Wayne is a great guy! Had some pump parts that he sold me at a good price and helped me with some advice on a part I had! Would definitely suggest a visit if you need some tranny work done! Even just maintenance!

I dropped my truck(2016 Silverado) off at the end of the day on Monday. Midday on Wednesday Wayne was calling to tell me my truck was done(transmission swap).I had a great experience- Wayne really makes you feel like he's known you forever and his staff is just as friendly. I would highly recommend Dade City Transmission.

I am very skeptical of most mechanics because I have been burned too many times. However, I now have someone that I can trust to do the job right and not waste my time or money! They did a great job figuring out what was wrong with my truck. I had taken it to another transmission shop that said there was nothing wrong with the transmission and charged me $100 for looking at it. Wayne took the time to figure out the issue and had it fixed quickly. I wish I had taken it to Dade City Transmission sooner! I would highly recommend this shop if you are anywhere close to Dade City,FL.Service: Transmission

Very poor experience. Had my vehicle with him for 2 weeks. The best he could do for me was 'suggest' that we replace the ECM of the transmission. Then he asked me to pick it up for him from the salvage yard in Tampa which I did. He plugged it it, then stared at his computer and then said, "well the codes on the computer are gone". Then he proceeded to ask me the same questions he asked me 2 weeks ago. Then he kind of just stared at me. That was it. Finally I decided to take my car to another shop. I loaded the car up on the trailer dolly by myself while he watched from inside, never offering to help. A couple red flags were obvious to me later. First, he has no employees. This points to something to me. Second, when I would call throughout the week he wouldn't answer or when someone did it was his child, a minor. Take your vehicle somewhere else.

Over 3 years ago Wayne and his team worked on my 1992 Chevy conversion van. They completely rebuilt the transmission, including replacing original clutches with Kevlar (what bullet proof vests are made of) and installed a "shift kit" that improves mileage and lengthens life of the transmission. The van runs better than it ever has. I was very impressed by the pride that Wayne and his team have in their shop and in their work. I have gone back to him for several other repairs since. On several occasions, he could have told me the problem was something more expensive and I would've had no way of knowing; but he is true man of character. I wholeheartedly recommend Dade City Transmission to everyone who needs major work done on their car or truck!

They rebuilt the transmission in my truck last week and I couldn't believe how well it shifted when I got it back, they gave me a great price and finished it the time frame they said they would, they did a great job and I couldn't be happier with my experience, I highly recommend themService: TransmissionService: Transmission

They will try to get over if they feel you don't anything about cars! Tried rebuilding my tranny for $3000 on a 2004 Ford Explorer which it only costs $700 to rebuild elsewhere! Highly recommend going somewhere else!!

My son was having trouble with his truck transmission. We went there. He looked at it and was honest about what he found. He is busy, but well worth the wait. Will definitely use in the future. Thank you.

Great Experience and they spoke to me very matter of fact. Bill was what they said with the installation of a reman transmission. Car runs wonderfully and would have no hesitations in recommending their service.

Solved my issue much cheaper than expected .did not try and take advantage of the fact that im not mechanically inclined .gave and honest estimate and didnt suddenly have " unexpected " expenses added
