My friend of mine brought a vehicle there,an RV to get repaired. They told him that they charged by the hour. However, they didn t tell the truth and the fact that every single time they touched an item they were charging a minimum charge of an hour. He had five different jobs that were literally five and 10 minute jobs and they charged him instead of a half hour for all the labor they charged him 10 times the amount. He had just had new rear brakes put on the vehicle and had them inspected a month before and only had put 200 miles on the vehicle and they charged him over $1000 for parts and labor for something that wasn t needed also.Go there at your own risk! Make sure you get everything specifically in writing! Read all the rest of the bad reviews!

These guys do business with integrity. They are courteous, respectful and do an honest job for an honest price. Their greatest attribute is their excellent communication that respects your time and intelligence. No jargon-just a kitchen table -level explanation that helps you understand the scope of their work. They also offer an online service history of repairs/maintenance of your car that could really come in handy when you want to sell it.They also walk the walk when it comes to knowledge: their mechanics are ASE certified, which will save money over the life of your car.I d recommend these guys to anyone.

5 star business! Very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Went in for a diagnostic on my 38' gas class A with either engine or transmission issues. After test driving the tech came back and ran a diagnostic test, found the likely issue. The manager came to me and thoroughly explained what they believed to be the problem, he suggested adding a few more minutes to be more certain about the diagnostic before I committed. Once seeing with my own eyes what the tech felt was bad, I had confidence in the diagnosis. Management discussed the price and time frame and it was a no brainer because I had envisioned a mega bill. They had it repaired and waiting for me like they said! I will continue to use them for my service and repairs.I highly recommend this company! To your entire staff, THANK YOU!

First time taking our coach in, and was referred by a fellow IRV 2 member .The original quotes were for diagnosing costs to repair the dash AC and replace cable that controls tilt functions on the steering column.AC compressor had seized on us on the way home from a trip to Ohio. We are the second owners of a 2013 Tiffin Allegro Red 38 QRA.The previous owner had the system recharged several times over the years and when we purchased it, it seemed as if it was working. The previous owner had disclosed the tilt issue and told me it was a broken cable.Anyway $ 3761.oo dollars later the AC blo ws cold and they were able to reset the position of the tilt to accommodate me.When I was going through the intake process Charles asked how soon I needed the coach, and I told him I didn't need it back right away .Almost a month later the coach was ready. They replaced the dryer and expansion valve vacuum tested the whole system and put it all back together. To replace the expansion valve, the dash has to be removed and then replaced., which is expensive .As far as the tilt the cable didn't break but the piece the cable attached to had broken off the steering column. The day I took it in, there were RV's all over the lot. In fact, I parked right beside a newer Newmat Essex.Long story short it was expensive but I felt I was treated fairly and would use their services again.Charles and Kyle were in charge of the process and the rest of the Staff was very friendly as well .After having spoken with Charles about the time issue he said it fluctuates and when I picked our coach up there weren't nearly as many coaches waiting to be serviced.Mind you I took our coach in right as the snowbirds were heading to FLORIDA .

At Last a Repair Shop I am Comfortable With!I had always taken my 2007 CRV to another shop closer to me but it was very difficult to get in. When I had trouble getting my CRV to start, a friend highly recommended PatRicks. I got my car started and drove over there. He said they could start on it the next morning so I left it with him. By the next afternoon they had found the problem and called to let me know. It was ready the next morning. They replaced the starter motor and now it starts up like it should. This is only the second major repair I've needed but I was concerned about future repairs on such an old vehicle with 170k miles. He assured me everything else was in great condition and I should be able to continue driving it for years. In fact, he said he wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country and back :) I felt very comfortable with having my vehicle there and I know I've found my 'forever' mechanic!

Took my Jeep in a week ago to find out why my check engine light came on after paying for a full diagnosis somewhere else a couple of weeks prior. Thank God for the mechanics at Patrick s. They found the problem and resolved it the same day at minimal cost. Thanks guys! I ll definitely be back!

Very grateful to have Patrick s close by to keep our vehicles in good running. They re always forthcoming with what should be done and what is suggested , with no pressure whatsoever. Will also give be a heads up to let me know if it cannot be done right away, before bringing the vehicle in.

Outstanding service from the team of mechanics here. Charles went above and beyond helping find the parts for my truck as I was in a jam with a broken serpentine belt. PatRicks is definitely my top choice!

Had our f-150 towed to Patrick s with a very bad coolant leak. I had went all over the motor looking for the leak determined it was coming from the intake at the back of the motor. Called Patrick s and ask for a price to replace intake gasket. They called back said it was not the intake gasket but was around the thermostat which was very visible and NOT LEAKING as I had went all over the motor looking for the leak already and there were ZERO leaks at the front on the engine. He now says I owe him 500 dollars and nothing is fixed still leaking just as bad as it was ( leaks all coolant out in 5 mins) Now he says he needs to replace the intake gasket like I originally ask to be done but it s gonna cost over 1000.The worst part is CHARLIE the guy who answers the phone bold face lied about the problem and changed the price with out the job done.THESE GUYS ARE DISHONEST AND NOT VERY GOOD MECHANICS.*HAD TO GET TRUCK TOWED FROM PATRICKS TO ANOTHER MECHANIC SHOP To MAKE PROPER REPAIR .they really caused me some undo grief when if Charles had just been honest NONE of this would have happened.

Im a life long ocala resident I had family in from TX their motor home was showing a check engine light so we recommend this co. Big mistake. So you run a 300$ plus diagnostic just to tell them nothing except go to Ford. This is not how you treat people especially a veteran of our armed forces. This is bad business will never recommend this company again.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We are so glad to have PatRick's as our auto repair place this past several years. This week we had a tire go bad while driving on the interstate. Luckily we were able to get to our exit, and went straight to PatRick's. Even though they were quite busy and it was almost the end of the workday, they fit us into their schedule. They replaced our two buckling tires. PatRick's cares about their customers, and it shows!A year or so ago here was our review: We have used PatRick's Auto Repair four or five times now. Each time we have had great service with a smile. The office and customer waiting areas are clean and comfortable. They explain the situations well, do a good job fixing the issues, and charge a fair price. We are grateful to have found PatRick's.Thank you PatRick's!Services: Auto engine tuning, Wheel alignment, Battery, Oil change

This guys is a crook. I called to get a quote on an engine swap and he said it would 19 hours. I watched my ex so and engine swap in about 5-6. I guess because I m a chick he thought I was an idiot. Thankfully called another shop who is obviously way more experience and can do it in 9 hours for under $1k. Thanks Omar in Belleview !

I had a positive experience at Patrick's Auto Care for oil change and alignment on a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV. Dealer recommended a fuel injection service at 38k mileage and Patrick's Auto Care advised this service is not necessary until about 75k. Employee Kyle was very professional and knowledgeable over the phone. I appreciated the honesty and integrity of Patrick's. On site, Charles explained everything that would be done for the oil change and showed me a list of items they check including tires that I wanted them to add air if needed. I feel the folks at Patrick's Auto Care are very trustworthy. Prices seem to be average for the industry.

PatRicks installed a NEW $400 fan motor incorrectly on my Dutch Star diesel RV which failed, They then reinstalled the old motor incorrectly which failed in Micanopy. Affordable Truck Repair in Gainesville spotted the bad previous install & alerted me. I photo documented all installs & after reviewing, it conclusively shows Patricks charged me $840 labor for bad work plus they destroyed a new $400 fan motor. They have not honored their 12 month/12k mile warranty & will not refund any money for their mistake which cost me over $2500 to repair. Please contact me @phowardgso@gmail if you want proof, I would not do business here again. Update-Got a sizeable refund from PatRicks working through the Wells Fargo fraud dept. Photodocument everything before & after he does work to protect yourself. Thank goodness I did but it was still an almost year long fight

I got my car towed here to get repaired. A few days after the repairs they called ME to see if my car was still ok. I've been to a lot of mechanics, I've NEVER had one call me back to check on my car; I truly love this bit of checking in.Tbh they may take a lil longer than I would like to get to the job (I try to tell myself it's because good mechanics are always busy) but they are ASE Certified Mechanics so I now have peace of mind the job is getting done right.I never leave reviews but felt obligated to share my experience, I would definitely recommend & will be going back here if anything else is needed!

Needed tires and alignment for my RV. PatRicks did an excellent job at reasonable prices. Later needed repair of AC system and they handled that quickly and efficiently, getting me back on the road. I highly recommend PatRicks for all your RV chassis work.

Price was as quoted. Didn't add any fluff. Fixed it well and knew what they were doing. Prices are reasonable**update- make sure when you take your vehicle in with 2 matching Napa batteries that you leave with both the same. After having work done here, our truck seemed harder to cold crank. After opening the hood, we discovered one of our good Napa batteries had been replaced with a very corroded everstart battery. This is the last place our truck was serviced, and it was for brakes. Someone must've needed a better battery and thought we wouldn't notice.

Great place to take your RV. Very attentive and fairly priced. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with RV but if it does, will definitely go back.

I have a 2005 Damon Intruder. A slightly older rig but in great shape and I trust Patrick's to keep it that way. They did both required and preventative maintenance for me and the work was top shelf all the way around. I had done, Brakes, Bearings, Racers, Chassis lube, Oil Filter, Transmission fluid change, Generator service, Serpentine belt replacement, headlight replacement. One of the many things I really appreciate about them is their knowledge of the quirks different units have. ie. I had asked about the steering pump that was making a little noise at times. They said with my chassis type that that was a common issue and wasn't an indicator of a problem of any sort but true to form checked it out anyway. That's the kind of insight that only comes from experience that will give you piece of mind when adventuring out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks guys for all of your skill and excellent work! Found my permanent maintenance guys!

Patricks's was our savior! My husband was traveling back to Indiana from Florida with our newly ourchased RV when the check engine lights came on! He was broke down at a gas station until someone mentioned going to Patrick's for service. He was able to the the RV over to Patrick's for service. They found the issue (a blown hose) and were able to fix it so my husband could make it back to Indiana. Without Patrick's, my husband would probably still be in Florida and missing things with his family. We are forever grateful for Patrick's and highly recommend them for anyone needing quick, friendly service. Their team was phenomenal and very quick to diagnose the issue and get my husband back on the road home. Thank you, Patrick's!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We broke down on our way from Ohio to vacation. We called PatRicks ,they told us that they would get to our truck as soon as they could and even recommended a tow service. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, we had to spend the night right down from the garage. They recommended the hotel we stayed at, it was very nice. They got us back on the road within 24 hours and didn't take advantage of us with high charges. I would highly recommend this business to everyone, they were all so very compassionate and professional.

Excellent service. Honest people. Prices are pretty average for the industry but thats to be expected. Whats important to me is that they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need or charge you extra for imaginary services or fees. They're straight forward and get the job done as quickly as possible and in a very professional manner. I will always go back to them for my future needs and highly recommend them to anyone!!

We have been a customer of Patrick's Auto & Truck repair every since we moved to Florida. We love bringing our car there for service. We have always been treated with the utmost professionalism. Their customer service is impeccable. We have always been satisfied with their work and felt that the price we paid is more than affordable and honest.

We took our diesel RV to PatRick's for an oil change, and are glad we did. They were knowledgeable about the precise product our unit needed and had it in stock. If we had taken our RV to our local oil change spot or if we had done it ourselves, we would have likely screwed up with the wrong weight or formulation product. While there we also got some RV education, always a good thing. We will definitely go back to PatRick's.

Brought my vehicles here for over 5 years. I ve tolerated the 6hr hour oil changes. But after today I m not coming back. The whole reason I brought truck in was for 4 new tires. The guy behind the desk and I picked them out a few days before. But I also needed front breaks and transmission flush. Along with a laundry list of other recommendations they completely made up and later admitted to. Dropped the truck of in the morning 9am and they said it would be done by 5pm, 4:30 rolls around they said they couldn t finish it and it would be done first thing in the morning. I agreed because they usually take forever and I expected it. Then they said it would be done by lunch but didn t get around to call until 2pm. I show up and quickly realize I have my same tires. I left without ever getting tires. I would not recommend ever coming here

Our generator wasn't working. When we tried to start it, it would immediately throw the breaker/shutoff at the battery. My husband suspected the starter was bad and took it to Patrick's for diagnosis. They checked and said the batteries were dead so they jump started the generator. The safety breaker was thrown and they had no idea and thought the batteries were dead. They jumped the generator anyway, WHEN THE SAFETY SHUT OFF AT THE BATTERY WAS THROWN. My husband called them and told them about the safety switch not being put back on and asked them if that was going to cause problems or change their diagnosis. Now, the transfer switch is bad. Prior to the starter going out, there were no issues with coach power. The starter is repaired, generator runs perfectly, but the transfer switch is blown. Patrick's ignorance of where the safety breaker was located and not resetting it, then jumping the generator, has caused more problems. Expensive problems. We cannot recommend any rv service that is ignorant of where safety breakers are located and there by, causing more problems. Just by reading the responses from the owner on reviews should give everyone cause for concern. Also, estimate given to replace starter was $1300. Repaired for $278.

PatRick's Auto is my new 'go-to' for all my automotive needs. A while ago, new to the area, I was having trouble with my old truck and consulted a highly recommended repair facility, but they refused to work on my vehicle because they said it was too rusty. On my way home, the vehicle broke down so I had it towed to PatRicks because their tv ad resonated with me..."We can fix ANYTHING!" And they did! I was so happy! Several thousand miles later, after traveling across the country a few times, towing a horse trailer and an RV, the check engine light came on. After receiving conflicting information about recommended maintenance and repair from a dealer and a popular oil change facility, I wasn't sure who to trust. That's when, once again, I turned to PatRick's Auto. They had me on my way in no time at all at a fraction of the cost, and they dismissed the laundry lists that would have cost thousands. My tuck has a little over 211,000 miles, and with the expert help of PatRick's Auto & Truck Repair, I expect to cross the 300,000 mile threshold!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

They wanted to charge me over $800 for a single wheel bearing replacement. They told me that's about $400 for the parts alone. Bear in mind that is only 1 wheel. The most expensive bearing/hub assembly I could find on line for my truck was $158. I bought 2 online and did both my front bearings and hubs on my own for $300 in just over 3 hours. I'm grateful that they found that my ABS issue was just a bad wheel bearing but that price is insane. Still ended up paying $115 for the diagnosis.

This was some years back. I dropped off my fifth wheel for a wheel bearing repack. Picked it up a few days later. It hadn't been touched. I spoke with the lady in the office, who called in a shop person, and much yelling was heard from outside the door. I had to come back the next day to pick it up - after they had actually done it. But, they would have been quite happy to have me pay and drive away with a suntan. Once burned....(Addendum: I'm impressed that they keep their records seemingly forever, but I can see why after reading some of these reviews. They denied everything that actually happened, as I'm sure they did with the rest.)Service: Steering & suspension repair
