Rob was fantastic to do business with. He clearly knows these products like the back of his hand and was able to walk me through everything when I purchased my truck topper.As for the truck topper itself (ARE CX Revo)....it's flawless. Perfect fit and paint match. I couldn't be happier with the product and the service.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgable with all my questions They actually told me my bed cover installment would take 2 hrs it was done in 1.15 minutes .plus they went over everything as far a routine maintenance etc .I am very pleased.

I dealt with both salesman at the Counter, anything but good things to say about these two guys. If you need, tires accessories and anything to make your pickup truck look nice give them a visit, they have lots of accessories in Stock. Prices are very competitive and unlike online dealers they install and offer warranty on any install they make, something you don't get online.

Great staff and great work. Browsed the towable RV's while waiting for them to install a bumper hitch. They have quite a few accessories like rims, lights bars, RV parts, and truck parts. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to have work done.

Review update: Had Alec's install a Retrax bed cover, when asked to walk truck after install noticed it was scratched.. Robert excused it as "they can get scratched during install"... would not suggest Alec for anything in the future because of this, find someone whose installers show more care.. was checking out some of the "New" RV's on the lot while waiting for install, noticed alot of small interior damage, no attention to detail, BEWARE.Will be contacting RetraxAlso they're doing a bed cover install but I got into my truck and the glove box was left open, were they looking to steal something? Be careful

Chandi and Betty are amazing!!! We had an emergency while leaving to NC, they were able to fix our RV super fast and prices are best in the business. We had to wait inside and they allowed us to bring in our dog, and were so polite and entertaining while we sat there. I loved talking to Betty. She has so much much knowledge, is super friendly, and was super sweet to our elderly dog. Only place we will go to fix our RV. They did a great job and we were able to get to our destination on time and safe.

Just added the Roll-n-Lock cover, as well as some N-Fab side steps to my new Rebel. Pricing and installation were very reasonable and the knowledge of all the guys in trying to come up with the right parts for me was awesome. Thanks for all the help!

Experience with the RV team was poor. NO communication. Had my RV for more than 3 weeks for a simple $200 repair. Once it was fixed, the door handle was broken on drivers side. Won t repeat here.

I waited almost a week to write this review cause I wanted to express my thoughts objectively. It was not easy to speak with someone on phone about some questions regarding the estimate. They said someone was going to call me back and never did. I had agreed to do most of the work. When we went to pick up the RV, during the walk through several things had not been done and they were passing the buck around regarding who should have done this or that. I was charged an inspection fee to go over the whole RV and there was about 4 or 5 things which supposedly was done last minute after it was found not done. In fact, I was charged for a gas leak inspection which they never told me what was found. That was looked into when I stated not having info on how it was resolved. Also a last minute thing as I waited to take it home. I left feeling uncertain about the reality of that inspection. Sad! I have a mechanic shop and I don't take for granted when people spend their money at my facility.

Roger was professional and efficient. I was in and out with my Retrax bed cover in half the time that they originally told me it would take. All of the staff were courteous and helpfull.

They repaired our Dometic 4101 refrigerator/ freezer. Just wish they were a bit better about updating someone on the status of things. Other than that we are very satisfied.

Alec s Truck Trailer & RV is still my favorite place for everything trucks. They are prompt, courteous, pay attention to details and reliable. Came into town after making an appointment and they knocked me out fairly quickly as always with nothing short but amazing work.

This RV center has been the best one I have found down here in Miami my last Rv place was in palm Beach IT left me with a bad taste. This people are qualified and experienced . They found my problem and help me with the problem . Thank you to Betty , Shandy , and Jim . And all the staff .

If I could give this negative stars I would. Buyer beware. I am not sure how they are still in business. The quality of work is disgraceful. The rv you take in, will not be that of the same quality when it comes out. Forget about asking to speak to a higher level supervisor, cfo, or shop owner because according to them, he is a silent owner and doesn t exist. The shop Forman is incredibly rude, coarse and has no idea what customer service entails. Dealt with them from July-January trying to resolve our issues. Short cuts taken, poor workmanship, numerous mistakes and thousands of dollars spent. Save yourself the headache. Will never be back here.

Alec s trailer is awesome. I got a trailer (caravan) from them as well as some other accessories for my truck. They are super professional, organized and communicative. I highly recommend them.

Just bought my 6x10 enclosed trailer here and I couldn t be happier. Everyone in Alec s truck trailer in very kind and very well knowledgeable. Irving and Roberto help me and I have to say that this place is one of the best places to buy anything related to trucks and RVs. Also they are kids friendly. They have a box full of toys to make your child at home.

I was charged $700 for a diagnostic that was wrong. The problem was solved by myself by contacting Firefly.Alec blamed Firefly for given them the wrong information, I called and got it right and fixed myself with Firefly assistance.Alec refused to refund me the $700.Not happy.

First, let me say that if I had taken time to read the reviews online I would have gone somewhere else.Now, let me warn you...STAY AWAY! The culture of the staff here is toxic and they treat customers like idiots. Condescending is the main character quality the staff shares and exudes to their customers and to each other. Miami already has a "bad customer service" culture and Alecs Truck Trailer and RV would be it's headquarters.Let me give you a few examples. First, I asked them to diagnose what was wrong with the AC. I agreed to pay for the diagnoses, which by the way will be at least $90 (1/2 hour). When I got the estimate it said "not working" and then proceeded to include the estimate for Removing and Replacing a new unit at the cost of 3 hours labor at $180 per hour + the cost of the new unit at $1800. When I asked for specifics on why the AC isn't working they replied in a condescending way, "it's not cooling". Duh! That's why I brought it in! They couldn't give me an answer specifically to what was wrong with the AC and simply said, "It's cheaper to replace than fix"...what do I look like to you, an idiot? Apparently that's their posture with all customers.Second, I asked for a "walk through" of my RV (I'm new to RV-ing) and wanted some time to make sure I knew what I was doing. I agreed to pay the $180 for the "hour" (only took 28 min). At the beginning of the walk through the service manager said that Dave was going to do it for me but then she proceeded to give the walk through. As Dave was standing there she looked at him and as if he was a child told him "go inside"...I was mortified for Dave, although he seemed used this type of treatment from a manger. Only moments later the service manager heard some other employees cursing and laughing and she screamed at the top of her lungs, "we have customers"...yea! real pro-fessh there lady!There's so much more I could share but I stop here and encourage you to read the other reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook. Pay Attention to the owners replies. Austin's handling of customer feedback is a glaring example of the toxic culture here at this place.On a final note. It's unfortunate that Alec's Truck, Trailer and RV seems to be the only place like it south of Downtown Miami. Please for the love of God and all that is Holy...someone open an RV repair shop and put these losers out of business!

My cover came in and I made an appointment for 10:30. Showed up before then, they took my truck in and at 12, I checked on progress, truck backed in and NOTHING had been done. They then told me it was the wrong cover. They reordered it and the following week I drove back up there to have it installed. Upon paying They THEN told me there would be a service charge for using a CC. I was not informed of this before. It seems that when Robert was not there nobody could make any kind of decision.Upset with their service.

Installed retrax bed cover on 2024 Silverado. Perfect install like factory direct. Sammy was great, friendly knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless.
