This is an absolutely wonderful family owned shop. If you want to find a group of mechanics that you trust and a wonderful group of office staff, this is your place to go.They priced their work fair and not only that but had a great turn around time. The nice lady that handles the scheduling and front desk (sorry I forgot your name) was very open in communication and called me several times to ask permission for a parts order or let me know they found additional things that needed repaired on my old 2010 Chrysler Town and Country before they ordered the parts and performed the repair. That is a trustworthy service right there.Highly recommend to anyone in town or any locals of the Ocala area.

Transmission rebuilt in 1995 Ford F250 Diesel Power stroke Ext Cab 4WD 7.3 L, then they found a few other leaks, replaced the Serpentine belt and water pump. Should last us the rest of our life. Very happy with the excellent care they gave us and the reasonable rates. It was tough for us to come up with the money, but we were able to and it was still better than the price of a new truck. The crew and staff are very trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

I had my 2000 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke at another shop. The transmission had been rebuilt/repaired twice, and had failed both times. I paid the shop $3,400 and they refused to make good on the repair. Not only did they refuse to make good, but they blamed me for breaking the transmission. Told me that my tune was the reason it broke. After taking it to turners transmission, they got my truck in w/in a couple days of me dropping it off. They called me after they'd gotten the trans torn apart so I could come up and look at it. I was told that in no way did anything I did to the truck cause the failure. They went over my options with me and the costs associated. They were awesome through the process. My truck now at 405k miles runs/shifts better than it ever has. Not only did they do great work. When I went to small claims court with the other shop to try to get my money back, Skip, the owner offered a break down of what happened to the transmission, and and a signed letter. Both on a turners letterhead to try and assist with my case. I 100% without hesitation would recommend turners transmission for transmission work.Service: Transmission

I have a 2019 Cadillac Escalade. I get my Escalade serviced at Sullivan Cadillac. I had Sullivan s take the Escalade for a ride to check it. I asked Sullivan s to not service it until they let me know what s going on with it and the cost. They came back to me with the cost $1647.81. They showed me the work order everything but what I went in there for. So I went to Turner Transmission. They took it out for a test drive to check it. They told me what the problem was and fixed the problem. Rebecca the receptionist in which I would call her one of the guys, was very courteous and friendly. The owner and his team did an excellent job. They didn t waste anytime. Thank you all so very much. The owner and his team was about their business. Excellence.

Great experience. Fixed my resto-mod CJ7 perfectly. Skip and his team were honest, ethical and organized throughout the entire rebuild of the transmission and transfer case. Will definitely use them again if needed.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

They had my car all day; asked me what's wrong with your car, found nothing, then charged me full price for wasting their time . Extremely perplexed! They are not worth the money! Don't waste your time .Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

100% recommend. I went to three other shops before visiting Turner. Let s just say the operations here looked so much better I took the chance with them and thankfully I made the right decision. I came in with a horrible transmission whine that I thought was a bad pump. Shop decided a full rebuild was in order and I was exited. We had some issues because of a cracked transmission case that threw the whole project off the rails but the honesty and quality of work really showed when they made the situation right and got me fixed up. Turner was not reluctant to just buy me a whole new unit even after the rebuild was complete. Wow what a rough life my truck has had. Waited until the 15 day warranty checkup to leave a review. So far so good feels like a new machine again. These are good people respect them and they will respect you.

I took my car to this place because I suspected the transmission fluid was leaking & my car wasn't properly shifting gears. They supposedly checked the fluid & ran a diagnosic check. They said all codes was good, no issues with the transmission or the fluid. The same day I took my car to my mechanic he showed me the transmission dip stick & the fliud was dark brown, over filled & smelled burned. None of the technicians at Turners reported this issue to me after paying 125.00 for a diagnosic check. This is misleading, dishonesty, robbery & I am very disappointed! They customer service is terrible. If you are looking for honesty you will not find it here. Keep searching...

I can't say enough about this establishment. From the first phone call to the time we picked up our car it was a pleasure and there was no anxiety or hassle of any kind. The woman who answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and informed us of the process when it comes to extended warranties. There was absolutely no surprises. Based off my experience thus far, I was referred to these folks. And after a lot of drama from other big names and dealers, these folks helped me tremendously! Rebecca and Skip and the rest of the family, got me back running. 12 month warranty and if it does anything wrong, bring it back right away. These are great people and I hope to keep a great relationship with Turner s Transmission.

This is an honest family owned shop that stands behind their work. A business that has been around for more than 50 years never survives otherwise. I brought my truck in this past week and Skip worked very well with me. I know a dozen other people that have had work done there over the years and no one I know has had a bad thing to say about Turner's. I would highly recommend them for any of your transmission repairs.

Our transmission broke while we were on our family spring break trip. Thank God for Turner Transmissions Service Inc. and their towing company, they helped us after calling 5 different places they were the only ones who did not hesitate to help us. They made our sad experience into a learning one, and they were able to help calm by 5 year old who were having a little attitude. They are amazing people, and I'm glad that everyone else turned us down because we got to go to a family owned place that made us feel like family.

I am very thankful for the folks at Turner Transmissions. I called and the lady answering the phone (I think it was Rebekah) was very kind in trying to help me. I had a leak on my rear differential. She did her best to see what she had on her schedule in a few days. I explained that it was rather urgent I have the truck looked at because I had another 1.50 driving to do and I was afraid I would do more damage, Rebekah said "just bring the truck right now." The minute I pulled in she had a tech drive my vehicle around and pop up on the lift. The tech showed me what was going on. They were booked solid today and tomorrow so the only thing they could squeeze in with short notice was the diagnostic. The tech was up front and said he could add more oil just to get me to the short destination for today. I have to call back tomorrow as the tech has to look up parts and see if they have in stock and get me on the schedule. They were extremely helpful in squeezing me in when they were so full of appointments already. I greatly appreciate them diagnosing the issue and working with me. I highly recommend and they all seem very experienced. This was my first time using them. Thank you Turner Transmission!

My son's car has been in his garage for over a year because we were told the repair to overhaul the transmission would be between $2000-$3000 and he could not afford to fix it. We were given Turner Transmission's name and number and thought we should get it done or get a second opinion. They were wonderful!! Very honest and upfront and repaired the car for a fraction of the original cost because what were were told was wrong with it was not correct. It did not need a new transmission!! Car was repaired immediately and it runs just fine. Highly recommend this place!!Service: Transmission

Great people. Very informative and professional. We use them occasionally for services on our vehicles at my place as work and I had the opportunity to experience it personally on my own vehicle. Very satisfied and I highly recommend Turner's! Thanks again everyone at Turner's. So happy to have my truck back in great mechanical condition! Skip is an amazing technician. I'll never use another shop.

Outstanding!!! I can not say enough about the team at Turner Transmission. I recently moved back to Ocala from CO, and experienced car problems along the way. The shop I brought it to in Arkansas said it was the transmission. Once I made it to Ocala, I had Turner Transmission diagnose it... They provided honest feedback, that it was NOT the transmission, but in fact another problem with some recent work I had done. They went above and beyond, and worked with me to get the problem resolved. My Jeep is now safe to drive and back on the road.. all Thanksto Rebecca and the Team at Turner Transmission. Thanks again!

Asked about a estimate on my transmission and the Office clerk belittled and laughed at me when I was explaining the type of problem my car has been goin through. It s ok to take bad news but don t insult a person intelligence as if I m not understanding what s going on. The clerk only tried to pressure me into giving them 100 dollars to hook up the computer reader to my car I already had my car scanned at a different shop I just wanted to price check . I don t Recommend this shop mainly because of bad customer service

Transmission repair is costly and complicated, and you are at the mercy of the repair shop. In this case that s a blessing. Miz Rebecca and company run a 100% honest business and do top notch work. Great service to my 2008 Dodge Charger. The transmission started shifting hard and giving a shutter when I took it there. Because it was over Christmas I lost a day of time to work on it. I received calls from them keeping me informed of the status and of course the needed repairs. The given estimate to replace the transmission with a rebuild and the actual cost were right on. I would go back, hopefully not because of needing a transmission replacement (LOL), to have work done on my car if needed. Very much recommend going here if repairs and other minor work is needed.Service: Transmission

I went to Turner's Transmission for a maintenance service on my Transmission, staff is very friendly, I was very satisfied with their work, I also had a problem with my gear shift, I like their honesty bout could be 2 diff things, and if fixed wrong prob ,would have to charge more money to fix other repair, I would recommend them to all my Friends & Family. Thank you for taking care of my Baby

Friendly BUT my vehicle sat for 2 1/2 months with no ability or willingness to repair it. They blamed lack of parts but couldn't explain or define which parts they actually needed.They also said they had "out of town" travellers that had to be addressed ahead of mine. I did say this was not my primary vehicle and they assured me they would look at mine next.Never did. (I did agree to pay the $100 per hour rate) they didn't charge me which is good because they didn't do anything.I towed it in and towed it out- not fixed.Frustrating.
