So just a few days before we were supposed to head for home from Florida the transmission started acting up, second and 3rd gear were slipping. Took it in to AAMCO because they had great reviews and David the manager and all the staff took care of us from start to finish. We made it home with no issues Thank you David for making that happen. What a great team

my experience here I think these guys are true professionals I feel like they really wanted to get the call righti took my beammer in thinking something isn't right with my transmission they told me it's not the transmission it's the engine you have serious issues here only way to fix it is rebuild the engine and the car isn't worth it

My family and I were in town on vacation, the day before we were set to leave to drive the 1,200 miles back home, our transmission cooling lines broke. I called numerous dealerships and shops in the area, and not one of them would even look at my vehicle until the following week.I then called AAMCO of Kissimmee, the office staff was great, not only did they say bring it in now to be looked at, but David the store manager himself even went out to get the needed parts for his crew to get me fixed up and back on the road! My family and I are truly thankful for your generosity and kindness in getting us safely home.

any other shop cost is 2500 to 3200. i called aamco he was like 4800$ is he nuts? these reviews are paid people or friends.

I had a bad experience with this AMMCO at Kissimmee , it took them two weeks to fix a leak on my car transition because they wasn t figuring out what was causing it . They left food container inside my car, dirty hands stains left all over. Never againService: TransmissionService: Transmission

My transmission had to be replaced and I was stuck in Kissimmee. I needed to get home 3 hrs away for surgery and only had a few days. I spoke with the management and explained my dilemma who assured me with the tight timeline and weekend, and my not wanting the added expense of renting a car, they would do their best to get me back in my car and on the way home in time.I made it plus my car is driving like it is a new car. The staff is totally caring and welcoming. They are the best and treat you like you re important. I got followup calls to reassure me the entire time what was going on in the process of getting my transmission, etc. and they were doing their best to get me home on time. They did and my surgery was a success.Service: Transmission

Amazing place. Very friendly Service I had to have my whole motor replaced. The whole thing was done within a week, with the warranty And repair I spoke mostly with a guy name, Andy very nice had no problem explaining me with everything that was going on. They worked with my #Warranty people where I didn t have to take care of anything. I highly recommend the

Have you ever experience exceptional service, well, if you visit this location that is exactly what you will receive. David, the General Manager went above and beyond to help us with our transmission issue. We live over 900 miles away but felt right at home with the customer service provided to us. David helped with finding a location we could park our trailer, kept us inform on the steps taken to resolve our issue, and it all took a little over four weeks to complete. We have a 2021 Ram Dually and parts are impossible now-a-days to receive with backlogs, back-orders, and all. With that being said, I considered this to be a short turn-around time-frame. David, my husband and I are extremely grateful for all that you did and words cannot express our gratitude. Thank you and your team for helping us in our time of need. I completely recommend this place if you are ever in the area for your vehicle service.Service: Transmission

This was hands down the best service I ve ever encountered at a car shop. Trust me, I ve taken my car in constantly for 6 months and the places couldn t tell me what s wrong. Took it here and the first time they saw it, they diagnosed it & fixed it to the best they could. (They didn t have a new part. They could get one by the next day, but I would ve already been long gone out of Florida. They did have a used part which is what I ended up going with) David provided THE BEST customer service anyone could ask for. Evelyn was nice as well, although I didn t talk to her as much. Luis did my car repair and was really nice as well from the little I spoke with him. If you re in the area, definitely take your car here. Even if you have to drive a little ways, it s definitely worth the drive. We do have an AAMCO here in our area. I hope they re just as great as David and his team.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I can not begin to explain how awesome this place was to us. They listened. Took the time to find the problem on our Jeep, kept us updated every step of the way! Fixed it all up and we couldn t be happier. Belkins was humble and kind, the manager David was so down to earth and knew his stuff!! And HARVEY took the time to really deep dive into our wire issues and we couldn t be more greatful!Services: Transmission, Tires, Electrical, Brakes

Excellent service, rapid turnaround, no issues with work quality. Why only 4 stars instead of 5? Kind of a long story, but I felt like I may have been overcharged. I came with a cracked flex plate on a Dodge Caravan which I had already correctly diagnosed with an assist from other shops (special thanks to Don's Auto Shop). Owner agreed with diagnosis and said he could have it back to me the next day. Said it could be around $850 as although part is not expensive requires removing transmission - 8 hours labor by book.Throughout the process and especially when I came to pick up the van David, along with his front man, made a point of telling me how they were doing me a big favor putting me in front of other people (much appreciated) and continually saying that I was lucky not to have gone farther and that I must have had somebody watching over me. The fact is nobody was watching over me and I got there of my own accord making my own decisions under my own power. But they seemed very keen on assuring me that I could have destroyed my engine and transmission and been out 6 or 7 thousand dollars and so I was very lucky. OK, fine.When I got the bill it showed 8 hours labor along with a $90 part but the charge (with tax) was $1244. There were no other charges, so the labor charge before tax was over $1050. (I don't have the bill in front of me but it was somewhere between 1050 and 1100.) Perhaps this represents the normal labor rate but if so I don't understand why I was originally quoted $850. So I got the distinct impression that I may have been charged more than normal because of this idea that I was "lucky" not to have been out so much more.So, bottom line, I did definitely feel like they were doing me a big favor in getting this work done, but the higher-than-expected charge kind of offset the favor in my mind. I'm a 70-year-old guy living off social security so a few hundred dollars extra hurts, and whether or not I might have blown up my engine if I hadn't stopped is really not part of the equation. Will check back in a few days to see if I was charged the normal amount and if so why I was given the low quote.Again, overall getting the fix was more important than the unexpectedly high charge, so thanks.Service: Transmission

Very friendly, professional and affordable. New transmission for my 94 Jeep Wrangler. Runs tight and like a new Jeep. Highly recommend them for quality transmission work.

Thanks for following up. I went to get a transmission replaced on a 2014 Nissan Sentra. So far, the new transmission is holding well. The reason for the 2 star rating has to do with the length between when the cast was first provided (December 14) and when it was finally returned (overa month later) well past the quoted repair estimate date.Additionally, I kept on having to call back and double check the repair was indeed happening because I was told twice it was in progress only to find out it hadn't started, despite receiving a date when the repair would have been completed.This made for a poor customer experience although I will state here the end result (new transmission) is fine. If the customer experience and time accuracy was better, I'd have no complaints at all!

Don t bother making an appointment. They won t stick to it. And if you plan on leaving the vehicle, expect them to maybe look at it a few days later. Deadlines don t exist to them. Parking is terrible (and no signs saying it s down behind the building). Just bad overall. Would recommend never going here.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Rick the store manager made my experience one to remember. He took my vehicle the day before the warranty ran out and made sure that everything was fixed even did a full diagnostic and found stuff that I wasn't aware of and made the warranty company take care of the bill. They barely had my car for two days. I am very grateful for Rick. The reception is a sweetheart, I can't really remember her name but she was very nice and kind. This will definitely be my new mechanic.

David and company are top notch. My van broke down while on vacation and my transmission was shot. Stress and worried, I was panicking, David called various places and reassured me that they would make it so I could drive back home. Knowing I was on a time limit and that I might not be able to wait. He directed me to other venues in case the job couldn't be done at AAMCO. I would recommend their experience and customer care to anyone. 5 stars

What a wonderful experience I have had each and every visit to the AAMCO shop, at 101 E Vine St, in Kissimmee Fl. Normally I will not take my car into any other repair shop, other than a Chevy repair shop, but because of unemployment and being strapped for money, I had to find a shop that would be less expensive than a Chevy repair shop, and AAMCO was my 1st choice, with no regrets. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was, and have always been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Trust me...I have dealt with many, many repair shops in my time, and AAMCO at 101 E Vine St rates a five star with me. JR is the Manager at the shop, and let me tell you, he is extremely polite and helpful. JR took the time to give me the best price he could possible give me, and when I had an outside source helping me with the repair cost, JR was more than willing and helpful to deal with me and the third party. Without getting into details, I will simply say, I am an Army Veteran, of, 29 years,with disabilities, and my unemployment was partial due to one of my disabilities. The third party whom helped me was their, because of my disabilities, and JR was so receptive to situations that came about while I was setting up payment to his shop. Simply put; JR and his entire shop went above and beyond from the first time I walked through their door, and they continue to do so. As I write this review, my car is at JR's shop now, so as to have a follow up inspection done on my transmission they rebuilt, and do any adjustments that may be needed. I'm also having JR give me a quote on AC repair. As you see, I totally trust JR and his shop, and will continue to do business with him. Check them out, and be sure to ask for JR. You will be pleasantly surprised with the experience you will receive.

So I had appointment with this company, the manager David took about 10 min to get to me, and he saw me standing there and he was not busy, so then another guy walk over to help with a bad attitude ask if I need assistance and I told him yeah , so finally David walk out and I told him what I needed, David the manager told me that it will be 2 hours to just look at my car and I was not happy he didn t tell me about that he was short staff today! Really bad service there in Kissimmee!

The people here are spectacular! The place is clean and productive. Free coffee? Oh yeah! Every time I've come in Rick was always nice to me. He never assumed that I knew nothing about care and the maintenance or repair process - and if I needed clarity he was eager to and capable of simplifying things for me too. I couldn't think of a better place to go. My car is working well again and it didn't cost me all my limbs or any extra frustration so I'm truly a happy camper. Go check them out first and see how much they wow you.

I have been here 3 times and they always take AMAZING care of me and my vehicle. They saved me from buying a new car, thankfully. The quality of service and care is phenomenal. Rick is their newer manager and listened to me and what the problem was and never interrupted like the previous manager did. Don is awesome too. They treat me like family and I love chatting with the receptionist, Yadra (sp?). Thank you guys for getting me back on the road and keeping my car safe for myself.

They took really go care of me when they realize it was going to take longer than planed they rented my family a car they didnt have to do that but they wanted me to be happy i was so happy with their services that I'll tell everyone. With my car it took a little longer for parts cause i own a standard transmission and its hard to find parts now a days for that kinda of car. But David and Melissa and Brook took good care of me and i just wanted to give them my shout out to them

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! They told me my car would be ready in 3 days and when I called on the third day for a follow up , David the manager advised they haven t even started working on my car. On the 4th day my car was finally ready after me constantly calling for an update as I had a rental . When I dropped my car off it was alittle under half a tank and the gave me my car on E! Gas light on and everything! David the manager excuse was they had to test drive it. Seriously!! I feel as if my car was used by an employee for personal use! I checked my car out to ensure all was ok to only discover scratches on my trunk door and back passenger door as if they had used my car to load something. No explanation could be provided. More reason to believe my car was driven for personal use .Again do not go here! The receptionist always has attitude! David has no control over the shop!

Thank goodness for these people. Bad transmission but good people. Keep their promises on dates, times and money. 5 star service!!!I did not write the above review! I would never recommend this shop. They used our car to pick up parts over an hour away. The employee stopped for lunch, in Casselberry! She left the receipt and trash in the car! Never again.

This Aamco is AMAZING! Not only is the desk lady Melissa wonderful and friendly, the manager David is the real deal. I took my older Honda in and they were VERY straight forward and honest about the situation. It's rare to find a car place that really is out for the best interest of the customer not just about making money. I HIGHLY recommend this place for an honest and fair opinion.

We had a brake issue just before the Christmas Break and we had a 800 mile trip we needed to start. Rick, the manager was scrambling to get the work he had in the shop out the door before the days off for the holidays. He managed to get us in and back on the road. I was most impressed with the shop. Everyone was efficient and friendly right down the woman working in the office. Customer service sure seemed to be a priority with them!

Had my girlfriend drop off my car to get my rack and pinion fixed, my brakes and a number a other things that were messed up with my car. They provided amazing costumer service, were very nice and focused on getting my car fixed fast. They didn't haggle her over other things that don't need to get fixed like most car shops do. Also she was very surprised on how respectful and professional they were. Definitely recommend!
