Lonnie Henley has done 2 rather large jobs on my 19 Toyota Tacoma.Both jobs turned out fantastic and brought the vehicle back to new condition both times. The shop is easy to work with and the price for the quality of work done was more than fair.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Honestly I had a great experience here, they took great care of me. But unfortunately I have to give a 1 star due to the quality of the paint job. You can replace parts and fix dents perfectly, but if the paint peels and chips 2 years later...I also had my front bumper repainted, I have to say the front bumper paint job looks good. However there is a run in the paint and there is some minor over spray. I need to add a photo of this as well. And I must say the over spray isn't very noticeable, but if you think you might over spray, remove the part, paint it, and reinstall. To me this says the painter was lazy.My main problem is this door. This was a brand new door that they installed and painted. When I first received the truck back, I did notice that the paint wasn't a perfect gloss mirror finish. But it was only noticeable in the right light so I didn't make a fuss. However now, 2 years later, it has gotten SO much worse to the point where it is pealing off at the top of the door and just looks terrible.I do believe Lonnie is a genuine business owner and trustworthy. I have seen his work on a friend's vehicle and was impressed. (This is why I chose his shop) I hope my paint job was a rare fluke.

Lonnie did such a wonderful job replacing my convertible top (not an easy job, believe me- I YouTubed it!) that I would trust him explicitly to do any other body work on my car. He is knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about automobiles. I highly recommend him!

The top of our 2013 convertible Camaro needed to be replaced and our back seats were always damp to "flooded" at every rainfall. We brought the car to Lonnie who discovered the reason leading to this besides the top issue. He did an outstanding job in replacing the top and fixing the leak that caused the rain pour to penetrate inside the car on to the back seats (not related to the top issue...). When we picked up back the car it was like new! I can only very strongly recommend Lonnie Hensley for any automotive job. He really is "top of the line". Thank you again Lonnie for a job very well done.

Beyond grateful for this place. Van broke down on the way into key west and they fit me in the day of and got the repairs done affordable. They have a great setup and very friendly front desk

Disappointed!! Scheduled a time to take my vehicle. Took time off work to go. They took photos and wrote down everything 1 week later that promised quote is nowhere to be found. Find good service is so hard in Key West

Lonnie has repaired our vehicles for the last 6 years. I again needed a recent repairs due to a fender bender. My car repair is perfect and to make it even better , Lonnie detailed my car inside and out. As always we received a follow up call to make sure we are satisfied. This type of outstanding service makes me feel confident to recommend to friends and family. Hopefully I won t need any body work anytime soon.

Had someone sideswipe my car while parked near work in Old Town. The whole side panel was done and scratches up the side. Took my jeep cherokee 2018 here and worked direct with Lonnie. What a gem. Very honest, took great care of me and my vehicle came out looking brand new! Not even a sign of the damage. Only took a couple of days after the parts came in. Worth it. I saw some of the other work his shop that he was spear heading and very impressive. I won't hesitate to return if another drunkie decides to use my car as a bumper mat in bowling. Lonnie Hensley and his staff have been really great during a saga with our convertible. Living in the tropics, we've had the seats mold, the convertible top get sun damage, the trunk flood, etc. etc. Lonnie and his team have always been friendly and communicative. He's gotten work done in significantly less time than estimated and always been fair in pricing. When we had to replace the convertible top and asked around town, everyone recommended Lonnie Hensley for knowledge and fairness in pricing. They did a great job, and the car looks nearly new. Plus they are really lovely people you can trust! 5 stars!

Lonnie is WONDERFUL!!! Experienced, fair, good natured, and funny! Great mechanic & shop.My friend and I were on a road trip in the Keys when my brakes started grinding. We were camping on a different Key, and worried about how to get around without the car, but he was very understanding of our situation, INCREDIBLY helpful, and was able to replace my brake pads and even my rotors in just a few hours. We just rented bikes and explored Key West in the meantime (and also, the local bike shop owner said that they use Lonnie too, and he's fantastic)!I drove out the same day, and then later, all the way back home to Orlando without any issues. Lonnie is so sweet, he called me a few days later to make sure we made it back home safely and to let me know that if I experience any issues with the brakes, even all the way in Orlando, to give him a call.Thank you so much, Lonnie!

I have used Lonnie Hensley Automotive several times and have been very pleased each time. Lonnie provides great customer service and is a very nice and honest person. I would highly recommend Lonnie to friends and family and will take my car to him again when the need arises.Following hurricane Irma my car got damaged and needed have about 20 dents removed and the car repainted. Lonnie and his team did a great job and the car looks as good as when it was new!

My 528i BMW starter went out while I was visiting Key West and I had no choice but to have it towed, after hours, to a shop I didn t know. I had it dropped off outside Lonnie s gate at 6:45am on a Thursday. He happened to pull up to unlock his shop as I was waiting for a ride, I explained the car just wouldn t start and I was pretty much stuck and expected back to work 6 hrs away on Monday. I picked it up Friday at noon and drove home no problems. The other shop that I called and left a voicemail told me they couldn t even look at my BMW for two weeks, and Lonnie basically fixed it for me in one day. Lonnie is an old school mechanic. He has the knowledge and experience to get the car working through his ingenuity. I was in Key West for a Celebration of Life Ceremony. The gear shift cable was not working and I had the car towed to Lonnie's. The part that was needed was not in stock anywhere in the Keys. Lonnie created a bushing for the gear shift cable and we were able to drive back to Miami. If it wasn't a three hour drive, i would have Lonnie care for my cars. Lonnie and his team are exceptional. I've had to have my bumpr reattached twice! He's done it extremely well and savd me money because I didn't have to replace the bumper! That is so appreciated. My car was also cleaned inside and out and looked spectacular! Thanks for helping me with my Mercedes 400C and thanks for the call to check to make sure I was pleased. I do not normally write reviews, but the quality of service was so good, I had too. I had an unfortunate incident with my vehicle and Lonnie was able to repair my vehicle back to its original state. Michelle also provided me with regular and timely updates between them and the insurance company to ensure I was kept in the loop. They are exceptionally polite and very professional. We have used Lonnie for the past 5 years for our Mini and recently for a fender bender on our Lexus! Lonnie s pride in his work always shows. Amazing service, attention to detail and an all around always pleasant experience! Never thought I would say this about an auto repair and body shop, but him and his crew are great!

I had an issue with the suspension on my Volvo C70. Being a snow bird in Key West, I had no idea of who to take my car to. After several calls to friends in the area Lonnie had the highest recommendation and for good reason. I called around to several repair shops and was told that they were booked for at least a week. I called Lonnie, described the problem and he knew what it was and told me to bring the car in the next day. He explained the issue, and told me how much it would be to fix it and that he could have it completed in a day. He was spot on. If you are in Key West and have any car problems, do not hesitate to call Lonnie. HE IS THE BEST

Great auto body shop for lower keys. Lonnie is a stand up guy. Has painted / repaired several high end expensive cars for me and always with exceptional results. Recently painted a 69 corvette all original show car for me. He had the car for a few weeks did a beautiful job on the paint repair he did.! Highly recommended!!!

Lonnie and his team are both amazing people and very professional. I always felt they had my best interest in mind no matter who I was speaking with. My 2013 Impreza was hit while parked in a lot. It had damage to the hood, bumper and a headlight/fog light; basically the entire driver side front end. Lonnie got my parts in within an impressive time (seeing as this is Key West) and was able to begin working on my car within days of obtaining a quote from him (which was very resonably priced). He contacted me to let me know that he found some small pre-existing damage which I declined to fix at this time but he did it any way free of charge! The car looks amazing and brand new again! I cannot say enough good things about Lonnie and his team. Thank you for making what could have been a very tedious experience so easy!!! I will recommend all family and friends to use Lonnie Hensley Automotive!!!!!

When was the last time the person who fixed your car called you back the next week to see if everything was OK? Right, me neither, but Lonnie called me the week after I picked up my Audi A5 convertible.He fixed the front skirt beneath the bumper that got torn up on a Bullard, and did some ding and dent repair that made my 2015 car look new again. He told me to wait, and save some money on the new convertible top as well!You don't get this kind of service from a typical auto and collision repair shop. In fact, I'd day Lonnie is unique in providing this kind of thought and service. The cost was very reasonable. Thus is especially true if you have an imported vehicle, since it's a long drive to the mainland. Highly recommended does not say enough!

Lonnie has been great with my car. A near total, and he got it done in reasonable time. He doesn't make promises he can't keep and he keeps the promises he makes. He keeps a clear line of communication. No need to call him for status on your vehicle. He will keep you posted and considers customer service a main priority. There is no way I can find to add a separate review; I must amend this one. I went in yesterday, almost at closing to see if they would be able to install an HVAC blower motor today. Even though it is not body work, they got the part and had it installed, by 4:00 today! Amazing! Twice, has my car been there, and both times, fast, and done right! Thanks, again, to Lonnie and his team!

Lonnie Hensley's Service can be summed up in one word: Excellence! If you are looking for guaranteed quality service, look no further. Lonnie and his team were highly professional, very informative, and supportive. Repairs were completed in a reasonable amount of time and came with Lonnie's assurance that if I was not happy with the service, I could bring my vehicle back. However, a few weeks later, I find myself forgetting that there was damage to my car, due to Hensley's expert repairs. The shop is also an amazing art gallery, featuring photographs and paintings of renown actors and singers.

I can t say enough good things about the service I was provided by Lonnie Hensley Automotive. My new car was hit on the passenger side pretty badly, left with a nasty dent that left the passenger side door shut in and the backdoor wouldn t close right exposing the interior of the vehicle to the elements. After much research and careful consideration I took my car in to their shop to have it quoted and worked on. I just got my car back and it looks amazing, as if nothing ever happened. Lonnie was very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process; I m extremely thankful for his professional service. If you re in need of bodywork look no further, take your car in and see for yourself the amazing work they ll do. I m one happy customer and will be referring everyone in need of car repairs to their business.

Lonnie's shop did a fantastic job on my BMW 135i. The price was considerably(!) less than two other body shops in Key West, I only had to wait a day or two to take the car in, and it was finished within two days. Most importantly, it was an amazing job that made the rear bumper look like new, even though it had been dented by someone parking by "feel".It is also clear that Lonnie really loves what he does and takes great personal pride in doing a good job. I like dealing with people like him.Thank you, Lonnie! There isn't any reason to take your car to any other body shop in Key West.

Lonnie is very professional and understanding. Someone hit our car with a golf cart and left. We took it to Lonnie and he went thru the car to make sure everything was going to be back to new again without missing anything. Took a few days and the car looks amazing. Had s little wind sound that was not there before and took it back. He fixed it and it's gone. Inside his office is amazing. Lots of beautiful art, and clean. Really clean. I hope I never need him again, but if I do, I will only let him and his crew do the work.

Highly recommend! Lonnie is as honest as they come and he is fast. No games no gimmicks, he just works hard to get your car back on the road. Prices are very fair and much lower than a dealer. I WILL definitely be back if I have anymore issues with any of my vehicles. Thanks!

After sustaining damage to my parked car, I notified my insurance company and they arranged towing to Lonnie Hensley s shop. The entire process was then coordinated by Lonnie with the insurance company and the repairs were initiated immediately. All the work was completed in just over a week, as promised, and looks brand new. Incredible service..prompt, honest and of the highest quality. Can t do better anywhere.
