I had an awesome experience. I had a bad oil leak in my older jeep and got a referral from friends that have used their services. First of all listened to what I had to say, which is big as so many do not. I dropped jeep off first thing Monday morning and within about an hour got a phone call with diagnosis and when it would be ready the same day. I even added in an oil change and picked my vehicle up after work. I am so impressed and will refer this garage to anyone who need repairs. Reasonable, reliable and so prompt and courteous. I am one satisfied customer. The shop is also clean atmosphere. Thanks so much guys

Fantastic service. Very helpful and informative. Did not have to wait too long. Solved the problem. Mike, Zac and the tech were excellent. Highly recommend!!!! I had taken my car to multiple places and none of the other places could solve the problem, including the car dealership. Brought it to Ice Cold Air and problem solved.

I was on my mobility scooter and the battery went dead so I stopped to ask if I could plug the in to charge it for a few minutes the mgr. said if course, he came outside and showed me exactly where I could plug it in saying NO PROBLEM, TAKE YOUR TIME. A few minutes later I called a battery place to get batteries bcaz obviously it's the batteries & they needed the amps on the now batteries so I asked again if I could pay them to take battery pack apart to see what it is & again NO PROBLEM so they're doing it as I type this note. Three men are amazingly caring & will do your job impeccably I assure you. The consideration is beyond consideration to say the least. Gooooooooooo ICE COLD AIR! #TheBESTallRound

I had an AC issue with my truck. Zach was great to work with. He got me in and out the same day and communicated each step along the way.Even better the repair came in under what I was expecting and came with a 2 year warranty.

We broke down the other day while filling up just across the street from these guys. I knew it was the serpentine belt and felt complete devastation since my wife isn't well and has a very bad back condition. I thought I was going to end up buying a hotel room, paying for a tow service, and then possibly waiting for the part. While I silently panicked and began calling people in this area, asking if they could help, my wife looks up and points to this place and says "Hey call them!" and so I did. I thought it was an extremely slim chance they'd be able to help that day, much less immediately but they said they could and they had access to getting the part as well. Casey and Mike were so professional and helpful in making my wife comfortable as possible while we waited, bringing her a fan, and place to sit with her laptop. Fortunately, they were right across the street, and I made it without needing a tow also. In under two hours, we were on our way home! My air conditioning is hot again, they did that maintenance, knowing that there was a leak in the system, and when they told me they compressor was leaking, it was too late, they had already done the Evac and re-charge, I just lost $225 for nothingUpdate: I guess the evc and recharge was a troubleshooting technique to identify the leak, no maintenance was performed and they are offering to fill my system with freon upon removal and replacement of the compressor. Not very impressed with the breakdown of the communication, appreciate the follow-up to catch me up to speed, would like to find a resolution before I update my review any further, most likely will not return after final servicing which is disappointing because I have a lot that needs done.

This might be my new mechanic!About a month ago I went in for what I thought was going to a huge A/C replacement and recharge.These guys identified the real problem, which was a super small leak and an easy job. I paid a lot less than I expected and had the car back at the end of the workday!It's been a month and my AC still works great. Thanks for everything!

I must admit it was my first time using a discount place and I was a bit skeptical about getting the runaround...My air was blowing hot and my car is a 12 year old Honda ( but well taken care of ) I was told all I had was a small leak and the price to fix...After I had freon put in that day I came back in a few days to have the leak fixed and Zack the manager, told me to it was ok to wait on the leak and drive it and even if in a few months it started blowing warm again he wouldn't charge me again except for the leak repair...I asked enough questions and was surprised at his honesty...I definitely would recommend this small shop on East Bay Drive...as they say, You can't judge a book by it's cover... If i could give zero stars i for sure would. Beware, i had my car here 3 times for the same issue freon runs out after 30 days. The second attempt to fix before my son was born in october they stated it was their parts that were faulty and it would be under warranty, ok great. 30 days later with a new born my ac is blowing warm air again. I take it back and they want to charge for more work because they said magically its a new leak. ,(again same issue freon leaked out in 30days of last recharge) i asked them to not touch my car and it took it back to my regular shop who did not have their tech in back in august so i chose ice cold air for the ac repairs. The shop i normally go to asked if they ever put dye in it to find where any and all leaks were coming from, i showed this shop all reciepts of work done and what they were stating was wrong this time. They never put dye in the system to check the leaks. I will update this review when the work is complete but ill bet my ac wont run out after 30 days after the correct work is done.Im also not the only one with a review like this so please be careful especially if youre depending on the work being done correctly.In response as to what looked like a corporate response on here ill let eveeyone know they also wanted to use STOP LEAK on my ac which may or may not fix your issue or badly damage or clog your a.c. they never tested my a.c. but made sure they tried to also make money on an oil.change that was due and transmission fluid change as well as also checking out my engine. Even my regular shop wanted to know what any of that had to do with fixing my a.c. correctly?In short thank god i didnt let them dump stop leak in my a.c.

Casey and his techs did an incredible job getting my Jeep's AC system working (which has never worked since buying the truck). They certainly went above and beyond and have won a life long customer. I won't go anywhere else. It's been a long time since I've seen customer service like I got at Ice Cold Air.. very refreshing!

I brought my Jeep in to have the A/C fixed, and was charged over 600.00 they charge for the repair and refill of system. Worked but not very cold for around 12 hours. picked up at 5pm and by 7 am the next morning it was blowing hot again and the actuators were making noise behind passengers dash, which they NEVER did before taking it in. Called and spoke to Mike the owner, he said bring it back in so we can make this right for you.... brought it back in and they had it for 2 days. Mike was not there.... They called me and said it needed all these parts and labor costs to fix actuators, but told ac works now, as long as fan settings are not touched. I opted to not have them touch anything else and the ac blew cold again for a few hours but by morning it did not work AGAIN. Will not be going back, nor do i recommend them to anyone. I was told they are the best but after this and the money spent, i wouldn't trust them with anything. I work hard and am also a full time student paying for school so my money is beyond spread thin and i gave them my over worked money to do what i thought was going to be a quality job and I feel I was robbed of it.Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

These guys came highly recommended so we drove from west St Pete to Largo and in doing so saved over a thousand dollars as quoted from another shop locally. We are very glad and satisfied with their work.They take the time to explain the problem to you! Mike and Casey are the best! I've just recently bought a 2012 Camaro that I have consistently had issues with the A/C It wasn't until I brought it to ICA did I find out that it's the wiring and not the air. So that was somewhat of a relief just finding out the issue. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was totally comfortable leaving my car for an estimate. They were quick and answered all of my questions. Hands down I would most definitely recommend these guys!

The manager was very helpful. He's not there to rip you off he's there to make your air conditioner work. He seems to be very honest. Just remember when your air conditioner isn't working. It's going to be probably expensive to get working again just like everything else now it's going to be expensive. I would definitely take my car here again if I had a problem

Brought in my 2006 Ford Explorer to have the air conditioner worked on. Casey was awesome. Great service and a great price. We brought the car in late on Wednesday, and it was done first thing in the morning on Thursday. Tremendous experience.

I am pretty mechanically inclined and installed a new compressor on my Jaguar F-type. There was a small leak in my system and I was referred to this shop to find the leak since I don't have the equipment to locate a leak myself. These guys tried to tell me that I would have to pay a mandatory $525 fee for the 'evac and recharge' service which is an EXTREME markup. My AC system was already empty so there was nothing to evac, and I had the refrigerant at home which cost me $130 at the local auto store. After arguing, they removed that fee and it became clear that these guys are not trustworthy. On top of that, I still paid $300 for them to replace two easy-access o-rings and the AC system is still leaking!Service: A/C installation & repair

Brought my gmc pickup into this shop to have the A/C repaired as the compressor was not working and I wanted a second opinion. I was quoted $1500 to have the compressor replaced at another shop. Mike and his crew informed me that it was not actually the compressor that was bad and actually was a simple switch and a cheap fix. Very pleased and will definitely be using them again.Service: Electrical repair

My A/C decided it didn t want to work properly in the summer heat, the temperature with heat index was 104�. Jim was able to give me a general idea of the issue before coming in, it was confirmed that I needed to replace my radiator cooling fan. He went above and beyond, I seriously cannot thank him enough for helping me get the part I needed at an affordable price.Hope that this review will help others with this issue. I have a 2017 Nissan Rogue (Sport) and apparently the part required is extremely hard to come by right now due to the type of vehicle that it is (Nissan will tell you that it is in an indefinite backorder, meaning NO ETA on when the part will be available).Jim was so kind to call around all over, even went through a radiator warehouse provider out of state, unfortunately it was a little bit more than what I could afford (Over $600 just for the part + shipping). What blew me away was he took the extra time to find it online for a third of the price and provided the direct link right away, so I could get the part ordered. Once I have the part, they ll be able to correct the a/c issue right away. Will be sharing my experience with everyone I can. After receiving an estimate from another shop for $3000, we came here. Mike performed a free diagnostic which found that most of the stuff the last folks deemed necessary wasn t in need of repair. Coming here saved us $1500 even with using OEM parts! The work was performed very fast and included a two year warranty. We couldn t be more pleased.Service: Air conditioning

Spent over 1000.00 dollars last year to replace entire unit. Took back twice as it still blows hot air after they "fix it" . Took in last week and they wouldn't even look at it as the hood would not stay up . Needs a hood strut? Never had a problem with my hood before I took it there. Don't waste your time or money here. I'll try and post back when I find a place that stands by their work and has a mechanic that can figure out how to hold a hood up.

I really liked the customer service, and attitude they had there, did a good job of looking at my all around car. Unfortunately what was wrong with my car could not be recreated, Yet they told it to me straight, and did not make up some random thing that was broken just so I could pay for a car that isnt really working anyways. Very honest, and I appreciate that with a car company. I d rather know to get my car fixed would be a ridiculous amount of money, then have all of these parts fixed when I m better off buying a new car, one that isn t going to shut down, and have many reoccurring problems.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my truck there they told us when to bring it and we supplied the parts. We went because the price quote was good. No communication on when the truck would be completed. We had to call daily for any info and Danny kept saying tomorrow. It took them a week to replace a power window motor, door lock and door handle with the parts supplied. Excuse was only one tech. Then be honest and stop excepting work you do not have time to complete. Got the truck back and the door handle broke (not their fault). They said to bring it back the next day. Again no communication unless we reached out. Again Danny kept saying next day. Finally a week in he says he has to order a part. So I ordered the part and delivered in 1.5 days later to the store. Still took 3 more days and then was told it would be completed next day. So almost 2 weeks later I get the truck back. Guess what the door panel is not all the way on and is hanging off on the bottom because they didn't even put all the clips in correctly. Nope they will never touch any of my 3 cars again. I brought my car in without an appt last week bc my ac wasn't working. The cute girl at the front was very friendly and got me in right away. My car was done pretty fast and the price was very reasonable. I wish I knew of this place before. Definitely will use this place again!
