Awesome Team! 2004 motor home rv w/03 F53 chassis felt like tyranny shutter under load, I thought! They diagnosed problem found engine misfires under load. Chris had Rex hook up diagnostic tester and take me out on 441 hills which showed several cylinders misfiring and 2 cylinders real bad under load w Overdrive activated.When I declined having them replace plugs and coil pacs because I could do that job myself, Chris waved diagnostic fee and told me if I ran into any problems give them a call they even have mobile services.After finishing plugs and coil packs no shuttering/vibrations in idle or under load.Thank You Team, your new customer JD

Chris, the owner, was very accommodating to fit me in quickly with my crazy schedule. The work they did was pretty extensive. He explained everything to me so I could understand what needed to be done and offered me a great warranty. The price was fair and my car sounded like new when I got it back quicker than I expected.Thanks Chris and big thanks to all your workers.Susan

I have to give these guys a ton of thanks. The transmission went out in my girlfriend's 2012 Cadillac and I had passed by this place on my way to her house several times. She had already been quoted over $7000 to replace the transmission by another shop, and I suggested we take it here because they were close and were a transmission shop. We got it over there, and dropped the car off, in two days they got back to her with a quote for the transmission and a couple other pieces related to the AWD system in the car. Their quote for the complete repair was a little over $5000. Two weeks later the car was complete and off we went with it. Well not 2 days after getting the car back it sprung an exhaust leak, I told her it sucked, but it was probably already an issue, and you need to take it back to them and get a quote from them to get it fixed. They took the car in and found the leak, fixed it, and we went to pick it up, hit her with no charge for the repair, even though I'm pretty sure fixing the trans didn't cause the exhaust to leak. Cars been running fine since then. I cannot give a high enough recommendation to this place, great customer service, fast, accurate work. If my car wasn't still under factory warranty, this is where I would be taking my personal vehicle. Thank you guys so much!!!

I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a good and honest mechanic. Everyone is SO friendly and inviting :) I had an emergency this morning and called and they got me right in. They were a huge help! As soon as I got there I was offered coffee and all kinds of snacks, drinks and food while I waited and chatted with everyone until my car was ready. I will definitely be returning when needed!

Will definitely have Trans Max do any future service on my Lincoln!The owner Chris Pozek is extremely knowledgeable(really knows his stuff and how to run a business). Great job and great price too.His service advisor, Lisa, is right on the ball, really knows her job. She is a super baker, treated us to homemade cake and coffee while we waited for transmission service.Both Chris and Lisa are personable, and friendly, and they care about the service they provide.

Chris and the crew at Trans Max Transmissions are top notch! I live out of state with an elderly mother in Ocala. When my mothers car was in desperate need of a new transmission I was very nervous that we would get taken advantage of. Chris held my mothers hand as if she was his mother. Chris found ways to keep our costs as tight as he could and the work got done in expert fashion! I could not speak higher of the experience with Chris and the Tran Max Transmission team and would recommend them to anyone in need of vehicle service.

We had the transmission in our Jeep completely rebuilt by Trans Max and from the time we stepped into the door we were impressed. Everyone was nice, professional and very engaging which proves they are all good down to earth people. The work was done quickly and correctly at a very fair price. The shop even did some small repairs that were unrelated at no cost because they knew my wife loved her Jeep. I would highly recommend Trans Max to any and everyone!

The team at Trans Max is excellent. They are honest and truthful, two very important qualities in a company you are doing businesswith. They did the repair I asked for in a timely manner and saved me money by not selling me something I did not need. It was good to find a group who has the customers best interests at heart.

I'm so happy I found this place. They were able to accept my vehicle at the last minute. They kept me updated on service and costs. When they finished my vehicle ran great. I feel safe and not taken advantage of at this shop. The lady at the front desk is super kind and went above and beyond helping me. Thanks so much! I will return. Highly recommend. Excellent service. I visited Trans Max Transmission on 1/30/24 and on 2/5/1024. Both times Lisa and Chris greeted me with a joyful hello and then offered me a cup of coffee and a cupcake or Lisa's friendship bread. My Honda Pilot was quickly attended to and Chris made a point to sit next to me in the waiting area to explain the diagnosis. He directed me to the first step, the least expensive step, to address my Transmission shudder. During the 2nd visit, the least expensive first step was installed in my Honda. He had his technician clear the subsequent codes, (they were expected codes), and told me what to do and what to watch for over the next 30-90 days. Chris is a U.S. Military veteran and honors all that served with outstanding service and respect. GO SEE HIM!!

Chris and the crew were absolutely awesome! They went above and beyond to help me under a really expensive and unfortunate situation. They were upfront with everything from the start and the customer service was just top notch! They offer multiple financing options and really work with you. Honest, Honest, Honest! I took my truck in because my wife drove it and said the brakes were soft. She demanded I get them checked. I didn t think they were that bad but, I took it in anyway to be safe. After 30 minutes the owner said There s nothing wrong with the brakes I cannot charge you for brakes when you don t need them. Come back if anything else is wrong. Merry Christmas. When I asked if he was sure he said I m sure I ran a complete diagnostic on it to make sure. I m in the business of selling parts and service but, I won t sell you what you don t need. I guess there are a few good people left in the world. I thought it was all bad. Now I m probably going to take my wife s jeep over to him. If we have to JustEmptyEveryPocket at least we know it ll be for parts and service we really need. Way to go Trans Max.

Chris, Lisa and everyone at Transmax are way above top notch! They helped me get my parents truck repaired that another shop tried to take advantage of them. Chris told me from the initial call I made to him that he may not be the cheapest in Ocala but he would promise the quality of work that was done would be the best. And it was! They got my parents truck and had a diagnosis and a game plan to fix it and it was done as promised in 4 working days. The price was fair in my opinion in what work was completed and with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty I couldn t pass it up. Go to them with your transmission needs, you won t be disappointed!

I have never been to a more friendly, caring and honest auto service center that does amazing work and will never try to sell you something you don t need. No matter where you live in Ocala or surrounding areas they are worth the drive. If I could give them a 10 I would!!

If you re looking for great honest people, this is where to go. We bought a car that had a masked transmission issue. The second day of driving it, the drive light came on. I took it back to where it was purchased from and they could do nothing to repair the extensive internal damage. Transmax was the second shop we took it to for the issue. Chris and Lisa were beyond wonderful. They kept me informed on the progress of my vehicle and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the place is spotless clean! The work is also backed by a 2 year warranty and competitively priced. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the outcome. Veteran s Repair ( Transmax) is A+++

I had my RV transmission repaired there. They saved me $$$. Also did repairs to my V-10 Ford motor. Replaced motor and transmission mounts, fan clutch and belt. Very professionally done. Very good people. Highly Recommend.

I'll be a life long customer of TransMax. They fixed my car's transmission in 4 business days for $500 less than I was quoted at a chain auto repair shop. They helped me get financing and they helped us with early drop offs and late pick ups. They kept us updated on the status of the repair each day. On the drive home, I felt like I was driving a brand new car. The manager wanted to follow up and check on the transmission in 30 days, so they stand by their work. Overall, the provided a level of quality and service that is hard to find.

This shop is a dying breed. Chris took time to talk with me and to hear my thoughts about my vehicle. He didn't try to upsell me in any way and addressed all my concerns. He did a complete Transmission fluid exchange including a new transmission filter. He replaced the transfer case lubricant as well. He checked both differential oil levels and reported no issues. He not only met but exceeded my expectations and being new to Ocala, I needed to and have found a full service auto shop 4 miles from my home. His whole shop operates with the honesty and integrity unheard of in this crazy world we now occupy. Thank you Heavenly Father for leading me into this business 2 weeks ago.Lisa, his administrative assistant has great people skills as does Chris and I felt welcome from the moment I entered his establishment. Kudos to all!

There aren't enough superlatives to describe our experience with Trans Max. The staff is friendly, honest, and genuine. They take the time to listen to what the problem is and work on it until it's fixed. We had two previous mechanics who were unable to diagnose the problem, and quoted prices for "possibilities" that were extreme and expensive. Trans Max fixed the problem at a reasonable price in a reasonable time, and the staff was upbeat throughout the process. They will be our "go to" for all our cars in the future!

My father dropped off his transmission to be rebuilt. My dad is 72 years old and a veteran. They took great care of him. I stopped by to settle the bill with them. When I mentioned my dad was a veteran. They gave him a great discount. What they did for an old Veteran was commendable! Thanks again Tans Max!

I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH!!...This is the BEST place to go for service! Chris and Lisa at Trans Max were extremely helpful. They were able to get my car in for service in short notice. My car had an oil leak for about a month and other shops were not able to find/fix it... Trans Max was able to find the problem, fix it and remove one concern off of my shoulders. I was in for service the day before Thanksgiving so now I have one more thing to be thankful of!

I am sure they deal with all types of patrons, and they are very busy, but just slow down a little during communication. After our communication improved I found Chris to help me, and explained to me with detail what they where doing, and was very descriptive. I did tell him about my military family, and that is why I chose them because of the vets that work there, and I wanted to do business with them, and their web page was great also. I told Chris that I was not in a hurry, and to take his time, and I know not all customers are like that. I mentioned to him my Heart Failure, and he was very considerate, and receptive. The next day he explained everything, and my options for the repairs, that I owed, and it was completed that day, but I couldn't make it because I was not well. He told me to take my time, and i picked up the car the next day. Chris even gave me a discount, and extended a free diagnosis that I will use. The tyranny is working great on the old 2005 Deville with 227,000 miles. I want to extend a sincere thanks to Chris, and his team. Job well done with consideration for the customer, and trying to keep the cost down with a discount hit the ball out the park.Thanks to all, and especially to those who served. GOD Bless!

We had issues with our van that another shop messed up and Trans Max was available to help us out with not only fixing the issue but had the best customer service I have ever seen in a shop. The manager Chris is amazing and all the technicians helping were great. They actually rode with us in the van to hear the issues we had and helped us the whole way.
