I had problem with starter and it was resolved within 1 hour after they check.Next time I repaired the thermostat! Cost effective and reliable service. But you need to wait at least a day until they get back to you because they always have many clients. Once you reach there then the first thing they will tell is that they can only see the next day! The rates are fixed and you do not need to bargain! Recommended for reliable service in reasonable price!

Told me I needed an alternator. Was told Thursday morning at 10 am if I brought the car in by noon they could have it back to me by the end of the day. Dropped the car off at 11. Didn't get the car done and was told I'd be the first car they work on Friday morning. I call back Friday around noon and they tell me they got a line of cars to do before they work on mine. Didn't get it done Friday. They're closed on the weekends. Monday around noon I call the said that I just needed a battery and my car would be done by 2pm.

Came in for an oil change on the 16th in the morning and had a terrific experience. They run on a first come first serve basis for oil changes and other general maintenance, so get there early. There were 3 techs responsible for two bays for the general maintenance side of the shop. I felt that they were understaffed but despite that, I never felt ignored or forgotten as they went in between customers in the two bays. It was 3 younger guys, but they had incredible communication skills and worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently all while I sat in my vehicle. One of the mechanics, Trey (I think) was the first mechanic I have ever met that truly made me feel like they did not just want to take advantage of my ignorance on cars. It was the first time I have ever heard a mechanic recommend a fix but be honest enough to tell me that it would be cheaper for me to do it myself instead of over-charging me. I will be coming back for any general maintenance I need for that reason.Service: Oil change

Shoddy Work! This shop kept my car for 5 weeks and kept saying they couldn't figure out what was wrong but would have it done by next week and charged me $800 for a sloppy repair and didn't even resolve the issue. They lied about the work they said they'd done and even damaged my vehicle in the process and claimed they didn't know how it happened. They are a very unreliable business and I'll look elsewhere for future repairs.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Sent my truck here to be looked over. Explained to the guy what the issues were. The mechanic was lost and couldn t figure out what the issue was. Said my catalytic converters was clogged and sent me to a muffler shop. Muffler shop said he didn t know what he was talking about and it was fine. Truck still isn t fixed. Guy has no experience don t take your vehicles here save the time money and head ache after reading all the reviews I think the good ones are fake ! I have been to a couple mechanics/ auto repair places in Gainesville and Computa Tune is the best by far. They are super friendly, work quickly, and have great prices. They refused to take any money from me when I had them fix a small issue (loose plastic under tray) on my car and it meant the world to me that they were able to squeeze me in the morning I called.

These guys are awesome. I went to Firestone first and not only were they super condescending to me, but they said it would take almost a thousand dollars to get my car back on the road. Computatune was honest and got it ready to go for under two hundred and and were so nice and considerate. Brought in my Chevy Express to fix an ignition issue, destroyed by the previous owner. It took a while to get a part, but got it done. I'll be picking it up today. Good communication.

Inconspicuous placement for the shop and has tight parking. Meghan was super nice! They did my diagnosis for me and it would have been 45+tax, but since they didn t find any reason for the light on my dash they didn t charge me anything. Never left a mechanic shop for free with great customer service.

Genuinely sad I stopped by for a business trip. I wish this was my mechanic, closer to home. Phenomenal service. They got my brakes done in less than 24 hours and charged me $100 less than I was quoted. Top notch service. Thank you!

Definitely go elsewhere if you re looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Read these reviews and thought it would go decently, but I left here with MORE car issues than when I came in. Took the car to another mechanic in town for them to tell me that the work Computa Tune did was not done correctly, causing me more issues and money. These people do not deserve your money. Trustworthy, friendly and dependable workmanship. I have an older vehicle that continues to run like new thanks to these folks. I know that Kevin and his team will do the work that is needed at an affordable price. I never worry that I will be taken advantage of. Super shop and would recommend to everyone

Honest, reasonably priced repair shop. Kevin and everyone was friendly and professional. I took my car to be repaired with the part to be installed. Kevin mentioned the part wasn't needed and that was not the cause of issue. They explain what is needed, why, and the price.I recommend Computa Tune Complete Auto Repair.

This place is amazing! My red oil change indicator light came on and they literally stopped what they were doing to help me because they were so concerned. The staff is so kind and willing to help. Very friendly and timely service and fair pricing. I had AAA leave my car there, after the shop was closed and was able to call them the next day to get a quote on a replacement starter. The following day my car was ready to be picked up. Easily the least hassle I have ever had to go through when dealing with a repair shop. I highly recommend them.

Our air-conditioning broke when we were traveling. We found this company through the Ford dealership and called. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating and took us right in and fix the truck. We were very happy with our service and our price. I would highly recommend them to anybody! I love supporting small town business.

I've never found a mechanic that does not rip you off, until now. I took my car in and expected to get charged and arm and leg or be told that there was a lot more wrong, neither happened. I would highly recommend this place!!!

I have replaced wheel bearing for my Honda Civic 2011 by them. After 2h driving faced severe sound reason was not perfectly replaced. Brought my car again to them they Replaced it free of cost.After 3H driving faced same and severe problem. At that time I was moved out of state. Couldn t able to face them.I am very much disappointed by their services and dout their expertise.....

Made an appointment for a repair based on my OBD diagnostic hand held. ENGINE LIGHT ON! Ready to replace all O2 sensors and oil pressure sensor. Turned out I didn't need to replace my O2 sensors at all. Thanks to their expertise I save 250! Honesty is rare in the auto repair field and I found it here! Thanks guys. No engine light. No smoke in the exhaust. Runs even more quietly.

Kevin is a great and honest mechanic which is a very hard thing to find these days. I had some power steering leaks and he did wonderful work. After having a hose replaced a small leak from a different hose still persisted and I took it back and he fixed free of charge! He givens incredibly fair prices and does great work. He is straight forward and tells you whats wrong and doesn't try and tell you that there is a bunch of other stuff that needs to be done. I will definitely being taking my car here for any future repairs. I wish I could give him more stars!

I'd say this is the BEST repair shop in Gainesville that not only consists of nice professionals that are very knowledgeable, but also doesn't take advantage of people. When my car was experiencing Transmission issues,not only did they help me in a timely manner/fix the problem, but also explained to me in specific detail what was wrong with the transmission and the possible actions that I might have to take in the future. Overall, great service and great people.

I went to this shop today after reading all the awesome reviews and having a bad experience at another shop in town that charged me 3x more and didn't fix the issue. After doing research I felt like I knew what I was talking about. They swapped out my part and replaced the fuel injector for half of what the other shop was going to charge me for the same parts and work. A rare find. A truly honest mechanic. Here's a few comments I get from there whenever I bring my car there, sometimes for a second opinion. "You don't need an alignment, your tires are worn. You just need new tires." "It's not your power steering pump, you just have a loose belt. I just tightened it." Etc, etc.An honest mechanic who doesn't try to make a quick buck. Btw, I bought my car new in 2005. Fifteen years later, still running like new at 320,000+ miles.

I was stranded from out of town . I had the car towed to another shop and they could not fix the car. i then had the car towed to Computa Auto Repair and they fixed within a few hours and at very low price. I promise that the mechanics at this location provide the best service and most honest input about exactly what you need and how they can help.
