We had a very positive experience with Westside and dealing with Randy. He really impressed me with his knowledge of my problems. He fixed a one month problem in hours. I would highly recommend. The price was very reasonable and up front. There were no surprises and everyone was so friendly5 Stars and 2 Thank you again Westside Auto Electric. You guys really are the best .!

I highly recommend this business. I have a 1994 impala SS and I was having issues with my alternator. Towed my impala to raj and he replaced it with a new alternator not a rebuild one checked all my wiring made sure all was good with my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the day. But what stuck out to me beside the quality work was he called a few days later to make sure all was still good. I could honestly say this is the first time a mechanic shop has reached out to me after fixing my vehicle to check in. Definitely will be back for future repairs and upgrades!Service: Electrical repair

Westside Auto Electric was amazing. I had an issue with my car where I got bad gas and it damaged my motor. Throughout the process of repair, Raj was extremely helpful and honest. Raj always called me to inform me what was going on and what parts were needed for replacement. He never gave up on my vehicle or me. He promised my car would run like new and it sure did. I appreciate all the hard work Raj and his son out in to put my car back on the road. I would recommend as he will provide reliable and honest service. I took my van in because my " abs" and " esc off" lights were staying on. The van was running fine. It didn't appear to have an issue with the brakes or stability. I was planning a trip to Wisconsin so figured I better have it checked. Raj called that evening to tell me I need 4 new tire sensors, a brake light switch, and a new battery to the tune of 878.00 + tax. The next day he calls to say that the lights are still on and now I need an ABS module but that it's obsolete but the van will run fine just put tape over the lights if they bother me. So now I'm out $939.46 and still have the same issue that I took the van in for? Definitely not a satisfied customer.

They told me to bring my car over it was at the dealer. Drove IT there 30mph on US 19 because it was not running right than the lady there told me they were all booked up for a week.REALLY ...

I took my 2000 Chevy 2500 for electrical work as a result of a referral from my mechanic. The place was out of the way, but it was well worth the drive. I was having all kinds of electrical issues, from the turn signal lights not working to no dash or tail lights at night. I was able to figure out the turn signals but the tail lights had me confused. The fuse didn't blow, the truck had good grounds and all wiring seemed good. I took the truck to my mechanic who looked at it for 2 weeks with no result. The mechanic finally said to take it to Westside Auto Electric. It didn't take long to make an appointment. I explained the issue to Raj and he was confident that it wasn't going to be an issue. Within a few hours, he called me to let me know that the issue was on the under side of the fuse panel. That would be something that I would've never looked at and wouldn't want to get involved with (if you've ever looked at an under belly of a fuse panel, you'll know why not a lot of people would look at that area). Raj got to it and within half a day, it was all done. The great thing to was that he explained where it was and took a picture to show me the wire that was bad. It was worth the money I spent to get this done by the right people. I will refer anyone with hard electrical issues to go to this place. It's better to take electrical stuff to a specialist than give it to guys that like to do engine work. You'll save time and money. Thanks Raj!!Service: Electrical

I highly recommend Westside Auto Electric. Our church bus was going dead all the time. It had to be jumped off every time we used it. We changed out the battery still same problem we had to jump start it. After taking the bus to two different repair shops for electrical diagnostic testing and repair. The same problem still occurred. We finally had someone highly recommend us to Westside Auto Electric. After talking to Raj there who is the owner, he assured me he could fix it. He finally fixed our problem and we no longer have anymore electrical problems with our bus. I highly recommend Westside Auto Electric to everyone. They throughly went through everything and fixed our electrical problems. They are top notch and I would not go anywhereelse but here now and in the future. If you need your electrical problem fix this is the place to bring your auto too. Can't thank Raj enough they are very professional.DavidService: Electrical repair

Westside was highly recommended by a friend. I had a belt come off and pulled all my wires and caused major damage. Roger worked hard to find used parts to keep my cost down. He is caring and treats his clients with respect. They take the time to talk to you and come up with solutions. Unfortunately the belt broke again no fault as Chevy had a recall and I was unaware. Roger did some research and found out and purchased the corrected belt that Chevy dealer said I needed to use. Let's hope all is good now. Roger also calls to check on you to see how it's going. Had issues with our A/C while on vacation in Florida and they were very kind and charged it for us so we could get back on the road towards home!! They put other things aside cause they new we had kids that were very antsy and helped us with our problems. They also tested a few other things to make sure our road trip back went smooth!Service: A/C installation & repair

As a fellow mechanic I can truly appreciate how knowledgeable and equipped Raj is. When it comes to electrical diagnostics I learned when to throw in the towel. He has repaired 2 vehicles for me. Money well spent in my opinion. Every good auto repair shop owner I know sends their electrical nightmares here.

I would be cautious bringing a Cadillac or gm product to this business. My driver door has been shorting out for months and the door handle quit working so I brought it here. I was told it needed a door actuator, so okay, I paid $800 for the service and when I got it back nothing was fixed, it was actually worse. The thing I did appreciate is them willing to work with me, over the course of a month my car was taken back here 3 times free of charge for them to try and fix it. After the last time I was told that it s actually something else and that part would be $250 not including labor. I already paid $800 which was SUPPOSED TO FIX THE ISSUE. But after 3 trial and errors it is actually something else. I had my car for half the month and firmly believe it shouldn t have been my responsibility to pay any more as I already paid for it to be FIXED. So I walked away, after all 4 visits I can safely tell you that not one thing was fixed, the door still shorts and on top of that when I last got the car back from him the driver door speaker wasn t working for the first time since owning the vehicle. Raj said nothing they did could have effected it but they were working on the door, that door has the speaker in it. And it worked every other day up until the last day he had it. I really don t like hating on people and this is my first ever review anywhere but this business does not perform to the qualifications that they apparently have. Raj is a nice guy but I do question the knowledge in this building. I m out $800 with nothing fixed thanks to this place. :)Service: Electrical repair

Since my last post was a year ago I decided to do an update. STILL the best mechanics I've ever found! My car needed so much help. I knew it needed repairs, but until it was on a lift and they showed me exactly the problems, I had no idea how dangerous it was to be driving in the condition it was in! They are very fair in pricing and will even save your old parts to show you what was replaced. Randy and Roger are amazing mechanics. Very knowledgeable and honest. I believe the woman at the front is named Mahone. If she is reading this please forgive me if I have not spelled your name correctly. My car runs so much better than it ever has! I could seriously write a novel on the performance improvement and handling my vehicle now has. Prior to them doing the repairs, I couldn't drive above 45 without feeling like I was blowing a tire. Trustworthy, honest and professional. Fair pricing and very respectful to customers. Thank you so much Westside Auto Electric you have a customer for life!

took my hyundai tucson in for a electrical problem --- other shops could not figure out ---the people at westside are the best ----they had the problems fixed in a few days ! Raj and his wife are wonderful people ----- I will now only go to them for auto repair !

My 09 Ram had a few electrical issues that the dealer and YouTube could not fix. I took it to Raj and he had it running as good as new. I brought it back for a brake job and oil change and he had it done for me in a day. Very positive experience with them. It is a family owned business.They were very honest, extremely fair pricing and patient. My grandson bought a care from a private person and it needed a LOT of work. Roger showed us in detail what was needed to be done. First i want to say that the service and the knowledge and the quality of work and customer service are far and away above any other local auto repair place in pasco county fl, Raj and his team work with you and diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle, i been using west side since 2020 and espically this last time with my 07 cadillac DTS, most places would tell you to get a new car, or maybe even overcharge or come up with a bad solution, Raj was in constant communication working on options and coming up with a plan, he saved my car and not only saved the car but it rides like new again, alot of work and alot of time, i wouldnt think about taking my vehicle anywhere else, secondily i would like to say that he genuilly cares about his customers and people in general, always going above and beyond and putting his customers needs first, the pure genuine compassion and empthy he shows to his customers in very stressful situations that the customer is in you cannot find that anywhere else. Raj and Westside Auto Electric are Awesome! They are fair, honest AND certainly know their stuff!I had a computer issue with my car so I had it towed to the dealership. They told me that the main computer as well as the transmission computer were fried.After they had it for over a month they called me and to my surprise told me that they couldn't fix it. I had to get it towed out of there???Thankfully someone referred me to Westside Auto Electric! Raj had it fixed in less than a week and it runs like brand new! AND neither computer was fried??Thank you Raj!

They were very professional. Was having issues with my vehicle. They were able to diagnosed and fix the problem and have my vehicle back in a couple of days. I had a parasitic battery drain in my 2000 lexus rx 300. I took it in to have the problem diagnosed and repaired if affordable. Raj found the problem in no time. He explained in detail the issue and ways to fix it. We agreed on the repair and he had it fixed and ready to go by the next day. The repair was much lower than I could have ever hoped it to be a true blessing.. I have never had a more positive experience in a repair shop since I started driving many years ago. Chrysler strikes again!! From locked in limp mode to transmission codes to untraceable voltage spikes/shorts, this 07 Charger was a mystery that Fehrman couldn t tackle. Raj was excellent in walking us through every step of the diagnosis, instead of aimlessly replacing expensive parts, he was patient enough to find the root problem and get us back on the road. This guy is awesome. I replaced multiple parts in my xj trying to find my idle, tuning/electrical issues to no avail. He was able to diagnose and pin point the problems. Bad connector going into the iac, spotty connections and in need of a tune. Did a Super professional/quality job on my battery terminals, high attention to detail like that makes a huge difference. I would of never been able to find those problems. Xj runs like a champ now, I am super thankful. I will be going back soon to have some old parts replaced more work done -thank you folks.......update 12-15-20 brought my Jeep in to have an aftermarket radiator put in. He did a super professional job, all connections put together professionally, everything secured properly to look like factory. All 3 fans function perfect. As I went to leave I pointed out a bare wire that had been by the distributor that I had been meaning to fix. He stopped what he was doing Working on 2 other cars and fixed it for me So that when I left I would be safe and not have any problems. Not everyday does someone offer that type of customer service. Had a wiring problem with my truck and went everywhere trying to get it fixed Westside diagnosed and fixed the problem in a day!!! Was very surprised when I went to pay for work and couldn't believe how reasonably the price was for the work they did! The owners were very courteous and Raj did a great job. Highly recommend this place if you ever need work done on your vehicle!!! A+ work!

Friendly honest service. I dropped off an alternator for my "Air Boat", unfortunately the part needed was very specific to the engine manufacturer and not available to the aftermarket. They tried to source it from multiple options to no luck, and even gave me the option to find it. I ended up picking it up and had to buy a new one, but they went above and beyond to try to fix it for me.Thank you

The main thing is, I feel I can Trust the people that Run this Garage and that is very Important when it comes to Electrical Work that is done by the hour. Great customer service, quality service. Expert knowledge. Great prices, I will be a repeat customer. A family owned business that has been around this area for 30 years. I would recommend this garage to anyone looking for a good trustworthy Mechanic to do some Electrical work with. TRUST is very important when it comes to electrical work.
