I'm taking the time to leave a review on Active Autowerke, I bought a catted Downpipe made and installed by them, they advertise this Downpipe with a no cell ( engine light) warranty, which I did got it the cell with it, I called them about it and with no hesitation, they schedule an appointment for a replacement with no charge that was done today, Allan from AA was pleasant and very helpful the whole time, I picked up the car after he called me and everything is fine now with no further issue, I just love a company that stay behind their warranty and have great customer service. Would love to buy my next performance part from them again.

Without a doubt the best exhaust you can get for the BMW F8X platform. High quality, excellent value, best sound. There customer service and mechanics team are all respectful and very helpful. 10/10 recommend this shop to any and all BMW owners.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I purchased a 2010 M3 with the intent to build it into a performance car. The guys at Active were the only shop that took the time to work through a plan and provided me with pricing up front with no surprises. I had the rod bearings replaced and installed a supercharger. The kit provided plenty of power and exceeded my expectations. The tuning also enhanced the shifting and overall performance of the car. I also had them instal their customized exhaust system, the car sounds great and the added performance was noticeable. They installed new coils and other minor items all at a very competitive price. Any issue that I had post installation was met with perseverance, they didn t stop until it was perfect! I highly recommend this shop if you own a BMW and are looking for added performance. They live a breath their products and know BMW s inside and out.

I am a returning customer of Active Autowerke but this time I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge their outstanding service and attention to detail. We recently purchased a supercharged S54 M Roadster that was built entirely by Active. Due to a minor rapture on the methanol plumbing I did contact Mike which he immediately made an attempt to troubleshoot the issue via phone. Although he was booked for several weeks ahead, he extended the courtesy of an appointment within days and not only he addressed the issue upon arrival but he went above and beyond to do a further quality control of the entire system. Mr. Hugh and his team are expert engineers as well as true gentlemen. Thank you!!!Service: Auto engine tuning

Only reason it s not 1 star is cause the tune is a good tune. It s now been 2 weeks and I can t get a reply from email and I can t get a return call despite getting a live person twice and being told I would get a call back two times. And I gave them a whole week the first time. The customer service is horrible it seems once they get the money. Stay away if it s not gonna be a one time out with no expectation of support past the purchase. Very disappointed since my local shop told me to get rid of my Dinan tune for these guys, big mistake on my part.Service: Auto engine tuning

I am a Miami resident and have been going to Active for about a year for both my 2018 F82 M4 and 2008 e93 M3.My M3 has spent a lot of time with the team at Active undergoing upgrades and repairs including, intake and engine repairs, custom tuning, full big brake kit installation, full coilover installation, aero installation, and a broad range of other maintenance/repair/diagnostic work.My praise for their team is extensive for not just the quality of work but also for the friendliness of their staff and the effectiveness of their communication. Their techs are professional and their knowledge around the platforms they work on is evident. On the e9X chassis, specifically, Scrappy has been excellent and has earned my trust to always get the work done the right way.I take my cars to Active because I want to best work possible done on my cars with a team I can trust. Whenever there is an unexpected issue, Mike from the AA team lays out the problem, the solutions, and their recommended course of action with clarity and courtesy. I also appreciate the peace of mind that comes with their timely updates through text, call, and photos so I never feel out of the loop when my cars are at the shop (you certainly won t get that at any Miami dealership ).Bottom line - If your top priority is quality of work and an overall high degree of care for your car, this is the only place to take your BMW.Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Auto body & trim replacement, Auto maintenance

I drove 6 hours to Miami to bring my 2018 BMW M3 to Active Autowerke to install a BMW M Performance Sport Height Adjustable Springs that I bought from BMW dealership. I opted for AA to install the springs since their pricing is 60% less than the dealership. I also like to see their facility that made the mid-pipe exhaust I have on my car. The install was assigned to the owner. After waiting for the entire day for the install to complete I noticed that they did not re-install the dust boot. The owner was hesitant to install it and will charge extra for a re-install. I convinced him that it is the suggested installation from BMW. They agree to re-install and fit the dust boot. Fast forward after a year when I was driving my car with passengers I noticed that there is a clunking sound on the front suspension on dips and bumps. I checked the suspension and noticed that the there are rubbing marks between the sway bar and link arm on the left and right suspensions. I brought my car to the dealership and found out the struts were incorrectly installed. They were sitting too low. I end up paying the dealership $1,500 to re-install the struts and springs plus alignment. I guess suspension is not an expertise of AA. I m rating them 2 stars since the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating.Service: Auto engine tuning

Absolutely love this place ! Definitely recommend and will be returning!! Andrew was awesome, he was so helpful and very knowledgeable. Made my husband and I feel very welcomed and confident in the services we were receiving. They really did exceed my expectations. We had taken our Beamer to Euromotive Performance to have some work done but were treated horribly. Not to mention the parts they replaced they put backwards and left many things under the hood loose which were found here at AA. Scrappy took great care of our car! Shout out to Andrew and the worker who went out of their way to hook it up with and AA license plate ! Got an AA gen 2 muffler with the software tune, beautiful piece and the car sounds and runs amazing now !

So the reason I gave a 4 as opposed to a 5 is because I didn t actually get any work done from here but .... I called and spoke to Nick regarding possibly tuning my Bimmer and some issues that I was having and he took his time explaining to me how everything works and even suggested me looking into mechanic issues I may be having as opposed to trying to sell me into having this shop diagnose and tune. Very very knowledgeable, respectful and courteous.First mechanic I ve spoken to who took the time to help me out over the phone without trying to sell me something. Service is a huge thing for me (obviously). Keep it up guys, I will definitely recommend to others and someday when I m ready I will get a tune and some work from here.

Active Autowerke is the my go to place when I need something aftermarket for my E46 M3. They just did my subframe reinforcement and it is remarkable, my car feels more responsive and better than every before. Not only is their work and parts amazing but their customer service is like no other, everyone their is super friendly and they are always trying to help you out to get the best price. By far the best BMW shop i have ever been to.highly recommend it to anyone.

Did a lot of research to improve the exhaust note of my 2015 M4 and decided that i didn't want to go too crazy (catless downpipes, remap etc) and ultimately decided on getting the AA midpipe. Since I live in Miami, i was pleasantly surprised to find out that their RD. manufacturing and service center is very close. I drove there on a friday to meet the folks and was shown the product as well as given a better understanding what the midpipe does and how it would sound. I was also quoted a great price on the midpipe and labor to install. I set up an appointment for the following monday and i just can't say enough of how great the car sounds without being overly obnoxious - being able to control the volume of the exhaust with the M4 config of throttle response either efficient for low volume or sport/sport+ for pronounced exhaust note is sublime. Nor can i say enough about the AA service center and their employees - they are true professionals and know their stuff. Fair transparent pricing and top notch products. They've been there for over 31 years so that should speak to their commitment and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Best service hands down. Came in for a tune, ended up getting an exhaust as well. Andrew was the best writer; he even made sure everything was straight and ready to go before I left. Everything was quick, easy, and reasonably priced. 5/5 stars. Recommended for any work whatsoever

Best experience ever! I had been procrastinating on tunning my car because I was scared to damage it but the work this guys did when I finally decided to pull the trigger was impecable.My car handles like an absolute beast, the increase in torque and hp is off the chart and best of all I haven't had a single issue with it. They tunned and installed a few aftermarket parts and did and absolute great job at making sure everything was up to BMW standards."Come play with power"

Active Autowerke handled the situation perfectly by sending me a replacement and prepaid return label immediately.

I took my car to Active Autowerke to diagnose a weird noise/shudder it was experiencing going over speed-bumps. The problem was intermittent which made it that much more difficult and irritating to find, but they were very professional, patient, and accommodating. I took the day off to be there to answer questions and watch the techs at work, and they even offered me a ride for lunch. In the end, they were able to resolve the problem that no other mechanic had been able to find. I strongly recommend Active Autowerke to any BMW owner.

Purchased their Mid Pipe for my 2018 BMW M4 (ZCP)...all I can say is wow. From the customer service to the actual product, completely sold and will buy again again whatever they produce. It's really a shame that a piece this gorgeous sits beneath the car.I've attached a clip of what it sounds like with the valves open in Sport mode in my garage. It's glorious.

I just called them up for my first visit (I was told they were the best in BMW diagnostics) the person that answered the phone said theres a 6 week wait time BUT they have no wait list, which means IF I call back in 6 weeks they may tell me to sit tight for another 2-4-6 weeks.. who knows, what a joke.

I'm running their catless downpipes with a stage 2+ tune from Active and I'm impressed by the performance and affordablility!! Active Autowerke was the best choice to supply the performance parts for my E70 X5M.

Great Service and great place. I was today and did a remap in my BMW 535 N55, unfortunately I didnt a dino before and after to compare but I can fell a great difference when driving.Hope a great success to all in Active Autowerke, Ill back soon.Thanks guys.

I purchased a supercharger kit from this company and installed it myself. After the installation, the car had a very bad lag. After many mechanics looked at it and after years of frustration, I chose to put it back to stock. After calling AA for some assistance they realized they sent the wrong injectors with the kit. I eventually sold the car after losing complete interest in dealing with it.

Best shop around... true to their word, provide great service and won't be around the bush. There are places that are cheaper, but not nearly as thorough. They stand behind their work and mean it when they say it is fixed properly.
