation also assured us that the repair was covered but they did not take the proper steps to get paid from the warranty company so when the warranty company would not pay them they decided to hold my car hostage. After having my car for 22 days and being told that the repairs had been completed on day 13, I had enough. They held my car hostage for an extra 9 days claiming that they were trying to negotiate payment that was denied because of their mistake. This is not only unethical but is illegal in Florida. So to get the car back we started legal action contacting the State Attorney and Consumer Affairs whom I am still working with. We also contacted the warranty company and enterprise auto sales to pressure them to pay for the repairs so we can retrieve our car. We let Autonation know about us contacting the State Attorney so they immediately cut all communication but the warranty company finally paid so we picked up the car. These people are so incompetent that only one sliding cover out of 2 for the convertible top was repaired and absolutely nothing else was fixed. We even asked them to tint the windows for $300 that we were going to pay and they even forgot to get that done. The one sliding cover they did get working broke again after using the convertible top twice. The transmission is still acting up and all the other repairs that weren't done needed to be done so enterprise told me to take the car to another dealer to get the issues fixed. Carl Black is the new dealership who has inspected the car and informed us that the transmission repair that the warranty company paid $4000 for was never done, the torque converter still needs to be replaced. The problem is that the warranty company paid once already and the warranty company says that they sent someone to autonation to verify the repair so they won't pay again. Back when we contacted the State Attorney there was a 2 day period where no one at autonation would respond to our calls and then they suddenly released the car. They even told us they they didn't respond to us for 2 days because we spoke to the State Attorney. It is obvious that if the warranty company inspected the car Autonation put the old torque converter back in the car after we contacted the State Attorney. So now we will be working with the State Attorney's office, consumer affairs and our attorney to take legal action against these fraudsters. If you think Autonation corporate cares, think again. They acted concerned but have done nothing to help and have not been communicating with us. We will also be organizing regular picketing at this location to warn the public not to use this dealer. They have horrible reviews and we saw many other unsatisfied customers having issues, some customers were actually being yelled at by the service advisors so if anyone out there is interested in helping with the picketing let me know. So, if you don't want someone to hold your car for 3 weeks and charge you a lot for not repairing anything don't use Autonation, ANY AUTONATION!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Transmission repair

I got scammed. Brought my car in for a broken window regulator which is a $300 job at the very most and got charged $600. They took 4 days to fix it and said it was going to take two days at most and peeled my window tint when I got my car back. I called them several times to ask where my car was at and got sent straight to voicemail, when they finally did answer the phone I didn t get a straight answer of what was taking so long talking about some extended warranty when my car is already passed warranty. Like I said scammers.

5-7 day wait just to have a diagnostic performed. I paid a transmission shop to run the diagnostic, took them all of 15 minutes, and the transmission has failed. This is $6500 repair that's under warranty, but Chevy can't even run a diagnostic for a week, then Lord knows how long the wait it to have repairs performed. Can't get an actual "service manager" on the phone. Very poorly run business. Don't buy a Chevy and expect them to help you when needed.

I was leaking coolant so I brought my car in and they were going to keep my car for 7-10 days. Those days went passed I have a warranty on my vehicle so I provided my service advisor Justin with the warranty information. He stated I needed the water pump and thermostat and the warranty was only paying $900 out of $1763 so I called my warranty company and asked them why there only covering 900 if the water pump is supposed to be covered and they told me it is covered they do not know why the service advisor will tell me I have to pay $800 since their only covering $900 all their trying to do is scam people for money, Once my vehicle gets fixed I ll never bring my vehicle back here again!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I try to give the benefit of the doubt for why human beings are incompetent at times, but when my appointment is on a Tuesday and my car had been there the following Friday and then lied to about the appointment, saying the car is in service, then the car was not serviced for about 7 days AFTER Tuesday. I even drove by and saw the car in the same exact spot as when I left it in the parking lot. The (service) text messages were a lie about my cars status, and then sent to the wrong person, telling me to pick up the car. When I called the Service person I dealt with is not at work or couldn't be found. I was hung up on two different times due to the operator not knowing how to transfer a phone call. Why can't you have ONE person look up in the system the status of my car!! Electric cars are NOT trust worthy and are more expensive than they are worth. Please SEND MORE MECHANICS TO TECH SHOOL!! You are about to make EVERY car Electric and NO ONE CAN FIX THEM? Get your priorities in check!!Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

I took my car into the Auto nation Chevrolet West Colonial on November 16th after waiting close to two weeks after I made the appointment to fix an oil leak coming from my motor. I was told it would be 3 to 5 days for them to do a diagnostic. After 6 days I tried calling them to find out what was going on. It ended up going to a voicemail, so I left a message. I also tried texting the representative on the text chain they started with me with no response. The next day I still hadn t heard from them so I called over and over again until someone picked up the phone. They said my car was diagnosed and I had a leak from the valve cover gasket and a few other problems. I told them what I wanted fixed and that gave me a quote of around $1100 for the valve cover gasket and two coolant lines, and they would call me when it was ready. Days went by (November 28th ) so I tried calling again voicemail again, so I called over and over until someone finally picked up the phone. I was told my car would be ready to pick up at 5 PM that day.As I was on my way to pick it up, they called me and told me the engine was still leaking and they would have it diagnosed again. December 1st 16 days after I took my car in to be repaired, they still had not re-diagnosed it. I finally told them I was done and I was going to take it somewhere that was capable of fixing the problem. I was still billed for the full amount of over $1100 dollars and my car was in the same state it was in before I took it to them. I would not recommend taking your car to this repair shop. My car is a Chevy and if the Chevy dealer can t fix it in over two weeks, it tells me that they are not capable of fixing a problem like this and I would take my car somewhere else. Also their communication was horrible. out of the 16 days they had my car in the shop I was only contacted once and that was to tell me the problem was still there after they fixed it.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
