I walked in cash In hand looking to purchase one of there used bikes. to start the owner didn't seem to eager to make a sale he showed me a couple bikes inside all of which were filthy an you can see they have been sitting the pricing he gave on one of the Harley's seemed fair around 7 k but man everything else in there for the condition just wasnt it they were wanting close to 4 k out the door for a used honda with over 50k miles. the time it took for him to find the keys an grab the miles I had already spoken to 2 other dealers needless to say I called an Uber an went to a real dealer. Also no offense but your shops in the stone age an unwelcoming id give a 1 star but they do answer the phone an the shop was open for business

Beware do not take your bike here! The owner is incompetent in every sense of the word. First he attempted to carve the symbols in the indicator switches instead of ordering the part. Then put the clutch back with missing parts a spring and boot cover (pic provided). It originally went in for tune up, which turned in to plugs, fuel filter, injectors. 1500 dollars later the bike is still not running. DO NOT TAKE business here!

DO NOT BRING YOUR BIKES HERE. This guy has no idea what he s doing or his mechanics . If you need your bike rebuilt bring it to someone else. Didn t get my bike back for 4 months for just a top end rebuild.blew up twice. Didn t even comp me for labor. Over charged an hour to make an extra 100$. Had him resprocket my back rim. Took 2 month to get my tire back. Overall terrible shop. He needs to retire and shutdown. Waste of time an money on the shop.

I think this place is great for getting some quick service done but I warn anyone from doing anything past routine maintenance. I brought my old 1996 Kawasaki Vulcan in for routine maintenance when I first bought it as a project bike 3 years ago. Used them to get service done and they changed front tire, brakes, oil, front seals, etc. One day the bike wasn't starting so based on initial experience I trusted them to get it squared away. I wasn't expecting much since it was an old bike.. I got quoted on around 300 for carb service and was told they got it started but the gas tank was rusted. They quoted be about 750 for a replacement tank installed. I said sure get it done. That was nearly three years ago. I just got my bike back a couple of days ago now. Now to be fair, COVID and part scarcity made a reasonable excuse for the length of time. However, what I am not fine with is the storage and care of my bike while they had it. When I went to pick it up it was outside parked in the elements with a flat tire. The brand new tire I had purchased from them was completely dry rotted to the point of not holding air. The saddle bags are completely dry and cracked and falling apart. The wiring harness is cracking and the head lights and speedometer don't work anymore. I paid them over 2k to fix and repair my bike and now I have to spend another 1k just to fix what broke due to poor storage. I get the bike is old but leaving it in the Florida rain and sun for enough time for brand new tires to dry rot about 6 years earlier then they should have isn't right...

Great Service! They fitted my bike in and did the service the same day. My wife wanted it for the weekend and they made her very happy. Excellent Work and Communications. Even found a missing clamp on the choke cable and replaced it with a used one at a fraction of the price.

I hope nobody goes through what I dealt with, it's a self owned business so needless to say they work on their own time so hold no expectations whatsoever . My advice is to try and avoid this shop as best as possible if you're looking for a pleasant experience.

What a great place to bring your bike! We had issues with our bike not starting after having dinner in Orange City Florida. We were stranded and not knowing the area too well because we are from Ontario, we saw two people leaving Orange City Cycles well after closing time and approached them to see if we could keep the bike there in a safe environment over night. Not only did Jim and Donna (the Owners) open the business for us to push the bike in, they were able to order us the part we needed at a much lower cost than the other two businesses in the area we called. We admire their honesty and integrity and in a heartbeat would not hesitate one minute to bring our bikes there again. We highly recommend them!

My boyfriend and I brought our bike to there because it wasnt starting. When we got it back 3 weeks later it was in worse shape then when it went in. The mechanic came to our house to work on the bike and still nothing. We have called and talked to the owner and nothing. They have not even atried to make it right. This is extremely bad service. Now we have to find another mechanic we will be getting an attorney.

Here at orange city cycle, we do top notch work, our dremel hand is amazing STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The switch was supposed to be replaced and this is the quality of work that they do. Take your money elsewhere, you ll be happy you did.

I bought a 1976 Yamaha RD400 that I found from a private individual, it had been restored 8 years earlier. I bought it because I rode one in 1981 and they re a lot of fun. After riding it for 15 minutes it would bog down and lose power, I took it to a local shop in DeLand that I won t mention, he had it for 2 months and then told me he wasn t interested in working on it, said he wasn t familiar with it. I called Orange City Cycles and the owner told me he s worked on several over the years. I took it to him, but he told me he is behind and at the moment short staffed, which was okay with me I just wanted it running good. A month and a half later the owner called me and said it was fixed, he said the carbs were out of sync and had a lot of trash in them, kinked throttle cables and a bad flasher relay. I was excited to have it back and running perfect. Not sure about the other reviews, but my experience was a good one. Thanks Guys. Great Job.

Orange City Cycle may not be the flashiest bike shop in town but the courteous and friendly service make up the difference 10 X over. I am proud to say that Jim and Donna have become very valued friends. Their customer service is 5 *****. Even though I have moved south into central Orlando, I will continue to make the drive north to take my bike to them for service and maintenance or just stop by to "chew the fat". Their selection of clean, low mileage bikes provided me an incredible bargain; a really fine bike and the accessories I needed to make the bike my own special cruiser.

I have been using Orange City Cycle for various motorcycle related parts and services for over 10 years. The parts and service quality is outstanding. They also really care about their customers. If you are tired of being ripped off and poorly serviced by dealerships, this is the place to go for all your motorcycle and ATV needs. It is the local guys like this that deserve our loyalty, especially when they earn it like they do. Thanks Jim and the rest of the Orange City Cycle team for everything.

Horrible!!! Listen to all the past reviews and do yourself a favor and take your bike elsewhere! These people had my boyfriends bike for THREE MONTHS never to resolve the issue. He finally had it towed to his normal shop and they resolved it in less than a day! His normal shop believes this place actually caused the issue after "attempting" to fix it. Their idea of fixing it was just throwing on parts and hoping for the best.Anyone that has previously had issues or reviews had same issues-- clearly a concern! We will be looking at legal action.Owner is definitely rude and standoffish as all previous reviews state.Again... DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!

If I could give less I would!! Who keeps a motorcycle 3 months and then returns it with $400 worth of more damage!!! Beware!!! If you place any value in your bike... DO NOT TAKE IT HERE!!!!!!!! I have to say also..... the owner.. quite a piece of work ... which is evident from his responses on here! Wow! Please please heed these warnings that you are seeing!!

FIRST TIME MOTORCYCLE OWNERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! they charge us 100$ for a diagnostic but didn't even fully inspect the motorcycle they completely turned a blind eye to the fact that the brake box was bad luckily we checked the brakes before taking off if we hadn't have done that someone could have ended up seriously hurt or worse. They also over looked a major short in the electrical and several other issues (including a bad chain). they also told us they had cleaned the carb which they didn't. the actual stuffed they fixed they charged us 500$ for a part that cost less then half of that and kept the bike for a month we also gave them a new clutch cable to put in but they put in their own and charge us extra we didn't even get our cable back. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS THEY ARE ALL FROM FRIENDS AND WORKERS OF THEIRS. SERIOUSLY I TRIED TO IGNORE THEIR BAD REVIEWS AND GAVE THEM A CHANCE BUT IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. DO NOT GO HERE

By far the worst motor cycle place ive ever been too I took my motorcycle there 3 months ago and within one day my 1200 zxr had more problems than what It originally had..Only reason I gave one star was just so can I post this review NEVER AGAIN!!! THEY COSTED ME 600$ PLUS the 900$ I gave them before I had all these problems so in reality I gave free money.....To a business that doesn't guarantee your money back ! You guys suck!!If anyone reads this take my word for it don't do it you'll regret it.

So I wanted to have new handlebars installed on my Harley Rocker C. I ordered the Roland Sands 16 inch King Apes and all the braided cables as I wanted to have it done right. The only thing I didn't get was a brake line as it had to be measured for.I called several places to get quotes for install to include Scooters, Chopper Design, and Orange City Cycle.Scooters was an outrageous price, and both OC Cycle and Chopper Design were nearly identical price to do the install. I went with OC Cycle as they had been in business 30 years and they assured me I would be happy with their work.Long story short, the costs started adding up for this and that, extra wires, switches, soldering, shrink-wrapping wires, extra labor etc...I was told Harley put different switches on that made it really complicated. Hmmm. After me having to track them down to get the story on why my bike was taking so long (since they don't know how to pick up a phone and call me), they give me the breakdown on what it will cost to install bars on my bike (now twice the quoted cost). I can do that or else come get my bike.I authorize the charges and tell them to go ahead and do it (against my better judgement) since I was moving 4 days later out of state and I still was trying to trust them.I pick up my bike, all looks good.I ride it home.I make my move out of state, get here, realize my horn doesn't work and now...my bike wont fire up and wont even turn over.I check all the contact points, swap the battery, everything basic that I know how to do. Nothing!.I call OC Cycles and speak to Jim. He tells me he's sorry but there's nothing he can do. Tells me he knew the horn didn't work but they wanted to get me my bike quickly so I could move. As far as it not starting, nothing he can do and Ill have to take it somewhere to get it worked on.Im shocked that they would give it to me, charge me, and the bike isn't complete...not running, horn doesn't work (not that I really NEED the horn, but it worked when I dropped it off).Faulty wiring, sloppy work, late, no calls, double the price and I get bars that look badass, but my bike doesn't run. Thanks Orange City Cycles and to Jim for taking my money, doing sloppy work, not caring, and now I have to go somewhere else to get his work fixed. Awesome customer service sir.Save yourself the time and money and frustration, go somewhere else ... anywhere else if you want your bike taken care of!

Do not waste your time and money. first off i wanted my bike carb to be jetted right so i gave an call he told me he can have an look at it and have it out of the shop in like 2 days so i went with it. first week gone by no call or word about the bike so i shoot an call to see what the problem was and the owner tells me sorry we have been backed up from bike week and the bike was there before the event started. He apologized told me my bike would be an priority second week gone by i call again he claims i need new carbs because those old carbs wasnt for my bike i need some mikuni carbs so i agree thinking he the professional and i so say go ahead with the plan i just need my bike to be fixed in a week i have an trip i wanted to take. To ride the quad another week gone by give the owner another call he answers with attitude in his voice talking about my carbs was being specially tuned for my bike which i failed to understand how that can be possible with out the carbs being on the quad. first time seeing the bike after a month i noticed oil was leaking which the bike never done that before. and i also realized that the carbs on the bike is the same ones that was on there before just replaced with new ones i mentioned that those was the same exact ones he says yes there are the old ones was bad but i thought the carbs that was on there was not for quads ? i get home ride it noticed the bike was still leaking oil and was running hot so i assumed it could have been the old gas still in there so i replaced the gas the next day and oil was still leaking from the bottom i go to do an oil change and the drain plug was literally finger tight i unscrewed it with my HANDS i changed the oil took it for another ride the bike start to bogs really bad at low rpm which i thought was normal which is exactly what was told to me by the mechanic at the shop the bike never done that before either i thought maybe its the new carbs or something so i do research and my bike is not jetted properly SAVE YOUR MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE i could have blown my engine and those a holes knew it!!!!!!

They couldn t do an easy job on a pw80. Thanks for nothing. Don t waste your time here.EDIT: I didn t pay you idiots to do it. I gave you guys a part and an engine, the part had to go in. Easy job couldn t be done. They told me it wasn t a pw80 engine. Got it fixed up and the parts in and now I m riding my pw80 around in the yard. Again, don t waste your time

Terrible experience here a few years ago. I don't trust them at all! I brought my bike in with one problem and left with more. Demeanor was unfriendly and standoffish, prices were higher than others, and service was unacceptably late.
