As good as they get. I've been dealing with them for years. They are great at rebuilding alternators, upping amperage for those into music. It's not that big of a place, but they stay busy. From my experience of mechanics that I've dealt with when it come to electrical issues that they can't handle, Mc Innis is the shop they refer.

I have been going to McInnis Auto Electric since 1990. Colin And Denzel have saved my car many times. They have the friendliest staff. They have affordable prices. No stories. No B.S. No drama. They get the job done. Very Knowledgeable and Respectable Men of Integrity and Principle as well. I consider them family. In fact I am taking my car to them in the morning to get my starter replaced. William Yakel ( Satisfied Customer ) for life.

I previously gave this business a five star cause they fixed the problem, but just make sure you take note of everything they do take pictures because sometimes they forget the additional work that they do

This my 2nd time at Mcinnis this time it s because of my driver side back back brake light wasn t working and comes to fine out is was the wiring socket was broken/bad. The was getting done as I posted this review 12/27/2023

Great service. They saved me hundreds on my Jag alternator and did a second great job on another starter. Now I'm in ahh with the work done on the alternator (see pics)

Mc Innis has been there long time no issues with them. Was referred to Ray's mechanic shop next door. Ray told me to be there at 8:00 a.m. they were not open. Ray was there but the shop was not open. So I'm at Pep Boys getting service I deserve and need

Well what can I say 5 years later still the same great service. Had to service a rather unique and older car, while going for one problem a crank no start issue my car was previously broken thus having a driver side window broken. After diagnosing my vehicle I was advised to get my driver side window replace and was also referred to this individual that came to the shop and repair it on the scene for a rather decent price after looking all around town. I must admit some days very frustrated waiting to hear an answer on time to pick up but once again they are a very busy shop anyone that's from Fort Lauderdale know this place has been here for years same brothers same great service . Also fair prices no need to debate just pay the man and make sure to always keep your receipts which should be a no brainer. Took care of my vehicle as if it was one of there on anytime of day I can come in and literally walk up to my car having progress. This is my second unique and rather old cat have have taken to them plus my own mom goes to these guys hands down the best if they don't know(which is rare) they know that will know the problem lol . First off, Colin is the MAN! He and his staff are exceptional and very knowledgeable. Fast and friendly service is always nice but the most important thing about getting your car fixed is having an experienced and professional staff that know what they're doing. That is all here! Yeah the shop might be a little hard to find for the first time and even harder to get into being so busy and such little space but it's always busy for a reason and that's a small price to pay for exceptional service

They replaces my Alternator with a refurbished one and three years later it's still running. Everyone there gave me top service and one-day service dropped it off in the morning and picked it up after work. I needed a new starter for my truck, I call went in. Spoke with Mr. Colin what a great person, all the machanics were very nice. I had my truck done under an hour. Very rrsable prices and they don't rip you off. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. It was a pleasure going there. Will definitely return if I need to.

My 17 year old niece went in for car service and paid the guy and was still issues. The guy advised her to drive straight home still took her $350. He also told her she needed an engine. She also told me the old man (47) tried to talk to her even when she told him her age. Please don t send young girls to these guys. They are tricks not business men.

My time and gas was wasted a few times visiting this place. I wish it was due to waiting to be served, but it was due to poor communication. I won t even get into all that happened. Workers were mild mannered, however. It was just frustrating experience for no good reason.

Excellent service. Junior is so nice and took care me. He dropped me home as I left my car there. I have been going here for years and they are so reasonable in price and timely.

I was down in Ft Lauderdale on vacation when my car broke down and needed a new alternator. My first call was to Pepboys and they quoted me $600 which was a lot considering the part was only $120. Then I called McInnis and they quoted me under $200. In a day-and-age when every repair at a Big-Box Repair Shop somehow always ends up costing $500 - $1000+ (regardless of the cost of the part), it was refreshing to find an honest business for a change.They were polite, professional, and had great communication, and don t let their smaller lot fool you, they make use of every inch of space they have, they made the repair within 2 hours of receiving the car.This is a family-owned business, McInnis is what America is all about. Give these guys a shot next time your car needs an electrical repair, I couldn t recommend them more.Service: Electrical

I was looking for a place to install my fog lights and very seldom do I go to a place I don't know, specially being from Miami bit i went there and explained to the technician my problem and that i was told by another technician that the original switch could not be used since it was a different cable and power outage. The technician straight up told me how they just wanted to do that to charge more money, I left my car and left about 1 1/2 hours later I came back and omg my lights were working perfect to my surprise not only was I charged a lot less than what I was quoted at the previous place but I had the connection done the way I wanted it.

They had to take off my alternator to determine if it was in deed my alternator. They called me and said it wasn't my alternator but they are still gone to charge me a fee of $100.00 for labor . They said it' s hard to detect the problem because it is starting now. By the way I did informed them I just changed my battery a week ago. So I paid ....to later find out , they didn't have to take off my alternator to figure out it was the alternator. They could have simply took off the negative terminal on the battery or purchase an up to date technology device that you can put on the battery to determine. Now I just paid another labor fee and a new alternator all in one week not including towing fees ...my car is now working perfectly. Stop taking advantage of women!!!!!

I just got my bmw fix today and found why my battery kept dying. Months ago Mr. Mcinnis couldnt fix the issue but he did get my car back running and kept it storage for me over night for only 20$. He could've easily lied and said it was the alternator i would have paid at least 200 easy just cause my car was running again and I was happy. So to have it completely fixed months later and be told my alternator is fine. As a blk American i must say these Jamaicans and their IQ with cars are off the charts especially BMWs

They are very kind and have very good price and you don't have to worry about your car because they are the goat and if anything go wrong which will not they would do it again for free I had nothing but good experience with them over 9 years

They were very unprofessional. They quoted me a price and said it would be done by noon or 1pm. I called to check on the car at 1:30pm and they said they are going to start it now so I called back at 3:45pm and said it would be done by 5pm and they raised the price double. I would never go back there again !!!
