Jayson came out and sealed roof, serviced five slides, replaced bulb seals on all 5, and replaced one wipe. He is very professional, prompt, respectful of property, and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Jayson / Traveler's RV Service.

Jayson 100% cares about his customers! I'm a full time RV-er and can do a lot of things myself, but when it comes to electrical issues I know to call an expert. When my AC completely went out, in the middle of summer, in north Florida, I panicked! A friend told me to give him a call and he was able to come out that day to evaluate the situation. During the process of replacing the AC he was caring enough to suggest other maintenance necessities I could do myself to save money and keep my home in tip top shape. My dogs and I thank you greatly for all your help! We will be return customers.Service: Air conditioning

Came to check my transfer switch and told me it was bad and he could get me a new one for about $1500.00, I told him I would order one and have him install it, charged me $ 276.00. I found the problem on my own without a new switch. Called him 2 weeks later for something else and he texted me he was in the shower and had to go to a gender reveal party and would call me. Never bothered to call so the next day I called twice with no answer the second time I told him to atleast answer the phone or call and if he didn't then to grow up. Today he texted me and said he was in Atlanta and his father died, if true he could have atleast texted and said he was out of town. Do I believe him or would I recommend him, a big Flat No.

We are vacationing out of state with our living quarters horse trailer and the ac wasn t working nor the lights. I called and left a message on voicemail and received a call back within the hour. Jayson (owner of the company) called and asked what kind of problems we were having, we explained and he asked me to try a couple of things, I did and we came to the conclusion that the converter had gone out. He fortunately had exactly what we needed on hand, drove 45 minutes at 11:00 pm and repaired our trailer. He replaced the part only to realize that our batteries also needed water, they are marine batteries, he fixed that as well. Jason was very professional, he drove out late at night, repaired the trailer and made sure all was well before he left. He was very thorough and did not rake me over the coals as he could have due to the situation at hand. I would HIGHLY recommend Jayson and Travelers Rv to anyone that needs work done on your horse trailer, travel trailer or motor home!! Very thankful to him for getting us fixed so quickly!!!Service: Air conditioning

Jason Vanzant is a lying tweeker. Where to even begin. Laundry list of repair items totaling several thousand $.Inverter issues he caused, slide seals were falling off in 2 hours due to no surface prep. Show up for half hour then disappear. Removed 2 slide motors, and disappeared for over a week with no contact. Stuck in a park without sewer hookups, slides out. That got fun fast. Finally he calls to say he had been in the hospital for emergency gallbladder surgery, but when he finally showed up, he had no idea were the incision sites were.I year old Xantrex that he installed burned up while we were waiting. He removed and set up our trickle charger. Was to have warranty repairs done and call us when it was ready. 3 months of phone calls, text and emails, mostly unanswered. Finally asked for tracking information for shipping to Xantrex repair facility. Got blasted by his wife for my audacity. Finally "ready ".We went back to Lake City to have it reinstalled. He didn't even show up. He sent some "guy that helps him out", after dark. Didn't even knock to let us know he was there. I heard him messing with the bay. I refused to let him install it without proof that it was fixed. When he opened the panel, it was still full of burned up wires.Cost us a small fortune to have everything properly repaired by someone else. Not to mention the additional damage he did.

Jason showed up right away told us our converter was bad after about 3 hours of talking and working he replaced the converter with a supposed new one left it hanging sideways charged $553.00 said he would be back next day to check on converter. Our ac and lights went out again the next day. He came out 2 days later and said it was the thermostat which I picked up the next day. He came out replaced it still no ac Jason said it was a plug like a phone plug said he had old acs at home would be back next day.he was a no show and no call, it took him 3 days to answer said he was working on his truck. He was actually rude like we were bothering him. So we called American Dreams RV they came out the next day said it was the converter that Jason sold us was old and Jason had left the top off our ac and it had been raining for 3 days so we had our ac fixed converter replaced and phone clips all replaced in 3 days and it is working perfect. THEN WE FOUND OUT THAT JASON from TRAVELERS RV is BANNED from our RV park.Services: Electrical, Air conditioning, Battery

Most bizarre unprofessional experience I ve ever had with these people. Jayson came out for a diagnostic on my bedroom air condition unit. I was at work so my parent worked with him on my behalf. After a quick half hour assessment, he quoted over a thousand dollars for a used replacement that he happened to have in stock. He was paid in advance and a day and time was scheduled. The day comes and no call. We call him and turns out he will be late, which is a bit annoying but fine, so we reschedule for a better day. Over the weekend I was able to experience sleeping without the second air condition and decided it wasn t worth the 1000 bucks (I thought it was kind of steep anyway for a used unit) so, we called to let him know I changed my mind and his wife goes on and on double talking with excuse after excuse why they can t refund. Giving guilt trips and everything. Well they finally agreed to refund only $672 of the $1034 because of charges for restocking fees (But wasn t the Unit used? Smh) and the 140 dollar service call (that lasted 30 minutes). It s been 3 weeks and still no refund. These people are thieves! And we found out HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A LICENSE to do some of the services he offers! He needs to be shut down. BUYER BEWARE. Also, if you leave him a bad review, he texts you and tries to guilt trip you that you are trying to ruin his business. The guy is crazy.

We had an electrical issue and refrigerator not working. I had just filled the Refrigerator full for a week of traveling. I called Jason on our way into a Campground in Lake City and he came out that night and fixed the fridge and temporarily got our electric working, until he could come back the next day and work during daylight. He was back the next afternoon with 4 new batteries, cleaned both A/C s, trouble shooting other issues also. Very knowledgeable, honest, and dependable. Even though I m headed back home to Michigan, I ve asked him questions about other repairs I may need to get fixed and he s helped me over the phone as well.

I don't trust him no farther than I can throw him. He took an hour to tell how good he is and about $300.00. He took some parts and left. I had to go to his house and get my stuff where camping world could fix it. You can tell when he's lying. His lips are moving. Stay away.

We lost our air conditioning in the middle of a trip and found this online. Jayson got back to us and was able to diagnose and fix our problem on the same day. His prices were fair, he did a great job and treated us with the respect and care of a family member. His help and expertise allowed us to continue our trip. We will call him again when on the road. He has 20 years of experience and gave us several tips on the upkeep of our RV. Thanks to Jayson!

We changed our minds to replace a bedroom RV AC unit after paying up front. The owner agreed to give us a refund for labor not done and the cost of the used AC. It's been over a month and still no refund. My bank is involved now with a dispute claim. We are looking into filing a police report and theft. We are on a fixed income and losing money that was virtually stolen is difficult to accept. The owner texted me and said he wasn't that kind of person but after a month, apparently he is. Paying up front should not mean losing a refund for any reputable business.

I had the same experience as the other negative reviews. My opinion is Jason is a drug addict. Many times during the day he would get very antsy and need to leave for some BS reason (always changing). Leaving half his tools, loosing his phone, getting lost,...very disorganized. He NEVER even finished the job (brakes on 5th wheel trailer)--claimed he would come back next day--never showed but I was actually happy to see him leave. Everything he actually did had to be re-done. He did more damage than repair. His excuses, and private life dramas were a joke. His son is a nice young man-obviously embarrassed at the antics of this looser-but his son is in HS and obviously inexperienced and incapable--as is Jason. Very unprofessional, un-knowledgeable, and a disaster of a "mechanic". DO NOT HIRE!!!! I lost $1200 and got absolutely nothing done! Just a bunch of starting to do something, leaving, returning, starting, leaving, and then forgetting me altogether. The only thing I am grateful for is that he forgot to come back--even though I lost $1200 in the deal--I think I came out better than if he continued to "tear through" the job and make more things worse than he did.

I was reccomended Jason's name while searching for assistance on repairing my first motorhome's MANY electrical issues. Being a full-timer, having things like my washer, AC, & fridge work are very important and Jason was very invested in bettering my situation. Quick service, very professional and personable, and i couldn't be happier with the corrections made not to mention the customer-teaching was extremely informative and helpful. I will most defintely be seeking his services in the future with any and all repairs/maintenance.

Jason performed all my annual service to my Class A gas, sealed my roof and all caulk joints on body. He did an excellent job. He then diagnosed and replaced my Lippert slide mechanism on a very large slide out. It's an aggravating repair, but he did it an excellent job. Then this week diagnosed a problem with my Lippert leveling jacks, and repaired it...all works great. He will be the first person I call with problems.

Need to have my porch awning assembly replaced. Paid Jayson for the complete assembly. Never received the awning just an excuse about his distributor going out of business because of the hurricane and two deaths in their warehouse. Looked it up, no reported deaths of security guards in a warehouse in North Carolina. I was able to order the assembly directly from the Manufacturer and install it myself. The price was also lower for the part than quoted by Jayson. Man appears to be dishonest to say the least (in my opinion) ..

Stay away from this guy. Came out and replaced a air conditioner for me, sold me a 13,500btu and charged me for a 15,000 and I specifically asked for a 15,000btu. When he removed the old AC he tore the aluminum roof of the cargo trailer, tore it a good foot back, never told me and just put some caulking on it. It leaked! After installing the AC he connected the wiring wrong to the existing control and it burnt the fan motor up in the new AC. The control was for a AC with heat pump and the new AC didn t have that feature so a wire needed disconnected, the second vendor I had out to fix all his mistakes knew this right away. His son and he got up on the flimsy aluminum roof like it was a rv roof and stomped around, dented it in, didn t use some plywood or anything to walk on. He had his son lift the AC up to him and threw my 2 year old one off the roof destroying it, it was supposedly bad but still may have been able to do something with it. I also told him he or I could use my tractor with pallet forks on it to put it up there?! I asked to just get the labor dollars back from the bill. Not the money for the wrong AC and no reply from him.I also called him asking him to come out when the new AC quit working and roof was leaking. He just comes up with excuses, lies.If in need of RV repairs in Lake City area call American Dreams, not this guy, he is a very unprofessional, dishonest, joke.

Came out diagnosed the problem we had been having with our electrical panel. Ordered the the part and minutes we were up and running. No leaving our RV for months in the shop. Jayson helped me with a few minor issues while he was on site. Will definitely use again.

These ppl do not know what they are doing at all. My RV was losing pressure and they tried to do some temporary fix, this cause more alarms to go off and a horrible vibration. Jayson claimed it had nothing to do with what they did, but plugging a valve line cause more problems. The next day he put a new valve in the rear and the rv lost all pressure down to 35 psi. As of this moment the RV will not move and is sitting dead. They clearly have no clue what they are doing. Now I have to have my vehicle towed and find out what they messed up. Of course he then claimed that this was a new problem not of his doing. Same thing he claimed about the sirens & vibrations had nothing to do with them crimping a line. I'll be suing him for damages. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS! HENCE ONLY ONE REVIEW OTHER THAN MINE. Update: had I known this to begin with I would never have hired him. He told me he was a service manager for 15 years at that moment I realize he wasn't a mechanic and a service manager is not even close to being a Certified mechanic

Jason responded promptly, communicated well, he guided me through the process with the insurance claim, he clearly showed me the problem with transparency, and he did a great job with expediting the replacement of my AC unit. I would recommend his services!

They have great service! My dad was traveling from michigan to florida on new years eve when his rv broke down on i75. They came out within 1 hour, found out the problem, helped him get to a safe location, ordered the parts he needed and all again on a holiday. They came back out with the parts on new years day and worked on his rv, got him all set. While all of this was happening, the owner kept me posted back in michigan knowing how worried I was for my 80 year old dad being broke down on the side of the interstate, far away! Not only was their service prompt, they were reasonably priced and most importantly their service was awesome! They were for sure a godsend for my dad who was in an impossible situation. Thanks so much!!!

Had an electrical issue on my 39 diesel pusher. Lost All accessory power to the heater fan, electric seat adjustments, wiper and more. Called on Sunday afternoon late and they had a tech to me within 1/2 hour. Electricity is a pain and their tech thoroughly traced the issue to a bad solenoid in the main controller panel. Not an easy issue to findCan t say enough about the terrific job!
