Came from Tampa & lemme tell you, Wayne is the man! Explained to me in great detail what the issue was, got it fixed, any car related questions, he ll have an answer for. Highly recommend giving Tip Top Toys your business! Will come here for regular maintenance!

Giving a 4 star so far. I was referred by a friend who uses this auto repair shop a few times. I have some simple tire replacement, brake work to be done as well as a front end alignment. I met with I believe the owner Wayne. He seems to be a no nonsense and straight shooter type of owner/ mechanic. I have always been a good judge of character and after the initial formalities, I felt completely comfortable with Wayne. I felt he understood me and I as well with him. This is not the typical national retail or dealership auto repair shop in which I really don't care for. Reason being is the lack of honesty and price gouging. I know enough to know when I'm being sold for either parts or labor overpricing. I have enough experience to do the work in whole or simply understanding the mechanics of work to be preformed as well as labor cost and parts needed for the repairs. Wayne took the time with me. I didn't feel rushed. And this was without an appointment! Not easy for an owner of any business. So, with all that said, for now, I'm reviewing on this initial visit. I will follow up after I actually have the work done through his business. More to evaluate later...***Edit*** Perfect! Owner was honest, fair and didn't part replace for the sake of trying to make more money! The quality of parts and work was spot on. I ' completely' recommend Tip Top Toys and absolutely will return if and when needed. Thx Wayne for everything, especially your business ethics and quality of work.

Wayne is VERY Knowledgeable! He throughly diagnosis the problem, breakes it down into simple lay man's terms you can understand then fixes the Problem like a Surgeon! Very Honest and trustworthy shop where I feel confident sending my mom grandmother, daughter ond sister to for service.Chris V

Went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. My jaw nearly dropped when I wasn't presented with a massive list of unnecessary maintenance. The owner is a straight shooter and the good reputation is well earned. I'll be back should I be in need of repair. I ve taken my car to 3 other shops before I brought it here and none of them were able to figure out why my car was having issues starting. FINALLY Tip Top Toys was able to figure it out and was quick to fix it. Thank you so much! Will definitely be coming back here.

Tip Top Toys has taken care of my Toyotas for many years. This week I had my Camry towed there as the car would not start properly. Wayne and his team were very thorough and checked the car in all directions and found it was a simple problem: The chip in the key had fallen out . Wayne was so reasonable with his minimal charge for the evaluation and gave me peace of mind that it was not a serious problem. Thank you!

My wife and I were referred to Wayne by a friend several years ago. Ever since then we won't take our vehicles anywhere else. He is trust worthy and fair with prices. Turn-around time can be a little long with more advanced repairs but it's always worth the wait. He doesn't cut corners and keeps you in the loop of what's going on. I would without a doubt refer anyone to Tip Top Toys for their automotive repair needs.

I have been going to Tip Top Toyz for repairs on my Toyota Tundra since 2018. In the past 6 months I have spent over $4000 in repairs/maintenance. Recently went in to have engine noise issue (high pitched/buzzing noise) At first Wayne (owner) said they could not hear/find any noise. I explained that once engine is off takes about 10 minutes or highway drive and it is loud and issue. He told me they sprayed belt dressing and noise went away. Charged $87 for this "service". Diagnosed as possible water pump pulley bracket problem developing. Sure enough, driving back home on the highway high pitched/buzzing noise returned. Left message on answering machine, did not call back, so went back first thing in the morning with same issue. Was told cost of repair would be $650+, would have to leave truck there later in day so they could work on it the next day. I picked up the truck and turns out it was serpentine belt tensioner assembly. Part was bit cheaper but supposedly labor the same, although from researching it was not as labor intensive as the original diagnosis of water pump pulley bracket. It basically took 3 days to diagnose the issue. I believe the initial $87 should have been refunded at least since it was incorrect & wasted time going back and forth to the shop. Also they have put 3 serpentine belts for over $150 in less than 4 years of repairs, most recent belt was only 4 months old. Wayne the owner is very personable and I have been a loyal customer based on initial recommendation and outstanding reviews. Place is always busy and prices are probably higher than other shops. Wayne and team have been taking care of our vehicles for 15 yrs. Both import and domestic. Not once in all these years has he recommended service that wasn't necessary. Honest and trustworthy. I recommend highly.

I have taken my vehicles to Tip Top for a few years now. Ryan is the mechanic that works on our vehicles and he always does a great job. He says what he is going to do and is always timely with getting the work done. There are no surprises and the job is always done right. Also, Wayne is the owner and he won t try to push you to get work done that you don t need. Stay away from the dealership and take your vehicles to Wayne and Ryan at Tip Top.

Wayne is a fantastic mechanic!! I have been going to him for almost 10 years now. He is honest,reliable, and very knowledgeable. I moved 45 minutes away from his shop last year and I still take my car to him. I highly recommend him!!

I've been seeing Wayne and his staff since 2004 and I will not take our vehicles anywhere else. He is an honest & highly knowledgeable mechanic and only advises on fixing what is necessary and gives a heads up on potential issues that can wait. His pricing is extremely competitive.Wayne is a rarity and we live in Hudson so it's a little bit of a pain to have our vehicles serviced in Clearwater, but it is SO worth it when you have a quality honest mechanic!

I recently purchased a 2000 Honda CR-V and was thinking it needed an Axle replaced and a whole list of other things. I read reviews on shops in the area and found Wayne's shop among a few others with good reviews. I made a few calls and no one answered until I called Wayne. Dropped my car off after work and got a call from him right before I left work the next day telling me that everything was good and that a few things needed to be tightened. It wasn't even the axle! He is very fair and honest and only charged me for labor on the time they took diagnosing the issue and looking the car over. Great experience and I found my new go to mechanic.

Restored my faith in car mechanics! Honest, reasonable and efficient! I trust them and that means a lot coming from a precious experience with a slimy car dealership that was gouging me for my vehicles maintenance! If you re looking for someone who s going to diligently work on your car and make sure you re happy with the results, then you re in the right place. I bring my vehicles to this garage, never had a bad experience at all. Very trust worthy, knowledgeable and honest. I have been using Tip Top Toys for over 10 yrs. Wayne is an excellent mechanic and is one of the most honest mechanics we have ever used. We have kept several used cars running in tip top shape with Wayne's help. He is our go to guy for car care!!!

I drive past Tip Top Toys on my way to the office every morning and thought I'd give them a try. My auto technician, Ryan, was VERY patient with all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. I am not well versed in auto issues and he truly broke down my situation, providing a road map of how my concerns would be resolved and delivering to fix the problem. I appreciate his professionalism and will continue to use Tip Top in the future!

I will never bring my car to anyone else. Trustworthy and honest are an understatement. Having your car breakdown can be stressful and having a mechanic you can trust in priceless! Ryan and the guys at Tip Top Toys are the best!

The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a very old Mitsubishi that we got from my dad that we wanted to keep going even for a couple more years. I've been going to Wayne on and off for about 15 yrs. He is an excellent mechanic, doesn't sell you things you don't need and very fair pricing for good quality work. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my 2 toyota cars.

Wayne is a great mechanic, but above all, an HONEST man! For all I know about cars, he could have insisted I needed a new ABS system in my '02 4Runner, but instead he thoroughly explained the issue, told me what to look out for, and sent me on my way saving me over $2400.00!!! Total ticket: $50 something instead! This is the type of local business we should support!C Alex Garcia
