CROOKS/SCAM!! Paid $2,550 to get this engine shipped to Indiana. It s a 5.3L V8 for a 2006 GMC Envoy Denali XL. Motor looked clean and nice until I did a compression test and cylinder 7 had zero compression. Took the heads off and carbon was built up so bad the valve wouldn t close. The timing chain was loose, so we replaced it. Oil was black and dirty as hell! I could have went to the junkyard and got a better motor for $500 than what I got from them. They re liars, cheats and con artists. Thankfully we believe it s fixable, given my team and I are great mechanics. The block is good but heads needed rebuilt. This company doesn t test their engines like they say and I will NEVER do business with them again! They take junkyard motors, spray paint them and sell you expensive junk, which I m sure they lie about the mileage given the condition of the motor they sold me. I wish I could give zero because I would! DON T BUY FROM THEM, SCAM!!!Update: Just took the crank off to inspect and the Crank, Rod & Main bearings are all spun! Something told me to check them after looking at the reviews because I almost installed it but reviews like this helped me. I got ripped off!! If you buy an engine from them after seeing this you re a moron! I had to pretty much rebuild this motor. ITS JUNK AND HAS COST ME $1,000 FIX! Save yourself the headache and money and buy from a trusted source. They have an F rating with the BBB! Advertised 80,000 miles, more like 220,000 miles! SCAM/THIEVES!! Pictures tell the truth about these thieves!UPDATE 2: the block was bad, this engine has been rebuilt already once before. It s in the machine shop now. Heads had an oil leak because the block needed resurfacing and the head wouldn t seal. I have an easy $3,000 in rebuild labor and parts plus the $2,550 I already paid. I thought I could rebuild it but it was all for nothing because the block is bad. This engine has now cost me $2,550 to purchase, $3,000 for the rebuild which didn t work because the block is bad and now the machine shop wants $2,700 to hone and resurface it. I might as well just have flushed all that money down the toilet dealing with these disgusting thieves! Look at all the other bad reviews! They probably create different profiles to make their own reviews because I can t imagine anyone saying anything good about this company. They are crooks and they caused me so many problems that there s not enough characters to explain it all. Easily avoidable, had I just read the reviews before buying but I was in a hurry because I had a buyer but I couldn t sell them a junk P.O.S like these sadists did with me!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! CHEATS, LIARS, SCAMMERS!!

I bought a motor off of eBay from here. On eBay they mysteriously have a 100% satisfaction rating. I left a negative review that somehow got removed. They claim to have a qc department but that entails a 10yo with a spray paint can. All or their motors are sitting out in the elements. I elected to pick up instead of delivery. Cylinders were full of rust from standing water. Intake and exhaust valves open simultaneously. The spark plugs were swimming in oil. They never pulled the oil pan, valve cover or even the plugs. They painted everything including manifold mating surfaces. The motor was core at best. Omar didn't even blink at the refund. Scam artists.

In my opinion this is a BAD sellers. Do not buy from them. See the photos. This is a supposedly 78,000 mile engine I received from them. Cams were all pitted and scared. Engine had sludge and sand inside of it. They say i have to install engine and see if it fail during warranty period. If id does then remove it and send it back to them. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Yeah, Great dealing with them got a engine shipped out we got it in for a 2013 KIA FORTE with 63k on it the car had 158k 3 years ago. Car still running great.Thanks again Alex and Hector.From the Timman

I received my motor today. I was told I was buying a low mileage jdm motor with less than 100k miles.The jdm motors DO NOT have oil coolers, this motor has the us spec waterpump (with outlets for oil cooler) and the oil cooler itself.The service interval for timing belts is 80k-100k so IF someone did do the timing belt, it would be brand new and I doubt it would be a Gates belt.The water pump has been leaking, again not am issue you see on these motors with less than 100kValve cover gaskets on these motors don't start leaking until well last 100k and the toyota gaskets are black, I can see the blue fel-pro valve cover gasket. The half moons are sealed with BLACK toyota fipg, they are sealed with an off white rtv.There are painted over heat tabs on the block not branded A&A AutoThere are more bald spots in the crosshatching than on the motor I have with 270k on it.This is not the motor I was told I'd be receiving, this is not what I paid for.

False advertising. They don't fallow any safety procedures like the post in the pictures. The motor on pictures is not the actually motor you'll be getting. I took delivery charge and motor arrived damaged, the man in charge of the warranty center threatened me that if I didn't take the delivery that day since he promised motor was fine I would get delivery fee charged for sending it back. ( the motor in fact was ticking and knocking) I'm looking to get a refund now after all the labor costs and still have no motor. Dealing with the warranty feels like a nightmare the man over the phone is very rude I think he feeds off that just arguing with people all day.

They sell complete junk engines they claim are under 100k miles, More like 300k. Warning do not buy unless you like giving away money. They will rip you off and not care.

I recently purchased an engine for a very high price. The pictures showed a very clean looking engine with an intake manifold and all the sensors. I knew when I bought it that it didn t come with accessories such as power steering ac water pump alternator etc. I read the full description including the part about only covering the block and heads but what I didn t expect was the fact that I would need to have everything except the block and heads or buy it all new. The intake manifold was bad had a huge hole in it. I messaged customer service about this and was told they only cover the block and heads and that they don t charge a core charge so that I can use all the parts off my other engine. Never heard of any place charging a core charge on an engine. I could off got an almost complete engine in state for $1000 cheaper but I went with A&A because theirs supposedly had only 92k miles and looked really clean. It looks clean because they spray painted everything. All the sensors and plugs. All the gasket surfaces and all the ground locations. Long story short I now have over 6k into a engine swap after paying their outrageous price and buying all new sensors and accessories. And a hour of cleaning up the engine with a wire brush. I hope that the engine internals are as good as they looked in the ad and not just pictures from another clean engine. So far everything has been very poor quality. Hopefully my review can save someone else the hassle and the money from dealing with A&A auto salvage.

I ordered an engine from these folks on EBAY and it took a month for the motor to arrive. When it finally did the mechanic installing the motor was replacing valve cover gaskets and found one of the cam lobes pretty severely scored. The mechanic contacted Alex and A and A Auto and Truck and it was conveyed to him that a replacement engine would be sent out. I, as well as the Automotive shop, have tried numerous times to get a call back from Alex as to when the replacement engine will arrive. In Alex's defense I believe he did try to call me back but we are 3 hours different in time zones so he called at 5:15 am my time. We are still trying to get a call back. Alex asks that only a Name and Phone number be left on the voicemail, no questions can be asked until he calls. Still waiting on that call.

I still haven't received my refund for an engine I returned immediately. It was never even unstrapped from the pallet. Thank goodness for a reliable bank. I wish this entire establishment would just be struck by a meteor in the middle of the night and put this scam out of business.

Don't buy from, they sell junk that sits in the rain open then they paint it. I bought a 2100.00 dollar piece of scrap, shouldve read the reviews. Purchased the engine and did not have a chance to install until the 90 days was up. Understand it was out of warranty, but engine sat inside my shop for 3 months until we got a chance to install it, it was totally ruined. No customer service, Alex is rude and says bro every other word as he tries to say inspirational quotes, that don't apply while he's not trying to help at all. "Bro you gotta wake up bro and look into the mirror and say bro, bro you gotta do it bro" there is bad people here.

Sold us a faulty engine through ebay. Engine failed after less than two months of driving/less than 2000 miles. Ordered a jeep wrangler engine which is a 3.8 inline. Opened up the failed engine and found out they sold us a town and country/caravan transverse engine which they poorly modified and butchered for it to fit the wrangler. The oil pump pickup tube was from the town and country setup which cannot be used with the wrangler oil pan because it is shorter and causes oil starvation. They deceived us by telling us the engine had 77000 miles, spray painted it and charged us $2000 for the engine. In short we asked for a partial refund but they (Alex) refused, got very ignorant and threatened to write us a bad review. Attached are the photos of the engine failure and poor workmanship. The engine also came with numerous screws missing from the oil pan, the oil pump pickup tube was loose and the wrangler mount bolt holes filled with rust (never came out of a wrangler like they kept insisting).

I purchased two motors from this business. One of the motors had been underwater, and was rusted inside. It also had a cracked housing on the timer box. They never would come pick it up nor did they refund my money even with me notifying them right away.The second motor has a thrown rod. And even though my mechanic told them the motor was not strong and had other issues they refused to refund that one or replace either of them. Beyond that they are rude and disrespectful hang up on you, yell at you, refuse to even Answer the phones at times.They should not be in business. They are ripping people off and selling junk motors as good engines.

Bought engine through ebay and the timing cover had a crack. Cost me extra to fix. After talking with A and A and asking them for compensation, they gave me more than I was asking for. Engine is running good.

UPDATE BELOW! STAY AWAY! Red flags everywhere. Ordered a Mustang 4.0 V6 for a customer and they sent me one from an Explorer. They tried to argue and say that it was freshly pulled from a Mustang but that is a load of bologna. Keep in mind they grinded off the engine identifier code on the block and spray painted the whole thing grey. They eventually gave a refund but that was a mess in and of itself. This is not the first time they've been accused of this among other deceptive business practices. Just take a look at the other 1 star reviews that have had similar experiences.UPDATE: In response to the comment they left on my review... The Explorer and Mustang 4.0L have completely different valve covers and intake manifolds among other small differences. The Mustang uses a crossover style manifold and the oil fill cap is on the passenger side. The engine they sent me had the oil filler cap on the driver side and a single large intake chamber also on that side. As mentioned previously, they grinded off the engine identifier code on the block. It was 100% a spray-painted core Explorer engine that had been sitting for years. The fact that they tried to lie to me and on Google reviews to save face is hopefully enough to sway everyone away. Also, I requested a refund immediately upon discovering this but Alex gave me a nasty attitude and kept giving me the run around on the phone. I made at least fifteen calls over the course of a week that got NOWHERE. It wasn't until I dragged the engine there later with my own car and went in person that he changed his tone. They are a bunch of crooks with zero integrity and every ill intention.

Our Dealership and Customer elected to aquire a used engine from A&A. My only issue is that someone at A&A decided it was a good idea to remove the lower oil pan then carve A&A in it then bolt it on without sealing it. I did not expect to have a massive oil leak. I understand the Oil pan is technically extra but lets have some Decency and at least warn me about that. Overall the engine ran good and had healthy compression.

Got a engine that was not the one advertised on display picture and later told the picture that was displayed was stock image. The engine we received looked like it was wrecked or nose dived dropped. Had so many problems when check by our certified mechanic and told we paid too much for a severely damaged engine. Spoke with Alex at Auto and Truck and sent pictures he said the engine looked fine to him. Spoke to him a couple more times with rude comments and hung up on multiple times. Had to file a charge back and it turned into a big mess fighting with Visa because Alex lied to them on how he handled the situation. Visa will only hear the merchants side and he knew exactly what to say to them. Also lied to us on what our mechanic had discussed with him over the phone to us. Scam artist at its best and the we value our customers is a joke along with the warranty.. stay away from ebay listing from Alex.Beware of what this company did to us and how they treated us. If you need advice ask me on FB I have emails and text messages from Alex. This was all the problems so far from our mechanicThe engine fan is broken and water pump arm is bent and is now leaking fluids, oil pan bent, gaskets were no good, important parts of the engine were masked by spray paint.. who knows what else would had been wrong if installed completely.UPDATE FROM WHOEVER RESPONDED PROBABLY ALEX.. The below statements are all lies to cover and everything that is stated we did is even more of a bigger lie. This is absolute ridiculous to even read a made up story as the one from the poor response lies from Auto and Truck. Stooping to the lowest just shows how far a narcissistic person will go.

I just wish I could give 0 Stars! This place it s one of the worst place I have order from. They are rude, and they don t respect anyone they hung up on my face and yelled at me. I m also a lady and I think every man should have a little respect, or treat women s how they would like they re mother or daughter to be treated ! My engine was $3,298.00 that they don t want to refund my money back ! They were supposed to send me the motor in 10 to 15 days. I called in the 15th day and they never sent the motor and it was never on its way! I also don t know why they sell all the Engines between 70k-75k miles! No matter year or model! SO PLZ READ!! Don t EVER, BUT EVER PURCHASE FROM THIS TRASH PLACE!!! ZERO STARS

I purchased a Mustang GT engine. Which was 600 more dollars than the F-150 engine. The shipping was fast and the motor came with everything in the picture. I decided to read more reviews and another person actually had the same experience. As I was taking apart the engine I noticed the timing cover belonged to an F-150 engine. The valve cover also did and the camshafts. The oil pan was also for an F150 engine. Everything points to it being an F150 engine. After noticing all these things I was extremely disappointed because I was excited to get my car back up running. I did decide to just put the engine in and it runs fine but it s still the wrong engine. All these guys did was put a different intake manifold on. Thanks for wasting my time AA Auto and Truck.

Got a JDM used engine from these guys for my 2005 Mazda 6S.The motor runs like new, quiet and lots of power. My mechanic was surprised how nice the engine was.Price was great and so was the service.Thanks Alex!

Bought an engine from them off of eBay took a month to get it ,my mechanic installed the engine , engine was bad right away, Engine had a 90 day warranty they did refund me for the engine but they wouldn't pay for any labor costs even though they shipped me a bad engine. NOT THE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS
