Car wouldn't start while out running errands and by the time roadside assistance arrived to jump it, it was 8:45pm. Called ahead to see if they would be able to install a battery if I arrived by 8:55pm, which was only 5 minutes before closing. Terry was the employee who answered the phone and said he would be happy to install it even if he had to stay late (a competitor auto parts store that was closer to me had said no). He looked up the vehicle and had two options ready upon arrival. And he and another employee stayed until at least 9:30 to install it and a battery for another customer who also arrived just before closing.

I went to the store today for my broken brake bulb. As first time handle this type of issue, I am completely lost. Jasmine helped me find the parts I need, and she even helped me to install the bulb and windshield wipers. She s so attentive and sweet. Love her so much! You made my stressful day went so much easier!

A friend of mine needed a driver-side mirror, so I called in and spoke to the CSR Christian. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful! He advised to order the part that we needed to come in and pay and he ll have it in by Saturday. So we came in the store and he knew exactly who we where and what we needed! We got even better news when we paid, that he ll have the part in by tomorrow instead of Saturday Thanks again Christian! 5 stars

Terry is a fantastic team member and helped my day go from stressful to stress-free. I had a small issue that rendered my car undrivable over long distances, but Terry helped me find the right part quickly and without hassle. He didn't know it, but I was headed out of state that morning for a medical school interview, and his friendly intervention flipped the tone of my morning and got me successfully on my way in under 10 minutes (plus with newfound confidence in my ability to fix my own car problems). 5 stars to the store for being the only auto parts store in Gainesville that was carrying the part I needed, and 5 stars to Terry for fantastic customer service.

Staff here have always been fantastic and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Always willing to take the time to recommend or find parts and help with a repair. James M. who seems to be working often has specifically always gone above and beyond! Truly a standout shop!

I always forget to leave my reviews this is my favorite Auto zone I will drive across town just to come here , I always get the best service from this store James, Ted and Terry are great they are such gentleman they never have an attitude they always go above and beyond for their customers, thank you all so much .

Always shop between the major brands for best price and quality. AutoZone has the nifty $20 reward thing. Comes in handy. I order online and pickup in store. I think I'm only inside for like 30 seconds, then I've got my parts and I'm right back on my way.

I drove ALL THE WAY ACROSS TOWN because your hours state that you close at 10, which would've made you the only auto parts store to be open after 9. Well, I wasted an hour of my life because your listed hours are wrong. Thank you, sincerely.

The Customer Service is garbage it s three employees in the store and I have been here waiting in line for almost fifteen minutes and as soon as I started writing this post the line began to move but James M is really a nice guy he was really helpful

You will wait to be helped while all the employees including the manager talk with one another. They apparently don't want to do anything that requires effort. I understand not liking your job but this is ridiculous the way these guys act towards customers. It's almost passive aggressive and off-putting to even come in for a quart of oil.I just moved here a few months ago and will be going elsewhere. This isn't the only review saying this, either. Read the 1 star reviews...

The gentleman that helped me was very and helpful. He even spent over an hour trying to replace my battery but then was told by his manager that AutoZone aren't able to replace batteries on the 2017 Ford Escape.

Ted! Ted was a true lifesaver and had an excellent attitude toward my predicament of my AC not working on a hot Florida day! He tried to assist me in installing the Freon, and he was incredibly positive and helpful. He is the type of employee who actually deserves recognition for his outstanding attitude.

After going to a hot mess competitor and being told that they can't check my battery, install a new one, or even jump start my car despite being a car parts store, I drove here and got everything done in less than 30mins. I unfortunately forgot the name of the helpful staff member, but she was polite and efficient, and left a good impression of the store

So my car wouldn't start this afternoon. I decided to try Auto Zone for the first time. There were 2 lovely young ladies behind the counter who greeted me immediately. I told them I wasn't sure if it was my battery or alternator. The one girl Rue grabbed a device off the wall and politely asked me to show her to my car. I popped the hood for her, and with such professional ease tossed her hair up into a ponytail, and had my car hooked up and tested the alternator and battery within minutes. She confirmed it was my battery. So we went back inside where the other girl Catherine showed me my battery options with suggestions. I bought the battery and within a few minutes she was rolling it out on a cart with all the supplies she needed to change it. I watched in awe as this young lady gloved up, grabbed her tools, and had my old battery out and the new one expertly placed. I had to ask her how old she was and how she learned to do this!? She told me she was a 21 year old Vet school student and that Auto Zone gave all their employees full training on basic car maintenance and repair. It was 2pm in the afternoon and it was blazing hot and both women impressed me immensely with their service and abilities.

Employees were very helpful.The store was so clean and neat.Unfortunately I was looking for a license plate mounting bracket but the section was not fully stocked.So I had to look in different stores to find a mounting bracket. (Still didn't find one.) So even though they couldn't help me fully today I would go to them first above going anywhere else.

I had to go in today about 4 seperate times to buy tools to help my boyfriend start his car on the side of the road. The man who helped me was Terry and he was amazing. He seemed genuinely concerned for my situation and helped me buy the correct pieces that i needed. He made this experience a lot less awful then it couldve been and for that i think he deserves the recognition.

Employees are very helpful and friendly. A senior male salesperson( John? James? Sorry I could not remember his name) quickly helped me find the windshield wipers I need and the purchase was good. Definitely recommend this store.

Knowledge does not come from a computer. Scary how the people here run their business. If you make change stop rounding up. As customers we can all expect to get professional service. Not here.If you need a bolt don't ask for the thread pitch , if it's standard or metric , or if they have a longer one. My response was it's not in the computer nor do we carry bolts. What happen to you guys?Do you all even know? Told the manager my predicament. NeededA rear seal for transmission and he tried very hard to sell me a rear main seal for my truck. Watch these guys they are not right!

Had a great experience at this store. Morgan was amazing and helped me reattach my rear view mirror when a mechanic and a dealership were unable to. I was told that the only solution was to buy a new mirror for almost $300. Morgan fixed it with a simple washer and it cost me $4 to buy the pack of washers. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you, Morgan!

I went to AutoZone to buy a new headlight bulb, and they installed it for me. The employee (I think her name was Jan) was so nice and helpful! I will definitely come to this location the next time I need something.

Sent my niece here to get her battery checked after having issues. Even though the battery was under warranty, they would not change it out unless she took the battery out herself or she purchased a new one, then she would need to bring the defective battery back to get a full credit. After speaking to the Manager Ryan Huels or Dylan O'Neil, who both stated they were managers said Auto Zone didn't have the tools to remove the battery my niece went to another Auto Zone where they actually changed the battery out the way you would expect Auto Zone to do.
