My husband and I are from Ohio and came here for our honeymoon. We started having trouble with our Jeep 2 days before we were supposed to head back home and wanted to get it checked out before we headed back just to be safe. We were thinking it was a transmission issue, which of course isn t cheap. We both have struggled with auto shops back home who have advantage of us so we were worried about having to find one here in Florida. We did our research and found R & C. When we got there the lot was full of cars and there was a gentleman who stopped what he was doing to come and assist us. There was another gentlemen and they both that were so kind and explained everything. They said we didn t need a new transmission and we would be find to get home which is what we were ultimately worried about. They not only didn t charge us for looking at the Jeep, but when I asked if I could give them a tip they said no. They were awesome and I could not recommend them more. Especially if you are out of town and having car trouble. Thank you R & C!

10/10 for sure John & Amy are amazing! We've been taking our cars to John for years, and he's not only the greatest mechanic, but they're truly Amazing Friends, polite, great prices, and are very honest hard working people that never let us down! I recommend them to Everyone

John is always great at explaining what the issue is and gives me frequent updates! I have 2013 Raptor and he replaced the steering rack quickly and for a better price than my dealership! My aftermarket warranty will also work at his shop! I'll be taking my truck to John from here on out

John is AMAZING! I have taken my oversize diesel pickup to John now for 5 years and have always had excellent, honest, affordable service. They are compassionate, truly care about their customers, and their work lasts. I'm from a small town and when I moved to Florida I was leery of so many fraudulent mechanics and hearing horror stories from others of inflated invoices, etc. but John and Amy are different, HUMAN, kind, and super honest. I feel safe knowing I can leave my only major asset that I depend upon daily in their more than capable care. I am very grateful for their existence!

Lies to customers. I was told 5 times my car will be done tomorrow. Ended up having it towed to another shop. Save yourself the hassle. This company doesn't deserve the rating it has. 20 days later I finally decided to go elsewhere. If zero stars wad an option this business EARNED IT!

Excellent service and honesty - do yourself a favor - don't go anywhere else, but R&C Auto & Truck Repair!!John is honest as the day is long - not to mention, a very talented mechanic!!We have all our cars serviced through John who never ceases to delight me!!Today is the second time that John fixed a simple issue that I had planned on being a very expensive repair!!Thanks, John and Amy!!! You both rock!!

I bought a used tire a month ago. For the last week I kept losing air. I felt for sure it needed a plug since I just bought it. The owner said tire is no good, need new one. I explained the situation and he insisted that I buy another tire for MORE money instead of compensating for the first bad tire he gave me. Never again.Currently at Just Tires and I'm loving the professionalism and my new tire at fair price!Service: Tires

1 Star is being EXTREMELY generous, forced to put 1 Star. I can only imagine how many people they've taken advantage of. This is the type of place that makes people afraid to take their cars to mechanics. Took a car to get inspected there, people were rude to my grandfather and in my opinion, my 11 year old niece know more about cars than these clowns. Told me my car needed thousands of dollars worth of work, and that the car was wrecked (mind you the body has NEVER had body work done and has a clean Carfax). If you ever need a car inspected STAY AWAY! If you need a repair DEFINITELY STAY AWAY! Next time I'll pay the $20-50 to have it inspected by the an ACTUAL dealer. By the way, the very same car passed a dealer inspection with flying colors at Toyota of Tampa Bay an hour later! I was honestly curious, when they said a $3900 car needed $4000 in repairs. Only thing the Toyota of Tampa Bay Tech recommended: valve cover ( his words exactly "it's just a little dirty", estimate was $100 parts & labor at dealer) and oil pan gasket (Techs words exactly "not a big deal, looks like the factory one", estimate was $120 parts and labor, included semi-synthetic oil change and filter). Best part is that it's an an actual Toyota dealer, Toyota of Tampa Bay. How a rinky dink shop comes up with $4000 on a Toyota Corolla with 120k I have no idea.
