Wow, highly recommend The Upholstery Man for their outstanding quality, affordable pricing, and speedy completion! I dropped off a large tufted ottoman on Friday afternoon and it was ready for pickup on Monday, looking beyond stunning. They even noticed the base of ottoman was sagging and installed new webbing at no extra charge. That right there shows me that Carlos and his team take pride in their work. I am thrilled to have found them, and will definitely be returning in the very near future. Friendly and professional team, delivering top quality results.

Had a great experience getting 4 kitchen chair seat cushions reupholstered. They were very attentive from the first call i made to them and with follow up. The fabric that was in stock was perfect and the workmanship on the cushions was top notch! They did the work in about 3 hours. I honestly couldn't believe how quickly he got them done. They do a lot of auto body upholstery repairs, but they are just as good with furniture. I highly recommend them.

I had an old chair from the 50s reupholstered here and it came out great! Carlos and his wife are wonderful people! I ve been searching for a good upholstery place for a long time and now I ve finally found one I m thrilled to recommend!

This gentleman caused over 1000 dollars in damage to our vehicle and tried to offer us a discount to fix the leather seats he broke. It was immediately apparent that the owner who is well over 300lbs put his knee in our front passenger seats and tore the leather. He refused to acknowledge the damage and after we provided photos proof of the cars condition prior to him he told us that the leather was old and cheap. Run from this company.

The worst experience of my life.Asked them to make a cover for a cargo box. The workmanship was so bad, I refused to accept such shoddy workmanship and he would not correct the job. He was not present but one of his employees was present and acknowledged the terrible job and offered to redo the co er as it's supposed to be. I just brought my truck in to have the sagging headliner, as you can see in the first picture, replaced. I think they did a great job & my trucks headliner looks like new (2nd photo) They had it back to me the same day also.

Just my entire Porsche 911 seats reupholstered by this company. They came highly recommended so I took a chance and brought my seats from key west which was a 4 hour drive each way. After two weeks I drove back and was almost brought to tears when I saw the quality of the work! I would highly recommend the upholstery man for any reupholstering you need!

Carlos was great. He was very accommodating. He answered every call and all questions . Straight shooter. I had my headliner replaced. Wow, like brand new. Color matched perfectly. He even repaired my visor for me. The entire experience from the first call to receiving my receipt was phenomenal!!!!!!!! I highly recommend Universal Auto Upholstery.

i brought my 2009 car here to get the headliner redone . nothing in my car was broken when i dropped it off. when i went to pick up my car the own son walked up to me to tell me my driver side visor was broken and not to open it all the way because it will fall down. the driver side visor cost $130 for the part the cost of the headliner is $150. i argued with the owner and he kept finding a tone of excuse to why it broke not known that i am not a fool and i work on cars myself. in the picture you can see the missing screws and damage visor .. they jammed at it till it broke and all you have to do is press the button with your finger to unlock it. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. Mark Twain

WARNING! Avoid this place at all costs!! Carlos the owner was suppose to fix my mother-in-laws car. He upholstered the car and in the process damaged it. My mother in law picked up the car and noticed the window was not working when she got in. She asked why it was not working now, he said he was too busy to come look at the car and he told them to bring the car the following week. She noticed 10 minutes later when she got to work there was a large dent and scratches by the back tire. He had the nerve to yell and be rude with my father when he called and asked about the damages. Since then, Carlos has given them the run around and hasn't fixed it. The days he tells them to come to the shop he's not there or available. His employee Alan told my parents that he would relay the message and he assured them Carlos would give them a call back. He never did. My parents paid $2675 cash and also left with over $800 in damages to their car which were quoted by a repair company. The work is mediocre as well as the panel on the drivers side comes off if you re not careful. I urge you to take your car somewhere else.

I brought in my 2010 Toyota Camry to have my carpet replaced due to my kids destroying it and also needed my headliner done. Jodi and Carlos were extremely kind and professional. They helped me decide on which color is best to go with and explained everything to me. Pricing was very fair compared to other places and the job was done the same day & looked amazing! I even had my kids there with me and Jodi was so sweet with them and kept them busy while I discussed some things overs with Carlos. I love that they are a family owned company and I HIGHLY reccomend them. Thanks again guys. I'll be back for any other car or home upholstery needs!!!

Brought my 2006 GMC duramax to Carlos at upholstery man to fix my falling headliner. They helped match my color almost perfectly and also got my arm rest done . Work was better than I could of asked for. Thank you for your wonderful work and for being reasonably priced.

The best service I could ask for! I went in for a new headliner and carpet. He did a wonderful job. He listened and did everything I asked for. He kept me posted with updates on how everything was going. Recommended the best options for what I wanted to do. Highly recommend his service. He has so much knowledge and is very detailed oriented.

It is shameful for a business that a client comes to the point of giving a bad review due to the business inaction. Initially, both my wife and I were happy with the upholstery repairs themselves. We took our EOS VW to have the interior fixed. Carlos and team did a good work but when picking up the car, we noticed that the windows were not rolling down. Bring the car back and we will fix it. Well, even though we both work Monday to Friday and the upholstery man conveniently doesn t work on weekends, we manage to take again the car during the week. Upon completion of the window problem, my wife went to pick up the car. Unfortunately she left without thoroughly checking the car and when she arrived to work, she noticed a big dent on the back left side less than 10 minutes later. She called Carlos immediately and sent him via text several pictures. He responded that it was hard to assess as he never moved the car from one spot. I called him later on to discuss the damage only to have a mean conversation with Carlos in which he said why didn t, your wife check the car before removing it from the parking lot and who knows where you had your car dented and now you want to pin it on me . We ended the conversation with his bring it and we ll see That same day, my wife called him and very nicely explained to Carlos the dent problem plus an additional problem with the door not opening. He was very nice to her (which he was not to me) and told her to bring the car. We did, and Carlos knew the day we were taking the car. Alan, his employee received us and told us that Carlos was not in, that he (Alan) would fix the door problem but he did not know anything about the dent. When we picked up the car, the door was fixed. Alan told us that he would relay the dent message to Carlos and that we should expect a phone call. Well, it has been over two months and we never heard from him. The cost of the dent has been valued at around $800 dollars. I paid for the upholstery repairs $2675.00 (not cheap).Beware of taking your car because although the upholstery repairs are decent ,your car may come out damaged and dented. Do you really want a confrontation with someone who does not take responsibility?

Quick, efficient, and quality. They installed a top on my BMW z3, which was destroyed, and I couldn't be happier with my results. Carlos and staff are helpful and honest. Will def be recommending to anyone in need of upholstery repair, and will use again! Thanks Upholstery Man

Great craftsmanship and materials. Had my motorcycle seat totally reupholstered and customized. Carlos and Jody were fantastic and kept me informed at all stages of work and shipping from Michigan. Could not be more happy with my seat. Would not hesitate to use them in the future !!

Brought in my droopy headliner shell to get it reupholstered, Carlos was very professional and was able to get it back to me in a couple days all for a good price. Great quality work from the guys at Upholstery Man, 100% recommend!

Came out to my car examined it give me a very fair price they had to what are materials for my car took no deposit and said he'll be in a week and he would call me in advance I would definitely do business with them and can't wait to have my card.

I contacted Upholstery Man to redo two sitting chairs for me. From the first contact they were responsive and pleasant to work with. I took the chairs in for an estimate, and received a fair price. Best of all, I was told I would have them in a week. These chairs were over 50 years old and had been in storage, so required a lot of clean up. The chairs look beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. I am so happy to have these family heirlooms in my home. Thank you to Upholstery Man!

I would never recommend this company to anybody, definitely not for a vehicle. Zero or negative stars would be more appropriate.I purchased a custom leather kit for my 2007 Acura TL and have never experienced such poor workmanship. Not only was the leather a disaster but these so called experts broke almost every piece they touched in my car. They left the back seat unbolted because they stripped all the holes where the bolts were supposed to be inserted. They also installed the arm rest in the back incorrectly. These are just some of the issues with this installation. On top of this disaster, the exterior was covered in white soot all over the place and the worker tracked mud throughout the back of my vehicle.I took the vehicle to a reputable place and they cringed when I showed them the job. They had to take the vehicle apart piece by piece including reinstalling the leather on every seat. What originally they believed to be a simple job turned into a 2 day job once they started removing the seats and seeing the havoc that this company let loose on my vehicle.To top it all off, the comany refused to refund me the mony spent to have them destroy my car.

Had head liner repaired. They ended breaking the molding on my Audi A6. They had the nerve to tell me it that they can't prevent parts from breaking and for me try finding them in a junk yard. They didn't even bother to replace or repair them. Don't recommend them to anyone.

I tried to clean my leather office chair with a Mr. Clean Eraser, big mistake, don't try to clean leather with an eraser. The leather pealed off and looked terrible. I took the armrest to the Upholstery Man not knowing if it could be fixed. Well, they not only fixed it, they actually made it better by adding a cushion to better support my arms.So bottom line, the people at the Upholstery man are professionals. They repaired the armrests in one day, matched the color exactly and added a feature that made the arms better. The price was in line with the repair, so I'm happy! Its nice to have a place that does what it does with excellence and professionalism,

Very expensive I just need reupholstered my to front seat and he came out and look at my car and gave me 1700 to do the two front seat and I had to take them out and bring to him. Wont get my business for sure

Owners couldn't even come out to solve a window seal with silicone.Blamed it on THEIR employee Bill, saying he is their Saturday Subcontractor.Bad business yelling at a customer, its YOUR employee, YOUR company, and YOUR Reputation.don't blame it on me no receipt 6 times. Instead just fix the problem, would have cost you 10 minutes and probably $4.00I don't have time to make calls to people who represent your company.2 owners in a screaming match being defensive standing on a policy instead of their workmanship.They could have done an entire interior on the Jaguar.Instead they choose to lose thousands in future work...good luck if you use Upholstery Man
