Adam was very unprofessional, I paid four grand for a rebuilt transmission I towed the truck to the shop more then I drove itMy truck caught on fire due to transmission pan wasn t properly tightened it leaked on the exhaust which caught on fire burnt my wires hoses etcAnd now they do not want to pay for the damages that gotten repairedTo each is own but I definitely don t recommend especially when it s your business vehicle

Don t not do business here. I spoken to Jason three times before I drop my car off. Jason said I can drop car off and he find the problem free. I drop my car off before going to work early in the morning before they open. Jason called me saying there a code on the car for him to look at the code it s 250 Jason know I m press for time and need someone to take at look at my car so I agree. When I picked my car I was trying to explain to Jason if he would inform me from the beginning that 265 plus tax just to check my car I would understand and wouldn t be upset. I know it had a code already I read the code myself. Jason attitude is terrible. (He said I m not getting out of this) like I wasn t going to pay him he s money. I ask to speak to a manager he said he is the manager I ask for corporate number he said it s a private business so ask for the owner contact information he said he s not given it to me. Bad customer, service and not honest at all.

Jason is very friendly. I appreciate his honesty and the time he took to examine the issue with my transmission his time is greatly appreciated and I would totally recommend him his honesty is a plus I m sure all can appreciate. I would definitely return when my car needs service. Thank you

Had my 2013 Toyota van towed into this AAMCO service center believing my transmission was shot ..I was prepared mentally to pay big bucks for a rebuild.John with customer service called me a few hours later to explain that the transmission itself was actually ok, the problem was the the previous service company that installed the new front drive shafts (front wheel drive) has made a mistake and improperly installed the main seals resulting in leakage which in turn drained the transmission fluid.Bottom line the honestly and integrity of the AAMCO service center save me thousands ..and to make it better they had the entire job completed in a single day.John the service manager was a great communicator, and made the entire process as pleasant as a broken down vehicle service could be.Excellent servicesQuality workGreat valueBobService: Transmission

I must say that John at this Aamco is one of the best customer service representatives I have encountered throughout my years of having car service. He always answers the phone pleasantly and professionally. They took great care of my vehicle and kept me posted every step of the way. John was outstanding from the beginning to the end. Was knowledgeable enough to also help me realize I had tow assistance. Was very clear and communicative the entire way . Genuinely some of the best customer service I've ever had, give the man a raise !

* review updated from 5 to 2 stars*They told me diagnosis would be free. I took car to them and they told me they would call me in the morning which they didn't. When I called them back they wanted me to pay $360 for them to do 2 hours of diagnosis, I declined their offer . I had to do two Uber trips out to get my car, they wasted my time and money by doing a bait and switch in regard to offering a "free diagnosis"Was on phone a bit ago with John about a transmission issue, he was very helpful and nice. It's good to see a mechanic shop that's helpful and also open minded and lgbt for a change

. I'm a young woman. So at first my anxiety was high due to the stigma of" car shops taking advantage of woman" my experience was opposite. Lee the owner is pleasant, patient & knowledgeable. I forgot I don t have a professional google account. But today I dropped my car off to get some transmission work done. The manager Jon really took care of me. Usually when I go into shops like this they try to hustle you out of every penny. He made sure what we discussed would actually be done. He deserves a raise and a company car.

If you're having vehicle issue and not sure where to go, AAMCO is definitely the place! It's very reliable and I would feel comfortable with recommending anyone to this business. I'm grateful for my experience and how professional they were from Jay the manager to Andrew the mechanic. The best thing was meeting Lee the owner. Nothing means more than seeing how the professionalism starts from the top and trickles all the way down. Just please remember to be as patient as you can when it comes to mechanic work, sometimes there are unforeseen things that could happen while trying to fix your vehicle. Anyone that knows mechanic work knows that troubleshooting a problem can sometimes last for days. Besides, they want to fix your vehicle just as fast as you want your vehicle fixed. You know you've found an honest mechanic when they tell you to go home because your car is fine and doesn't need servicing, despite what other mechanics have you told you. Another mechanic told me my rear brake pads needs replacing and wanted to charge over $1000! Aamco was going to charge $250 for the same service. Upon inspecting the vehicle they determined the rear pads still had 30% left and suggested waiting another 10-12 months. They did not charge anything for the inspection. Not that I'm looking forward to getting work done on my car, but I am looking forward to giving Aamco my service next time work is needed.

Was on vacation from Michigan and found this place online. I am so glad that I did. Jay took care of me like family. I highly recommend this shop for any issues you may have. Everyone was profesional and went out of their way to get me back on the road and back home safely. I recently had an amazing experience at AAMCO transmission & total care care center. The transmission went out on my car and I couldn't move it from my driveway... After calling a few places I was getting different prices and no assurances on the firm price or repairs to my car. After a few hours of frustration I call the AAMCO store on N. Dixie Hwy and talked to Jay whom listen to my extensive explanation and to my surprise not only did he listened and gave me an explanation of what it could possible be the issue with my car over the phone; not only did he offered to tow my car to his shop but also to ran a diagnostic to make sure the transmission was the problem. I accepted and within an hour a tow truck showed up to my house and towed my car to his shop! Jay called me the next day and he was extremely professional, stayed in touch with follow-ups, gave me detail information via email of repairs costs; he applied website discounts and I think he gave me extra discounts that i'm forever appreciative of their work. Today my car is in perfect conditions and running smooth, he gave me a warranty on the transmission and told me to bring it back for future maintenance. AAMCO has a new customer for life. I rarely write online reviews but I honestly feel that AAMCO in N. Dixie Hwy needs to be recognize as a great place for you to bring your car for repairs. You won't be disappointed. If I could give them 10 starts I would. Way to go AAMCO Team!!Service: Transmission

I am surprised about other comments saying that they are unprofessional!It is the opposite, they are extremely kind! I called yesterday and my car is already being fixed this morning! Service was not timely. We needed to call repeatedly to check on our car and get updates. The car was not completed until three days after the date we were originally promised. This caused us problems as we had to go out of town in the meantime and arrange for it to be picked up by a family member as we were out of town. We also were without our vehicle for over ten days. Worst of all, we chose AAMCO because of its reputation as being a transmission shop. The manager informed us (when we were calling one of the times to inquire as to when our vehicle would be ready) that they subbed out the transmission work on our vehicle! Amazing...we would have chosen another shop if we had known this. Our experience was frustrating and disappointing. Hopefully the performance of our vehicle in the future (with no more engine issues after the repair) will somewhat change our current opinions and feelings.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Service ended up $1,000 more expensive than the original estimate and with the information that if I didn't fix the car, I had to tow it. Each time I talked to the manager, he had a different information to add. Awful way to deal with the car issue and the customer.Curiously I had another problem in my car 2 days after transmission had been replaced. I needed to replace my car's alternator and the manager posture was completely different from my previous experience! He was attentive to the car's problem, called me and explained what was wrong in details. My car was fixed in the same day with a fair value for the repair. Super expensive for the change of 4 spark plugs and coils plus labor pay $1,140.00 and a new engine costs $1,600 they charge twice as much as a dealer. The diagnosis is not free although they tell you otherwise, be careful. Mr.Lee, read then from what you tell me your spare parts cost twice as expensive as the manufacturer's urinals

This business is professionally operated. I am by nature always a little skeptical when I take my car for any repairs, but with this location I never felt any issues. Upon walking in I was greeted with a wonderful smile and amazing conversation. Monica at the front desk was upfront and very honest when she told me what my repairs were needed. The cost was also fair and even afterwards when the work was completed and I had another small issue, they took care of it immediately. I was very impressed and will definitely take my car here for future repairs!

I was referred to this place by a close friend, and upon dropping my car off to this place for transmission service. It was smooth sailing and then everything went down hill by the second visit, not even a whole week later I was back at AAMCO due to my transmission problem still not being fixed. After a constant back and forth with AAMCO charging me large amounts for a problem they never fixed, my car was robbed for my amp and speakers while under their care. I DO NOT recommend having your car worked on at AAMCO if you have valuables inside. When I spoke with the owner Lee Konsker, at AAMCO Transmissions, Wilton Manors, he verbally stated to me that I need to call my home owner insurance and he will not be covering the cost of anything that was stolen. He also did not let me view the security footage from when my car was in AAMCO S possession, and they stated my car would remain in the bay because I have a customer which was proven to be a lie. If I could rate it zero stars I would, do not bring your car here.Service: Transmission

I am more than pleased to write a great survey about the service I received from AAMCO on Dixie highway! My initial call was received by Jay and he could not have been more pleasant and offered me to bring my vehicle down ASAP to diagnose the problem I was having with getting my shift gear into park. Then I got to meet Ingo Who was extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics and workings of that shifter gear and over the next couple of days worked endlessly to find a solution to fix it along with Jay making endless amounts of phone calls to other Mitsubishi dealerships looking for a replacement part which has become obsolete. Yesterday I received a call from Jay telling me that my truck was fixed, that they had found a solution with the assistance of another awesome mechanic named Andrew. I could not be more pleased with my overall service and customer care! I highly recommend this location for AAMCO on Dixie highway Close to five corners just a bit down next to the U-Haul. I can honestly say this is the first review I ve written, but I wanted to find some way to thank the people that helped me at this AAMCO. I brought my car in with an Air Conditioning issue. As they investigated the problem they found the cause was an extensive electrical problem that would cost more to repair than the car is worth.I m so grateful because most places would suggest fixing this or that to put a bandaid on it and make good money from me and then when the problem came back they would shrug their shoulders. But the people here were HONEST and told me it may be time to look for another car. I don t know anything about cars so I m pretty helpless with these things, and I can t say enough how amazing it was to feel I can trust the people helping me.I ll come here for any car issue I have because I trust they won t screw me and in talking to the people there I believe they can fix pretty much any car problem.Services: Electrical, Air conditioning
