Brought my vehicle here a number of times. All was good all those times but the most recent repair they performed did absolutely nothing to fix my vehicle. Given they charged me less than what they told me they were going to initially charge but they still charged me something when the vehicle is the EXACT same. I brought the vehicle back to them 5 minutes after I picked it up because I noticed the issue was still there when I was driving it. Then they said there's nothing else that they can do. And no refund was given whatsoever.they seem to b good at little repairs like a window or a seat issue tire rotation ect not major repairs they clearly cant even do an allignment. I'll probably try them again depending on the issue because of the convenience, but if this happens again even remotely, I'm I'm going to take my bussiness elsewhere.

DON'T GO TO THIS SHOP!!! HORRIBLE PRICES FOR REPAIRS. GUESS THATS HOW YOU GET TO LIVE ON THE WATER, HAVE BOATS, RVS, NEW CARS...PREY ON UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE AND THEN GO HOME AND SLEEP. I WAS RAISED DON'T DO ANYTHING UNETHICAL, IMMORAL OR ILLEGAL AND YOU SHOULD BE FINE. THIS OWNER IS CERTAINLY VERY CLOSE TO PUSHING THE LIMIT ON ALL THREE.

Called as we needed a tire plugged and were looking for a local shop to replace the one we had been using for years. Very friendly on the phone and said to bring the vehicle right down. They got it fixed for a very reasonable plug fee, staff was very friendly and even joked around. Virtually no wait as the work was done as soon as I pulled in. Clean location that's easy to access. Will be using for oil change and some basic scheduled maintenance soon and will updated review at that time.Service: Tires

I was on vacation in NSB and took my Tacoma to Stuart's when they opened at 8:00. I shared my concerns with them about my brakes. I received a call by 11:30 that my truck was repaired! Staff was friendly and efficient. Repair was thorough and reasonably priced. Wow, so impressed! I've always noticed how clean and organized their shop was as I drove past. So I called today and spoke to a very friendly and helpful lady, I dropped off my Toyota Tundra truck because the protection pan under the engine was hanging down. A couple hours later they called and said it was done and the price was only $35. Honest, service oriented, organized, friendly and competent - I have found my go to place for our car care needs and highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

What a great auto shop! The front office folks are fantastic, and the mechanics really know their stuff. They don't do extra work to run up the costs, and if they can't do the work or they don't think it'll be worth it, they let you know. Seriously good folks who know what they are doing.

Stuart's Car Care Center took great care of us while in New Smyrna Beach hosting a retreat for breast cancer families with Little Pink Houses of Hope. One family had a flat tire and the fine people at Stuart's gave the best recommendation to take care of the family, ordered the tire, and fixed it that day. Later in the week our staff car had a tire issue that was quickly resolved. We appreciate your commitment to excellent work with a staff that communicates well. Thanks Stuart's staff!Service: Tires

Stuart's team was very friendly and helpful when we were in a tough situation. Needing major repairs and being out of town, they helped with recommendations, and even gave us a ride to and from our hotel. Repairs done quickly and at a fair price. My first experience with Stuart s Car Care and it will not be my last. When no one would work on my 2004 Golf with 211k miles on it, Stuart did. I needed front struts and it was no problem for him and his team. I am so grateful. I love my car and am very attached to it. I was not ready to say good bye to it. They were easy to talk to, to deal with, fast to schedule the work, and reasonably priced. I have an older Jeep that I also plan to have serviced there when needed. I am so grateful.

They always do a great job and are kind. I'm especially grateful they were able to get my car in and out quickly today after one of the plastic shields underneath the car came loose (super frustrating issue with my car). Highly recommend!

I take both of my vehicles there exclusively. They are always honest and tell me what the cars need and if there is ever anything that Stuart thinks somebody else would be more specialized in he will send you there instead. Very fair on their pricing. It is also the cleanest car care center that I have ever seen in my life.

i wish i could give less than one star. if you're looking for a mechanic that you can trust, keep looking. I went in on 8-1-16 for an oil change and asked them to check my a/c. they were quick. i liked that. less than a half hour after i got there, i was called into the garage. Stuart showed me my door handle. he claimed that all the tech did was open the door and it broke off in his hand. I'm OK with that except that it was broken in two places. the door handle was broken off, not just broken. he wanted to charge me for replacing the handle. that's not even the bad part. he would take absolutely NO responsibility and tried to blame it on my "old, beat up car" (that's a quote). my car is a little older (2004). it is NOT beat up. i take very good care of my car. if he had taken responsibility for what had happened and fixed it, i would have been a loyal customer. there's nothing worse in the world of business than not taking responsibility for your actions, good or bad. there were also jobs performed that i did not ask for. again, not good business. i will never take my car there again. this place is not trustworthy and i suggest you find someone else to work on your car too. there's a place right across the street, Bob's on Canal St, Gary's a block or two north...anyone but stuart!

This is the best place to get your car fixed. They are thorough. Don't take advantage of women. Sometimes you have to have 2 things fixed to make it work again. Stuart is a great guy and he is involved with your work on your vehicle. They have the best mechanics that take the best care of your vehicle.

I was turned away because they didn t want to get into working on my truck. If I would ve known they were like that I wouldn t have had my truck towed there to start with.Come to find out, it just needed a new fuel pump. I had to have it towed to another mechanic to figure that out.

Sold me on a part I didn t need,(AC compressor). Then when I return the car after the fix did nothing to improve my air conditioning. They refer me to someone else to replace the evaporator.. Nice staff and crew, it just seems like they take advantage of customers lack of knowledge. Be prepared to pay more than what you expect.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

They do things without telling you, like put Freon in your AC, or change your oil, or screw up your alignment without driving the car to make sure it s smooth before they call you, and they try to replace all parts that aren t new to scam you. They ll even tell you your car is junk so you ll pay more to have things replaced that don t need to be. Dishonest overall. You can t do things customers don t want and then charge them for it. That s lying and stealing. Bad business Stuart!

Sad Went to school with Stuart! Thought I could trust him to do a good job for me! Sad to say!! Double priced me for an alternator!! 400.00!! Awful!! Then the mechanic apparently unplugged wiring harness that goes to my fan to cool my radiator! My car ran HOT!!! AMONG OTHER THINGS!!! RIP OFF!!!

The check engine light came on my old Kia Sportage. I was on vacation from Michigan. The engine had some intermittent issues with surging before the light came on so I needed to find out what might be the cause. Also, I didn't want to put a lot of money into the vehicle as I was going to trade it in when I got back home. It had 208,000 miles and it's time was up!I explained the situation to Stuart. He checked the car out; gave me the findings; and discussed options, including just waiting it out to see if it continued or got worse. I ended up choosing to have the MAF sensor replaced. The price was reasonable and the service prompt. I appreciated that Stuart clearly explained things and answered all my questions.In fact, a few days later I came back to have them look at a squeaking noise I was having. He showed me the cause (a slight rubbing of the rear rotor), said it wasn't anything to be concerned about, and for a small service fee I went on my way knowing I could make it back to Michigan safely.In both cases they professional, courteous, and prompt. The office staff are friendly and helpful. I'd certainly go back.

I m a VERY satisfied customer of Stuart's Car Care Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I was leaving NSB on a holiday weekend when my F150 began misfiring. Dropped it at Stuart s and they checked and fixed the problem (ignition coil). Later had another Service Engine Soon error on the same vehicle and they checked and fixed the issue right away. Great service, excellent professional staff, highly recommended.

This is a great care care center that has been around decades. Honest owner and good work. The ladies that work in the office are very nice as well. Highly recommend.

Local car care center in New Smyrna Beach does very good work at fair prices however, it seems they have been around long enough so that they can pick and choose what vehicles to work on, if you are one of those they don't want to work on, simply thank them for their time. there are plenty of other good shops around

If you need it fixed right, the first time, then this is the place to take your car. I've used them for many years on both a big ol' Dodge and a little import. No problem. Their prices aren't cheap but I don't think there is a mechanic in town that is. Here, I know you will get your money's worth.

Stuart s took the car for a test drive then told me I needed to take it to the dealer. Charged me for more than an hour s labor. Stuart s definitely don t want my future business.

Brought in my 2003 Mustang because it was overheating, dropped it off Tuesday evening. Got a call Wednesday morning from Stewart himself telling me that his shop would not touch my car because it was "too old to work on" and "there is too much rust".I've been under and worked on my car before, the amount of rust is minimal, if not marginal. Also, aren't you a MECHANIC? Aren't mechanics trained to deal with situations like this? What about mechanics up north, where the roads are salted and rust is inevitable? Do cars just never get repaired there?Don't go here. I got a laughable response on a repair that would have only been moderately difficult for a trained technician.Take your business to someone who doesn't expect your car to be in pristine condition.

We asked to get our a.c. checked, they came in asked if he wanted it charged. We said yes assuming that was the problem because the ac was checked. They just threw in freon then said they couldn't guarantee it because it could have leaks but, never checked it and never told us it wasn't checked until after they put freon in. When we questioned what was going on, Pam responded threatingly several times with "do you want cold air this weekend or not?" We were never given options or pricing. Very unprofessional, when I tried to question Pam on the process she continually interupped and would not let me speak.

Stuart's is a very honest and reasonably priced garage. They have taken care of our every need for many years. I highly recommend them!
