What a beautiful experience here in the keywest. Donnie as the Assistant and Jay the Manager are awesome with quality customer service.Above and beyond care!I am satisfied to make this location my to go to store for auto care. Service was excellent!

I had an awful experience with amateurs at Advance Auto Parts in Key West. I went in to get a new battery. The young man who was initially helping me barely spoke and did not appear to be knowledgeable on the subject of batteries. The manager came over to assist and told me my "car takes the platinum battery." I had previously used the gold battery (purchased from an Advance Auto parts store in Texas and it did just fine). I asked if there were any other options because the platinum battery was quite a bit more expensive than my previous battery. The manager told me the platinum battery really was the best one for my vehicle and the gold would only be 20 dollars less. I agreed to purchase the platinum battery. After I paid I walked outside with the young salesman who was initially helping me. He attempted to remove my gold battery but was unsuccessful. This attempt last for more than 30 minutes before the manager finally came out to let me know they were getting a different set of tools. After the manager tried to remove the battery he told me I would need to take the vehicle to a mechanic and have the terminals replace and my battery changed. He recommended PitStop.I called PitStop and made an appointment. Unfortunately this all fell on a holiday weekend so I had a dead vehicle in my driveway for three days before someone was able to come check it out. The PitStop mechanic removed my old battery in less than 2 minutes. He examined the terminals and told me they do not need to be replaced, rather they just needed to be cleaned. He installed the new battery for me and told me I should not have purchased the platinum battery because it will most likely not last any longer than the gold battery would have. Additionally, he told me there was probably more than a 20 dollar difference in the batteries. I had to pay 100 dollars for PitStop to come to my house (for a total of less than 10 minutes) to simply change my battery because the staff at Advance Auto Parts couldn't figure out how to do it.I am disappointed the manager influenced me to purchase a more expensive battery that I did not necessarily need and caused me to spend an extra 100 dollars for someone else to complete the service the store should have provided me.

I went in this store to buy some oil and nobody would help me. I left to get my friend to come help and when I got back they told me that they wanted to close early today. They just do whatever they want and have no respect for customers. Every time I go here it s the same disrespect. It s disgusting.

Went to pick up 1 qt of oil and waited in the store for 15 minutes with no one at the counter and 2 other customers waiting. 3 people at the wholesale desk never got up. Left the store

Luis at the desk was unhelpful and argumentative he refused to replace my battery which was under warranty and I had receipt in my hand. I had to call the manager and he solved the problem. Luis didn't offer to replace the battery I had to request him to do so. Service is consistently questionable.

My brother's car kept turning off even after we jumped started it. Angelo checked the car out and put the reader to it, told us what it said and thankfully he let us keep the car there since it couldn't be moved. He also gave us a reference to a mechanic that could help us out. Then, we came back to purchase a battery and Travis was soo sweet and helped us install the battery. We didn't know what we were doing and he went above and beyond to help us get the car started. Excellent service!! The guys made us feel understood and helped as much as they could. Thank you Angelo and Travis!!

Bought 2 batteries, the staff is polite and nice but is not well versed on using the info !!! i ended up getting towed home they didnt have the second battery because they said a dealer had to calibrate and install - WRONG! same scenario repeatedly at this store, staff isnt knowledgeable...... go to NAPPA , long timers and knowledgeable !!! maybe offer to pay the towing cost?

Place was empty of customers.4 workers inside, 1 outside.1 cashier..taking over 15 min to execute a return. 2 workers from the back came up to help with the return. They never looked up to acknowledge or offer help to me. All the while I'm standing there to check out with 1 item.Wifey in the car with the dog had to text to check on me.

4 employees 1 other customer was standing for over 5 minutes no one acknowledged my presence or spoke to me even though they saw me they keep chatting. I walked out. Pitiful.

Online hours say 8. Get there and there is a hand written sign that says 7. Hopefully this gets the Google listing updated to reflect correct hours.

If I could give them a negative rating I would. I stopped going there years ago because of the horrendous service and lack of knowledge, but UPS has chosen this place to leave packages for me now so I'm forced to walk through hell again. After 2 unsuccessful trips my third bore fruit as I saw the package I was picking up on the shelf. My hopes were dashed, however, when the clerk said he had to check it out to me before I could take it. 25 minutes later, after arbitrarily pushing keys on the keyboard he left the station saying he was going to find a manager, so I did what I had to do- took my package and walked out. NEVER GO HERE UNLESS IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH! Use Auto Zone for all your automotive needs on Kw, they are much better.

I am a local! Always gone to this store! There have been so many different managers, employees etc... I had an encounter on the 6th of July 2021, the day before bad storm!! An employee sent me away without helping me replace the totally dead battery on my vehicle which left me with NO vehicle!! The GM Jaycalled me immediately He was not aware of situation...He told me to come in today and his asst Matt would make sure that I was taken care of!! They were both so upset and Matt was so nice and helpful and saw to it that I had a battery, no problems,no red tape!! He fixed the problem without being rude!!! That's customer service! Thank you

Boyfriend needed a new starter they didn t carry, so he ordered the part and was told it would be ready the next day by 3 pm. The car barely made it there because of the starter, and when he arrived they said the part actually wasn t there and would be there on Monday. So he was left stranded without the part they told him they would have. Bad customer service, and this all could have been avoided if they had just told him Monday in the first place.

Getting in and out of the parking lot is not very convenient. It's not easy to tell until you're driving in the exit. The store is ok. Nobody offered any help but I ended up figuring out what I needed was out of stock. The stock on the shelves in general was pretty slim for a lot of items maybe it's covid related. I'm giving it 4 stars because I'm giving them a little credit for covid.

I really want a half star here, I think these people are worth 4.5. They are always friendly and seemingly busy all the time too. They normally have what you need and will help you to quickly locate it. Very clean store as well.

Online there website indicates they close at 9pm and it s been updated recently.. so I drove up expecting them to be open before 9pm but a few minutes past 8pm and they were closed with there hours of operation closing at 8pm. They should show some respect for there customers and update there website with the correct hours of operation and not waste people s time.

I tried ordering a part online said call the store to see in stock. They said I must come down and put a deposit on it and can t be paid over the phone and I have an account. Went to store and now telling I must purchase the part. On top of that I m purchasing an ignition cylinder so I couldn t drive and got stuck in the rain. Thanks for making this a true Monday
