I've been a truck driver since 2013 and I honestly can't tell you of a shop better than this, in the entire east coast of the US! I've driven from Florida to Maine, to Oregon and back. Between pricing customer service and communication (including timing of service), very very VERY rarely do you find a shop that can get a in ALL the boxes this one definitely hit the mark! Would recommend this shop to EVERYONE! A special thank you to Kim and was fantastic very caring and all around great person! Thank you so much for helping getting me back to my family safe I really appreciate you and you wonderful service!

The receptionist Kim was very helpful & pleasant. I had both my car window motors replaced. The they did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable, honest, & fair.Great place to go if you need a good mechanic.

This is THE go to shop for all your vehicle service needs! Kim & Dustin are professional, honest, hard working and ensure you the best service. I thought I had a major issue with my truck, turned out to be something minor. They are extremely trustworthy and exceptional at their trade. I highly recommend them to anyone an everyone! They are officially my new go to shop for all my vehicle needs in the future!!!

American Automotive of Sunrise is TRUSTWORTHY, FAIR, FAST, and FRIENDLY!! This is one auto mechanic shop you can trust without any fears. Justin and Kim are professionals who do EXACTLY what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, and for the price they quote you up-front. My car runs like a dream now. American Automotives mechanic's Dustin & Kim are wonderful people. They are very efficient, caring, and courteous to their customers. They help me with my car for the last several years now, and I wouldn't take my car any place else but to them. They are the best mechanics around. This is my go to mechanic. They are very trust worthy and professional. They are not like the typical mechanic who tries to get over on you. They get the job done right the first time. They are just good people which is a rare find in this industry. I have a 28-year-old Toyota Corolla. A few weeks ago it developed electrical problems. My old mechanic retired and the people who took overhis business were unprofessional and did nothing to earn my trust. I needed to find a new mechanic.I looked at the reviews of the mechanics near me and was surprised to see so many five-star reviews for American automotive of sunrise.I called American automotive and talked to Kim. She had an opening in one week. I made the appointment and at the end of one weekI brought my car in and talked to Dustin and he was able to get a good ideaof what the problem might be and told me when he could begin work.When the repairs began Dustin kept me informed and was very professional and friendly.Dustin was able to find the parts needed for my old car and fixed the electrical problem. The price was very reasonable.It is such a pleasure to know that I now have a reliable honest and professional mechanic for my old car.I have told three people in the last week about American automotive of sunrise.I am going to recommend Dustin and Kim to all of my friends and family.Services: Electrical repair, Oil change

Found American Automotive shop online and made an appointment. They were very friendly and informative. Provided them my car repair problem. Dustin diagnosed my car and explained the problem and his repair solutions and cost were reasonable. I am a AAA member and had always used an actual AAA garage up in OH. I needed to find a garage that was approved by AAA snd this was the closest to me. I have been three times now and this last time cemented my faith and appreciation for Dustin and Kim. They went above and beyond to find out what the issue with my car was and my gratitude is unending. It is such a blessing to meet honest, hardworking people who want to do their jobs and not take advantage of you. Fantastic experience, which isn't something usually said about auto service centers. Kim was great, and the techs were knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. They were not pushy and didn't recommend unnecessary "fixes" which is something I've experienced at the dealership.

From start to finish, the experience with American Automotive of Sunrise was great! Kim, who answered the phone was always super sweet and very knowledgeable on what was happening to my car. She was assertive and made sure all of my questions were answered. My jeep was towed in and they quickly diagnosed it. The starter was not receiving enough power to start the car and it was ready in less than a couple hours, that was after they managed to fit in an oil change on such short notice. I am so pleased with the entire staff, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a reliable and honest mechanic and overall business! It is so hard to find an auto mechanic who not only does quality work, but is also dependable, honest and completely trust worthy. Best auto repair shop experience that I've ever had! I recently moved from NYC to south Florida area, and I found American Automotive of Sunrise via AAA. I decided to try them after seeing all the 5-star reviews. And now I know why they have 5 stars!!!!! Dustin, Jacob, and Kim are super-friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very reasonable with their pricing. Also, their little Pomeranian dog Nelson is super-cool and sweet. It's easy to tell how they treat their customers like family. Highest recommendation that I can give. I'm grateful to have found this auto repair shop. Dustin and Kimberly are the most honest people. They never have overcharged me, ever. I took my car in for an oil change and they explained everything in detail for me. Dustin even vacuumed my car. Dustin explained that this is how things used to be and they want to bring this back for their customers. Kimberly explained to me that I will need new tires in a few months. Her consideration of my budget made me feel understood and I feel better now that I have a few months to save. They are also so accommodating with your schedule. I am so grateful for the service and care my car receives at American Automotive of Sunrise.

I can't recommend this place enough! The only honest mechanics I have ever met in Florida, who are also courteous and very consistent. I've been going here for a few years now. There are many places closer to where I live, but I make the trip to American Automotive because they are worth every penny.
