Brought my 2005 6.0 diesel Excursion for diagnosis on a hard start when hot issue. My truck is only at 120k miles and in amazing shape so I wanted to make sure it was diagnosed correctly.I spoke to Cameron and inquired about bringing in my truck. I figured with my mileage that it may be an STC, standpipe or dummy plug leak causing the hot hard startTook the excursion over and he diagnosed the excursion and also recommended changing oil cooler and EGR cooler. My oil-coolant deltas were around 15 degrees so I know I needed a cooler sooner than later.Here is the thing. Diesels parts aren t cheap. Diesel labor isn t cheap. Going with Ford parts versus aftermarket is smart. The reality is that going cheap on Diesel engines usually bites you later.Cameron and team finished my truck in a few days. My excursion runs and drives awesome and the hard hot starts are gone.I am very pleased with the communication and workmanship from Groeb Motorsports. I mention communication as my first attempt was via email and Cameron called me to discuss. He called to to go over the estimate and to discuss the processFive Stars to Groeb.

My truck was in and out of this shop for a period of roughly 6 months and a cost of over 10k. I had nothing but issues.Issue 1: Communication. It was common for me to call to check on my truck to hear that it was already finished.Issue 2: Incorrect installation of parts. My upper control arms were installed without the cotter pin. In other words, my wheel could of literally dislodged itself from my vehicle while in motion.Issue 3: Loose bolts. Maybe this shop doesn't own a torque wrench.Issue 4: Diagnosis. Issues are dealt with by throwing the customer's money at the issue, not by using the expertise that is expected by an automotive shop.Issue 4a: Had issues with the four wheel drive system. After I spent a little less than a grand on new front gears, the issue was still there after I was able to get home and test it out. This means that not only the diagnosis was wrong, but the issue was never tested at the shop. It was only after I purchased a new transfer case, that the issue was resolved. That cost roughly $1500 just for the part itself.Issue 4b: Incorrect fuel to air ratio. My truck blew excessive black smoke so we started with 3.5k injector job, but that black smoke was still there. Next was a $500 tune that also did not fix the issue.Issue 5: Wait times. The owner obviously felt fatigue from this project and neglected my truck for weeks at a time. The truck would remain in the same spot out front until I called enough times to get the ball rolling. See: communicationIssue 6: This one is probably the biggest. A competing shop fixed my issue with excessive black smoke by correctly installing one single bolt related to the boost tube. This simple issue was fixed within a day of being at the new shop. It cost next to nothing. I wasted over 5k on the black smoke issue itself and roughly 6 months of having a vehicle that I could use when it was just a single bolt.Issue 7: When I initially brought the truck in for injector work, I was told I had gasoline in my diesel truck fuel tank which cost me another 1.5k to fix. I presently don't believe gasoline was ever in my diesel tank, but at the time I reluctantly agreed that it was possible out of good faith. I have no way of verifying what was in my fuel tank, However, I can only assume that this was another way of getting a few thousand dollars out of me after all the other disingenuous events that have taken place between this shop and myself.Stay away from Groeb Motorsports.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Highly recommend for any repairs needed for your vehicle, they took care of my 2014 GMC 2500 head gasket issue in a very timely manner! Cameron answered any questions I had about the complete process. I will definitely be going back for any future work I may need. I can t thank them enough for taking care of my truck, much appreciated Groeb Motorsports!!!

Highly recommend. I took a jeep in for a lift kit install and there ended up being some other issues with the jeep that they discovered once it was installed (no fault of theirs). They did the additional work at an unbeatable price and did it right. The owner could have easily charged me more- I think most places would have. Judging by my experience and the other reviews that I've read; I can tell that he operates his business providing high quality work and excellent customer service.

Absolute animals of the Diesel Game. I am currently in a different state and my truck had a turbo failure amongst a few other service needs that needed to be handled. Worked with Cameron and his team from afar, the truck got dropped off and they had everything put together and wrapped up within a few days notice, and we're not talking just a simple oil change.Cameron was able to shoot me pictures of the work that was done too which is a plus being far away.Highly recommend Groeb Motorsports.Services: Transmission, Brakes, Oil change

Quoted me the best tire prices. Install went without without any issues. I went over my wheels and not a scratch or mark!! I was very pleased. When I noticed an AMP running board display in the lobby, I ordered a bed step and it came in the next day... what a shock! Great team here. 10 of 10 I look forward to doing more business with them.

Rip-off artist/owner, Cameron, said our F-250 needed 8 injectors at a cost of $3,000 when it actually only needed 2. Good thing we left there and went to a reputable mechanic. Also, they replaced our relatively new fuel pump with a Fass lift pump, but when asked for the old pump they said they didn't take it off. Ok, so how did they put on the Fass if they didn't remove the previous pump. Liars and thieves.

This was my first and last experience with groeb first off I asked them to put a power steering box in cheap price $175 to put it in and fluid. So I let him do the job they call me the next day and say your truck is done but they forgot to tell me that my power steering pump was also out and needed replaced. so I just tell him to go and put that in. I tell him to call me if it gets over $200 no call they call me the next day and tell me i can come pick it up it was $258 now after all that work they do not align my steering wheel up with my tires to go straight down the road I am at a 60 degree angle to the left and that is my horrible experience with them

First off let s start by saying I own a ford 6.0, I ve spent thousands on with other shops and have always been oblivious to what is being performed. This place explains every detail and let s you know what should be fixed and what could go a few thousand more miles. I am completely satisfied with the customer service and work performed with these guys! I recommend them highly!

They took really good care of me and fixed an issue that was caused by work done at another garage.They made themselves available by phone afterwards to help diagnose other issues and provide constant technical support I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

I did not use their services for what most people probably use them for. I am from North Carolina and was doing business in Florida when I developed a big leak in my radiator and in my lower transmission cooling line. I limped in there driving a 2006 Silverado, with a Duramax diesel. I explained to the owner my situation and asked if he could help me, and he said that he would. He pretty much stopped what one of his guys was doing, and put him on my vehicle right away. They ran into a couple of unexpected hurdles, but overcame them like champs! Very professional, good attitude, and certainly know what they re doing when it comes to my Duramax. Thanks very much for bailing me out in a tough situation Groeb motorsports! I ve been using the shop for a few years now best diesel shop in town every time I ve had an issue they ve gotten to it right away and once or twice of stayed late to get me back on the road and able to go to work the next day only shop I will take my truck to the owner is very professional and is always willing to help out
