John it s pretty much the only mechanic I trust in this town. He s very fair very honest and I ve never had any issues with him or his work.

Dealt with the owner directly, and he is an honest man. We were in the middle of a long drive back home (9 hours to go) and stopped for a flashing check engine light. They were able to quickly determine the issue and go about fixing it (replace a single ignition coil). Sadly, his guy replaced the wrong coil. Owner offered for us to come back in and he'd fix it, but we were already an hour away. He refunded us the full amount and told us what to tell the next mechanic we bring it to for a quick fix. If we get the chance, we will definitely go back to actually be able to give him some work for his help and honesty.Service: Engine repair

I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment to have my car serviced under an extended warranty for an air conditioner issue. The car was dropped off the following Friday. That next Monday I was told they did not want to repair my car that they called the warranty. They did not call the warranty company I had to take my car somewhere else and I had to pay out-of-pocket for a rental car that should have been covered had he called.

I've used this place twice and both times were great experiences. Quick work, honest and half the cost of the in town dealerships. Its nice to find a repair shop that doesn't bs you on prices or what actually needs fixed.Services: Brakes, Air conditioningServices: Brakes, Air conditioning

I originally went to Complete Automotive because my A/C wasn't working and had seen good reviews. They charged my system with dye and I returned when it no longer cooled. They found the leak in the rear evaporator gave me an estimate and completed the work. My A/C works great now.Because of the great A/C experience, I returned a month later for front driver side noise. It turned out to be my brakes. My car sounds and feels much better now.

Tried to go to the mechanic near by that I had an appt with the day prior and it was the sketchiest place I ve ever seen in my life, plus no one was even there to help me. It looked like something out of a zombie apocalypse.Anyway, the next mechanic on Google was Complete Auto so I called them because my car was really spazzing out. The phone was immediately answered and they took my car right away and did an amazing job at a great price. This is the best mechanic in Lake City. Highly recommend. Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Jon has very reasonable prices and doesn't give you all the extras. He's very busy but still fixed my vehicle in a decent timeframe.

I have only good things to say about Complete Automotive, they have worked on my Jeep and my daughter's cars. The price was given after their careful inspection. The work was done right the first time and in a very timely manor. I trust their expertise, and the price was very fair. My #1 go to .Jon and the guys who work there know what they're doing.

Definitely knowledgeable staff, good guy that runs the place, fairly decent deals just not that much stuff in stock it's a kind of a small stockroom/storefront but they do good work and sell decent products

Jon has been taking care of my family's cars (including mine) for almost a decade. He is very thorough and knowledgeable, and can explain even the most complicated automotive phrases and terms easily. He truly cares about his customers and work. Very fair prices -- he will explain what goes into each cost. I trust him every time!

Amazing, NOT out for the buck.. Genuinely helpful. I can't tell you enough how grateful I am to have ended up there rather than anywhere else!Coming from a big city, its nice to knows there are still genuine people in this world, not just greedy folks!I had a five hour drive ahead of me to get home, and an empty wallet. Rather than taking my last penny, I was assured I was safe to drive, and temporarily fixed my issue with no charge!A HUGE thank you to Jon!!!!

Me and my family of 7 was in Florida for vacation from Wisconsin and on our way home we had car problems. Everybody was booked or didnt have a mechanic on site. We stopped at his shop but he was also booked but I guess he understood my situation and instantly began to repair the truck to get us back on the road. Ran into so many issue but didn't tell us no and eventually got us on the road and didn't charge us an arm and leg. Just thankful for these guys. They really save they day....

At the last minute, I needed a new alternator on my Dodge Ram. I stopped into the shop around 4:30 not knowing that they close at 5. They knew I was a traveler and took the time and effort to track down an alternator and fix my truck. I was out of the shop by 5:50 p.m., 50 minutes after they closed. Thanks to owner John and mechanic Peter for their help! They're the best!

Great place to go for car repair! Friendly guy scanned my car for the check engine light and helped me diagnose the problem free!! They've worked on several of my other car and trucks and they are just good honest people to take your vehicle to! Thanks again

Pressed out and pushed in wheel bearing for toyota tacoma, dropped of the parts after lunch and picked it up that same day for a decent price. Other shops gave me the, " we don't work on no Toyota". Great work!

Took my ram 1500 in here after being denied from a dealership because "it's a old vehicle" but these guys are the best ! Totally reccomend for prices and quality of work!

If you need something done they get it done for you. It depends on what you need done though. We had bearings that needed to be pressed in the wheels of a Nissan and they did them in the same day.
