Went in for an oil change. Josh and tech were very personable and professional. I asked them to check air filter and cabin filter as well. Both were fine. Generally at some other place they would push changing one or the other, or both. These gentlemen checked and gave me a thumbs up! I went to this place on 10/6/23 and they did a tune up they only checked my tires, flushed my transmission fluid and changed my oil. But managed to put the oil inside of my transmission so now it s ruined. They had me sign a waiver before all of this so now I can t file a report for something in exchange. Horrible service took them an hour and half to do half the service on their check list but managed to check them all off. Not to mention saying they had refilled wiper fluid but it s still as dry as a box of sand.

I had bottom panel on car lose screw and drop down. Pulled In here and the fixed it for free and checked my tires. Really are friendliest place. Will go out of my way to come back and do business here!

I was having trouble with the air in one of my tires this morning. The two gentlemen that were working this morning were very kind and helpful. I will be returning for wiper blades soon! Kind customer service is a rare find these days! Thankful for the peace they brought to my chaotic morning.

Great service, loved how they checked everything (ALL lights, tire pressure, wipers, etc.). I ve been to three other drive up oil change places in Brevard County and none of them provided any of these services during an oil change. Josh took the time to explain every step before they did it, I really appreciate the attention to detail! Afterwards I took my receipt next door for my free car wash Definitely recommend, this will be my go-to oil change spot!

I ve had a couple oil changes at the Merritt Island location and the service has been exceptional. Never had to wait longer than 3 minutes and I m in and out in no time. The prices are great and they make getting an oil change and service as easy as possible. They always do a great job and always check all the fluids and tire pressure before leaving. Last time I even got a free car wash next door just for getting the oil changed. I not only take my car here but also take my mothers car there for all our needs. Two thumbs up. Wouldn t go anywhere else

Michelle and Aaron are wonderful! Appreciate the fast and professional service. Always helpful. Stop going to your car dealer for oil changes. They over charge you and they'll never match Solar Lubes service.

Great experience! In and out within lunch break. Corey and dale were fast and efficient. He quoted me off my specific car, and charged a quarter of what others tried to offer me. Overall would highly recommend!

Great place for oil change. Too bad everyone is also reviewing the car wash which is separate. I love the fact that I didn't have to leave my car and the guys here were so knowledgeable and had the right oil for my 2018 Honda civic hatchback with 6 turbos

This is the worse car repair, oil change place on Merritt Island. I rate them a zero! They are horrible!I was a customer for a few years at Solar Lube til recently...I took my suv in to get a alignment and my drivers side window fixed.I was told it would be about 300 for all repairs and when I picked up my truck I was told the part they ordered only came with the window regulator not the motor.They put the regulator on but no motor so I paid the 300 and was told to bring it back to replace the motor.I don't think the regulator was even broken and my window wouldn't even move the next day.My alignment was also a nightmare. After they were finished my steering wheel pulled to the left and ended up causing wear to my new tires.When I brought my car back to see if they would fix it the manager blamed me and said he wouldn't fix it unless I paid again. Then he said I'd have to pay another 400 to get my window fixed.No thanks! He was rude and I walked out. I will never return there.I also was stolen from over Christmas when I came in for a oil change and car wash I left my car there when I came back my sons Christmas gift (a Google play card) was gone.Save your money and go elsewhere. These guys at Solar lube formerly Sonic Lube are crooks. They probably changed their name because of all the bad reviews. I had no idea so many people had bad experiences with this company.

It took 30+ min to get oil change . I chose Express because I needed it done to get my son to work. I got a (free car wash ) but was passed up by other paying customers.... I would have left if I knew it would be pushed to the back of the line . Now I'm late. Thanks for prompted service.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about - must be one offs. I've been using this place for at least 5+ years and have always been satisfied. They are up frond and honest about the price and work needed. Bill is especially good at explaining any problems or maintenance needed.

They do not do fair business. This auto shop tries to take advantage of you. I went for a standard oil change. The worker gave me no opportunity to ask what kind of oil I wanted. He just checked my chart and assumed I wanted high Mileage. He said he did it because that s what I got last time... I haven t been to this place in 6 months. My last oil change wasn t from them. I don t know how he could assume that s what I wanted. Very rude of him to not even ask. Just hands me the bill as he s trying to get me to buy a car wash and air filter.. I will never go back here again.

this is my favorite place to come for a oil change! they are super fast and they are very friendly. My front bumper was scraping the ground when i came in and they were nice enough to help me fix it. highly recommend!

Solar Lube was my go to place for oil changes. There was an older gentleman running things. Today, under obviously new managent, I arrived at the business at 4:15 p.m. and waited patiently for the truck in front of us to get get finished. At 4:45 p.m. the young man in charge came over after the truck left and informed us they were closed after waiting a half an hour. When I asked him why he left us hanging for so long, his only explanation was he was too busy to let us know. In a business where service is the product, they failed and lost a loyal customer.

I called around for an oil change so I could take my car out of town on a road trip. But everybody said I needed to make an appointment for the next day. I was driving by and I saw that solar lube had quick oil changes with no long waiting period. I was in and out. Solar lube was quick and very professional. Thanks.

very professional,knowledgeable,fast employees kept checking on everyone that was waiting in line and explained everything about what was going on. bonus for me it comes with a free outside car wash , that's where I was going next anyway

The staff was friendly and the oil change was done very quickly. My cabin air filter was brought to me and I was asked if I wanted to replace it. It was a little dirty so I asked how much they were. I was told 39.99 so I said ok. I then started looking for prices of those filters online. They run anywhere from 10 up to 30 for my car. I went out to see if it was too late to change my mind and he told me he already installed it. He said he would give me $8 off the oil change. I said ok, even though the price was still higher than it should have been. After paying and going through the car wash I decided to take a look at the filter they installed. The one that was taken out of my car was box-like. It was sturdy and fit in the case really well. The one they replaced it with, the $39.99 filter, looked like someone took a piece of paper, folded it like a fan and put it in there. I walked in with the filter and asked to see the one they took out. That's when he said, "I asked him [the other guy] about that filter because it looked different and he said that's the one that came up." I said, "That's fine, but I'm NOT paying $40 for this." He apologized, gave me my old filter and credited my card for the amount of the filter. I then went to an auto parts store and bought the same filter as the old one for $15.00.I doubt he sets the prices of the products they offer, but if you aren't replacing something with the same thing you took out of the car, at least make sure your customer is ok with paying the ridiculous amount for an extremely inferior product.I'm still waiting for the credit to show up on my card.Not going back there.

I Have a Dodge Charger. The oil change went smooth then a free car wash. Both mirrors now have scratches and I ve emailed. Hopefully there will be some type of resolution

I would recommend Solar Lube off SR 3 in Merritt island FL to anyone. Quick courteous professional service and honest. Great informative and knowledgeable staff.Go Auburn!!!!

I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes! The guys were super friendly and didn t try to pull any nonsense. Straightforward and to the point, I will forever take my car here for oil changes.
