All in all it was an interesting experience.The service department was open but had no working computers to take appointments, make updates, print orders, print recipients nor even take payments via credit card!It should have been FUBAR ... Even so I was able to get in and out for a 30,000 mile service rather quickly, compared to my previous experiences.The service advisor I dealt with is named Timothy Wright. He took my order by hand, updated me regularly as to the status of the repairs and gave me a final bill (via email) & all without a properly working computer system/network/printer. There was a minor issue of an unidentified squeeky problem that needed a second review. Tim went got a mechanic quickly and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes. All in all it was the best service experience I've had with South Motors ever ... or "Honda of South Miami" as I was informed it is now called.I definitely recommend this dealership over the one on Coral Way.

I went for a nail in the driver's tire, a simple work to pull the nail from the tire and fixed. My appointment was at 11 am, I left the car and I went to work. At 2:24 the tire was fixed, but I went to pick the car at 5pm. I received the car with almost the flat tire, seems like they never did anything. I complained to the services guy that he apparently doesn't how to handle situations about customer services. I also told him that I need to talk to the manager, the manager came and after total 55 minutes, supposedly I will received a new tire for replacement, and it came with a dirty old tire.

Made an appointment at 4:00pm got there 30 minutes earlier, advisors walk right pass and don t say anything. Got out to speak to someone and first thing they say is appointments get priority once the car is taken to the back . This spot needs to not even waste people time making appointments and do walk ins if that s the case. Never coming back here. The same advisors that beg you to give them a good rating on their survey.

Excellent customer service.Huge shout out to Phillip Allen, Service Director who went above and beyond in helping me with issues that my Honda warranty did not cover. He was professional, respectful and courteous. Sergio, Service advisor was timely in his responses and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I enjoy coming to South Motor Honda. They have sitting areas while uou wait and offer free coffee. There is also a Pinecrest Bakery , have breakfast or lunch while waiting for service.Rolando is the best. He always makes me feel at home.

I have to change this review! I have almost a year with a car that continues to be put on the side. A CRV 2021 that has had issues with the radio since week 1! Took it to weeks ago for oil change and radio issue (6th time) and overheard person that helped tell another one of the workers: we are only doing oil change because the radio issue would not be look at Really!? I did not buy a brand new car to be begging for it to work properly and each time get the excuse, is an Apple software issue! To top it off, I have also gotten calls from the dealer department asking how the car is going, I tell them the issue and then I get: the manager will contact you . Still waiting for those calls!!! I was also offered $2000 to get the car back and buy the same one for $8000 more! This is supposely one of 18 cars with same issue! Very frustrated!

Do not buy a car in. This Honda dealer !!!! Go to another one . They lie to you and want to sell you a car and expect you to do the inspection for them . Then when you buy the car they and you see the problem within one week they expect you to take care of it yourself without responsibility at all . As a consumer you expect the dealer with such integrity to do their job and to make sure they do inspections and everything else correctly. This manager is the worst manager ever and I plan to contact consumers choice , help me Howard and alert evertone so no one goes through this problem ever again . Please do not buy a car in this Honda dealer .

Horrible wait. I was there waiting outside for almost 45 min without no one attending me. There was over 8 lazy employees sitting down on there phone. Then they expect us to wait two hours for oil change. They lost a sale for next year. Will not buy from this Honda again.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Question everything or else they will charge you the most possible.I went for and AC diagnostic. The diagnostic was $195 and if they found an issue, they would apply that amount towards the service. At the end it was a broken relay (a part which I know takes 5 minutes to replace) and the bill they shared was $550. I asked why and they immediately lowered the price to $440. And then I asked for a detailed quote with the work done and line by line cost and somehow, the price reduced to $272. They did not removed the cost of the diagnostic for the first two times they quoted me for the service and had 3 different numbers shared throughout. Be sure to validate that you aren t getting ripped off and question everything.

I've been a South Motors Honda Service Center customer for a few years and would always recommend it to my friends for its excellent service. I have recently tried to schedule service pickup twice, and they have canceled without notice. I did not even receive a courtesy call to inform me of this, and I had to call to find out. Will be using another servicing center going forward.Services: Vehicle Inspection, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I went for a service appointment and.also, to talk to Johan about purchasing or leasing a new vehicle. He was informative.From our phone conversation, it seemed that he had made an appointment for service for a problem with my car. He took me to someone in service who went to my car with me. He argued that there was nothing wrong with my car. I explained to him that the light that was on on the dashboard indicated various safety problems that I was experiencing with my car. Finally, he told me that I needed to make an appointment for service and to come back. I had wasted all my time thinking that Yohan had made an appointment for me. This representative said "I don't know why he told you that" (meaning Yohan didn't do anything about setting up an appointment for me that day)! Finally, he told me to leave, gave me a phone number instructed me to and call for an appointment. I was shocked that Yohan had not made an appointment for me, as he had promised! I left, saying, "thank you for nothing" and was extremely disappointed in South Motors Honda. Yes, they have a very attractive showroom and give free coffee -- as many people on line have pointed out-- but service and courteosy are much more important than these features! Needless to say, I was very upset and disappointed when I left. I decided that I would NEVER purchase or lease a car nor go for service at S M Honda. On my way home, I received a call from my husband, saying that someone from SM Honda called to say that I had missed my scheduled service appointment!!!!! It was too late to turn back and I was very, very angry.It turns out that Johan had, indeed, made an appointment for me and Claudio (or whatever the other rep's name was) who sent me home. NEVER checked the computer properly to see if I had an appointment. When I got home, I called Yojan to tell him what happened. I also tried to contact the service manager (Philip?).I thought that he might want to know how customers are being treated. The receptionist who answered the phone knew what had happened and asked me repetitive questions. She asked me if I was coming for my appointment and, obviously, was missing the point (conveniently). She said that she would have the service manager call me. THIS NEVER HAPPENED nor did anybody ever apologize for wasting my time!!! I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH SM HONDA and, frankly, I don't think that anyone there really cares!! I guess that they do so much business that they don't have to be courteous to customers. They certainly don't care about apologizing about "screw ups"!! I will be going back to Largo even though it is farther away.

My first time doing an oil change at a dealership. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait 30mins before anybody saw me. I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours, but it took 2 hours.I was told I would receive text messages with updates on my vehicle and even a video with the inspection, but I received nothing. When I asked about it, they said that the texts were probably being sent to the other person in my family who had been here before.The only update I got was a text message from the person who helped me saying that my vehicle was ready, but no instructions on what to do or where to go next. I waited outside for 15 minutes and they were nowhere to be found. Neither was my vehicle. So I decided to text back asking what I do now. The response was "cashier". When I followed the sign to the cashier, they asked if I wanted a car wash. I foolishly said yes. I'm still sitting here waiting for my car after the car wash. It's been 35minutes so far. No idea how long it's going to take.I've been here since my appointment at 10am. It's 1:13pm now. I had no idea that a car wash and an oil change would take this long. Who knows when I'll get to go home.Update: after writing the above review, I decided to go back inside and ask for help finding my car. Lots of workers around, but nobody was attentive to a customer like me who was clearly looking to talk to someone. Workers sitting around on their phones and the like. Finally, I just walked up to someone and asked him where was my car. He pointed me to someone else. Eventually, one guy came to me to ask if I needed help. I explained my experience to him and he helped me find my car. Even walked me over to it. Turns out it was sitting in a parking spot around the side of the building. I would have been here all day if I hadn't spoken up.

I have been to this location twice. There are always employees hanging around, yet service takes forever. The first time I booked an appointment to have my oil changed. We re running a little behind is what I was told. A little behind was two hours. I left and went to get an oil change across the street at a generic mechanic.My car is still under warranty, so I booked to have it serviced for another issue. I wasn t seen until 15 minutes after my appointment time. And then I was told the same thing we re running about and hour and a half to two hours behind . The representative Tim helping me was very pompous and had no sense of urgency. I expressed my complaints about booking an appointment and still having to wait for hours. He shrugged and said that s how it is. Anything else .This is exactly why people do their oil changes at home and hate coming to the dealership for service. Terrible service every time I have been here and I would not recommend this place to others. You re better off driving to Largo Honda down by the Keys because they re so much friendlier and don t take 2 hours to even check your car.

Great! My car has a recall for the airbags. I scheduled my appointment. I got there. I left my car. Took the complimentary shuttle. After 2 hours, it was ready. They also check my car, providing me a report of the findings. Excellent service!

A little pricey but great customer service and very comfortable waiting area.I never felt pressured to buy anything that I didn't want.I got an oil change for my Civic, and I spent about ten dollars more than I thought I would, but the comfort and amenities were worth it.

I am beyond frostrated I am here at south motors Honda to have my car serviced and the rep Willie approached my car like they always do and advised that he will meet me inside. Can I tell you I walked inside and I did not see the guy I waited 10 min a I walked away. Then he tries to charge me $80 for a oilchange i have never paid $80. I walked away. Nasty racist profiled, stared he could not find my car in the database..which i have been coming aince i bougt the care fr. The in 2018.He judged me as soon as I walked in. I will NEVER ise this service again. I have never so upset. This is how Honda S. Motors treat customes reps now? He never wanted to assist in service. Wow

This is my favorite Honda dealership for service. I've never had an issue that could not be resolved. My go to person is Luca. He's definitely quite helpful every time I go.

Don't waste your time and go to another dealership. For the past 4 times, I schedule an appointment for an oil change and tire check the very first time slot in the morning. Pretty much my car is the first in line for service. On average, it takes them 4+ hours to change the oil, and then they tell me that they can't do anything about air leak in the tire anymore even tho I took the car 4 times for the same issue. They never fixed the initial issue and just dragged down the time until the tire is unfixable. Now they decided to tell me that they run a promotion buy 3 get 1 free tire with balancing being free of charge. I looked at their estimate and compared it with pricing online, and it came out that, they overcharging by $200. What kind of promotion is that? I paid 4 times to patch/fix my tires, and they never did...Services: Tire rotations, Engine repair, Oil change

Great new service center at Honda South. Turn in where it says Valet. The valet will direct you where to go. Service is in the back. My service rep was great - resolved the issue I had with the TPMS sensor light immediately. Saved me the time and hassle of having to leave my car. Great service

They charged me 3 labor hours to replace sparking plugs, timing belt and bearings replacement. Three jobs that all together should not take over 30 minutes of work! Huge scam! Moreover, it took them over a month to receive parts I paid in advance and I had to constantly check with them if the parts arrived. Once they arrived they never called me or notified me. I had to be the one checking all the time.

I live on the west coast of Florida even so, south motors was able to help me make an appointment for my mother's vehicle over the phone. The vehicle was fixed and I'm grateful I know where I can send my family to.

It was pretty good but most of the staff were not wearing masks. It didn't feel safe for those of us who are immune compromised.
