Wanted to THANK Serge and his team for helping remedy a car problem I had under some tight timing restrictions. So helpful. The way neighborhood service should be but not found so much anymore. Well done.

My wife went in to get an estimate for brakes on a 2006 Honda Accord. They only wanted $2,000.00 SMH - She left. From this experience I believe they prey on elderly customers which there is alot of in and around Lake county Florida which is very sad.

Was my first time using their services, walked away very pleased. Went to the dealer first to get my timing belt changed but after the quote I received wanted to see if there was a less expensive option. Complete Auto was significantly cheaper in price and extremely happy I went to them instead. To top it off about a week later noticed they replaced my windshield wiper blades for free. Will definitely go back for future services. Anthony MauroServices: Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

You need to avoid this place at all costs! I took my "running perfectly fine" Tahoe in due to a check engine light. I was afraid I was hurting it by running it so, took it to these people. Again, I repeat, the Tahoe was running fine. In fact, we had just come back from a trip with it. First, they charge you to do an inspection when every other place I have been to does it for free. At 8:30 in the morning, I get a call with the price of a new fuel injection system that seemed really high. I told them that we would wait and get it done later. At 10:00, they called saying that the Tahoe wasn't drivable and I would need to have it towed. When I got there, sure enough, it wouldn't stay running. It would stall. I rushed back in, very upset. I told them that it wasn't doing that and was running fine before I brought it to them. They denied doing anything to it. I called AAA and had it towed from their shop to my normal mechanic. I am waiting to get the result. So, I paid them $55 to break my Tahoe. I believe they were railroading me and when I caught on, they broke something to try and force me to have it fixed there. Can I prove that? No. However, again...took it to them running, had to tow it out. There was no way I was going to let them touch my Tahoe again. Stay away!!! Go to the Car Doctor in Eustis. Should have held off and taken it to them in the first place. Shame on me! But, it is there now.UPDATE: This place charged me twice for the inspection. He denied it, refused to refund it, and forced me to open a dispute with the bank. In addition, my mechanic called regarding my Tahoe. He said I, now, need those parts. However, it looked as if it had been tampered with. So, yes, it needed the parts, but he made me need them sooner. AKA...He wanted to make sure I couldn't drive it out of there.SECOND UPDATE: My mechanic got the Tahoe running and took it out for a test drive. It overheated (never had done that before). When he got it back, he found that there was no water in the radiator. He put water back in it and couldn't detect any leak. It had been drained. When he put the water it mixed with oil....blown head gasket. The head gasket had been checked and listed as fine in May. This guy drained my radiator and blew my head gasket.

I am only going to give you the facts. You make your own decision on whether you want to take your money and your car to this repair shop. When I moved to the Eustis area in 2017 I found this local repair shop to be logistically convenient and it seemed as though the owner wanted to do a good job. As time went on I could see that was not the case. He seemed to overcharge me for everything, including repairs to a 2004 RAV4 and to a 2002 Mercedes S430....he said he specialized in foreign cars.I should've realized the last time I went to him that he was misrepresenting what was wrong with the car by telling me I needed a new air conditioning compressor, when all I needed was a refill of Freon.Today was the last straw, I was desperate, and I took my Mercedes back to him stating I had a battery warning light, even though I put in a fresh battery. He wrote down a figure of $100 to check out the electrical system. I did not realize that he was charging me $100 per hour. It ended up costing me $300 just to get a diagnosis of a bad alternator. Then he said the cost to replace the alternator would be an additional $1,000. He then added that there were other electrical problems like the headlights not working properly and the trunk not opening properly and that there would be an additional diagnostic charge and expense for fixing those. When I told him that it was too much money I went and picked up my car and paid him the $300. After I got home I realized that he had left my car in pieces. Wires were left hanging in the trunk because the entire trunk lock assembly was removed, and the felt covering from the inside of the trunk lid was pulled off and left on the floor. I have attached photos of how he left my car. When I called him the next day, he said " return it and I'll put is back together, but it still won't work " . Needless to say I will not be returning to his shop.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I was a bit surprised at the number of horror stories and negative reviews I found here when I can to do my own review. I had used this facility regularly for a few years as I lived close to it. They seemed a bit pricey to to me (despite their claim to be a discount shop) and their communication seemed iffy sometimes, but the quality of the work seemed fine. Now the last time I took one of my vehicles there for an oil leak, I was told it was "spewing" oil and needed two gaskets replaced for a total of over $500. I had never noticed anything but a slow drip, so I said I had to wait to do the work and I took it to another shop I had heard good things about. They said it needed and oil pan gasket but not the other gasket, and it cost $150. So I now used a different repair shop.

I took my daughter's car here a couple of months ago because it was having firing problems and doing some "spitting and sputtering" while running. Serge explained he would run a diagnostic test and told me the price. Once the test was completed he called me and said that the car needed plugs and a coil. He also explained that although the car needed only one coil, given that it had 200,000 miles on it, it was only a matter of time before the other coils went bad, so I went ahead and told him to replace the remaining three coils. A disreputable mechanic would have told me he had to replace all four, but Serge was very honest. I also checked on the average parts and labor and it was within the average cost. I'll be taking her car back here soon for some preventative maintenance.

They were very professional and up front with pricing and needed work. My engine light came on and I took my car to this place. They checked and determined it was the sensor for the gas cap. After tightening the gas cap they told me no charge for placing my car on their machine. Had two oil changes when due with them and no problems so far. Not quite sure why all the negative reviews.

The repair needed on my car was performed with efficiency and expedience, at a cost less than other quotes. They stand behind their work. With extensive traveling, it is important to me that my vehicle is in top condition at all times, I trust this repair shop. I can speak highly of their integrity to have the interest of their customer at heart.

TOTALLY ripped me off! Took my car apart then put it back together WITHOUT CALLING ME TO LET ME KNOW Auto Zone gave me the wrong part! Only found out after I called THEM at the end of the day! (They told me they would call to 1. Let me know how much it was going to cost and 2. let me know when it was done) So when I came to pick it up the next day the price was four times as much as should have been! Very unprofessional! Also my car stunk so bad like someone didn t shower for a week, I had to drive with all four windows down and spray it with fabric freshener! There were no apologies for the lack of unprofessional conduct. So they charged me for their own lack of professionalism by taking the car apart and putting it back together twice all because they were too stupid to pick up the phone and let me know what was going on!

I had called multiple places to get quotes and they were all way over priced. I happened to call here and the owner is the one i spoke to on the phone the 2 times i called him today.. He even offered to give me directions to get there. He is very friendly, professional and is no BS kind of guy but isn't rude when he tells you the truth. Although i had an unexpected expense come up while they were inspecting my brakes the service and facility were amazing. very clean and smelled good (he even gave me the remote to watch whatever i wanted while waiting) he even gave me tips and price quotes for future service. I will definitely make the drive from orlando to come to this shop just because of how awesome the service was here! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!

Stopped in for a price quote on a filter replacement this past week. Seems like a simple job. These guys aren't mechanics, they are ripoff artists. Advised I needed all this work on my car. I stopped at my dealer Saturday to ask as I was concerned, and they went over my car, and replaced the filter. That was it along with a minor recall. These so called mechanics are morons. Stay away no discounts here just an attempt to overcharge. One of their so called mechanics also smelled of alcohol. Happy I got second opinion and saved my hard earned money. Stay away from these idiots.

I've used this shop 4 or 5 times before I realized that they were most likely taking me for a ride. The last time I was there they I paid them around $65 for an engine diagnostic for a ticking sound. I was told the ticking was coming from my exhaust when it was definitely audible from the front engine compartment. They additionally told me that I would need a complete engine replacement. Now I have a Chevy with over 200,000 miles on it. I wasn't opposed to the thought but of course called around to get quotes. I ended up taking it to another mechanic who actually had some talent. Long story short it needed an oil pump. Think Serge could have figured this out due to the gauge not working? That was my new mechanics first question over the phone. I'm not entirely sure Serge is capable of anything short of stupid sayings on his sign out front of the shop. My advice would be to stay faaar far away.

After exhaustive research and price shopping (I don't always look for the lowest price) I decided to take my Honda Crosstour to Complete Discount Auto Repair for a new timing belt. The dealer wanted to charge me over $1200 and 3 other shops were over $800. Complete Discount Auto Repair came in with a price far below anyone else for the job.I know that ASE certified means a lot. It means that they know what they're doing and my car is proof. The work was completed on time and I am totally happy with the job that was done. They warrantee the parts for life and the labor for 24 months.Serg is an excellent mechanic and I found him to be a no nonsense personable kind of person. Richard is very accommodating and gave me a price that was delivered.I always read reviews and have become somewhat skilled at sorting through the emotional ego driven and unreasonable ones. There are some of those emotional reviews here that are subject to the 2 sides to every story rule. I met people in the waiting room who expressed how good this shop was for them.Bottom line is this, if you need car repairs and you want quality at a reasonable price, with a guarantee, give these guys a try, I will be going back in the future.*******My car was misfiring and kept throwing error codes. I took it to Serg and AGAIN I was extremely happy with the results. I am not sure about the folks that are leaving the bad reviews. TIP... Don't bring your own parts. It seems that many of the bad reviews are from people that brought their own parts. You get a "lifetime" warranty when you allow them to put in parts that they can stand behind. Yes you can buy some parts cheaper online BUT, understandably you don't get the lifetime warranty.

Where do I start, I have 2009 Volvo XC90 the service charging system light came on, I took it to these guys get it fixed. They told me that it was the alternator, and that it needed to be replaced. It is gear driven and they tried to tell me that I needed to replace the engine and said that the accessorie drive shaft was slipping on the end that is in the engine. Turns out that when I did some research that shaft is gear driven and cannot slip because it is driven off the camshaft. So I told them to put it back together which they did. They charged me $725.00 to replace an alternator that cost $379.00 from the dealer. I drove the car for a couple of days then the same warning came back on when I was driving to work. I turned around and drove directly there to tell them their guaranteed work was not working! They would not talk to me and sent a mechanic out to tell me that the shaft in the engine was damaged and they had tried to clean up the threads and put some thread lock on it. And it just would not work. So I ask the mechanic about the gear and the shaft and he sad he really didn't know because he was ask to help put the car back together, and was not the mechanic who took it apart. They did not know that I am an aircraft mechanic and was smelling a large rat by this time. I took the car home and took it apart. I found sensors not reconnected, loose bolts that I could turn with my fingers, and clamps for the intake hoses that were not retightened at all they simply slipped apart. When I got to the alternator I found the drive gear completely loose and the threads at the base of the bolt damaged but no threads inside the shaft were damaged at all, I also found that they had not put thread-locker on the bolt at all because different types of thread locker are colored and would stain the bolt. It was completely clean (I have pictures and video of this because I plan on sueing them in small claims court.) then I went to the Volvo store in Winter Park and ordered the bolt which cost 3 dollars. While I was there a mechanic named James told me how to fix it, one big thing he showed me is a special tool made to hold the gear in place while it is tightened (which they obviously don't have) to the shaft, other wise it will just spin the motor and you will never get it tightened. Then James ask me if they had taken the bushings that are around the bolts that fasten the alternator out of the old one and put them in the new one. When I went home and checked they were missing. He told me that if they were missing that it would allow the alternator to shift and add stress on the bolt and gear. He said that the outcome would be the same every time. Everyone in this shop lied to me and told me a different story, then they refused to do anything else. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THIS SHOP! They are criminals and nothing more!

We were needing an A/C fix on our sons car. Dropped the car off for A/C check; they never called us to let us know the status of the car, after the car being in the shop from Friday to Monday they kept giving us the run around about a switch then they told us that they had got three different switches for different amount of money and thay they were the wrong ones. Now its Tuesday and again no one was responsible enough to again give us a call on the status of our car. We decided to call again and now they were telling us we needed a compressor, we told them we didnt want our car being fix with them because we did not trust their word or work and the owner hung up the phone in our face. We had also called around and spoke with another honest mechanic and they also told us that this place was horrible and that the owner was very rude. If your looking for an honest place to fix your car and have good service, DONT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Bad experience. Changed the starter, just a simple job, but didn't insure that the computer wouldn't reset when unhooking battery. Sloppy work that left my radio inoperable. Wouldn't fix my radio or get the serial number off of it so I could get the reset code. Well, they would, but they would charge me to do so. I did check with them before letting them do the work that they wouldn't let the radio reset, but they did and left me with a shoddy repair job.Besides, they padded the repair bill as much as they could

$45/hour labor but they make up for the lower rate by padding parts. I got two quotes from different shops. Both quotes were the same. One shop charged $75/hour and this shop charged $45/hour. Figure it out for yourself. Don't trust this guy and yes I found him to be rude also. I'm so glad I didnt go with his service after reading these reviews.

I wish I could give this place a negative rating and buy it out so customers wouldn't have to deal with it. First off they tried charging me nearly $1600 bucks for a basic timing belt pump service while telling me that the local Pep-Boys charge more. I called the local Pep-Boys and they said the job is about $600 bucks. Since the engine was already torn down I had no choice but to let them finish it - wish I hadn'tMove forward about 22k miles. The harmonic balancer loosened and my belts fell off nearly stranding me. Upon further inspection by another shop, the above timing service left the bolt under torqued which destroyed the balancer and nearly destroyed the camshaft lock.Simply the worst mechanic on the face of the earth.

Total ripoff off artistsLuckily I am a shade tree mechanic and having a working knowledge of enginesThis clown tried to charge me a $131 dollars for a partI was suspicious as I had priced one at an auto parts store for $66I then checked actual dealership who are well known for there exorbitant markups and their price was $94 dollarsI confronted the scam artist and got sixty bucks taken offI won't be backJust for two spark plug coils it cost me over $400 dollarsNext time I will do the work myselfHe is not to be trustedGives a blah blah spiel about parts lifetime guarantee and work etcHe charges enough, that he could do the same job four times and still make a profitMy advice "run like hell" and tell everyone you know to avoid this placeHe is a thief and a crook and also rudeWorst repair shop in a hundred mile radiusWalk or ride a bike before dealing with this scam artistHe is crooked and will have to be screwed into the ground when he dies.Only positive reviews seem to come from women.I know a scam artist an he is a grifterDo not use him and tell all your friends to stay away.Addendum: The owner has written some convoluted story comparing his business to an upper end steakhouse. Im not sure what he means by a 10k scanner, as it has nothing to do with his predatory practices.Wow, the analogy is truly misguided, as they are nothing more than liars and thieves, who prey upon the the innocent and uninformed, in my opinion. This place is not high end and merely a facade for their nefarious repair business.

Travel by the new shop , looks clean and well maintained. Figured I should give it a try. Explained the symptoms and was requested to leave vehicle. Several days later told to come by as problem had been remedied. Bill presented and was totally dumfounded. Unprepared for exorbatent price quoted for work done. What to do, refuse to pay and leave without my much needed transportation, Or fight to have a reasonable explanation for work done and come to some agreeable middleground. Forget the latter. Take your vehicle and run, do not look back, hold on to your wallet and take an alternate route from now on as this place is bad news. Still looking for a place to repair my vehicle to good running condition..
