I visited this shop because of Google reviews. I met Mikail for work on my 2011 Nissan Rogue. He inspected my car and determined that my longnstanding leak came from my evaporator. He showed me the leak through his equipment used to detect the leak.After leaving the vehicle I was able to pick it up in about 1.5 days. He was not pushy and encouraged me to get other prices. I was able to schedule the repair quickly.I am happy with the work as all components of the interior work since the dash had to be removed. He let me know my compressor could be an issue in the future since a clutch repair was already done by my son.I will visit the shop again should I need any repairs in the future. As of now, I recommend this shop. The A/C is now really cold! Thanks for the good, honest work!!

EDIT - response to owner: Your team never picks up the phone. You're not upfront about the inspection fees. Your guys aren't in uniform and they're strolling around the parking lot (and then ask for your keys like I'm supposed to know they work there)...... Just kind of an all-around unprofessional environment. So not very confident that you will provide the best service, just from that experience. Clean shop = clean work. Clean uniforms = attention to detail. No uniforms......... Just not my kind of place.

Went today 1/29/2024 with my 2020 Escalade with ac problem and found the issue in ten minutes.2 hours later car was fixed with new compressor and blowing very cold air inside. very professional and upfront and affordable price.

I had been having AC issues with my F150 for about 6 weeks with no resolution to be found. I brought my truck to Maikel and his technicians and they were able to verify the problem and even provide me a video for verification of problem within 10 minutes of me being there. The verification put me at ease to be able to see the problem for myself and seeing their expertise first hand. Vehicle AC systems are one of the more complicated systems and should be worked on by someone who specializes in that field. The services and customer service were excellent and the pricing I also thought was very fair for the work involved to correct my issue. Very Knowledgeable and Professional group Highly Recommend!

I ve had problems with my AC for over a year and Placetas was the one to find and fix the problem. They were thorough with their explanation and even showed me where the problem was. They were quick to fix everything and I got my car back the same day! I will be recommending them to anyone that has problems with their AC.

To be honest I am always a bit wary whenever I see a business with an almost perfect score. I went there because my Freightliner was not blowing cold air. Michael and his brother are great at there job! Had a loud noise when the A/C was running, they knew exactly what the problem was! Gave me a quote with mins and got the job done in 4 hours! I highly recommend doing business with Michael. He is the most professional and knowledgeable air condition mechanic. He proved himself as a genius electrician. I had issues with my air conditioning in my truck and he fixed it no time for a very reasonable price. He also installed a high-end stereo system in my Jeep, which I'm very pleased with. I would recommend Michael to all my friends, and definitely d more business with him the future.

I had no AC I came all the way from New Jersey just to see Michael he fix my AC in two seconds he find my problem and I was heading back to my work less than one hour I m so happy I listen to my friend and didn t fix my AC in New Jersey and waited until I coming to Fort Lauderdale

I discovered Michael's shop thanks to all the reviews here and was not disappointed ! He was super prompt to assist me with my rear AC for my van conversion and gave me great advices too. I was so happy with his service that I will only go back to him now and get my heater from his shop ! Back in July 2020, my husband, Gerardo took our Nissan Maxima to this AC shop. The AC didn't work, it blew hot air. Nobody knew what the problem was and wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars to fix it. Maikel immediately knew what the problem was. He charged a very reasonable price. He stood behind his work. Months later, we never had a problem with the AC again. He was extremely honest, professional and reliable. We would recommend this place to all our friends and family. I took my car to this place last week after my ac broke down, all I can say is that I recommend this business 100% with closed eyes, this guy helped me out without hesitation once I get there, he replaced a hose I need and the price was unbeatable

Had an issue with a Ford Excursion not cooling properly. Problem had gone undiagnosed for at least a year. I found Placetas doing a Google search. Found that they had really good reviews so I gave them a try.
