After seeing the reviews of this place, I decided to bring my car here for repair after a rear end accident. These guys did an amazing job restoring my car! Definitely highly recommend them, they go above and beyond with their service! Glad I decided to go with them. Thanks, Jason!

They matched the color of my Ford Edge perfectly. I couldn't tell where the lady had side swiped me at all and they did it all in one day. I was extremely impressed and so very grateful. I have already recommended them and will continue to. Thank you for your excellent work Buchholz P&B, you guys do it right!Just an FYI-The after photos were taken on an overcast day and the before photos were taken on a very sunny day.

My daughter is going to UofF and got in a fender bender so I was stuck finding a body shop I could trust in a city/state halfway across the country that could do quality work at an honest and fair price. I wasn't optimistic it would go well. I couldn't be more pleased with the job Randy and the team at Classic collision did. Constant updates, helped my daughter get back to campus after dropping off her car, fair pricing. Everyone I talked to was kind and accommodating. Great business!!

Classic Collision is a class act.Randall handled my claim & left no stone unturned. He s an unstoppable force. This was a tough job & Randall is exactly the advocate you want in your corner. He went to bat for me with the insurance company every step of the way; which was no easy task. I am amazed at the elite level of personal service & exceeding professionalism. I owe him a great debt of gratitude.My car was seemingly beyond repair, & my insurance company was constantly crossing wires, but the team at Classic Collision showed incredible tenacity every step of the way.The guys on the shop floor did a superb job, completely repairing every issue on a near-totaled vehicle. They got it looking brand new; even better than when I bought it! Practically miraculous, no exaggeration.The upper management, Scott & Rick, went above & beyond to make sure everything was right from beginning to end. They re good, honorable men; & this location is in good hands.Thanks for bearing with this whole process, guys. I know it wasn t easy, but you never gave up! I went back again! These folks do great work, and they're willing to work with you to make sure you get everything back like you want it. Sam was great to work with, and the owners are involved, friendly, and motivated to make sure you're happy with their work. I highly recommend you get your bodywork done here!Updated Review:I hit another animal a year after I hit a different animal. I trusted this shop last time (they did phenomenal work)- they handled everything from the rental car on up in the last case.This time, they were equally courteous and helpful, making sure that the adjuster from my insurance missed nothing - all the way down to the accessories on the car. They're very thorough, very patient, and turn out excellent work.They also are certified for most manufacturer repairs - so you won't get a car that's been hacked together at the end. In my experience, they deserve that certification.The only issue is that they are VERY popular, and so can take a couple extra days to start your repair. That said, Jason P. has been handling my case, and is very patient, and fantastic about keeping me up to date on the repair process. The owner is also involved, and interested in making sure your experience is always fantastic.

A deer hit and took out the front side of my truck, so I was on the search for a bodyshop, I found this huge very modern building bodyshop out by the Gainesville airport, Jason the estimator person greeted me with respected assured me that Buchholz paint and autobody will take care of everything, they reached out to my insurance in which accepted the quote, Set up the appointment along with the car rental, everything went smooth, I met Mr Buchholz, he is on duty. They gave a small tour of the shop, wow, they must have 40 vehicles bays going on at the same time, and it wasnt noisy. Everything is clean and organized, the lobby is clean, comfortable, high class and very respectful. As for the workmanship for my truck they went far and beyond my expectations. If you need a autobody shop, seriously, look no further, have Buchholz paint and autobody do the job, you won't regret it.Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Auto detailing

place is a joke & does not deserve any stars! When I left my vehicle I was told it would be complete within 2 weeks at Max! (It was not a major repair) Multiple times did they claim to find more damage & requested more money from my insurance. Until the point the insurance became suspicious. TWO MONTHS later I went to pick it up as it was said to Finally be completed. Only to find the back up camera did not work. It took them 5 hours to say it was a faulty camera. They would call when the camera came in. Supposedly it was on back order w/no known ship date, blah blah. But it conveniently arrived 2 days later. The manager Rick asked me to bring it back in,promising to have it repaired in 45 mins. Which did not happen! 4 hours later & after taking it to the dealership, did they figure out it was a wire they did not reconnect when attaching the new bumper. From day one this place had excuse after excuse behind their poor service. They even called me twice in the same day & gave 2 totally different excuses for the delay! The service advisor, Rebecca, asked me multiple times to please do not leave a review ! But people have a right to know what to expect!

I never write a review but this place and its employees deserve one, I have never had such an easy experience, excellent job with my car , it looked like new service was fast. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for a place to repair your car after an accident Classic Collision and s the place.

I had my car repaired at Buchholz. After getting the car back i noticed a minor issue. The owner whom was a pleasure to deal with, stood by the work done and made it 100% right. Id recommend them and id do business there again. Thank you.

They obviously don t need the business if their lead time to just to look at your car is a month. Buccholz sold out to your classic corporation. Now when you call you get put through to a call center instead of the receptionist who used to give you a warm greeting when you called or walked into the office. Not the same company.

Formerly known as Buchholz Paint and Autobody. Now under new ownership. I did not have the same positive experience as from my previous two repairs at Buchholz. Needed a simple headlight replacement and was told they would not order the part unless I left the vehicle with them, even though my insurance company had approved the repair. I would have left a deposit, but was not given that option, so I used a different shop. Also. according to their signage, be prepared to pay a surcharge if you use a credit card there. Caveat emptor.

This is the second time in the 5 years that we ve used this company. Let me start by saying the customer service is excellent. Unfortunately, this is greatly overshadowed by the negatives.The paint jobs were satisfactory as well, however the lack of attention to detail (or laziness) is baffling.On both occasions we had serious overspray. While driving the car home (into the sun), the clear coat overspray on 1/2 of the windshield (drivers side) made it dangerously difficult to see the road. Also, there were paint flakes on the windshield wipers. Finally, my front left mudflap was not screwed back in, not even hand tightened. If I wouldn t have noticed before pulling out their parking lot, there s a very good chance this would have punctured my tire in a turn.This infuriated my wife and I. The first time it happened we gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned our car to be corrected. This time I said F it, I ll DO IT MYSELF and spend the next couple hours fixing their lack of attention to detail and lack of shop accountability. I guess they can get away with being lazy when dealerships/insurance companies spoon feed you jobs, because your certified. Unfortunate.

Excellent Mercedes Repair ShopI selected Buchholz Paint & Auto Body to repair rear corner damage to my 2013 Mercedes ML350. I selected them based upon the fact that they are a certified Mercedes repair shop and by reviews from other customers. I made arrangements with Jason Praet who is the general manager. He was able to get the ML in and completed before the holidays which was very important to me.Buchholz completed the repair on schedule and I believe the quality of the finished work is absolutely excellent. I really can t tell where the ML was involved in a minor fender bender at all. The paint match is phenomenal. This seems like it would be no easy feat with the diamond white metallic color but I can see no difference in the repainted bumper and the original paint. It is an excellent repair job.Jason did a nice job of working with the insurance company and keeping me informed while the ML was in the shop. I would recommend this shop in a heartbeat.

My repair was initially quoted to take a couple days but it ended up being closer to a month. There was a total lack of communication. I went almost a week without an update in progress despite calling multiple times. In the end, they used a damaged part and unpainted new ones without telling me.

Everyone here was super friendly and helpful in the estimate process, dropping my car off, and picking it up. I appreciated that they checked in with me about my car progress and kept me updated. They did such a great job repainting the hood of my car. They even vacuumed the front seat! My car looks new again and I love it. Thanks so much and great work!Service: Painting

I have used Buchholz Paint and Autobody several times for jobs ranging from a custom paint job (see attached picture) to minor autobody repair. Buchholz does extremely high quality work for fair prices. Becky and Brad have gone the extra mile to ensure I have always been 100% satisfied with what ever work I've brought my car in for.

This business was truly a joy to work with. Jason worked with me and with the insurance company to facilitate a smooth repair and made sure I was happy with the result down to the last bolt! As a woman dealing with an autobody shop, not once did I feel that anyone was trying to take advantage of me in any way. They made sure I understood exactly what was going on and why. Recently had to take my Tesla Model 3 in due to a wreck. This place was beyond awesome. The work they did met my expectations and then went a step further. Any time I had a question they had the answer. A big shout out to the team for the great work.

Car went into the garage for body repairs after an accident. It tool over 1 month for it to be fully disassembled to figure out what parts where needed. It took the insurance 2 weeks to approve the repairs before the part were ordered.It took 3.5 months for the parts to arrive, this is not really Buchholz's fault.Once parts arrived, it tool another 2 months for the work to be completed. Altogether, I waited 7 months.I was informed I would need to pick up the difference if the insurance was not going to cover 100% of the job. I said yes and never heard about this topic again until the day the car was ready, at which point I was charged almost $700 extra!On the positive side, their service writer kept me updated about every 1-2 weeks on the progress via text messages.Overall, it took way too long (not counting the delay in parts) and there was poor communication regarding the supplemental payment which the insurance was not going to cover.Service: Body & Trim

Best Auto Body Shop Ever!I have had the occasion to work with Buchholz three times now (2014 Porsche Cayenne, 2013 Hyundai Elantra, 2016 Nissan Altima). They are a certified collision center and have received certifications of distinction for brands ranging from KIA/Hyundai to Porsche/Telsa. Everyone is customer service oriented from the receptionist to the owner. They absolutely do the best body work in the region.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Buchholz Paint and Autobody is a 10/10 company. I was rear-ended and reached out to Buchholz based on strong reviews and their status as a certified BMW repair facility, and they immediately accepted the work to repair my car and set a date for drop off. When I brought my car to the shop, I was greeted by Brad Buchholz himself, and he was both extremely attentive and knowledgeable of the damage presented at face value as well as what further damage may be uncovered during inspection. I d like to acknowledge Paul Dodge as well - Paul served as my point of communication with Buchholz P&A, but went above and beyond that to ensure my car was repaired with the best parts available. Buchholz P&A as a whole will work for their client and the integrity of the vehicle they re repairing, and NOT in the interest of the insurance co. who is trying to save money at each and every corner (often times cutting expenses via aftermarket components of lesser quality - Buchholz P&A won t let that fly). I can t give this company enough praise - they do impeccable work and back it up with awesome warranties.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

A stellar repair for my nearly new car, after a driver crashed into it. Seams and locks and interior details all align expertly. Vehicle returned to me tidy and clean, with no interior smells ( big deal for allergies). Entire staff and owner are forthright, no nonsense people, and set proper expectations on parts delivery, car return. They worked out the repairs with the insurance, thankfully, as I have never had to do so and knew nothing about filing. A big thank you to the team at Bucholz!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Everyone I interacted with at Buchholz was friendly and professional. From my first call to set up an appointment to the time I picked up my car after the work was done, I felt respected and valued. Jason took the time to review the steps necessary to make the repairs, discuss options and answer any questions I had. He made sure to have the job completed on schedule and that I was satisfied with the results. I'll definitely return to Buchholz if I need this type of work done in the future.
