Craig was amazing! He helped me diagnose something that even Hyundai themselves couldn t. He was upfront and honest and never came off abrasive or scammy at any point. I am a young woman which is usually a vulnerable combination in the automotive industry but Craig was very respectful and treated me with respect. I will be taking my vehicle back to him for future needs. Bonus points because he s handsome too.

I have an old Chevy Conversion Van that Dennis and his Staff have maintained for over 20 years . Everything from Brakes , Bearings,Tires , Engine & Accessory Drive Belt and Components , Oil Changes and Window Mechanisms .They can do it all and pretty much have done it all not only for my Van but our personal vehicle . Knowledgable and Fair . Thanks A1 !

I had oil changed/wipers replaced and asked to check brakes. Confirmed brakes were good but place that installed did not align properly and needed slight adjustment. A-1 took care of it at no charge. Will definitely be back for my car maintenance and repairs!

I was having issues with over priced tires I purchased from a chain store, they rode rough and the tire light never went out no matter how many times I took it back. I went to A1 and Craig installed four new, reasonably priced tires in less than an hour! I always have my maintenance performed there and am always very pleased. I recently experienced outstanding work done at A-1 auto. I had an estimate done else where to have my A/C fixed. That estimate was outrageous and no way was I going to pay that much. So I was looking for another place to get one. My father has been using A-1 for many years and he was why not see what they think. So I dropped it off. Dennis charged the system and found no leaks. He then found something blocking the condenser and pulled it out since it didn't look right. I had them do an oil change as well. He told me to drive it for a week and see what happens since that's how long my personal charge would last. Here it is a week and a half and I drove home tonight with cold air. Total cost $207 with oil change. Saved me $2300. A-1 Auto has earned my respect. Great job guys! Thank you again.

Update: We haven't needed any repairs in years. My son came home from collage for a few day & his Nissan wasn't running right. A-1 was able to get me right in & it was a quick fix. The price was very reasonable! Although it's been 8 years since I needed a repair, They still give great service. I'll continue to go back to them when I have car trouble!2013: We had them repair our Toyota that was not running properly. After 1 month the car began running poorly again. One of the parts they replaced was defective. They replaced it in less than 1 hour, free of charge. It's been running fine for 3 months now. I'll go back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been taking my cars to A-1 for many years. I like their work ethic. My experience with the repairs has always been positive. They can be trusted! They really are interested in keeping you and your family safe on the road and make repair suggestions to you based on that. Then, you decide what YOU want to do. The prices are fair and their work is done in a professional manner. It's great to have an organization like A-1 to call when you have a problem with your car.

A1 Auto Care has my highest possible recommendation. They are the best automotive repair garage in Englewood Florida no doubt. From transmissions to tires they can do it all and the price is always reasonable and fair. They will not try and rip you off, they are very honest, and they approach every repair job with the utmost of integrity. I have brought in my 07 Silverado truck and 01 Toyota Corolla for various repairs and maintenance several times, each time, Dennis (owner) and Cecil (front desk) have provided me detailed communications about every aspect of what is needed and also what is not needed. Again, they will not try to add unnecessary things just to make a buck. You cant go wrong with A1, give them a try and you ll see what I mean!Service: General repairs & maintenance

One of the most difficult things to do is find an honest mechanic. We'll look no more. A-1 Auto Care is spectacular.I'm big on customer service, and they have it in spades.One thing that impressed me was the overall knowledge on display. All the techs there are great and they are ASC certified.The turnaround time is great as well. Out of my many visits I've only had to leave my truck there overnight once. My truck is a dog with over 200,000 miles and they keep me going no matter how hard I try and destroy my truck.The prices are fair and they are also a Napa service center so your work is covered nation wide as far as I know.I would for sure recommend this place and I have many times

Dennis and his team are qualified professionals that not only offer excellent customer service, they are ALL highly trained in automotive repair and service. Absolutely wonderful!! I can not thank these guys enough. I drove in from Tennessee for work and had issues with my vehicle while on the highway saying the transmission fluid temp was too high. This morning as I'm a nervous wreck, they got me in as soon as they could to check my car. Turned out that my ball joints were really bad and my tires were almost bald on top of needing a filter for my transmission. Cecil is probably the sweetest man ever!!!! He drove me back to my friends house and picked me up when my car was finished. I still have tears in my eyes for how grateful I am to everyone that was there today!!!! Thank you again

Dennis is Excellent, Runs a very professional shop. Always does great work, never any surprises. Lets you know what's going on and leaves it up to you as to what you want done.Does what he says he will do, when he will do it and what the cost is. Customer care is a priority.Highly recommend.

A-1 Auto Care was awesome! I had a bad scraping noise coming from my front brake and on the off chance late in the day I swung in and Dennis said he'd take a look. He put it up on the lift and all he had to do was bend some metal back and VIOLA! NO MORE NOISE ! He didn't even charge me! That's HONEST HOMETOWN SERVICE!

Best Auto Repair Shop in Englewood. Have used them for over 15 years. Because of Dennis's ethics and honesty he has saved me literally several hundreds of dollars. I would not consider going anywhere else.

I used them for years for all my auto needs. Then, one summer, I received a coupon in my mailbox for a free oil change at another local auto shop and tried them for a bit. After a year of standard oil changes, this new shop told me I suddenly had a $3,500 problem with my new 2008 Toyota. The guy said he "heard something" in the engine. I went back to A1 for a second quote and they found nothing wrong. Mr. Guzik test drove the car, opened the hood, and hooked it up to a computer- something the other place didn't even attempt but wanted me to shell out some big cash for something he "heard" that I wasn't capable of hearing... even though I'm a professional, classically trained and degreed musician. I will never leave Dennis Guzik and his amazing staff at A1 Auto Care again! They give me the truth every time with reasonable pricing. You can't beat honest, clean, and efficient business.

I am posting this on behalf of me and my late husband, John Grimshaw, Sr. We have known Dennis Guzik personally for ten plus years. We have always taken our automobiles to him for service. We hang on to our cars, so it is important to keep them running good all of the time. Dennis is very good at what he does, very well organized and honest as the day is long. This guy is disrespectfull and over charged my grandfather grandmother and tried to lie to us about the repairs. He's very slick as in building elderly trust . And his reviews are old and yes it's say 5 star lol but only 15 reviews no . Shops in Florida need stop taking advantage of elderly like this guy . Be careful check baby is best bet.

I recently took my 2009 Honda Accord into the Port Charlotte Honda dealer for a scheduled service call dealing with recurring ABS and VSA lights appearing on my dashboard instrument panel.I was told that I would need to replace the ABS Computer Module - to the tune of $1,400.00 + tax.I had my auto serviced prior at A-1 Auto Care by Dennis and his team and decided to have them provide me a "2nd" opinion of the problem.The findings by A-1 Auto Care was a totally different assessment. They ran a diagnostic scope on my Honda, road-tested it for good measure prior to providing me what they thought was the "fix" and as an end result.. it was a faulty rear brake sensor that was the culprit. A-1 to the "rescue"!!!They saved me over $1,200.00 in unnecessary repairs and made my day!I would TOTALLY recommend A-1 Auto Care for your automobile repair needs.Thank You A-1 Auto Care!Bob KronbergVenice, FL
