Hamilton and the team at Gold Coast Transmission were a pleasure to work with. They were a great advocate to get my transmission fixed on my 2017 Yukon under the extended warranty. Great work, on time, and friendly service equally another happy customer!

I just got off the phone with Hamilton, the owner. I was looking for a transmission fluid and filter change. I was referred to Hamilton by the owner of the shop where I regularly maintain my cars. I was quoted $400 to $500 by other shops before talking with Hamilton. His advice was to leave the transmission fluid alone, that it would be ok without the change and maybe even better off. Say what?!! Where do you get a mechanic like this anymore?! This must be a quality transmission shop because it is trusted by my regular shop; I found they are honest too, with my best interest at heart, and that is INTEGRITY. Hard to find these days.- just wanted people to know

I have had to bring three different vehicles here. They worked on my son's Jeep a few years ago and the service was great and price was reasonable. Last year, I brought in my daughter's Hyundai for what I thought was a transmission problem. Hamilton took it for a test drive with me and said her car was running great and no service was needed, and also recommended an extended warranty company in case anything should go wrong in the future. No charge. We brought my son's F150 here for a transmission problem. No appointment, we just showed up one morning. Hamilton looked at his truck and spoke with the extended warranty company. He called us back and said that the problem will be covered by Ford but I had to take it to a Ford dealership. No charge. So I just want to thank Hamilton for his time and honesty. If I do need any type of service in the future, I will definitely be coming back here.

Hamilton and his team at Gold Coast are absolutely amazing. WONDERFUL customer service, and he will give it to you straight. My husband s rear differential needed replaced and he got us set up and out the door as fast as possible. Even coordinating over the holidays wasn t a headache! Quality work as well, the truck is back to feeling brand new. I will add as a woman he made me feel respected and heard. I had to do most of the coordinating and he was very communicative! We definitely have found our home spot for repairs. Appreciate you, Gold Coast Transmissions!

Hamilton was the man to explain it all in details. I had questions and he cleared them up and went above and beyond. You don t find this kind of service anymore. Fixed my Titan in less than two weeks. Don t even go to the dealer. Don t waste your time because i did. Go straight to Gold Coast and meet with Hamilton. A++

Great experience with Hamilton and his team. My 05 4Runner transmission was slipping right before I was set to take it on a big road trip, they had it back to me running better than ever on time. Great customer service and solid work, highly recommend!

Land Rover LR3 with transmission issues. Hamilton did a complete overhaul for a decent price he even worked with me and lowered it. Vehicle works like new is shifting smoothly. The definitive place to go to for transmission work!!!

RUN!!RUN!!Hamilton is a scammer! Do NOT let him tow your car to his shop!Please read;He pays for fake reviews!!Do NOT sign any paperwork in his shop!I called in for a quote to repair my car, I explained to Hamilton with details the transmission issue, gave him car make, model even vin number. He insisted for me to allow him to tow my car for free from my home to his shop because he needed to see the car in order to give me an estimate. Once he had my car in his shop, his demeanor completely changed, he called me and told me I would have to agree to pay him $750,00!! for an estimate, after I say no he started to offend and insult me over the phone. I went to his shop to pick up my car, nasty and rudely he wanted me to pay him the total of $280,00 towing for 4.5 miles 5 min drive. I was scared of him, and wanted to run from that shady place asap, so I called another truck to tow my car. I finally had to pay him $110,00 to have my car s key back.I feel discriminated against because I am a woman!I truly believe his 5 stars reviews are all FAKE!!!

Great team at Gold Coast! Took my older lexus Ls460 and Hamilton and his team did a fantastic job. Highly recommend them, fair price and professional and courteous service. Car drives like new!

Run, don't walk away from this place. Brought in a car with a fully functional transmission, but with a noticeable leak. Owner said he had to rebuild it because "it's leaking everywhere ". The cost was $3890!!! Got the car back, and first thing was the transmission would not hold the parking gear. He said he had to send it somewhere else to get the parking gear cable set up. Got the car back, was able to lock on park, but when I got it home the transmission was LEAKING!!! leaking. I was so fed up with this shop's incompetence that I found the leak was due to an overtorqued transmission pan gasket, and loose oil cooler fitting. I feel that I was truly ripped off and I warn anyone to stay away from this abysmal transmission shop.

I took my car to Nissan and was not comfortable with what was said. I had the same problem that it seems as though they didn't fix. I call and spoke with Hamilton and the conversation alone made me feel comfortable about leaving my car with him. He was honest and upfront with my needs. I also received my car in a timely manner.I am 1000 percent satisfied with him and his service. I highly recommend Hamilton at Gold Coast Transmission in Davie for all your transmission needs. My vehicle was repaired properly and although I got ,what was considered a reduction in cost (4 hours taken off the labor cost),,it was still a large cost(5200) to pay for a repair of my vehicle for a reduction in the warranty. The warranty reduction was not told to me until the retrieval/payment for my vehicle. 12 months/12000 miles as compared to the 24 months/24000 miles. The extended warranty was one of the reasons I selected Gold Coast and to not have that was a disappointment.The car is running fine now and yes, Hamilton kept me informed of the progress of the repairs to my vehicle. Time will tell if Gold Coast will stand behind these repairs to my vehicle

Gold Coast is the real deal and so is Hamilton the manager. My 2009 Suburban had serious transmission issues and Hamilton got to the bottom of the issue quickly and professionally with no-nonsense or upsells. The quote was fair and detailed and Hamilton was easy to reach with any questions throughout the whole repair process. Here, you can trust Hamilton and be taken care of with no fear. He won't take advantage of you just because you are a female. He will look out for you and not give hidden fees. Had a great experience with Gold Coast Transmissions. The manager there, Hamilton Castillo went far and beyond to make my experience a pleasurable one. My car was there for a transmission change, and it was through a extended warranty, which was a nightmare, but Hamilton stuck with me and help me through this strenuous process and kept me informed of everything that needed to be done and what was covered by the warranty people. I would recommend Gold Coast transmissions to anyone and everyone that would need this type of service. Mr. Castillo would call me keeping me informed of the process of my vehicle and why they were delays beyond his control. I definitely give Gold Coast and Mr. Castillo, an A+ rating.

Anyone in need of transmission work???You don't want to go through through usual BS, this is definitely a place to go!You have to get with Hamilton, he is THE MAN!!!Hamilton and his team did a great job on my 2005 Ford Expedition, and I wouldn't trusted anybody else with it moving forward.My Expo is a Family Treasure, and jer name is Bertha. We purchased it new and we keep it like new. My kids were raised in it, it took them to school, hauls the dogs, hauled all our toys for us, and it kept/keeps us all safe. So as I had an issue with the transmission, Gold Coast transmission repair it to better then new. Price was far, turn around time was excellent, and they actually follow up with you to make sure all is well and that the vehicle continues to run properly.I'm not a person that writes too many of these reviews, but when something is good, other people need to know about it.To Hamilton and Team at Gold Coast Transmission.A Safe and Happy Holiday Season to all of you, and your families!!!Nothing But The Best! My father had his transmission rebuilt by Gold Coast. They were awesome! They gave the best price and no one in South Florida could beat it. They treated us like family and explained everything to us. Also, came with a couple years of a warranty.This place is highly recommend by my family.Service: Transmission

Gold Coast Transmission, damn Hamilton was great with my truck. When car shield gave me a hard time to fix my truck when the problem of my truck wasn't my fault and was out of my control. It took two months to fix my truck, and Hamilton was a great guy to get my truck fixed and car shield to fix it. I recommend anyone to go, too gold coast transmission to fix there'll car or truck and Hamilton will get it done and your be happy as hell when it gets fixed....

Just great things to say starting with Hamilton greeting, me and telling me exactly what was the problem and keeping me up-to-date on everything told me to bring it back to double check which I did and so far the truck is running fine I highly recommend them Hamilton thanks again

I can t say enough about the experience I had with Hamilton and Gold Coast. What I was told by others was a transmission problem was diagnosed in 5 mins by Hamilton as a wheel hub issue. They replaced the 2 front wheel hubs and my car now runs like new. Thank you Hamilton for your expertise, professionalism and honesty. No one wants to have car problems but when you do, Hamilton and Gold Coast is where you want to go.

1st off I work at a car dealership.. That being said I would recommend this place hands down.. Unless u have a new car warranty. Then see your dealership.Hamilton has been upfront and professional.Would I like pricing to be cheaper YES we all .. But where are going to find someone to do quality work on a 12 year old unit?Yes paying for a transmission beats monthly payments ...Will add to the review after I have driven the car for a year...or so..Update...Transmission still has issues.. Got stuck in 1st gear during the Holidays for a day... Has not happened since.Was told by another mechanic at a transmission solenoid code was now showing..That was back in November..Currently it seams that the car is sluggish on takeoff but it seems to shift gear too soon and it does not like downshifting...Will reach out to them on Tuesday as they are only open M T W And T.. No Fri Sat ..no one is open on Sundays..come on man... Lol
